I'm going to go against the norm here & say she was a good teacher. She provides access to her website to do homework, quizzes and answer keys for "B" problems. She does have favorites but overall a knowledgable teacher.

She is a good professor. Students expect teachers to baby feed the material to them and not have to study at all and complain when they don't get a good grade. She covers all the material and is always available for questions.

Keeps you on your toes! Positive attitude! Funny sometimes. Full of knowledge. If you want to have BUSA8 be easy take her!A LOT of homework; have it correct before going to class because it's hard to correct and you sometimes don't know what to ask. OH WOW! I can't believe what some people have said. I thought she was a great teacher. It is a hard class, but aren't all accounting classes like that? she does give a lot of homework, but it's worth it. She provides you with a lot of help. Highly recommended!!

I just finished the second semester of my junior yr. at CSU Fullerton. If you think Domico was hard wait until you transfer! It is then you will wish she was your ACCT. teacher every semester!! ACCT. at CSUF is 5x's harder than at Mt. SAC. I do feel her class tought me enough to adapt to CSU Fullerton. Good Luck!!

I don't know why some people are hating on her. Its called self-discipline. She always has an optimistic attitude towards teaching and is willing to help. If you don't do the HW and get a bad grade, it isn't her fault. Although there's much homework, she stresses that finishing the HW is key for an "A" in the class.

I ended up getting a C in this class and I admit it was COMPLETELY my fault. Domico was helpful and provided all the resources to learn by yourself as it was an online class. I started off on the wrong foot by not doing my hmwrk., but later on I devoted a little more time to the class. Had I done that in the beginning it would have been an easy A.

just finish her online class in spring 2006. in order to success in her class, need to read one chapter every week and do homeworks and test. online class require continuosly study, otherwise you may fail it. Brenda helps a lot, she using a discussion board, where people meet and can share thoughts. Good luck!

Mrs. Domico is a great teacher. She gives a lot of time and attention to her students and makes the class fun. There is a schedule to follow, but if you just do the work, it is not hard to get a good grade. She also has an awesome website that has so many things to help you study. I really wish she was teaching BUSA 8!

Very proffessional person, chearful, and concerned about her students. Although, she rashed lecture class, I am sure she will improve that in the future. She's open to constructive critisism, and improvement. Make sure you read each CH twice! and do Your HW.

I just completed accounting with Mrs. Domico. Although I only got a B, I must say she was the best teacher I have had at Mt. SAC. She made accounting fun--not so dry like other teachers. I really wish she was teaching BUSA 8. If you take her--just do the work and you will have the best experience.

She assigned a lot of work. You really have to keep up and read the text. I took this class online, so we were pretty much on our own. Overall, she's a good teacher and responds reasonably quickly to emails. The subject itself is not that easy to learn but not impossible.

Great instructor. Took it online and it's alot of work but it's all necessarry in order for you to really get the hang of the calculations and stuff. Not an easy class if you don't like a lot of assignments but I enjoyed it.

Ms Domico is a very good teacher. I had to drop because of work issues but i took her again last semester and she was so helpful to me. she made me want to major in accounting. Before I didnt know what i wanted now i am going to definitely major in accounting and join the accounting club

BEST TEACHER YET! she made class fun and really explaned subjects good. i actually didnt mind going to class. tests were tough, but she prepared us as well as she could. i shouldve got an A, my fault--didnt do all of my HW!

This teacher is very nice..the beginning of the class is super easy but harder towards the end. She is really helpful but sometimes leaves topics for you finsih teaching yourself. She makes you do a investment group project at the end of the semester so pick your group wisely!

She's a very nice teacher. A lot of homework but it's worth it, it really helps your grade. She gets off topic a little bit but it makes the class go by fast. If you put in the work its easy to get a B or A.

I took this class as a hybrid class and it was pretty interesting. You have to keep up on your reading to balance out what she'll be lecturing in class. Her lectures are easy to understand and she's always willing to help you out if you don't get the material.

Very useful class; fun and helpful professor. Before I took her class I had no idea Accounting was all THAT! She makes it fun and helps any time you don't get it. No making fun of people who ask dumb questions (I know because I asked many, ha!) Some of the easiest and happiest 5 units I earned... Take her class, she's great.

Took her online course and loved it. She gives you plenty of information and makes sure you stay on track. She's plain and simple, just do as she says on her syllabus and the rest of the handouts she gives. You can't procrastinate! You have to read the text book and work out the exercises to understand the material and do well on her midterms.

Awesome class. Just finished her online class, although I was first skeptical about taking an online accounting class, Professor Domico made the class interesting and informative. At times the textbook was no help to answer questions on the HW, had to use outside sources. Excellent class and professor, but need to reconsider the textbook.

At first people have difficulties accessing to the homework online. I wouldnt say its her fault for accessing the online HW, its just the company. Her class is easy if you study and practice. She gives out quizzes before she even lectures. Make sure you read ahead of time because theres a lot of info. Clear on examples,teaching, and answering ?'s.

I took this course online and at first it seemed so hard, but after the first midterm I did fine. She is a teacher who cares, is responsive and helpful, it is a lot of time consuming work if you dont fully understand it, but follow her advice and put in your time in the first few weeks and you will understand it.

She's very helpful. Homework is pretty much all online and she gives out a quiz on a chapter before she lectures on it. She gives one group project and grades fairly. Most groups received an A. The people that received a poor grade in the class didn't read the textbook. Don't rely on her lectures because there is so much info in accounting!

Great teacher. She's tough, but fair. She'll explain whatever you need to know. My only complaint is that she frequently goes off on some topic about her family, I usually just zone out when she does.

Brenda Domico is a great professor to take if you want to develop your skills in Accounting. She teaches so that you will understand why things happen rather than simply implementing memorization. Great prof, very caring. Very accessible via office hours or email. She worked in the field for years and passes along her experience. Took hybrid class. Not easy, but not super difficult. Put in decent effort and got a "B." Pay attn to due dates, participate in discussion boards, and pay close attn to the first 4 chapters. HW/Quizzes are online.

She's very understanding, one of the top prof I've every experienced with. She make it easy for you to understand and if you still don't she will make sure you get all the help you need while still motivating you all the way. Very good at teaching and understanding how students learning habits!

I am a noncredit student and have taken Mrs. Domico 2 times. She is the most caring teacher I have ever taken. When I was in her class I had a very bad situation at home that I had to deal with. Professor Domico is such an amazing instructor. You can tell she cares for her students and does her best to reach out to students that are shy. She gives study guides and welcomes questions. Also, she gave three extra credit opportunities. I had an 88% after the final, but since I had perfect attendance I passed the class with an A-

Great professor, I toke BuSA 7 with her with her online. She is very kind and a lot of extra credits. She is always caring and respond to your emails. Strongly recommend her and I would love to take BUSA 8 if she teaches it.

Let me make 1 thing clear, ACCOUNTING IS NOT EASY. This professor however made the subject MUCH more tolerable. She gives great feedback and is always available to help no matter how far behind. The math is simple, its just the tedious work in the journal entries that get you. I highly recommend this professor if you are a newbie to accounting!

If you are not one for independent study, this class is not for you. Her course is based all on the reading of the textbook. The assignments are consistent so you know what to expect each week. If you need help, she is more than happy to assist you. She posts examples for problems which helps as well.

I was so scared to take my first accounting class but wow I really discovered my love for accounting with her class. I have an A so far because her lectures really do help. The homework can be time consuming but its not too hard. I am taking her for the winter so its shorter time but more to learn in a week. She is so sweet and helpful

Even though I got a C in this class, Prof Domico was probably one of my favorite professors at Mt. Sac. She made it accounting somewhat easy to digest. She'd open up 2 weeks worth of homework every week so there was many opportunities to get ahead in class. I wish she was teaching BUSA8 so that I could have her as a professor again!!

Professor Domico is very experienced in accounting and her way of teaching reflects that. This class is 5 units so it took up a lot of my time, but I was able to pass the class even though accounting was new to me. The professor encouraged students to ask for help, and got back very quickly. We also had a large group project that went very well.
