Definitely the best professor I have had in a long time. A lot of what he teaches is for you to be prepared for your future occupation. Every single scenario in the class was fun, competitive, and eye opening. There are pop quizzes that test your knowledge on events around the world. Get excited for that!

Professor Pendleton's is one of the best Professors I have had in a long time. I had him for Organizational Behavior which is not an easy class within the Human Resources discipline. His lectures are very informative, he encourages participation and makes the information relevant to everyday events. Test are straightforward. He is Fine Too!

Brandon was my first Business instructor for introduction to Business. I was in his first class as an instructor. He is very patient and understanding with students. He knows his stuff in business and I highly recommend him.

I loved this class! He is one of my favorite professors so far. Defenitely a business man with great insight. Extremely organized and well dressed. Book based lectures. So do your readings. Test are difficult but he does allow cheatsheets. attendance and timeliness are important to him, after all he is practicing how it will be in t he workplace

Every day you do a new chapter. After some chapters he lets you do a study guide you can use for the tests. Few in class activities. He will call on you but no biggie. One big project at the end no midterm.

As long as you read the chapters and study for the exams you are golden. Awsome lectures, great advice, and he gives you help on study guides for exams but still would recommend reading the chapters because the study guide covers about 90% of the exams. Short Discussion questions usually every other week.

Professor Pendleton has probably been one of my favorite teachers in college. He expects a lot from his students, and is really motivational. Just make sure to come to class on time and pay attention. Honestly you don't need the book, just go to the library they have a copy there and the chapters are easy to read.

Prof. Pendleton is an amazing professor who 1) Is experienced in the field he is teaching and 2) Goes the extra mile to provide as much help as possible. Even though he doesn't believe in extra credit, he gives it! And a lot. Reading is kind of heavy; but simply divide it out properly. Tests are really fair! And as well gives a lot of chances.

Professor Pendleton is the best at Harold Washington. In the beginning of my semester, I fell very far behind. Luckily, I went in to him and he helped me get back. I ended up going from a D+ to a B, but an A was within reach. Overall, inspiring and wants his students to get an A. I also found I understood more material and wasn't just memorizing.

This is a class that should be taken by everyone! he is very good at teaching and explaining the concepts. READ the chapters although some of them are time-consuming it does help during testing !!!! Take the time to also research your business plan which is the final project. However, this is a fairly fun project to do!

I was worried before taking this class that it would be dry and boring. NOT THE CASE. I have learned so much from taking the Business 111 course and would not have wanted to have another Professor. Loved how Professor Pendleton kept the class moving with a variety of different source materials besides the textbook.

My favorite professor- always keeps the class engaged and genuinely cares about his students. Whenever you have a problem or question he is there and is willing to help if you show effort. First time taking a Pendleton class and I would take additional classes with him. He provides the class with a clear path of what is expected and hold all accountable. It wasnt a live class where he met with us weekly but the work given was actually super helpful and easy to follow. I felt like he set up the course in a way that you will actually learn something, because as we know thats becoming more rare in college. Easy A if you are trying!

If you are an adult ready to take on the responsibility of being a college student this class will be no problem for you, if you are still growing as an adult and not ready to respect that class is work then you might struggle.

Strict but the work and work load is straight forward, great lectures that will help you understand the topic, take notes on the Kahoots they are the exact questions that are on the test.

Had an amazing time in class and was super helpful when asking for advice in our real lives that related to things we were learning. No difficult assignments and majority were in groups/partners. This was a class I actually looked forward to every time.

I took this class fully online and it was one of my easiest classes this semester. I took his Business 111 class in Fall 2023 and it was great!. You definitely will need your textbooks for the essays and group projects. Be prepare to contribute to the group projects. Very smart, energetic, and funny. Passionate about teaching and influencing his students. His exam reviews are excellent but do your own studying too!

One of the best classes I have ever taken and a big reason why is Professor Pendleton himself. If he taught more classes I would take all of them without a doubt in my mind. Truly inspirational and actually cares for his students.

Professor Pendleton knows the best for the students. He let us used open notes for exam but need to 12 font and 1 page, extra credits about the chapter online. For review, we do kahoot the day before the exam and any questions feel free to ask him in class or 1on1. Highly recommended take pictures for kahoot cuz it will be on the quiz.

Professor Pendleton is honestly the best professor I have had to date, he is such a caring and genuine professor. He ensures that everyone knows what the criteria are and makes sure that every student feels comfortable to ask questions in his class. hands down the best professor i've ever had. the hw and quizzes are pretty straightforward if you actually read and pay attention. he gives a lot of analogies during his lectures that are relevant on the tests, so make sure you're present and taking notes. so caring, funny, relatable, and inspiring. i still think about him from time to time.

His class is very straightforward. Just pay attention to the lectures, read the chapters, and go to class during the test reviews and you will pass. Its important you come to class because he does in class assignment and you loose points if you don't attend. Overall great professor and you can tell he cares for his students.

This is one of the best professor that I have had, I took this class my first semester and it was good. If you're interested in business don't think twice about Mr.Pendleton. As long as you do your work the course will be a breeze, also reading the chapters is important!

Straightforward professor, right off the bat he lays out expectations and responsibilities. If you pay attention, do the work, participate, I promise that you will pass the class. It's not rocket science after all, it's possible to achieve an A in this course, helps with the GPA if you ask me.

I did enjoy this class and I did in fact learn many things this semester. It was easy and navigable. I have no complaints regarding the content, it was easy to use and simple to understand. Hands down best instructor EVER! Take an in-person class with him if you can! He is so motivational and inspiring. His passion is infectious. You can tell he loves his job and cares about each individual student's success. Class was very easy. He gives EC opportunities, and the only way you won't get an A is if you don't show up and/or don't try.

Professor Pendleton tells you from day 1 that it's up to you to pass the class, since is an online class, you have to be ready to read the chapter and do the homework and make sure to turn it in; he cares about his students and if you reach out to him for help regarding the class, he will be there to help you. I recommend taking any of his classes.

If I could, I would definitely take another class with Professor Pendleton. He's super caring about his student and always gives his students opportunities to exceed in his class. He offers extra credit and goes over exam material the class before the exam. Attendance is mandatory. Please take him as a professor, you won't regret it!

He was an overall good professor when it came to explaining the business concepts and applying them to the real world. He makes an effort to ensure that you leave with usable knowledge in the real world and cares that you find what exactly your plan for the future is.

Online classes are very easy to manage and engaging. As he mentions at the beginning of the year, if you do the work and try it is very easy to get an A.

Idk what the people who rate him low are on about. This class is very easy as long as you do the work, participate, and understand the professor's teaching method. The concepts are easy to grasp, plus his lectures may be basic but he does give good insight of the concepts and offers many detailed examples. Definitely take his class!
