She is a very fun teacher to have. Her is class is pretty easy if you study for her test.

She is a pretty god instuctor, all her test questions come from her notes, so no need to purchase the book - that's a good thing. The class is rather boring though!

Prof. Stark is one of my favorite professors. She completely reviews the material and knows her stuff. There is always lots of extra credit incase you flub a test. I am taking her for the 3rd time this semester.

She put an interesting twist on the material, her version was entertaining, and gave me an vivid understanding of Westeren Humanities

I wanted to take a biblical class forever but was veary weary of one way devotion. I wanted to be able to get into debates and change the why I think. Brandy makes it feel like you're hanging out at a coffee shop talking religion with her as the ultimate knowledge. She's fun, brilliant, and wants everyone to get an A.

The only female I know who can rock the boy george haircut. Stark is kick ass.

She is a great professor with a great teaching method. The only downfall is the study guides may be trick and worded funny than the actual questions, but if you show up for class there is no need for a guide. She covers all the material in and out, over and over, I highly recommend Prof Stark! She is just a fun overall person.

I took her class online for East/West Hum. Most assignments we're very simple, it seemed like as long as you did your work you would get full credit. The only negative thing is there are 3 quizzes that are 12 mins. long with 20 questions! I pretty much got 50% on them everytime. They don't seem to be out of the book ethier. But she was great!

Awesome teacher! Just go to class and do your work. You'll learn alot and get a good grade. Would recomend anyone to take her class. I had her HUM I express class, it went fast but was alot of fun.

I took her for World Religions. She was a great teacher. All lessons were posted so you could work ahead, which I love. Very clear, always gets back to you timly (questions/emails/grades). You will have to do work in this class. Lessons due every week. Either a writing project or dis board. 4 tests and extra credit. Take her!

Brandy is great! TONS of opportunity for extra credit, which isn't even needed if you study at all. She's funny and definitely knows her stuff, and she teaches with a completely unbiased outlook, which is nice for a World Religions class. I highly recommend her for this class- I thought it was going to be dull, but it's anything but!

I took her online for summer semester and I really enjoyed the class. The discussions and essays are fairly easy but make you think. The tests are fairly difficult, but if you read the chapters, you'll be fine.

Blended 8 week class. Easy class. Lots of discussions/speakers and some group work. Homework is all done online and not really covered in class. Easy homework though. Take her if you have the chance. I'll take her again.

I enjoyed this class.Extra credit work was helpful. Tests were timed and hard for me. Class assignments are interesting and fun.Due dates are posted. I did not do well in a past HUM class. Wish I had taken Dr. Stark. I believe I would have done better.

Field Trips are fun. Shes a little "out there" but shes a nice lady. I actually learned a lot in this class and didnt really try to. Got an A. Just know how to write a paper and study- like these other angry posts obviously did not..

Take this professor. She is reasonable and good communicator. She gives extra credit to boost your grade. Had I done it, I would have gotten an A. Ended up with B.

Easily the best teacher iv ever had. She knows her stuff. The topics she covers are difficult to follow and include a lot on material but she understand the need for group activities score well in this class ;) The first teacher iv even sought out to take again.

Online - 2nd time taking her. Lots of discussions/essays due but they are fairly simple. Group project on a southeast Asian country. Fairly easy project but start early. 3 test BUT some of the material wasn't in the book (not that I could find) Offers LOTS of extra credit. No mid-term or Final. The book SU@&S! Try to find a used one or rental.

I LOVED her. she was great. funny, interesting and made world religions easy. she had speakers come in and talk to us and on test days u dont even have to come to class. just take the test on ur comp at home during class time! would deffinetly take her again

She does a good job handing all the information you need to you. She uses angel a lot and puts all her notes on there. Her tests are hard and she is picky with her grades for the written assignments but if you study what she gives you you should be fine. It will help if you have an interest in this class.

This lady is an excellent teacher. I didn't really have a lot of interest in the subject prior to class but she makes it interesting. She's very laid back and approachable. Also you can tell she's very knowledgable about what she teaches. I would take her again in a heartbeat.

Great teacher! I had no interest in this subject, and was frankly dreading it but she made me look forward to class each day. She's very eclectic, and a (true) paranormal investigator to boot! Would take her again! We even had a project about anime! If you're an eclectic geek,(like me) you'll love her class.

I love Prof. Stark. The way she presents the information is phenomenal! She's not ultra boring, like most professors are nowadays when they give lectures; she gets the point aross much better that way! And our workload this fall semester hasn't been terrible at all. Interesting assignments!

I was scared to take this class, but it turned out to be a lot of fun. The class was so easy, I never even opened my text book. Exams were a little difficult but still reasonable. For the final, you had to go to a museum and write a paper on a piece of work. Easy work throughout the course.. I actually enjoyed this class!

This is a great teacher. She is clear on what she expects. Do the work that is expected and on time you will get an A. She also give extra credit to help where you didn't so so well before. Wonderful teacher. I took her for world religion and Western humanities.

The class was very easy. There's a lot of extra credit that was offered. The tests are heavily weighed and the class is based off a points system. He offers extra credit through the online class and extra credit to do in campus. If you work hard on your assignments and take your time for the tests, you'll get an A in the class.

she assigns 4 writing projects which I found a little bit difficult. She will take points for grammar errors. Also, some questions in the exams are very tricky and not clear. She offers a lot of extra credit and if you attend those and do the assignments you will be fine. She is very prepared and makes the course very interesting. Take her class.

Easy class with lots of reading and assignments. Awesome anime project and a museum project worth 1/3 of grade. No midterm or final but the big projects make up for it. Lots of essay writing and I believe we had 5 quizzes.

All book work, lots of reading and the questions are tricky on the test here and there. You must work in this class, you work for the grade you want. Tons of extra credit (weekly). Recommended course ~

Dr. Starks was a wonderful teacher, that is, until she started to talk. Give it to her, she knows her stuff, I mean she talks like she was best friends with these people, drinking beer in front of a football game. At times she would go off on tangents, talking about how anti-mainstream she is, or her pugs. Overall easy grade, just annoying.

i am currently taking her online religion course. I've gotta say this is one class i wish i took in person, not because its hard online, rather i wish i had more interaction with her. I really enjoyed the class, just think it would have been more fun if it was in person. I gained a lot form this class, and i should make an A. Lots of extra credit

Dr Stark's class was great. This is the second class I have taken with her, and would definitely take another class if the chance presented itself. Great field trips, and a wealth of knowledge from this professor. Show up, participation is 100 points.

She make the course content interesting in her lectures and her assignments can be hard. You have to put in the work to get a good grade. Overall a great professor that will teach you something new.

Lots of reading, offers online lectures but I watched the first one and it was really boring, I just read out of the text and took notes on Ch. Summary. Assignments due on Thursdays at noon, weird... Teach yourself kind of class.

Dr. Stark is really a great teacher, she's pretty straight forward on everything she wants from you, and you'll have only one assignment a week so it's so easy honestly. On her online class she has a ton of extra credit, each lesson has one, and her quizzes are easy as well just take the notes she says too and you'll be good. Overall great class.

Easy "A " if you do the work and turn it in on time. There aren't many assignments and she offers extra credit. Easy grader and an all around great professor.

Professor Stark is an amazing professor. This class was difficult to understand and had a lot of writing assignments, but if you read the book and pay attention in class, you will do fine. She gives you the grade that you earn, so dont expect any special handouts

This teacher is great just take her. 5 writing assignments 300w, quizzes, one midterm paper600w, discussion posts, she gives nice feedback. I would take any class she teaches. plenty of assignments so your grade isn't weighted so heavy final was a little tough but its not supposed to be easy. Prof. Stark may seem a little weird at first but she is extremely nice and carrying. Her classes are easy as long as you read the book. She gives plenty of extra credit (and encourages that you do it). Easy class and you will learn things about your own religion you didn't know.

Took her class HUM2210 online for FSCJ. As long as you do the work, you will get an A. 1 Discussion & 1 Chapter Quiz every week. Then you will have at least 2 essays & 1 power point. Grades fair. Check your spelling before submitting work. Syllabus is easy to follow. If you have any questions she responds same day or next day to email.

Professor Stark was one of my absolute favorite professors! Very relatable person, very eager to learn about what makes each student an individual and greatly encourages personal passions within her course curriculum. I would recommend her to anyone who has trouble focusing on tasks or staying motivated.

Professor Stark is a fantastic person, who really cares about each student! If you are a person that doesn't fit in to most situations or has trouble focusing on cookie cutter classes, she is the one for you.

Thought the class was good. Had technology issues since it was online and she was slow to address these, but in the end they were resolved. Didn't really appreciate how she handled it though. Assignments weren't difficult, but you had to take the time to do them. She is very knowledgeable and excited to teach the subject.

Professor Stark takes great interest in each portion of the curriculum, and encourages the students to do the same. All assignments are engaging and exciting. My greatest class experience so far.

Possibly the best professor I have ever taken. The class was difficult, but not impossible. You MUST go to class or you will not pass the class. Every exam comes with an extra credit opportunity, so if you need extra points there are plenty of opportunities. She knows the material extremely well and tries to bring in guest speakers. AWESOME.

This online class has been my best by far! Ms. Stark is amazing. She is great at communicating with her online students and friendly too. Her feedback on discussion posts are genuine and engaging. If you take this course look for your cultural project experience early! I took this in the Spring and the events were scarce.

Best online professor I have had at SPC. She is responsive to disc. posts, emails and projects. You are expected to read and write quite a bit of posts, but they are easy to understand. Take the Cultural Experience essay seriously as it gets hard to find performances later in the semester. Plan out these things, do the work and you'll do great!

Great person, even better professor, she really cares about the subject. Sometimes trails off but most of the time her stories are worth hearing. Likes to draw out notes on broad as she speaks so they get a little jumbled, essays are easy, discussions so so, just don't forget to do them!! pay attention and you'll pass

Dr. Starke was a really good teacher who is extremely passionate about what she teaches. Will offer any explanations if asked and will try to accommodate in any way possible. She also offers extra credit every chapter as well as bigger extra credit opportunities outside of the class.

Dr. Stark is perhaps the best professor I have ever had. Her goal? To make you think. She does not force her beliefs upon you but rather implores you to examine your own beliefs and be able to support them. This impeccable, ghost hunting professor is truly an incredible woman, from whom you will learn so much--so long as you're willing to listen.

Black board for all lectures and notes, so those with bad eye sight should sit closer to the board. Textbook is not used often, but a cheap PDF can be purchased online. No midterm or final, just 4 papers and 4 tests (submitted online) throughout the semester. This is a memorize, test, forget and move on type course. Attendance goes towards grade.

Her class is easy if you do the readings and keep up on assignments. She is an incredible teacher. She is the most caring teacher I have met and ridiculously nice. I am not really taking anymore religion courses but if I needed to I would. she is AMAZING
