This professor may be a good teacher of the course material, however she is not an amiable person at all, and she has an obvious bias towards certain students. Brenda is A-OK. It's hard to know what to write in the short and long answer questions on the exams, though. She says not to reiterate her slides, but that means in your answer you're just going to reiterate what you read from the textbook, so I don't really see the problem. 3 exams total for your grade; M/C, short answer and long answer Qs.

Good Prof. Pretty easy as a summer class. If you don't even open the textbook and just actually pay attention in lecture you can glide to an easy B+. Sign up for some 0 effort extra credit stuff and turn that B+ to an A-.

Fantastic prof, incredible lady who is clearly passionate about the subject matter. Be prepared to learn a lot about pathologies and genetics, attending class is a must (she gives lots of hints for test questions and discusses things in class that she wont put in slides that she expects you to know) but she makes class worth it. Great personality.

Really awesome prof, made statistics very enjoyable, and very easy to understand. I'm not the greatest at math but was able to get an A in the course and I give lots of the credit to Brenda. Another plus to this course was I did not need to use the textbook at all. Would definitely recommend her to anyone that can take a course taught by her.

She's the best prof I've ever had. No question. She's fun, playful, insanely smart so she may poke fun at you with her quick wits, but the bottom line is that she instructs in a way that makes sense to everyone. She is definitely the peoples champion. Tests are very, very straight forward. Just go to class, study your notes, and you'll kill it.

Hands down my favorite professor I have EVER had. She is inspirational, helpful, very intelligent - overall an amazing professor. I'm not a math person and was very worried about taking Stats - however she made it so clear I came out with an A. If given the opportunity to have her you have to take it - she will change your university experience!

She uses (often funny) personal stories as examples for course concepts - made it easier to remember material. I would definitely take a class with her again. Exams are mc, shortlong answer - not tested on textbook material not talked about in class.

Her classes are entertaining but the expectations are unrealistic. She is by far one of the worst profs I have ever had, we didn't have our grades back going into the second mid-term, 70% of the exams were development and she is very preachy about how she achieved academic success. would not recommend her to anyone.

Brenda was entertaining every week. But she did ramble alot on things that weren't really related to the material and it took up a lot of time. Otherwise her lectures were helpful. Professor Baird is a unique prof. Her lectures slides are very vague so you are required to attend class to fully grasp the content of the material. Focused too much on personal examples instead of fleshing out material's concepts; vague explanations. Reads from slides; frequently jumps between them without fully explaining; confuses terms.
