I took PSYCH1 as a Duel Enrollment course at my highschool and it's been a good decision! It's very cool to take college credit courses while finishing high school. Mr. Youngblood is a really down to earth, funny, guy. Very easy going. Not as hard as I expected a college class to be.

Mr. Youngblood's class is strongly based on class discussions that relate the content to social issues we face today. This isn't just another grade, it's a true learning experience.

Professor Youngblood is easy-going and a fun instructor! The class is an introduction to psychology so the lessons and tests are pretty straight forward. Lectures and class discussions are extremely powerful and thought provoking (don't miss out). Also watch out for due dates, they can easily creep on you. Listen and learn as much as you can!

Mr. Youngblood was a great professor. He had many qualities in a teacher that I believe are helpful for the students. These qualities include patience, availability outside of the classroom, and knowledge of the subject of Psychology. I think these qualities really makes a professor better than the others. It is obvious that he is willing to help.

I got him when i was still in high school. He goes over the lecture which is a power point and will be found online. He keeps the class interested in the subject! Every week online a quiz will be posted. He does assign papers though. He does expect for you to do a presentation towards the end of the course. He's GREAT!

Really great professor, he gives good feedback on papers and group project. He assigns a weekly quiz and everything is done online. He offers extra credit & extends the time to turn in old assignments just not quizzes. Took this class bc it was a requirement but I learned a lot and he actually cared about his students, definitely recommend!!

I loved his class because of how interactive this professor was. I learned a lot with the PowerPoints and the way he taught and explained it. I recommend this class. It is quite some homework and work you have to do, but you'll learn a lot.

Basically all the work you do is online, including the papers you write, the weekly quizzes and the notes. Professor Youngblood made Social Psychology an interesting course. His lectures were very interesting and can make a person think about themselves as an individual. Although there was assignments every weekend, I benefited from that by reflecting upon each week. Overall, I enjoyed his class and I recommend to any Psychology Majors.

I do not even know if attendance is mandatory to pass the class because since his lectures are so interesting, the idea of missing class never even crossed mind! I took Prof. Youngblood on my high school campus for dual enrollment. He showed lots of videos & did lectures after. We had about 3 thought papers & they were easy if you read the textbook and follow APA format. There is a group PP presentation at the end of the semester on any subject you choose. He offers a lot of extra credit. Got an A!

Easy A! Attendance isn't mandatory but would recommend going. My class was for 3 hours but he always cut it down to 2 hours. A quiz after lectures you have 2 hours to do with powerpoint posted online so you don't really need to take down notes. Lectures are really interesting and he replies to emails pretty quick! Also offers a lot of extra credit.

He was a very good teacher that worried more about our experience in that class more than anything. Even though he knew it would be easy to cheat in his take-home exams, he still did it. He also allowed us to work together for the final to promote asking for help. He was a great teacher, better than most.

Overall, this class was not the hardest, but still definitely not easy. We have weekly quizzes which are pretty easy, but you definitely need to study for beforehand. The teacher is very open and communicates well, but each lecture covers a lot of info at a time, so if you zone out for a minute, you'll be behind. Highly recommend this class!

Great teacher very passionate about what he teaches!

So basically Mr. Youngblood's class is super easy and chill. I loved showing up every week because his talks were motivational and he introduces you to some really interesting speakers. For a long time, I felt like he wasn't even my teacher and was just another friend. Also, if you need help, he responds pretty quickly on Edmodo messages.

Mr. Youngblood was a great professor and was very reasonable. He gave good feedback on papers, made class fun, gave very many opportunities for extra credit, and cared for his students. I am very grateful I was able to take his class.

He grades very hard for papers and tests but is open to regrading, checking, and explaining what we did wrong. He also provides extra credit. My grade was 83 percent at the last 2 weeks of his psychology 001A class and after doing some extra credit work, my grade boosted to a 90 percent!

An amazing teacher, expected the content to be uninteresting and boring but he made it very easy to understand and I was thoroughly invested the entire class.

Probably one of the best professors/teachers I've ever had. He one of the nicest people I have met and is all around a really good guy. By far best teacher I've had in while. Mr. Youngblood is awesome when it comes to getting students attention with the concepts being taught. And this is a gift that not many teachers have. Also, he does go a bit too fast on slides, but if you're really paying attention to lecture then you will remember majority of it. Just pay attention!

Respect D Professor! Although his slideshow may be fast to catch on, one can still review it as he post it online too. He is also an amazing Professor because he gives his students opportunity such as (EXTRA CREDIT). Some take home message I learned from his class is "As a whole, everyone needs other". This definitely will play a big role later on.

Youngblood was one of my favorite's , he made class interesting and was able to give us not only lecture but activities, projects, and videos to help us understand the content. Professor Youngblood was a fantastic teacher! The class was very informative and fun. We read the textbook but with each lesson he had a handful of suggested videos that I highly suggest watching. Each class was filled with valuable information and lots of laughs. He made learning fun and I would take more classes from him in the future.

At the time of typing this I have an 84% in the class. The workload isn't very heavy and not difficult if you attend the lectures and read the book. I particularly enjoyed having a class that was primarily lecture because the professor put together plenty of resources and links to better understand the material. I really enjoyed this class!

Was one of the kindest professors I have had the chance to meet. He always had a smile on his face when I addressed him with questions. He is very understanding and showed that he truly cared for his students. For his course work, we had an online quiz every week and 4 essays (plus an extra credit essay). Gave us a lot of time to finish the essay.

Amazing! Grades work and responds to emails right away. Weekly chapter quizzes, reflection journals, and discussions. Tests/quizzes mix of multiple choice and free response. At the end of my class, I had a final and a book review. The class was very eye opening and so informative! One of the best professors ever. Put effort and easily receive an A.

My favorite professor at delta. He truly cares about your mental health, and will help you with your work if you ask for it. If you get overwhelmed he will help you manage your work. There are weekly discussions and quizzes, and three thought papers. If you do the work you will pass without a problem.

I would have selected caring on the tags but there wasn't enough room. But I love how for the chap 10 & 12 test he has us give a wellness update and when I honestly told him what was going on he responded quickly and was concerned and gave me resources. That is how a teacher is going to make a difference and how all of them should be.

I had professor Youngblood this past semester and I have to say he is a very caring professor. I had not done APA style formats in years and he gave me good feed back and let me do my essay again the first time around. The next essays were easy. He also gets back to students quick. Keep up with assignments and you should be good.

Online so the course was made up of weekly videos that equaled a lecture and chapter reading. Weekly tests and a discussion from time to time. Three papers worth a good chunk of your grade that really force you to show an understanding of the concepts being taught. Professor Youngblood is accommodating and easy to reach at all times.

His class was great and very well organized. He gave us plenty of time to complete assignments and plenty of time to complete his tests and quizzes. You will be writing several essays, but overall the interesting topics make it easy to complete.

This was by far the most interesting and easiest Psychology class I have taken. Professor Youngblood makes the class interesting with his unique thinking to make everyone participate. I never liked psychology classes because I'd have to read the book and take tests but Youngblood includes discussions, Ted-talks, and gives really good feedback.

I enjoyed PSYCH 3 in Professor Youngblood's class!! The PowerPoints for each of the chapters are very helpful as well as the lectures! Make sure to read the announcements, even if it is not required. You can get good feedback on frequent incorrect answers on quizzes and nice updates! Overall, this was a great course with a great professor!! ^_^

He's the gold standard for Delta professors. You actually learn things in his class, he is lenient on not just grading, but when you can submit assignments, and he always responds to emails! He provides positive feedback and tries to make sure you pass! Honestly, the only thing you should watch out for are the APA papers as they could be tricky.

Prof Youngblood provided so much enrichment to the textbook curriculum. He makes learning fun. He also responds to every message almost immediately and has no problem answering questions. I have changed my major from this course, and will definitely take a course he teaches again.

At times I struggled so much managing the homework load from my classes, however, he was always there to provide clear instructions, advice, help, extra time, etc. Although there is a decent workload he is a very great professor!

It was a relatively easy class and the professor did a great job at reviewing for the final exams with his announcement. He seemed like a fun guy and although for his comments on assignments, I did not understand them much but thats my fault for not asking. Interesting material, easy if you try, and nice pace regarding assignments and quizzes.

I took Intro to Psychology through Dual Enrollment and it was an easier class than I expected. Weekly lessons and quizzes, sometimes a week would have multiple lessons but nothing too strenuous. Almost all chapters had discussions as well. 3 Thought Papers on topics that are actually interesting to write about. Final week is the easiest out of all.

Professor Youngblood, was a great professor. He did not give much homework, max 5 assignments and they were all due Sunday, given on Monday. I feel he is a very understanding teacher. A+

I'm still in this class but I literally couldn't wait to rate Mr. Youngblood. He's by far my favorite teacher I've had at Delta. He is fast with responding back to any questions. Very passionate teacher, this is the place to learn truly impactful, meaningful and interesting things. Though lots of slides to read and videos to watch so watch them in 1.5x or 1.25xspeed. Points come from 1 quiz each week, a few discussions, 2 papers and the final. Even despite the work, there's no doubt that I would take this class again!

Professor Youngblood is an excellent professor who gives amazing feedback, and is very clear about what he expects. The class itself is fairly difficult, and you'll have to work for that A if you want it, but he's more than willing to work with you if you need help. He's very passionate and not strict at all, and the class was a great experience.

Professor Youngblood is great. Instead of spending money on an expensive textbook, he gave us a downloaded link to our textbook. His assignments are reasonable and fairly easy. As long as you read, watch the videos, and look at the power points you will be successful. You can tell he genuinely cares about teaching and his students.

Textbook was provided online free. Expect to do quite a lot of reading and video watching. The course itself is pretty easy, if you are willing to take the time to focus on the detailed modules Professor Youngblood provides. Classwork involves chapter tests, few discussions and 3 essays. You'll learn a lot. I highly recommend.

About two writing assignments which I did not do but still pass the class. He is extremely understanding but does expect you to do assignments. Highly recommend taking his class.

Professor Youngblood does a great job in giving you everything you need to succeed in this course, as long as you're willing to go through all the material. It is textbook heavy, but the inclusion of his lecture and multiple outside sources referencing the chapter's subject gave personality to what was taught and helped me retain it much easier.

If you don't do well with studying on your own time then it might be a bit difficult. However, if you have any questions he is always ready to respond to them. Just use the resources provided and done.

He formats his modules as independent readings, slides, and videos. Although there is a lot of reading, he condenses it into slides and is open note/book on tests. He lets students talk to him about mental health, helps students however he can, and overall is passionate about getting students good grades. Still, be sure to keep up with deadlines!

As long as you do your work and communicate well with him, he will work with you to get a good grade!

This Professor was caring, He has clear grading criteria, and the class is structured well. No surprises, same thing each week. He does not give a lot of work. 3 papers in this class were on interesting topics and actually fun to write. He also gives amazing feedback and responds fast on canvas. Would take him again!

Mr. Youngblood was such a fun professor to learn from. He uses many interesting documentaries and TedTalks from youtube to watch. His Powerpoint's are so important to actually download and study. He also gives opportunities for extra credit. Can't fail this class! Psychology is definitely a class all students should take.

I had Professor Youngblood in Spring 2021. He is by far the best professor I have ever had! He provided many resources to learn for each unit, including PPT presentations, crash course videos, and other related (and entertaining!) YouTube videos. He puts in a lot of effort to teach and makes the course intriguing. Truly cares about student success!

Professor Youngblood is one of the best professors I've had. His content is so interesting. The class is fast paced so there'll be at least 2 chapters a week or one chapter and a paper. But his class is not hard if you do the work and not procrastinate. I would definitely recommend this class.

He's very caring in that he wants his students to succeed above all else. He's willing to work with you if you have to submit an assignment late, such as the writing assignments. The course I took was a hybrid, in which we meet once a week. Attendance is not mandatory but I highly recommend because it's well worth it! Definitely get more in class.

Mr. Brandon Youngblood is very considerate of his students. He grades his students very reasonably. He is always open to new ideas and always acknowledges his students, especially during in-person lectures. He cares a lot about his students and is very understanding.

Prof Youngblood is AMAZING! especially for highschoolers. I would not say it is an easy class as you can fall behind easily with the workload and not manage it properly. There are some writing assignments, but they definitely tie into psychology and are very interesting. Prepare yourself for the quizzes!!

Much less work than you would expect. It is clear what is due when (which isn't a lot). You pretty much just read the powerpoints, watch a couple crash course videos, and take an open note quiz on it. Three essays in APA format.

Professor Youngblood has the material set up in easy understand powerpoint slides and the test are quite simple as long as you watch the 4-5 required videos for the week. The material is set up using easy to understand terms, progressively using more complex terms. I found a new love for learning psychology with this class.

Online course taker. It was easy, laid back, well-organized, and covered a variety of different and interesting topics. The quizzes were straightforward and not difficult to complete if one follows the powerpoint. The discussions are often interesting because it centers around the students' opinions. The papers are fairly simple. Would take again.

Amazing Teacher! Prof. Youngblood is very interactive despite his class being online and it's genuinely enjoyable! The class in general is very light and the papers are really interesting. The material is conveyed in a nice and straightforward manner and he prioritizes the student's mental health above all else. I would 100% take this class again.

Mr. Youngblood was helpful and resourceful. He provided all of the necessary information and checked in with the class often. He taught subjects that are hard for students to think about, but they went by as if it was any other subject. I was in his online Intro to Psychology class, and I would, if I could, take more of his classes.

This class was awesome and prioritized learning above all else. All the deadlines and the workload are reasonable. It does move a little fast in the sense that there's so much to learn about psych, but each chapter lasts about a week. It's incredibly interesting and connects everything back to our society/individual lives.

Class was straight to the point. Discussions almost every week, power points and quizzes. As long as you either read the power points and the textbook which he provided a link to, you will be fine. Book review is given at the beginning of the semester but due at the end of it. Gives a study guide for the final exam. And a course recap paper.

Amazing professor with a very knowledge-rich curriculum. Weekly quizzes based on readings and lectures. Open note tests and quizzes. I know I could have easily scored an A if I applied myself properly and higher motivation while taking this course. Great prof. who provides good insights, additional content, and is easily accessible at all times.

He is very nice to students and comes off as very caring. As long as you watch all the videos provided, the class is very easy. I found the videos interesting as well and could even listen to them in the background.

With this professor, I was not only enlightened by the tragic but honest presentations of tough topics that are present today, but also was able to learn more about my self, literally physically, mentally, and physiologically. This professor is also realistic, considerate towards the entire class, and has an easy-to-follow method of teaching. 10/10

Participation matters. As long as you stay engaged I promise that this class will be a breeze. Also don't be afraid to speak up if something bothers you because he actually takes what you say into consideration. 9/10 teacher, strongly recommend!

This professor was good. I would have a higher grade if I did not procrastinate in work. I was able to meet deadlines on time. Overall the course work is easy to understand. The topics covered in the course are fantastic. I gained a lot of knowledge in the class. The professor is very understanding with the students.

I really enjoyed this class. It was fully online. Professor Youngblood is very caring. He answers emails promptly. Every week we had one chapter to read followed by a quiz. There are discussions every other week. There is one book review paper and a course review paper at the end of the semester. If you stay on top of your work, you will do great.

I took the six-week summer PSYCH 1 course. The material was a bit difficult to digest in six weeks but I still learned a lot. I recommend taking this class during a regular semester because you will have a lot more time to study concepts and put more effort into each assignment. Professor Youngblood is a great educator highly recommend.

Taken over 6-week period summer course so was a heavy load for a short amount time. Lectures were interesting, easy to understand. Graded fairly, accepted late work as long as communicated. Professor very straight forward, funny, relatable, and approachable. Quizzes, discussion boards, and 3 page paper each week. Final exam and final book report.

A great professor and all the lectures were really easy to understand. All the essay prompts were fun and matched with each lesson. Quizzes weren't crazy hard just make sure you read read read.

Very straight forward. Each chapter is divided into modules with a PowerPoint, videos, and test. Some do have discussions. Just stay on top of your work and you will be good to go. If I hadn't gone into early labor this class would have been an easy A. Turn in on time and you'll do fine, he is very strict on no extensions and no make ups.

Prof Youngblood is alright, I accidentally opened a quiz not knowing a timer would start and when I asked for another chance I was given a 0. Aside from that I don't recommend this class unless you really love to write 5 page essays every week it seems. He's a great teacher in some areas, but in other areas he definitely needs improvement.

Don't try to cut corners with this class, you'll get caught. I tried to use AI in my very first discussion, I got a zero .This professor rather hear some mumbo jumbo from the student verses an intelligent post from AI.He don't care what the computer thinks, feels or needs he wants to know what the student wants, needs and or feels.

This Professor is so knowledgeable and very committed to the field he's in, he's so smart I kept saying all semester. He explains everything in depth where your able to understand the material, I honestly wish I could have taken is class for a longer length period of time, but I can say I learned a lot of information.

Professor Youngblood is such a teacher who not only guides and motivates you but also teaches you various techniques of living a happy and stress-free life through his lectures and instances of daily life. I must admit that every Sunday, I was waiting for the lectures, videos, quizzes, assignments and journals of the next week.

Professor Youngblood is amazing and provides students with a variety of tools to learn. There is a lot of information covered in this course, which can be overwhelming, but the topics are so interesting that it makes the coursework fun! The lectures are in depth and detail oriented and I appreciated all of the dedication and effort put in course.

As the main goal of Professor Youngblood to help students see the world from a different lens than we do he exceeded that goal. All info that he gave of how the course information relates was informative. Although relieved I'm sadden that this is the end. I'm humbled & appreciative to have crossed paths with such a wonderful and inspiring educator.

I took the 6wk summer class so yes it was a lot every single week, he provided the book which was a HUGE help financially. He gave really great detailed lectures, grades quickly. As long as you listen to the lectures, as well as he also allows you to look back at chapters while doing quizzes. I would definitely take him again if given the chance.

I took this class during the summer semester, it was a lot of work because it was a 12 week course squished down to 6 weeks. But the professor is super understanding and will work with what you need.

LOL Students complaining about Youngblood are just a bunch of slackers who didn't read the extremely clear assignment instructions. He makes the course very straight forward - it isn't "easy" (you actually have do work) but all the content is super interesting and he gives GREAT feedback. Funny and engaging guy, even for online. Graded very fairly but do make sure to pay attention to the deliverables on your papers, missing one can hurt your paper. Dont make my mistake of not reading through the assignment properly.

The professor makes weekly announcements to class reviewing what we'll be learning for the week and is very motivational. He's caring and is willing to help you if you need any assistance. This was by far the most interesting and easy to navigate online class I have taken at Delta. The syllabus and assignment directions are thorough and he even gives examples of what he is looking for. I wish most professors orchestrated courses like he does. Bonus is he often asks questions of how you are doing and if you offers additional help.

This class was very well organized, and Professor Youngblood gave a fair number of assignments. He offered extra credit and answered questions if needed.

Great Teacher! Though there was a lot to learn over the class, how it was presented in his lectures and notes made it easy to digest and accessible to do alongside assignments. Assignments are run in the same format you learned at the beginning of the semester and don't change as the year progresses. The class is easy to manage, learn, and finish.

The professor's work was always pretty easy, but I would say it was tedious sometimes, too. We had discussions and chapter quizzes every week and three papers over the course of the semester. I am so glad he made the finals so easy if you looked at the study guide. Grading was very specific, but you will be fine if you follow the rubric. Overall4/5

I took Abnormal Psychology as an online class, decently light workload. There was a weekly quiz and a discussion every so often. Quizzes are open notes/open textbook and the required videos were always super interesting to watch. This class' finals week was the easiest I ever had to deal with and I really enjoyed taking this professor.

This teacher is one of the best college class teachers I have had. As a teen in high school taking college classes, he made this class less stressful. I had a whole week to study and take my quiz so I would have extra time to finish my homework. He gives out strong feedback so if you make a mistake he will correct you and you can fix that mistake.

I came to review this class because I had a great experience with it, both the prof and topics, but was surprised to see the recent negative reviews. i dunno what students are talking about regarding unclear, too difficult, etc because everything is extremly well laid out and expectations are super easy to follow. Professor was thorough in assignments. Tests were not easy, but not hard if you studied book. Responded quickly when you messaged him and I appreciated that since many teachers just don't have time to respond. There was too much material to view or read for each module. Some of it was just extra content, but I didn't feel right not viewing it.

This professor is amazing, he obviously cares for every student, immaculately structured his pschyology courses so all instructions make sense, hardly any questions about how to do an assignment, shows that he cares for his students with his weekly announcements, sharing student's amazing work, checking up on students to ensure their well being.

~20-50 pgs of reading + videos to watch each week, along with a quiz and the occasional discussion. A ton of points rides on the book review at the end of the semester. A bit of a harsh grader on the writing assignments, some extra credit, an easy but long final exam. Professor seems very liberal which I guess could be a pro or a con.
