Her test questions are all from a review sheet, but if you do not do the work, you will not recieve a good grade. As far as the family paper in this class, as long as touch on all its requirements, youll get an "a".

If you can't pass this class while sleeping you must have been comatose. did not feel she was knowledgeable enough in this area to teach it. snoozorama.

Bodine was awesome....grant it that it was a little boring....but I LOVED HER!!! We got so close and we are actually freinds to this very day!! She's great....Just do the review sheets and she'll pass you!

I don't understand the teachers that lecture all the friggin time! She was one of them, and I actually went to most of her classes. I believe that all teachers need to be respected. I mean, she was really nice, but geesh. The things she talked about weren't even on the tests. Just study the review sheets and you'll do fine.

The class was boring and you really dont need to go to get an A. She gives you review sheets and its all what is on the test. You dont even need to read the book, but just find the correct anwers and study them.

She is very easy, just go to class and study the review sheet, she is very helpful, sometimes her lectures get off subject with stories but they are interesting

Kinda boring--has about 10 topics that she presses a ton--pay attention to those for half the test questions. Extremely nice and interesting teacher, she just repeats herself. Take her class for easy and enjoyable A

SOCIO 1500 (Intro to Sociology) EASY A! Had 1pt over 100% before the final. Interesting examples, knows culture A++. Down to earth. LIBERAL. Believes Hill. Clinton is God's gift to the US; But WAIT, she doesn't believe in God!? Great Prof. Helps you learn. Come to class,take notes,if you screw up her class,go home, you're an idiot. Very Helpful

had to be one of the easiest classes ive ever taken. gives a review sheet that covers everything on the exams verbatim lectures are interesting, she knows her stuff and rallies off fact after fact of statistical data. exams come straight from the book, so if youve got that and a review sheet, youll get an A no problem. id take her again, definitely

you basically have to be a complete idiot to not earn at least a B in her class.very easy teacher, and the tests are exactly from the study guide. going to class, however, is pretty important

I really enjoyed her class. She made it so you were able to get an A, but still learned at the same time. She really knows her stuff and her lectures were very interesting. I would recommend her class!

Brenda is an awesome teacher. She is easy, and does everything so that you get an a. She basicly gives you the questions and answers on tests. I would highly recommend her, although you dont have to show up for class, i would because although her lectures are extrememly boring, her stories are extrememly entertaining! =)

A great teacher. Knows her material well and gives out review sheets before all exams. Also, she gives out bonus words if you come to class.

Attendance is not mandatory, but she gave out the answers to her bonus questions and gave all the answers to her review sheets, so going to class is preferred. Her lectures were boring, but she really knew her stuff. I would take another class with her.

GREAT! If you have take this class... and pretty much everyone has to, this is the professor to take. She was NOT boring, she was entertaining and fun. I learned a lot about Sociology. Sociology can be rather boring which is why so many people rated her boring. She told stories that made me connect the concepts of Sociology with real life!

Mrs. Bodine is a really good professor. Like others said, she uses stories to connect the subject matter and has really great knowledge on Sociology. She has traveled the world and I personally feel she kept me interested in the subject matter. She gives you study guides for the midterm/final and bonus for attending class. She knows her stuff!

Easiest class I have ever taken. Didn't attend more than 5 classes and got an A. She gives you a "review" sheet with all the test questions worded differently. All you have to do to ace the test is look up the 60 or so questions in the book the night before. She is really nice as well. Two tests are your only grades. Offers extra credit. RECOMMEND!

Awesome class Intro to Sociology. I am still taking the class this semester. Read your book and come to class and no reason not to get an A. Looking forward to taking a class from Dr. Bodine next semester.

I am a 39 yr old 2nd semester student. Professor Bodine is an amazing speaker. I enjoyed her class. I believe that I am doing so well in her class because I am learning not just memorizing a review sheet. She appreciates it if you pay attention and sit up front. It is nice when the professor learns your name when you are in a group of 200 students.

I am a 40 year old second semester student. :0) I switched my major from Social Work to Sociology within a month of starting her class. There is no reason to fail if you come to class. She is very clear and read your book on your own. Looking forward to my next class with her.

Professor Bodine is a wonderful professor! You can tell her passion for sociology! Class is very easy if you do your review sheet! Attendance is not mandatory but does give bonus for those who do come to class! There are only 2 exams!

Very good teacher. If you come to class you will get bonus points for tests. She gives study sheets and if you know them you will do excelent on your test

Women in society. She is very kind! Doesn't require attendance, but be careful, she gives a random bonus answer for the exams. There are 2 exams and one paper. The paper is on a book, and you must present at the end of the semester. Don't worry, it's informal and can be down from your seat. Easy class! Interesting, too.

She is very helpful goes over the review sheet with you. I can't say enough about her. She is wonderful in teaching Into to socially, The Family and Women in Society. There is some bonus points, but you have to attain class to get them.

Very good class. Only 2 grades so one better do well on the tests. However, does go over review VERY thoroughly. Interesting lectures, very personable. Took this class a few years ago and will be taking another by her.

Easy class! Barely went, passed with a B. There is only a midterm, final, and easy 5-page paper. She reviews for the tests too. She's quite nice and had me chuckling at her funny comments when I did go to class.

She is very funny and likable. There's a lot of material to remember but she does a very thorough review and sometimes gives bonus points. I recommended her to my son, who is currently enjoying her class.

Easy class. We had 3 exams total. Gave a study guide for each exam and went over each and every question so you know exactly what she's looking for on the exam. Willing to offer bonus point opportunities. She is open to questions. Sometimes it seemed like she was making stuff up, but those things were never on exam. Pick her if you need to take.

Very kind lady, you can tell that she is very passionate about what she does. Influenced me to get in to the field of social work. Take her for Basic Sociology!

Brenda is one of the best intro instructors I've ever had. She doesn't try to teach upper class material in an intro. The things you learn are relevant and give you base knowledge foundation. Other intro profs could learn a lot from her playbook.
