Her lectures didn't feel like lectures. There was a lot of group discussions but I didn't mind it at all. Professor Buchalski is hands down one of the worst professors I've taken at UTSA. 80% of her lecture material is random, useless, and unrelated to the subject. She spent 20 minutes talking about feng shui. Studying for the exam is nearly pointless, because the exam questions are entirely out of her head. Little to no relation to course material.

Professor Buchalski is one of the most intelligent people I've met in my entire life, but lectures are somewhat confusing because there's a lot of information on the powerpoint slides that she says is unnecessary to know. Dr. B was a really influential professor for me throughout my university experience. I took this class and some of her lessons and words stuck with me even now that I've graduated. She promotes growth and learning at a personal level. She had interesting lectures, and her tests were fairly easy. Pay attention in class, and you get an A.

Do not expect to learn anything in class, you will be wasting your money. This class is good to get for your credit hours with minimal work, just make sure to ATTEND CLASS. She's kind to those that are in class/participate and harsh to those who don't. Instructions for assignments are never clear, but she's an easy grader. Just smile and wave guys

Professor Bulchalski was okay, not the worst prof ever. The class required a one-page paper each week and was an easy A, but I hardly learned anything. Instructions were often overly complicated with grammatical errors. She seems nice, but I wish she were more involved so the class felt meaningful.

This class is very easy, however due to the amount of grading error, she made this class hard to enjoy. She made the first few weeks assignment due on the book we had to purchase but the rest of the class we didn't use the book at all. If you want a good grade, you're gonna have to email her to be able to fix the grade. Do Sona as soon as possible.

Ok listen, I try to not listen to reviews on here a lot because I try to remain open minded. But please TRUST ME. Do not take this course if you don't wanna listen to pure yap the whole time. You go in, expecting to learn something, and leave more confused than when you entered. I do not understand where the school found this professor. RUN. (fr.)

Her background in criminal (in)justice is evident by how she antagonizes students like felons, projects her "superiority", and treats her opinion as law instead of teaching through evidence-based materials. Prepare to be psychoanalyzed by this self-proclaimed "empath". If you care about psychology as field I do not recommend taking Dr. Buchalski.
