I don't understand anybody who complains about Dr. Augustine. His tests were incredibly hard, but he is a fantastic teacher, and I wish I had tried harder in his class. I took him for 131 and 132 and loved it. Hard? sure. But his style of teaching is awesome, and he is exactly what you should expect out of a college-level chemistry course.

Didn't really appreciate how great of a teacher he was until I moved on to the next level chemistry class where my teacher is incomprehensible. Augustine's lectures are crystal clear especially if you do the assigned reading beforehand. Homework was easy but the tests were challenging but manageable.

Its clear Dr. Augustine really knows chemistry. Maymester moves extremely fast (at least one chapter a day) with little time to study or get extra help if you are taking the lab too. Tests are ridiculously hard and tricky. Maymester is only good if you have prior knowledge of chem. Overall, couldnt wait for this class to be over.

Dr. Augustine is a great professor. He is funny and makes chemistry bearable. Its the subject that is hard, not the way he teaches it, anyone that fails his class has no excuse because he is always willing to help AND also has weekly review sessions to clarify any topics you might not get. TAKE HIM if you have to take CHEM.

I love Dr. Augustine. I am still struggling as is, but it's because of the subject itself. I have gone to his office hours and help sessions and he's so willing to help if you're willing to put in the effort.

Professor Augustine is probably one of the best chem professors. Overall, chem is a tough subject and as long as you follow/read the chapters on time then you can understand what he is talkin about in class. All the other teachers have 4 tests and drop 1, but he has 3 & doesn't so you don't wanna get behind on material! He's helpful and funny, too!

Dr. Augustine is a very nice teacher when you're talking to him one on one. In class he's more confusing but does do a lot of examples. The tests were challenging but he gives you his past tests to look over.
