Very "En TRES TIN" accent. haha. Hard to understand sometimes. Nice person and teacher. Tries too hard to be funny and smart. TOlerable. Would take another class with him easily.

Nice guy, gives great notes, very clear. I took him for 0308, 0312, and will be taking him for 1314. He's one of the best math teachers I ever had. I would recommend him if you have a hard time in math because he is very clear.

Mr. Brade is an awesome professor and person. He will take his time to help everyone on the class if they need help. He wants everyone to do well in his class. He has a funny accent and tells funny stories.

I truly enjoyed this class and learned a great deal. He helped me regain my confidence in the fact that I can do math. I will be taking him for 1314 next semester.

Very helpful and easy. There are 10 extra points on every test so anybody can make an A or B. Just do the homework and the review, tests are a breeze. I definitely recommend taking his class.

Very helpful, He goes around the class while you're suppose to work on a problem and explains any mistakes you might've made. He's so kind and is always there to help out. Plus he's cute and has a funny accent!!!

Currently taking College Algebra and am still amazed at how much I am learning. He's easy to understand and willing to help if you have questions. You have to be willing to ask, he isn't going to treat you like you're a kid and drag it out of you. Awesome instructor. Highly recommended. Do the homework! Less than 10 problems assigned each night.

I really DISLIKE math but he was great. He is available to the students and wants you to pass. Trying to get him for 1314...

He is a great teacher! He trys to motivate the class with his stories. Alg. is a hard subject, but he teaches it well and gives you plenty of chances to do well in his class. He gives extra credit. Best College Alg teacher!

Mr. Branson was a wonderful teacher. He knows what he is doing and hopefully continues to do so for years and years to come!

He loves what he does! He's passionate about math! He is very helpful and attentive. You must pay attention if you want to understand he material. He has great stories about his kids and about his home country of Dominca. I recommend him to anyone! Great teacher!

Mr. Brade is an awesome professor. He clearly explains everything and i walked away really understanding what I was doing, after being out of school for 10 years. lol. He gives you tools/notes that will stick with you for the rest of your math classes. He made sure you got it and understood it clearly. I would recommend Mr. Brade 110%

Absolutely wonderful teacher. I was not a fan of math,but Professor Brade taught me more than any other teacher ever and I am now in his 0312 course. He reviews each and every type of problem and if you are not afraid to stand out a bit, speak up and he will review it again. He has made me interested in math. Thanks Prof. B.

Great Teacher!

I took 3 classes from him this past year (0308, 0312, 1314). He is clear about what he expects, his reveiws are on the money, and the tests are multiple choice (except the first one). I enjoyed his accent and his passion for math. Do the homework, come to class, and have a "math party" or two.

He is very passionate about math and willing to work until you understand it. If you are semi-decent at math, the textbook is unnecessary because the online stuff (required) lets you look at pages of the text and teaches you what you dont understand.

Great teacher would recommend to anyone who doesnt like math or find it difficult. Tests are just like the reviews. Home work not required to do but are worth extra credit towards final grade. Take His Class

ONE WORD: AMAZING! I hated, I mean HATED math, and always have until Mr. Brade. He has changed my math life! Seriously! I think about math and approach math so differently because of him, and I am more confident in the subject also. I reccommend to ANYONE! He is teaching genius!

i have struggled with math in the past, but he explains everything very clearly. he focuses on concepts and actually teaching you how to work the problem with small round numbers instead of trying to trip you up with decimals. He will always stop to go through something with you if you just ASK, he wont move forward if you ASK.

Mr Brade is the BEST! He is so willing to help everyone and such a genuinely nice guy. I literally got a 107 as my final grade in his class. He gives lots of extra credit questions on tests, homework is optional and he drops your lowest test grade. I wish he taught calc 1 and 2! As long as you ask him to clarify he will slow down.

I've had problems with math in the past, but this class was wonderful. He teaches you the easiest way to work through problems, gives extra credit options, and is VERY helpful when you ask him to clarify. He will even take time with you when class is not in session. I will take all classes offered by this professor as I refuse to use any other!

Not sure why this instructor has bad reviews. I have taken him for all math except one because he didn't teach it in summer. Get in his class and follow him to every level of math you need. INCREDIBLE instructor!!! Funny I hated math but now I'll miss doing it. THANK YOU MR. BRADE

I don't care what others say, but personally his was the best math professor I ever had. I was not able to enroll in his college algebra class, but he was very helpful at tutorials.

He is splendid professor! His teaching style is relatively easy, he lays out on the board with full detail on solving problems and taught us how to do several workarounds on the simple to complex math problems. Homework is very flexible and easy, he uses MyMathLab. I recommend him to any students who are taking this course. I got A on this class!

Professor Brade is the best math teacher there is. He gets right to the math problems that are needed in life rather than going through the entire text. He gives extra credit, drops the lowest test grade, and gives a full review of the final with answers. If math is tough for you this is the teacher you want.

Having already taken all of my math classes at UofH, I took Branson Brade to fresh up my knowledge. He not only taught well, he taught me things I hadn't learned first time around. He also shows you tricks on getting around tough areas. Take him.

Great professor. He is helpful, lectures clearly and is very fair. anyone who has left a bad review is either bad at math or a bad student (maybe both).

He is amazing professor in Math, I find him in Cal2 but he doesnt have the class for it. His lecture is very clearly, there is no different between review and test. He even corrected your test after grading for the final test. His accent is hard to hear but i can handle it.

I took prof. Brade for trig in the summer, he let us use a graphing calculator and a formula sheet which does not have all but its better than nothing, not sure if its the same for fall/spring. The course load was A LOT (summer) hw and review are a must to pass his test. If you truly understand the hw and his test reviews you will receive an A.

This is one of the professors you truly want to have and will remember as one of the very best. You'll be glad you did. He's not necessarily easier but you will be more interested. He's very knowledgeable, teaches well, and respects his students.

Mr. Brade explained everything clearly. He gave us many extra credits. I'll take his MATH 1314 as well.

Professor Brade is very conceptual in explaining the concepts in Calculus 1. He explains the material very well ,however,that doesn't matter if you don't do the homework and the test reviews. Calculus requires students to work hard on the material. Make sure you do well on your first exam because it is going to be hard to bring your grade back up.

Mr. Brade presents a difficult subject area with passion and professionalism. He's one of my favorite teachers. Be careful when reading critical reviews because calculus is a difficult subject for many, regardless of instruction. That said, Mr. Brade presents an enthusiastic approach to both the math, and the success of the students more broadly.

Professor Brade is a very nice teacher. Explains his stuff very well. He drops one exam and he does not give extra credit so show up to class and do the homework and review questions. Not an easy A but doable

This was my 2nd time taking MATH 0409. He was able to teach me in a way that I could benefit from. He worked with me at the end of the semester, and told me exactly what I needed to do, in order to pass the class. There aren't many cons, except that class rarely ever starts on time. Schedule runs like clockwork, and assignments are graded on time.

logically explains concepts and has a very cheerful and kind personality. responds to emails within 24 hours and responds to student questions in class but sometimes arrived late. one of the better math teachers I have had at HCC. you still have to come prepared though or else you will feel lost. lots of mymathlab homework to get you ready

This professor is hands down the best math teacher I have ever had. He cares that each one of his students understands the subject. He would even change tests for a later date if he feels his students need more practice. I hate math but he makes it easier to understand meaning i don't dread going to his class.

The final will replace the lowest test, and he give a research paper for extra credit.

Professor Brade is the best professor EVER. In MATH0409 he went through each chapter at a good pace and does not care if you ask questions along the way. He is very inspirational and believes in all his students. Do your homework, come to class and ask questions and you WILL pass.

Prof. Brade was simply amazing. He explained everything really well, and he didn't mind repeating for slow learners. His tests were fair, and all of his homework was on webassign and due at the end of the semester. His office is right next to the classroom and it's very easy to access him. This professor was awesome and i def recommend him.

Excellent professor. Accessible during and outside of class, encourages participation and shows a genuine interest in his students. He also explains very well. Expect lots of homework and difficult tests though as studying and hard work are a must with Dr. Brade, but you will be happy you chose him. He truly cares and loves what he does.

Professor Brade is one of the nicest math teachers I've ever met. I struggle terribly with math and I don't like it but he taught in a way even I could understand. He works with you , and is available for conferences after class. Overall I enjoyed my experience with Professor Brade.

Don't shy away from staying after for office hours to ask Professor Brade on content that you misunderstood, because he would be pleased to make a student better understand the content

He's the best Math professor I've had in my 5+ classes of taking Math. His lectures are great and detailed, he also doesn't mind questions during the lesson. He also very approachable outside of class and will gladly answer questions. Take him!

One of the best professors I have ever had. He is very kind and encouraging. Takes one step at a time so you can grasp the material. Always checks on us and asks us if we have any question. Amazing person as well. Felt blessed to have someone who actually cared .

If you enjoy math and you want to learn, this is the professor. He is amazing, he doesnt what we can to have people understand. He does get frustrated when people dont care for what he is teaching and does nothing. He is the best teacher Ive taken so far. He is transparent and communicative.

Take this professor! He is amazing. He understands if you have a problem and you can ask/tell him anything. The work is as a usual college class and you do have to put in the work but apart from that, he makes this class easy. You won't regret it!

I struggled a lot with this class because I was going through a tough time, but Professor Brade was so so understanding and accommodating. So many other professors wouldn't have given me a second chance, but Professor Brade did and I am so grateful to him for that. He was incredibly patient with me, and is a real gem. Do your part and you're good.

Professor Branson is a fantastic instructor. YES this class is hard. If you are not willing to study and put in the work you will not do well. He is passionate about what he does & it comes through in his lectures, he is funny and does not take things too seriously! Do the work, study and you will be ok. Extra credit is offered for each exam.

He is such a god teacher. He works with you through difficult math problems. There is McGraw homework but its very easy, it does have a lot of questions though. He does give extra credit. Just talk to him if you have any questions with the course he is very understanding and will try to help.

Good lectures. Manageable ConnectMath homework (just do them right away and on time). Does test reviews in class. He'll take care of you, just (take notes in lectures-do homework-study- and you're all good. )

I love Professor Brade. Algebra isn't easy, but he makes things clear and simple to understand. He is so sweet and always makes sure students understand the topics we're learning. Plus, he gives us a heads-up on what to expect for the tests! I could not recommend him more.

Professor Brade is very inspirational and very caring I have never met a professor that actually cares, Professor Brade makes sure you are understanding before moving to the next lecture.

Honestly, Professor Branson Brade is really good, his class is super simple. You just go to lectures, take notes, do your homework, and take tests. His lectures can be boring, but if you try and take notes you'll succeed. Just put in the effort.

OH MY GOSH! Yes I passed the class, but he talks too much, it's ridiculous. Every time I wanted to ask or discuss something in class, he always assumed I wanted to start an argument. He goes into chapters too quickly right after we finish an exam. He gives extra credit and he drops lowest grades to replace with higher ones, at the end of semester.
