Dr. Wiggins is amazing! He presents even difficult material in lecture very clearly, with a good sense of humor. He is very good at giving you the concepts and tools you need to complete the assignments. His tests are fair, and he gives great feedback. He is very helpful during office hours and will take the time to make sure you learn!

Professor Wiggins is all about helping EVERY student get a great grade. He makes lecture fun and easy. Gives help on HW, gives practice tests before each test and makes the material, which could be difficult, very easy. There are daily homework and weekly quizzes, but these are not stressful at all. Wonderful professor! Take physics with Wiggins!

He is very caring about us as students and very passionate about what he does. He understands what we are going through as students and what our goals are and helps us to reach them. He is always available outside of class and also willing to help.

Like any math class, there is a ton of homework in this class and if you don't keep up on it you will fall behind. He is very reasonable and willing to work with students if they are having issues though. He's very approachable and helpful outside of class, and he helps you understand material very well. Cant miss lectures! They're awesome though.

Professor Wiggins is my favorite professor. His lectures are filled with awesome demonstrations, and he uses his humor to his advantage. He is very nerdy, knows it, accepts it, and uses it to make the class fun. He knows how to explain the material in a clear and concise manner. I would highly recommend him to everyone, even non pre-med students.

I feel like I understand his jokes more than other students and it makes me sad because I want everyone to enjoy being around Brandon as much as I do. There are lots of demonstrations that make understanding easier. Homework is focused on what we talked about that day and it really helps solidify the knowledge necessary to do well in this course.

Brandon does a great job making lectures entertaining and reflective of his exams. However the homework does not go well with the lecture or prepare me well for the test. The homework is often very time consuming and seems pointless and unrelated to his tests and quizzes.

Weekly quizzes are simple and often times take home or done as a group. He is freaking funny and always has demonstration in lectures. Homework is given daily but it never takes too long. Exams are representative of what he teaches. He is always willing to help you in office hours and is understanding when issues arise. He cares for his students.

One of the best professors on campus, he is a new/younger professor so he is a little more connected to his students' needs and schedules which is awesome! He acknowledges the fact that most of us are not going to be physicists and teaches the class accordingly. Practice tests are very "test-like" and he mixes things up on the weekly quizzes.

Very fair when grading. He still remembers the perspective of the students and because of that he is very relatable and understanding Andy realistic in his expectations. Funny. Constantly makes jokes and doesn't take himself too seriously. The course is still tough because the subject matter requires a lot of work.

Wiggins was a great professor. Though physics itself was hard & not an enjoyable subject, Wiggins made it much more tolerable & understandable. He made due dates & tests very doable. He understood how busy college students were & made sure to not drown us in misery. Homework about every night but only due once a week. Was great about outside help.

Dr. Wiggins, who has asked his students to call him by either his first or last name, is an absolutely fantastic teacher. We have an object lesson everyday in class which usually involves combustion!!:) Our very first day, we were covering easy topics such as displacement. To teach this, he used analogies such as as hobbit traveling to Mordor.

Maybe my favorite professor at this college. He really cares about student success and is great at explaining concepts. I actually named my dog "wiggins" after taking this course because I really liked it.

Wiggins is my favorite professor at SUU. His entire teaching style is built off of fairness. He won't try and trick you, and prepares you well for the tests. He's quirky and funny and his lectures are very demo heavy which makes them interesting. He cares about you. If I had any complaint its that he sometimes can be a tiny bit scatterbrained.

Wiggins is very helpful and is very understanding if you go to him with questions on the homework or on the quizzes. He makes lectures interesting by making funny comments and doing lots of demonstrations. He understands that his students have other classes and he takes that into consideration.

He sometimes is unclear on some points he is lecturing on, but he does a lot of really cool examples for the class. There's a moderate amount of homework but he does examples on the board during class, including a few from the homework which was extremely helpful. He makes us laugh, which is important for a class like physics, which can get boring.

I really like Prof Wiggins. He likes making lectures enjoyable by using humor throughout and by using interesting demos. He sometimes isn't very clear when he lectures. But he is very willing to work with you and answer your specific questions if you visit him during office hours. He is very fair and actually cares about his students' success.

I gave the class an easier rating, but it may not be because of the teacher but because of the material - for me at least. He is one of the nicest and most reasonable professors at SUU, and he is nearly brand new. I would take him for any class.

You could probably pass without going to class if you read the book, but his lectures are awesome and more entertaining and clear than the book. It is well worth your time to go to class. He schedules enough homework to make sure that we are keeping up with the class but he doesnt make them ridiculously hard. The tests are very related to the practice test. If you do the homework and the practice test, this class is wonderful. Plus the demos and lecture are really fun.

Dr. Wiggins is interested in your success as a student. He cares about all of his students and teaches in a way that is so clear, a grade-school student could understand. Professor Wiggins makes challenging subject matter seem very very simple which is truly the hallmark of a great teacher. His study guides and self-designed homework problems prepare you very well for the test. The only critique I have is that I wish he were in his office more often because he is a lot of fun and a very great professor!

Brandon is all of the tags I selected and many more. I rated his class as an easy A not necessarily because the material is easy, but because his style and methods of teaching make the material painfully clear. He is absolutely brilliant and a true genius, while also being kind and humble, a quite aberrant combination to be found in academics.

Brandon is actually human. Like a real professor with human tendencies and feelings. He teaches the basics very well and gives great feedback on quizzes and homework so you know what you are doing for the tests. The one downside i had was it was difficult for me to get a hold of him outside of class. But that wasnt to big of a deal.

Prof. Wiggins is the best teacher at SUU. Once you take one of his classes, you will remember him forever. He does take a while to grade homework, exams, reply back to emails but he is such a cool guy that it doesn't matter.

The best teacher throughout covid, very understanding and wanted to help everyone with anything he could. He went as far as taking a class to see what we were dealing with and was very understanding with tests and never made us use proctorio. he made lectures fun and taught the material as well as trying to use demonstrations.

Every day he'll bring a demo to class to break up learning a little. He understands that we have other classes and plans accordingly. You have to put in effort to actually learn and benefit from class. He curves tests very generously so you don't have to worry to much about grades. He's a little scatterbrained too. Ask him to explain and he will.

I really enjoyed this class. Wiggins made physics fun and exciting while making the class manageable. I seriously loved this class. Most of the class was pretty easy, but I feel like I learned a lot. One thing was that the final was way harder then the exams so be aware of that (I got a low score on the final but still a pretty good grade). Even after all that I still think it is 100% worth taking this class.

Responds to email promptly. Uses free textbook. Would be nice to have feedback and prompt grading on discussions and labs. Nonetheless, is very receptive to lab ideas and willing to regrade tests if any inaccuracies are found. A major concern with the course is the need to validate the homework / quiz questions against latest textbook.

I have never had a professor that cares more about his students! I would highly recommend going to his office hours after tests, he is very willing to admit when he makes mistakes and he fixes them! AMAZING lectures! He does demos everyday to keep the class fun! Physics was not my favorite class but taking it from him was so worth it!

He is very funny and does great teaching, you will really like his lectures and I would 100% take him over any other physics professor.

wiggins is awesome. He tries is very hardest to prepare you well for each exam. his lectures are so helpful. the textbook is free, he wrote it and provides it for you. Physics is math heavy and sometimes can be harder content, and I think he sometimes feels like that is his fault, but he is awesome and so helpful. and so funny.

Dr. Wiggins is one of the best professors at SUU. He is a great lecturer and cares about his students. Physics is not an easy class to understand but he is awesome at explaining it! Sometimes he goes super fast in class but he is always willing to slow down. He does the most to make this class bearable and an added plus is he is so funny!

Wiggins is awesome because he's good at explaining tricky physics stuff in a way that makes sense. He loves what he teaches, and that makes learning from him super interesting. Plus, he's always there to help you out and support you in understanding everything about physics.

Professor Wiggins is awesome. He is a little spastic, so if thats not for you, I wouldnt take. I didnt mind it though- it made class fun. He was always willing to meet if you had questions and he gave me a ton of extra practice problems if I didnt feel confident after doing all the HW. Hes a great professor who cares for his students. 9.5/10!

Wiggins is extremely nice and cares about every one of his students. I would recommend him for any beginner. The class might not be the hardest, but he gets his point across extremely well. His lectures and real world examples helped me a lot.

(I'm a bio major/pre-med) Professor Wiggins is one of the best professors I have ever had. I've never had a physics course before but that's not necessary with professor Wiggins. His textbook is free, he gives a fair curve to every exam, he is very competent on the material, and the guy is hilarious. He will push you, but you will pass.

Dr. Wiggins was a phenomenal professor. He cares about his students more than any other professor I have seen, and his enthusiasm for physics shows in each lecture / demo. Would absolutely recommend his class.

Professor Wiggins is easily one of my favorite professors I have ever taken. He truly cares and is genuinely interested in the success of his students and provides plenty of resources to help his students be successful. He uses a textbook that he wrote that he gives you free access to and lectures and gives homework based off the textbook.

One of the best classes I have ever taken. Professor Wiggins cares for you as a person and wants to see you succeed. He provides demo's that correlate to what is being taught in class, so it makes it nice to see what you are learning be applied to a real life object. Highly recommend taking a class from him!

Prof Wiggins absolutely lives up to the hype. He tries so hard to make the lectures applicable and entertaining and conveys exactly what is expected of us on the tests. He is the most reasonable professor I have had and is still super knowledgeable and professional. Try to get into his class AT ALL COSTS

Professor Wiggins is the best! He utilizes a lot of really fun and interesting demonstrations to supplement what we are learning. You can tell he really cares about his students and their success. I did find it difficult to contact him through email so if you want a timely response, I would suggest talking to him in person.

Loved this Professor. Had super amazing lectures, it had to be one of my favorite classes in all of my time here. While attendance wasn't mandatory, there are quizzes that are done during some of them. But just come to lecture and you'll be set. Also he supplied his own textbook, which I really appreciated

Professor Wiggins is one of my favorite professors at SUU! He genuinely cares about his students and takes constructive criticism and feedback. He always brings fun demos to lighten up lectures and is super funny. He moves at a relatively fast pace but will slow down if you communicate that. Wouldn't take from anyone else!

Do whatever you can to get into his class. I didn't pass college physics the first time and retook it with Dr. Wiggins. It's not that he is just easier or has lower expectations, he still tests on all the same material, he is just a far superior teacher, so the material seems easy. Relevant equations are always provided on tests.

Prof wiggins made lectures entertaining against all odds, was funny, related to students, and provided lectures that presented the material in a way that was easily learned. one of my favorite professors. would highly recommend.

He is honestly the best teacher Ive had here at SUU, he really knows his material and cares for his students. I would love coming to his class since it always made my day, Hes super funny and caring and more than willing to work with you. Ive had some great profesorrs but Wiggins takes the cake. Use all his study matierals and youll have the grade.

Professor Wiggins did lots of practice problems to make sure we all understood how to do the work and understand what we were doing. He broke the lectures up with demos often which was fun and helped me to focus better. He made sure to tell us that he was proud of us and we were doing a good job.

Wiggins is an amazing professor. He truly does care about every student in his classes. If you go to class and do the homework you will be prepared for his exams. He also gives a practice exam before each test and it is very similar to the actual exam. He curves every test and gives other extra credit throughout the semester which is really nice.

Solid professor, focuses on the principles behind physics and not excessive algebra. Lectures are enjoyable. Tests are representative of what you are taught. Pay attention, come to class, do the homework without using Chegg/Chat, and you'll be totally fine.

Dr. Wiggins is the BEST! He explains material very clearly and prepares you very well for things like the DAT and MCAT. He makes it very, very clear what will be on the tests and gives very useful practice tests. In my opinion, he is the kindest and smartest professor at SUU. Take his class!

He makes Physics so much fun, he constantly brings demos in basically every class, he cares so much about what he is teaching. We were able to vote as a class on the next modules to cover, and he can tie the concepts into the most random and fun things
