Youngblood is like the Nutty Professor, but I mean that in a positive way. He's open about being really relaxed on due dates and he's just very flexible in general, which was difficult to follow at first. By the end of the course I understood his methods and really appreciate him. He goes over a lot of material, but the class is really good.

Really lenient on due dates for papers, gives interesting lectures that are enjoyable, has a good sense of humor and is just a good guy in general.

Professor Youngblood is amazing for psych! He is knowledgeable, funny, and easy to talk to. I took his hybrid class and we met once a week. I received an A easily. There are weekly quizzes, but it is so simple to pass them. Just read the book and review the powerpoints he posts online! Awesome teacher!!

This was an amazing class! I learned a great deal, and met some amazing women. Mr. Youngblood is laid back, chill, and easy going. The work load wasn't too much, and the group project went smoother than I thought it would go! Also, he isn't a harsh grader, he'll work with you, not against, to help you reach your academic goal.

This guy really makes this class a lot of fun and seriously cares about his students. I have never done a rate my professor before but I wanted to just to encourage people to take him. I wouldn't say he's an "easy A", you have to actually do the work but he genuinely wants you to get an A.

This was the first on-campus college class I have taken, and I feel like it was a strong class. Grading was fair and he would explain why he took points off, or what he found interesting in the papers he would have us write. I loved this professor and would definitely take another class with him!

For my first college class, this was an amazing experience. He really made the subject of Psychology interesting and motivated me to learn. He graded very fairly and explained everything that he took points off for, so you really knew what you did wrong. Grading was very fair and if you do the work correctly, you should get an A. Great Professor!

Hands down one of the most entertaining professors I've had a class with. The way Professor Youngblood carries out lectures is very enthusiastic and interactive. Long story short, it's very hard to do bad in his class since it's always so interesting.

I loved this class! Youngblood makes everything straightforward and uploads lecture slides (and textbook pdf!) online to make (online and open note/book) quizzes easier. Thought papers were reasonable in work expectation, the book report and group project took a fair amount of work, but overall this is a very engaging&doable A with light effort!

Professor Youngblood is extremely understanding, and cares deeply about his students' success. There's a decent amount of work but it isn't overwhelming, although the classes are very lecture heavy. There are plenty of opportunities for group work and extra credit, but even if you can't make class, plenty of resources are provided.

He's a really cool professor and I genuinely enjoyed how relevant he made all of our information. I agree with others who say he's biased, but he seems to grade the class fairly and is willing to hear opposing questions. He makes the class easy to pass and provides great resources! It's an overall fun class!

Great Class! The professor created a very comfortable environment. Long lectures but great discussion. Final was super easy, basically had the answers to the exam in the study guide, plus we took the exam as a group! Would 10/10 recommend.

An absolutely amazing professor! His lectures are fascinating, and he does a great job balancing content from the textbook with fresh lecture content without deviating too far from one or the other. There are quite a few papers, short as they may be, due every couple of weeks so it's a good idea to be prepared for those.

His compassion and caring are wonderful. He offers extra credit and accepts late work for partial credit. He wants and helps you to succeed.

He was an overall great teacher even though he was my first college professor I feel like he was a good intro to college classes and I hope to have more teachers like him

Professor Youngblood is so awesome! I have never taken a Psych class before, and he was really patient and understanding if you came in without prior knowledge. He gives really great lectures, and all the quizzes are open book. He was also super understanding about late work and was really supportive during our Distance Learning!

Show up, do the work, understand the lectures and participate with your opinions. I am not sure if ill ever meet another professor so passionate about the type of topics we were able to talk about in class. Take this professor, you will def not regret it in the end. :)

Hes a really great teacher. The lectures made it easy to understand the reading and course work. He responds to messages quickly. The class always feels less like a lecture and more like a group discussion. Hes the kind of teacher that is very approachable. Hes easy on late work, and all the quizzes and the exam are open book.

Youngblood is a pretty awesome guy! He gives out a lot of papers but they aren't hard, they are mainly all opinion and will take you an hour or a half if you don't mess around. He has quizzes after every chapter but they are easy and it's possible to get an A on each one. He is super sweet and always approachable. A group project and a book report.

Professor Youngblood has been one of the best professors I have had. He is understanding, caring, and overall loves what he is teaching. If you take any of his classes, know that you are in amazing hands. He is one of the few professors I've met that genuinely cares about his students and you will learn a lot from him!

Professor Youngblood is down to earth, through his connections formed with his students I felt encouraged to excel not for the grade, but out of wanting to show I was paying attention. Show up, pay attention, and be ready to discuss and you'll do just fine. Don't be afraid to ask questions, because there is always an answer he will give.

Great for an intro psych class & I had taken once before. Prof is available The info is up to date & he presents it in a way that is relevant to the world today. No lecture, but short vids + powerpoint and TEDTalks. Easy schedule for working students. Read the book! i want to watch the optional vids that I didn't have time for- so interesting!

Took an online class with him, he's a good professor. I liked that there weren't any group projects. The class was lots of reading and 2 tests each week plus 3 essays in total. Doable. Make sure to take his tests carefully as he throws in some trick questions sometimes. Aside from that, he's an enjoyable prof who seems to care a lot.

Brandon Youngblood was an amazing teacher that was very understanding. He put out very easy to understand lectures and explained the information through announcements he made every Monday. He also does not grade very hard and focuses more on learning and understanding the material over grades. He created a very stress free learning environment.

At first i thought that it was going to be too hard for me. But after seeing how my online class was formatted i really enjoyed it! Brandon Youngblood is an amazing teacher and I would recommend his class to anyone. His class is informational and very interesting. He is always available , tough but fair, a really pushes you to think! 2 thumbs up!!

Even though this was by far my hardest class for the semester it was also my favorite. Most of the work in this class are quizzes and papers so be ready for that but, as long as you stay on top of everything and turn everything in you should be fine. Professor Youngblood is great and I would highly recommend him.

Amazing class. Amazing subject. Amazing teacher. The lectures and quizzes are super straight forward. In the short 15 weeks of this semester, I have been able to reflect on myself through his reflection journals. I came out of this class understanding myself and the people around me that much better.

I really enjoyed professor Youngblood's course. I struggle a lot with online courses, and no online class is ideal for me. But his was very well structured with a lecture each week, along with several interesting videos to accompany what we learned that week. He had weekly quizzes, & a few reflection journals/discussions. Overall a great class!

Best prof I have taken so far, obvious that he takes the time for his material. Getting an A is not hard as long as you put in some effort. I highly recommend taking his classes.

Cares deeply about his students. Quick to return graded assignments. Stickler for APA format which can be challenging. Lectures and reading keeps you busy but discussions and tests are not too difficult. I learned a lot from this course and feel Youngblood has a good teaching style that allows time to absorb material without being overwhelmed.

I took him for PSYC 300 and that was a super easy A. 320 is a slight step up from 300 in terms of how many concepts you have to familiarize yourself with, but as long as you keep up with the work, it's very easy to manage and succeed in. Lectures and quizzes are very straightforward, overall a great class and an even greater professor!

Great Professor! Best feedback I have ever gotten! He is well spoken and a very eye opening and entertaining course. He does a really good job! shows awesome content that gets you into the class. Quiz's can be hard if you aren't thoroughly reading the chapters. There are a couple papers but I have never had so much fun writing papers in my life.

Legitimately incredible professor! Super caring, understanding, and responsive. Do your work and actually watch the lectures and you'll most likely get an A. Some of the content in the class can be a little bit difficult but it's all interesting enough that it never seemed like a chore.

You can tell that Professor Youngblood has a true passion for social psychology as well as his students. If you read the material and watch the lectures the weekly quizzes aren't hard and the papers are mostly reflections. He's incredibly responsive and gives great feedback. He made this class fun! Would definitely take again!

Great Professor! I really enjoyed his class and he cares a lot about his students, he's not too tough on grading but he does grade writing formats and such, 3 page writing journals once a month but its easy and 6 page essay at the end, READ the content or you'll fall behind!

The course is very easy to understand. I did well all through the course but didn't do the best on my final. I was really disappointed by my grade but then I saw a message from the teacher encouraging me to not quit. He literally communicated with me until I submitted my final extra credit. It meant so much to me that he cared. Very good teacher.

Super helpful and straight forward on grading. All of the lectures and notes prepare you well for the tests. Super supportive and this class talks about a lot of great topics.

Prof. Youngblood is an amazing person! Made the online class so much easier. He's very inspiring, caring, hilarious, and respected. If you want a professor who is going to put in the same amount of effort as you do, then Youngblood is the way to go. The course consists of a lecture, some content videos, textbook reading, quizzes, discussions, and reflection journals. I highly recommend choosing this professor because he is going to push you to think differently.

Extremely empathetic. Amazing teacher, amazing lecturer, amazing feedback. If you want to you will pass. Theres extra credit and the grading criteria is very straight forward. Tests arent to hard.

Great lecture & Professor have some understanding of APA formatting but he works with you if needed,has incredible attention to detail for assignments. I never had a question on when an assignment was due or what the instruction was. Professor Youngblood is extremely organized and provides all information to you through Modules and Announcements.

If you take this class in the summer like I did (6 weeks versus the usual 16 weeks), you might feel intimidated by the weekly workload (like I did). But Professor Youngblood strongly emphasizes his affinity for knowledge over stress -- and he means it. Do your reading, understand the course concepts, and you will succeed. You'll have fun!

Found the course challenging but very well put together. Despite there being many instructions, they were clear and set in place. Taking a ton of notes is a MUST, especially for the final exams. Answered any of my questions quickly and clearly, very kind and encouraging! Would take a course with this professor again, I recommend!

Professor Youngblood was at first a bit intimidating but honestly one of my favorite professors I've ever had. His lectures are quite lengthy at time, but his passion for this subject keeps me engaged. He's a funny and understanding teacher. Definitely a class where you need to put effort in your assignments especially the writing ones!

Some of them were kind of long, but they went very in depth on the topics being taught. He always would offer a space to talk which is always greatly appreciated. Very passionate about psych and supportive of his students! Long lectures (1.5hrs) each week, weekly quiz, sometimes discussions or reflection journals which are long papers. I didn't mind them, his projects allow for self-reflection and mind dumps! End of year book report, super cool. Overall I loved him and would take again!

He's a very nice professor, the course is really easy and all the lectures have videos. It's easy to pass the class, if you stay on top of your homework and deadlines. He's also pretty flexible, just reach out. I'd say follow the prompt to the tea if you want full points on papers. All in all a good professor

I've never seen a professor who cares so much about the material for an online class as much as Prof Youngblood. He's extremely passionate, and very caring/easy to reach out to. The lectures are pretty long but they are good, there is a decent amount of writing but the expectations are very clear & there's lots of extra credit opportunities.

Really awesome professor that is very passionate about social psychology. Each week is very standard with lecture, textbook reading, and a quiz (sometimes with the occasional reflection/discussion). He really cares about his students and is very kind. He does not tolerate AI in any capacity so make sure you actually do work.
