He is new teacher that was just hired full time. He is full of energy and works very hard to make sure everyone in the class understands the material.

he is cool. His jokes can be lame at times, but at least he tries. He is funny because his joes are lame.

He makes math visual. He makes it enjoyable to be in his class. Even though the class is 2 hours and 15 minutes long, it goes by fast. His exams are pretty much down to the point. What he explains in class is practically on the exam. Also, his jokes can be funny at times. He relates Vodka to Wine and talks about his level 15 coma. If you decide to take Math 100, he is a good teacher that teaches it. You will have a great time in his class.

Professor is ADORABLE!!! Like your little brother..he looks about 18 years old...I think his jokes are funny and his smile is contagious. I have always had trouble in math..he encourages you to come to his office for help!! He gets sad because no one visits him on his office time....how sweet!! Professor loves the subject and is soo nice and dresses professional...very cute with his converse! Gah! He's awesome! He makes things really clear and encourages students to come to his office and ask for help. His jokes are lame, but you can't help but laugh. He's a geek (he's gone on a rant about how awesome Transformers are) but he's so cute! x3~ I seriously suggest taking his class, it's very user-friendly.

he's a new teacher at ARC. i'd give him a few more years to get seatled down into it all before you really judge his teaching. he's a really cool professor and it's a non-stress environment in his classes.

Brandon was easy for me to follow.My parents said "Its his first semester teaching and he got you." Well test are simple. If one takes a proctored test he grades way harder, better to stay in the class room. Brandon is kind and tries hard to educate everyone. I think that the higher the math class he teaches the better he'd be as a profesor.

It's a fun class if you've already know something about the subject. Sometimes he would teach harder ways to solve problems when easier tricks were availible. He always tells dumb jokes to lighten up the mood. The atmosphere overall is pretty friendly.

An excellent teacher, though somewhat new and young. As long as you pay attention during lectures (which are actually fun) you'll do well on tests and quizzes. He explains the material better than the book does and he's always willing to help students. Never really gives an exact due date for HW, but doesn't accept it after we've tested on it.

Super nice guy, always willing to help during office hours. Will go off on funny tangents about movies or other stuff which made sitting through a math class more tolerable. Only complaint is he is sometimes disorganized and because he's only been teaching for a couple of years his flow during lecture isnt always smooth. Overall good teacher.

Great teacher, warm and approachable. Always had jokes for us even when we were comatose @ 8:00. Gives a lot of take home quizzes. Puts a lot of effort into his terrific handouts, which crystallize the lectures & really help you study when finals roll around. Teaching seems to be a calling for Brandon; he's just going to get better & better.

I took Trigonometry class with Mr. Muranaka last semester and I enjoyed it so much. I was amazed of his teaching techniques and ihs methodics. Brandon was a good math model for me since I want to be a math teacher, too. I wish he would teach upper math classes, but he doesn't :(. He's a cool enough guy, and I love his math stories of back when he was in college. He's passionate, but a little inexperienced as a teacher. He knows his math though. Class is pretty easy if you follow some simple rules. Always show up on time to class and always do the homework. Tests are not hard, so pretty easy A if you follow my two rules

This dude is funny. He always cracks a joke to break the awkward silence. His lectures are very important, do the hwk and review his notes will get you a good grade. He is always available when you need help and is willing to make a appointment. Overall, he is a good guy.

Mr Muranaka is good teacher. He covers a lot during class so attendance is mandatory but his grading is simple. Pay Attention and you will pass easy...

He is the only math teacher I have had since 8th grade that has used math in song form. freaking awesome. Some of the jokes are really corny, but if you are a math person and understand them, it can be really funny.He makes himself available, so that's a plus. Would recommend him for any math class.

I am infamously terrible at math and Mr. Muranaka made it possible for me to learn and retain his course material. In fact he made it fun. I didn't even know that was possible to make math fun. Take any of his courses, I garantee that you wont regret it.

I had him for Math 300. I have since transferred to a UC, but I saved the handouts he gave us and I use his materials as a reference for 2 of my upper div classes because he did a fantastic job of explaining the material. The profs at my UC aren't great at teaching (which is common- they know the material, but can't teach it). Take him. He's great.

This is a very helpful teacher. He's happy to lend a hand through email, office hours, and in class. The exams are well constructed and understandable. He'll help you understand the "why" of math and does it with a smile. This is by far the best teacher that I've ever taken.

I dreaded pre-algebra before I took this class. Though I still don't like math in general, Professor Brandon helped give me the confidence to see the class through to the end. He is patient and will explain anything that stumps you. His text book and study-guides made homework much easier. Wish I could choose Muranaka for all my required math!

Brandon is the best math teacher I've ever had. He's realistic about his expectations and he makes the tests reasonable. I had him for Calculus I and I was not expecting the class to be so easy. I have high respect for a teacher like Brandon. He is a student himself and knows exactly how it feels to be in our situation. He gave us an open book source, homework is hand written, we don't have to spend tons of money on MyMathLab and the book. If you're able to get into Brandon's class, consider yourself lucky. This is the best math teacher I've ever had. I had him for Calc 1 and he gave me a really good foundation. I only miss him more now that I'm in my Calc II class with a teacher that is not nearly as helpful or understanding as he was. Amazing teacher!

Excellent teacher very helpful and understanding no textbook required for Math 25 class. Short sweet and simple exams. Alot of time in class to complete HW. Late work excepted. I could go on and on. Basically if you get the opportunity to take one of his courses dont let it pass. Phenomenal instuctor!!!!!

Great professor. Keeps the class simple and to the point. Tests are fairly easy, homework due on exam days which means you have plenty of time to do it. Does a really good review before each exam, and lets you turn in stuff late if you give him a reason; he is very understanding. Take him, you won't regret.

Im not the best at math so going into this class i didnt know what to expect, however, Professor Muranaka is amazing!! I NEVER once had to stress about his class throughout this semester. Hes super understandable &amp; and thats what I appreciate the most from him. He gives a ridiculously good amount of time to do homework (a whole week).
