Dr. Cornell was a great professor. She always answered the question that were submitted to her within hours.

Excellent!! Lots of work, but just do it. You will learn if you do the work.

She is a good teacher. Dr. Cornell is very helpfull and gives you plenty of time for your assignments. A nice lady, probably too nice.

Very hands-off teacher; Gives you assignments with a lot of leeway in how what you write. You can go exactly by the book, or get a bit creative, and you won't be punished for either. Low emphasis on theory, a lot of focus on practicing writing, proof-reading, and applying what theory you do learn. (Don't blame her, blame 350 char limit for this!)

Can't control the students, and for college students, they behave pretty badly. Otherwise, nice and helpful teacher. Wouldn't recommend for English majors or other English-focused degrees - not really rigorous. People turned in papers they wrote right before class for high B's or low A's all of the time.

She is a excellent teacher who cares about her students. I took her online and she was very help. She respond quickly to the needs of her students.

She's a great teacher! She uses "Groups" for alot of her classroom assignments which make it more interesting. which is where some might think that she has no control of her classes. She's very laid back and is willing to work with you on everything!! Tests and assignments are explained exactly so its very hard to fail!! (1301,1302, and 2322)

Loved this professor! She would always help people out with every question and most of the class time is spent writing essays. She kind of spaces out every now and then, but she's the sweetest lady ever. Very easy class!

Wonderful teacher! Helpful, understanding, easy. She is just the best! her classes fill up quick because she is just amazing :-) don't take anyone else unless you have to.

Had her for 1302 and world literature. I found campus class to be much easier then online. In campus class had more group activites, online you need to write your disscussions alone (250+ words 16 total, plus 16 responses to classmates) The online exams are also harder and she does not provide a study review like in the class room.

If you're looking for an easy class.. This is the one to take. Class assignments are a breeze and you don't do much. She's entertaining to listen to because she's kinda kooky.. But beware: don't ask her questions because her hearing is horrible and you'll never get the correct answer. Overall, for an easy class and semester I'd reccommend taking her class. It's an easy A. :)

Dr. Cornell is a good professor who cares about her students. Work is done in groups and she is helpful. She will not chase you for assignments and expects you to be adult. I am taking her for ENG 1302.

Mrs. Cornell is a great teacher! her class is an easy A. Most students didnt even bother showing up to class most days and they still made a B in the class. I would recommend her if you're not a good writer since her grading isnt difficult. But if you're an english major I would recommend a teacher that is more of a challenge.

I really liked her class. Easy only a few essays but they really aren't that hard. She does do a lot of group work... Over all I like her class and would take her again

I am so glad I took Dr.Cornell and if I had to take another english class I would definitley take her again!I am not very good at writing papers at all and she graded everything very easy.Most of the work we did were done in groups, super easy stuff and she will take any work late too.I got an A and did not try very hard.

Amazing TEACHER... knows her literature and you can tell she has a passion for teaching. extremely helpful for her students and has a great sense of humor to keep class entertaining. mostly work in class is done in a group so recommend is you work best as a group. Overall i wish i took her for all my english classes!!!

She is a very nice teacher. When your major isn't English, I would recommend you take her. She doesn't focus all of her time taking off points for grammatical errors. She actually pays attention to the substance of the paper.

Dr. Cornell is very friendly. She helps as much as possible. But there is way too much work for one semester. Don't get me wrong she is nice, but nothing is organized at all. If she would be more organized her class would be much better.

Dr. Cornell is an exceptional teacher. Her class was the first college class I had taken in 10 years. Her stlye of teaching made re entering college a success for me.

Where to being.... well i would take her again.. she really nice and if you listen to what she says she pretty funny. I laughed out loud several time listening to her talk. Its a fun class but she is a little confused at times and doesn't always understand what your asking, but who's perfect?? haha She a good professor.

She is a great teacher, she accepts your assignments late, or you can do them until the end of the semester. She is a very sweet person. Class is not very easy, you still have to study but it's not hard at all. At the end of the class she even gave me a hug, such a sweet lady. It was a pleasure being in her class.

Mrs. Cornell is the best professor I have had. She cares about what she teaches, and she cares about us as students and indivduals. She is fun, witty, and loving. I only wish I had taken her for comp 1301.If you are having a bad day I promise you by the time you leave her class you will be lauging. I highly recommend this professor.

I have her online.Very nice lady. Tests are proctored though. She doesn't mind if you turn the assignments in a little late. You had a total of four essays (poem, drama, research rough, research final)you will pass as long as you do all the extra credit and discussions. She's pretty easy on the essay grading. Very generous.

Dr. Cornell seems like she's losing it a little bit, but the class is super easy. I hate writing, but I don't think she cares what you write as long as you write and do the work. Overall it's an easy A class.

She is a lovely professor. I learned a lot. I would love to take her again and recommend her to others. Do not choose her if you cannot listen and you are not patient with elderly people. She is sweet and makes this English course a very passable one.

Dr.Cornell is a fantastic professor. She really loves what she does and it shows. She is very kind and fair and will really work with you if you are trying and doing your best. I really enjoyed my time with her.

She is a helpful instructor. This is not a bird course, but as long as you read the assigned chapters and keep up with your journals and complete your critical paper on time, you will accomplish at least a B in the course.

I took her class based of her reviews here. She is fairly easy. She does seem to have a hard time hearing so you may have to repeat yourself. She is very critical on essays/papers, but it was to my benefit. I enjoyed her class.

Super Easy Class. Just do your journals (cliff notes can help you on that part), go to the Study sessions before the exams and memorize! Then do your final paper. DO NOT WAIT UNTIL THE END OF CLASS! This class was VERY demanding online, I only had this class and one other and had hardly had time to focus n the other while I was taking this one. but Dr. Cornell is nice and understanding

Took this class blended and was easy enough. She is kinda confusing with the syllabus. Don't wait til the last minute to work on your research paper and you will be fine. She also accepts late work which is super convenient. She is a really sweet teacher and will help you out if you work hard.

Took her for Comp2 & she was great! I totally recommend her. I was struggling with my outside life & she was able to work with me. I did most of the work. She does give a lot of assignments but they aren't hard. She's really sweet! She gave me great feedback on my essay's. I took her in the classroom & got an A+.

She is such a sweet lady. Very funny. This is what I call a bird course. As long as you read the assignments or look on cliff notes, you will succeed. All of her exam questions are given during her study session the day prior. Show up to class and show her that you care and you will get an A :)

You can just swim in all the extra credit Dr. Cornell offers. I loved it! Just read up on the assigned texts on sites like Sparknotes, Gradesaver, etc. and you'll be good. Easy A (as long as you put in some work)!

She really stresses her class as a "writing class". It will be all writing, which i absolutely love! She gives a lot of opportunities for extra credit. Don't be discouraged by working in groups, every once in awhile. She really cares about her students.

I took this class online. Lots of opportunities to succeed. She is a very fair subjective grader, unlike most English teacher. I was able to make a solid A. She offers extra credit and you don't have to ask for it. I really felt like she cared about my success. She is not harsh or rude, but helpful! I would recommend taking her class!

Dr. Cornell is a great professor. I hated English and thought for sure I would fail. Got a B .. She is all about giving you time to write your papers. Most classes were a small lecture then she let you go to work on papers

Cornell is a very straight-forward teacher when it comes to what she wants. The only thing she counts off on the essays are grammar mistakes so definitely double check those. Be wary if you are already good at essays because the lectures are boring and she can not hear very well either. I would suggest the online class.

When selecting my English course's I make sure that I can take them with Dr. Cornell. I have taken her for 3 classes & plan on taking her for another. She is a prompt grader and gives back great feedback in order for you to be successful. Quizzes here and there nothing to fret over & exams are multiple choice with an essay. 3 big papers to write.

Love Dr. Cornell; would not take another English course with someone else unless I had too. I love a teacher that provides you with extra credit; she really wants her students to be successful. Easy discussion questions, a few written essays, and quizzes and exams that are not difficult.

Mrs Cornell is an awesome teacher and def would take her again! She has some hearing issues, so you have to be patient with her! ( speak louder and keep eye contact she will read Lips!) I highly recommend her for Online American Lit follow her exact instruction when doing the analysis and critical papers. I read all the readings on spark notes and on the internet i really did not use the book. Finished all the discussions early which were not hard at all just get those done and out the way easy A if you do the work!

Dr. Cornell is a great instructor! I actually had fun writing all the essays and looked forward attending her class. She also grades promptly. Furthermore, I learned a lot and improved my writing skills. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, who's English is not his or her strongest subject.

Dr. Cornell is sweet and cares about her students. I really dreaded taking ENGL1302 after I had taken Matthews for ENGL1301. But she made the assignments very clear and was pretty helpful. A few group assignments in class, two tests, 3 papers, 1 research paper with preliminary assignments. I'm more confident in my writing skills because of her.

Dr. Cornell is the SWEETEST professor ever! Her class?? Amazing and EASY. You get out of class early, you're SWIMMING in all the extra credit, assignments are so easy, and she is so kind. TAKE HER FOR ENGLISH!! TRUST ME!! Everybody in my class passed with OVER 100% as a grade!! Plus, she makes you laugh a lot which is great.

Amazing class! Very easy as long as you do your work. She is very lenient when it comes to due dates. I hate English and I am not very good at it but she makes it very easy I HIGHLY suggest taking her course. She has a lot of "library" days where you can work from home. Make sure you go to class for discussions though they are counted as grades.

She was the best professor I came across at CTC ! She's helpful but also hard at hearing so sit in front. There are only four essays to write and one test. I would definitely take her class again!

Great instructor. Lots of reading and essays but is expected since it's an English class. Instructor gives good feedback and adds comments to your work. Is open-minded to your interpretation of the short stories when it comes to grading your assignments. Overall great experience. Lots of discussion broads and offers extra credit.

Eng1302 online with Dr. Cornell. I was a bit nervous to take English at all an even more to take it online being I've never been to good at it. I took a leap of faith/ I'm glad I did. Very easy teacher, as long as you follow her requirements its an easy A. Dr. Cornell works with you if you have any questions or comments regarding the work that you have to do. This class was the easiest class I had taken for the semester, I recommend.

She has a hard time hearing you but is an amazing teacher. She does do a lot of in class work though so make sure you show up. 1 grammar test and 4 essays, about 2 pages long each. Not difficult at all. Easy grader. Just show up and turn in your papers and youll get an A.

The class is very simple. I took the 8-week online class and I managed to pass with an A, which was not difficult to achieve. She is a very fair grader, if you show that you tried and put in the work you should get an A. There are 17 discussions, 2 exams, 2 short essays and one 1600-word paper due.

She is very understanding, will give you excellent feedback, always responds to emails fast. Would definitely recommend her class.

I am not so great at English but I managed to get an "A" in this class. She was a fair grader and you have to do the work but by far the easiest professor I could have taken for English. I had to take this class online as there were not classes available for the times and days I could go on campus. I would recommend her for everyone.

I took ENG2328 online with Dr. Cornell, and honestly, this class was a breeze. There are multiple weekly discussion boards, a midterm and final, a final critical paper, and little assignments here and there- but none of it was very difficult. She grades fairly and, at times, leniently. I enjoyed this class. Buying the book is a bit unnecessary.

I ended up with a 113 A+. She is far the best teacher I have taken. She is very sweet lady. She does change assignments at the last min. She can't hear too well. You have to go up to the class to talk to her. Once a week she makes you do group work. I wish she taught a lot of other classes.

Class is great i took three different classes with her and passed all of them with no problem. She gives group work during class that is the only reason to really show up but if you ask she will let you make it up.

I took Professor Cornell's Composition class. This class was an easy "A", it is important that you complete all of the assignments that she gives and put effort into your essays. Overall I would recommend her to students taking Composition.
