She was the best professor that I have ever had. This class was challenging, but she explains things so clearly. If you don't know something, she is more than helpful. Easy A if you know how to study & if interested in Micro.

She stepped in after my last professor passed away. She is a very nice person, but i find it hard to stay awake in the class. No matter how much i study, i still do poorly on the tests. Maybe its just not my thing. She is a funny woman though and seems to try and get us involved.

She is amazing!! She explains things so well. Her chemistry class is great. I actually understand it.

Brenda is a great teacher. She is very helpful and quite funny at times. If you have questions, she is always willing to answer them. Any time I left a message on her voicemail asking a question, she always returned my calls. She is one of the best teacher's I've had at this school and I wish more were like them. No need to buy the course book

A great teachr. I learned a lot in her class. Even though I took her class during summer, she made it a great and fun class. It is worth taking her class even if it is not required. I loved her.

I never took the shrink wrap off of my book and made an A in her class. She is pretty funny and as long as you take notes you'll be fine. She likes to reference liquor and drugs as much as she can.

great class, good information. i took online, breeding was awesome. very helpful, didn't have ridiculous expectations. i used an old edition of the book and was fine. there is a small booklet w/ nutritional information they want you to buy but we didn't use it at all. she offers links to notes from another teacher, i found them helpful.

I took her Nutrition class online in the Fall of 09. She NEVER EVER EVER responded to an email. If you like communication with your professor I would not take her! Other than that her test were pretty hard, but you had your book and the internet. The discussion boards were very simple and easy.

One of the easiest classes I have ever taken. If you do the homework then you will do well on the test. The book sucked but If you went to class and got the notes it was really easy.

I took her 8week Nutrition class. She made class very interesting, I was afraid that class would be very boring, because duration of class was more than 2 hours.We did not use the textbook and I liked this.

She is a GREAT professor! Make sure you go to every class, it makes doing the homework so much easier. She explains things very well and is extremely thorough. You will always have a chance to ask questions over the homework in class. She is also pretty funny-definitely sign up for her class!

Great teacher. Her lectures are very clear and thorough. Her notes are the best as they do follow along in specific chapters & are very clear to take home and study. She even volunteers every lecture to go through homework and whatever else people have questions on. Very nice, intelligent, warm lady and prepares you very well for every next exam!

Prof. Breeding for Nutrition made the class as fun as could be! She is interactive but stays on subject. Though attendance is not mandatory, skipping is not wise, the notes are thorough. By the way, if you do not read the book, you will fail. I would recommend Breeding as a Professor in general, super helpful!, but crystal clear on her policies.

Prof. Breeding is such a great teacher!! She is hilarious and has the best analogies to help you remember the concepts. The information is difficult, but she presents the information in a very well organized manner and lets you know what is important for exams. She made learning about bacteria and diseases SO much fun!! I highly recommend her!

Professor Breeding may the best and most caring professor on Earth. She will take time to answer any and all questions and genuinely wants her students to succeed. She is also very funny and has a quick wit. Great personality! I wish she could teach all of my classes!

She is great! Very helpful, good sense of humor, and she returns emails very fast. I can't wait to take another one of her classes. You can make an A but you have to read your book and know your stuff. It isn't an easy A. You will get the grade you earn.

Take her for every class you can.Everything she writes or draws you take it in your notes.Her tests are always directly off her notes.The classes she teaches are not easy classes but, she wants you to learn and it's important to her that you understand.You will learn very interesting stuff and she has a funny/interesting way of making it stick!

Best professor I have had, and I have taken a lot of science professors at OCCC. Very knowledgeable about Microbiology. She writes everything on the board and her tests come straight from it. Lets you ask questions. Real life examples and had fun ways of memorizing the material. I recommend her to everyone!

She's absolutely hilarious! She's very clear about what is on her tests, and I like her style of teaching. Her weird analogies will make you remember everything! I highly recommend her!

Prof. Breeding is an amazing professor who is very funny, smart, and straight to the point. Her lectures and notes are mostly on the exam. However, recording this class is a must. Everything she says during lecture, whether it is a small comment or opinion about the topic, is imperative the exams. She makes you think and applies material to life.

Online class. The tests were tough( NCLEX style questions that came from the reading with a few random ones to ruin your day) but thankfully they are open booknote. She graded easy on homework and discussions giving 100% if you completed them. I would take her again but I didn't find this class "enjoyable".

Took the online class of BIO 1023. I took it this summer and was a really easy class! I had some questions and she answered them for me that same day. I would recommend her for taking this class.

Professor Breeding is one of the greatest by far. She is very detailed about what is expected. You will have to read and apply yourself, however it is fairly simple. Breeding was very easy to communicate with and very understanding. She is also compassionate and helps all who ask for it.

I wish I could have Breeding for every course! I took her online nutrition course and although the test were tricky if you read your book you will do great! The only extra credit you get is at the end of the semester and its hard to get, so make sure you stay on top of HW and test!

I just completed the online nutrition class and it was super easy. Read your assignments and take notes to use during the open book tests. There are 5 extra assignments that are interesting and eye openers. Just do your work, do the discussions and take your tests. Oh, and the final is ALL extra credit! Easy!!

I worked a full-time job and took care of the house while taking this class. At first I thought that I will be pulling my hair out but the class was very flexible. I was able to work at my own pace and complete assignments ahead. Professor Breeding was available when I needed her and replied very fast.

Great professor, no group activities or group work. Do the homework and you'll be fine. She's funny, not heavy on the lectures. Very accessible and willing to help you if you're struggling.

Professor Breeding is great and defiantly lives up to her OCCC reputation! She is extremely patient with everyone in class. If you are really not understanding something and she sees you putting in the effort she will arrange to meet with you after class and outside of her normal office hours. I plan on taking her for another class soon!

Online tests are timed but it gives you plenty of time to get it done. If you study the material well you should do fine on the tests. She gives practice tests that are nice to have.

This rate is coming from someone who strongly dislikes all science. I took her online nutrition class for a biology credit & I was so surprised as to how easy she made the class! Each test is over 2 chapters, which makes it easier to study & she provides chapter objectives for you to answer & those objectives are exactly what are on the test.

Professor Breeding is great! Do the work and you will surely pass. The writing assignments was not difficult at all. This class is self-paced so you could actually complete it in 4 weeks or less, depending on your schedule. The work is not hard at all and the ebook was very helpful in completing ALL the assignments and exams. The final is optional!

I had Mrs. a Breeding for online fast-track Microbiology. She was a great online teacher &amp; made the class fairly easy! Informational slides, objectives are just as you would see on a test.

I really enjoyed Professor Breeding in my Introductory Nutrition class. She was very informative with lots of information to study with and she gave you review slides for each section to review before the test. Her tests and assignments were fairly easy if you just study and use the review materials she gives you.

I took this class online 8 week. There was a test due every Sunday evening over two chapters which is pretty typical of an 8 week class. Online discussions were easy and homework was a great boost for your grade because each assignment was worth 50 points. Professor Breeding is straight forward and quick to communicate when needed.
