Great Professor, I would completely recommend . Listen to his lectures and you will pass, dont make the mistake I made and study extra out of the book, because then you will way over study and not do too well. He is always available for extra help. I am taking him 2 semesters in a row.

simply AMAZING in every way possible! I'm not a psych major and thought I was going to be bored but NO ONE ever fell asleep or didn't pay attention b/c he is funny, interesting, and full of knowledge & cares for students. Take notes & you'll pass. I would recommend him 100% if I had to take more psych classes, I would definitely take him AGAIN

My favorite professor so far! He is knowledgeable, funny, laid back and consistent. Did not need the book to do well, but you have to take a lot of notes. His multiple choice tests are not easy, but just study the notes well and you'll do fine. I found it helpful to record the lectures since all tests are based off of them. Super nice guy!

Awesome teacher! He lectures, you take notes, you have a test. That simple. All his lectures are interesting and you don't want to fall asleep listening to him. Super understanding and super nice guy. If I was a psychology major I would take every class he had!

If you get the chance to take his class, i definitely recommend you do. Pay attention in class and the tests will be easy. He makes lectures interesting and he is hilarious! Definitely was bummed when I transferred to a different college and had to drop out of his sophomore seminar class this summer.

Any class you can take with Dr. Bramstedt, take it! He is hands-down, the best professor at GGC. He's hilarious and makes classes really interesting. A few papers, tests aren't too hard and he doesn't used powerpoint. It's all lectures, but honestly, you learn better that way. I've learned more in his class than I've learned before, and its a blast

Hands down my favorite professor so far!! He got nominated for professor of the year (or something like that)aside from that, he just lectures, no powerpoints, no worksheets, no hw. Dont really need the book. its impossible to sleep in his class or even think about getting bored. he is beyond funny & awesome!!! HE IS A MUST TAKE!

By far my favorite teacher at GGC. He lectures the entire class period but he will keep you interested! Make sure you actually go to class, he isn't strict about attendance but you'll miss vital info. Always willing to meet with you for extra help. Take good notes and you'll do just fine! Great professor, don't hesitate to take this class.

Dr. Bramstedt is by far the best professor at GGC. I absolutely just love him. He is so quirky & if u go to class...u can look over the notes & do good on his tests. Only grades are really the 4 tests + a final. No ppts & attendance isn't required but if you don't go, you miss out on A LOT of material. TAKE HIM!! I'm retaking as much as possible!!

An awesome professor! Although he doesn't do the traditional lectures of putting up a PowerPoint, he does a SPECTACULAR job at verbal lectures! He engages you to the point you can't help but want to learn more! Highly recommend taking notes in his class [using a laptop]. He allows you to record he lectures, as long as you got permission.

(soph sem) He can be unclear on the guidelines for papers but he can be very understanding, stay on his good side and he'll help you out. He doesnt teach you APA, just expects you to learn it. All books "required" are required, you're going to want to get the books anyways. 2 tests about 3 papers (unethical paper, career paper, & lit review)-TAKE

Perhaps the best professor I have taken in my college career. So passionate, knowledgeable, clear, funny, helpful, quirky, (attractive) :) Will retake him as much as possible over my last year at GGC! HIGHLY recommend.

This is the best teacher I have had since I transferred to this school. Very clear on what he wants you to know for the test. No powerpoints but if you just listen and take notes you will pass the test and the class. Very funny and down to earth. I am looking forward to taking him for my next Psych class! AMAZING!!!

His lectures are amazing! He just goes up front and starts lecturing, and its all so interesting and engaging. He deff. knows his stuff. He always keeps it real, as well. There's only tests in his class, but they're easy if you go to his every lecture and take good notes. Attendance doesn't count, but you miss out stuff if you dont go. No book.

Bramstedt is amazing. Life-span developmental with him is a breeze. He lectures. Only 4 test and 1 final. Final questions are made up of questions from previous test. Allows you to see your old tests for review. Tests are directly from his lecture. We had 2 mandatory movie papers we had to write (very easy) and 1 optional (your choice of movie). A+

Brian is one of the best professors I have had at GGC. I started in Intro with him, and he is the reason I became a psych major. I have since taken him every chance I can. He's very willing to help you outside of the classroom and he is always on campus, just look for one of his motorcycles. He's very knowledgeable in each class he teaches!

Hands down, best professor at GGC. Show up to class, pay attention and you'll pass. Helpful tips, talk about motorcycles, pistols and his parrot. I learned more from his class than any other course I've taken at GGC. I wish all psych professors were as awesome as Bramstedt.

LOVE him. Absolutely one of the best teachers I've ever got. No PPs, only directions given. SHOW UP! You can audio record him, he literally doesn't care. Tests are a pie. If you pay attention, you'll pass. Numbers matter and anything he repeats or goes into detail for a long time will be on the test and probably an essay q (2 per test). DETAIL!

I love this guy, I planned my whole schedule off of him. That being said, if you're not a good writer already, this class will kick your butt! His sci. lit. tests are hard only if you don't pay attention to the work in the work books. Makes things as easy as possible and is willing to answer literally any question you have. Def take again!!!

Dr. Bramstedt is a great professor, it's clear that he's enjoys jobs and knows his stuff. However, his ways of teaching might not work for everyone. Not very structured and his tests are just weird and confusing. The book is pretty much useless, btw. His class was interesting, but in my opinion his style doesn't work with all types of learners.

He's definitely one to keep your attention. He's funny and makes lectures interesting. Only one presentation, two papers, and 5 tests. He doesn't do powerpoint notes so you just have to make sure to write down or record what he says. First test was a disaster, but after realizing how he formats them, I did perfectly fine. Would take again.

Pretty much the best professor at GGC. Really. Take his classes. Wears his heart on his sleeve, is super reasonable, and super funny. Mind like a steel trap. If the guy needed a kidney, would donate one to him.

Best professor ever. He's so hilarious which makes lectures so fun! Attendance is optional but it's best you show up because he does his lectures verbally. There won't be any powerpoints. Professor Bramstedt is a awesome professor, his class is just lecture but very interesting, class not boring at all. I really enjoyed his class, His test are based on how well you are at taking notes. Make sure your write down everything he talks about unless he says its not important even his little stories because they also show up on the test.

He is one the BEST professors you could EVER take! His stories and lectures are the best and they really get you thinking! There are no power points, he lectures and you have to take notes based on that. You can record his lectures and then write your notes. You should take his class.

All tests are based off his lecture. The statistics (number facts) were VERY important for them. The final was made up of all past test questions. He makes class interesting with personal stories. Great professor to take if you can! Also, ask to review EVERY test with him one-on-one after, you will thank yourself later!!

Dr. Bramstedt makes your Mondays a little more bearable. He is super funny and very nice. However, he does not believe in powerpoints or any type of lecture notes. He simply stands at the front of the class and talks. You are 100% on your own. Anything he says in class is fair game on the tests so you literally have to write down every word he says

Such an amazing professor. He does not do power points and basically your notes are whatever you guys talk about in class. His tests are also fairly easy and short but sometimes, not everything we talk about in class is on it.

One of my fav professors, nice and funny. His course is lecture heavy, he doesn't have ppts or notes for you, you have to listen to his lecture to have any type of notes and pass but he knows what he's teaching very well. Not many grades, just 4-5 exams, a presentation, and a paper. WIlling to help if you need it.

Lifespan Developmental Psyc was one of my favorite subjects to learn about. I respect this professor a lot. He's funny, quirky, and memorable. He doesn't use Powerpoint, instead talks to the class & defines real-life examples of what he's discussing. There is an adjustment period to this method. One of the most genuine teachers I've learned from.

By far the BEST professor at GGC! This is the second time I have taken him and am signed up for next semester! His lectures don't include a powerpoint but he makes it so easy to follow and take notes. His tests are easy only if you pay attention during class. Recording the lecture made things so much easier. Also super easy to contact after class.

HANDS DOWN BEST PROFESSOR EVER! Whatever he teaches you grasp it so easily. He cares a lot about his students. He only does pure lecture though so no powerpoints or any visual use in his class. I was hesitant to take a professor who does pure lecture but I found out it worked best for me. Really enjoyed his class. 10/10 would recommend.

I absolutely loved him. I had his class online so we only listened to his lectures, but he was very engaging and hilarious! ( I loved his little stories) His exams are straight from the lectures so make sure you listen carefully cause any question is fair game. Sometimes he'll ask questions too from his stories so take notes on everything.

His class I would say is somewhat easy, it really depends on your learning style. Everything he says in class may be on the test. Any story he talked about, anything at all he talked about can be on the test so you must take very good notes and pay attention. If it wasn't said in class or in a group email it will not be on the test.

I absolutely LOVE Bramstedt. He is super easy going, funny and all around a chill guy. Just pay attention in class and take notes on EVERYTHING and you will be good, if you're going to miss a class you need to ask someone to record him for you. All you have during the semester is 4 tests and a paper so PAY ATTENTION

Bramstedt is a weird dude, but a good weird. His class is all lectures. There's no PowerPoint, textbooks, or reading. He just talks and you have to take a lot of notes. His lectures are entertaining. If you're someone who's not a good listener, I wouldn't recommend him. His test questions are tricky as well so take really good notes. Take him!

Such a great professor and I enjoyed his class very much! be aware though if you do better with visual guides instead of just listening to lectures for a straight hour you might not want to take this class. attendance isnt mandatory but honestly its better to not miss class bc he adds 1-2 wacky questions that are on his lectures.

Dr. Bramstedt is one of my favorite profs at GGC. He's extremely understanding and willing to work with you if you're struggling in his class. I have taken him for his Adolescence class as well and really enjoyed it. Take Dr. B if you can!

Professor B is awesome! I see some of his ratings are low, but he just teaches different than others. He sits and talks to the class, all you have to do is listen, take notes, and RECORD the lecture. There are no assignments, just a few test and a paper. He's quite enjoyable and funny! Best way to study is going back to listen to the material.

Great professor, I was hesitant at first because it was just lectures no PowerPoints or anything, but we were allowed to record the lectures. The way he presents the material keeps you engaged, there were three tests and a paper due for his class. I'd say this class is super easy if you actually pay attention and go to class. Would take again!

Dr. Bramstedt is hilarious and has a great personality; however, there are only 4 tests and the final which counts equally. Very few grades, so if you do badly on one, it can be the difference between making an A. The class is easy overall, but most questions on the tests are tricky/ambivalent. Do yourself a favor and record the lectures.

professor bramstedt is really nice and laid back but i feel like he went off topic a lot. the tests would be on things we wouldn't talk about but at least if we told him he would not count the question. you have to go to class to know what was talked about bc it doesn't have powerpoints or recordings.

Im still taking Professor Bramstedt's class but his class is pretty fun. He does go off topic occasionally but he'll stop himself and get back to the topic at hand. His tests are pretty easy for the most part. I'd highly recommend to record the lectures so you can listen back and add more notes. Before the test he'll go over any questions you have.

He does not use PowerPoints, he just reads them off his computer which may sound harsh, but it actually helps to be engaged and take down notes from what he mentions. He allows for you to record lectures and ask him to repeat stuff to make sure you get the information written down. Grade is based on just tests and a paper.

Professor B is amazing. He lets us record lectures and you only really get graded on your paper at the end of the semester. As long as you email him your work, he will give you great feedback. Just make sure to discuss your sources in detail. I got a 100% on my paper! I am taking his lifespan development class next semester.

THE BEST ADVICE I CAN GIVE IS IF YOU ONLY LEARN BY PPTS DO NOT TAKE HIM, BUT IF YOU ARE COOL WITH RECORDING EVERY LECTURE AND TAKING NOTES YOU WILL PASS. HONESTLY, THE RECORDINGS ARE ALL YOU NEED! HE DOES NOT USE A BOOK FOLLOWS HISOWN LECTURE TESTING\TEACHING METHOD BUT GREAT!! GOT AN A AND ONLY 2 PAPERS! SUPER EASY.

Dr. B is incredibly caring and understanding. I was having a rough mental episode during my semester with him and he checked in on me every class to be sure I was holding up. If you need PowerPoints to take notes, then avoid him. He only lectures, but does allow you to record. There are tests but they are fairly easy if you study the material.

Like the other reviews, it's simple. Record lectures and be engaged. Contact your class on D2L and create a group chat; study and challenge his material. Dr. Bramstedt is a very unique professor. He is incredibly open about his personal life and can be quite offensive at times. His impression is very strong and he will maintain it. Good luck!

I took his class twice because I love his teaching style. He doesn't read off PP like others & he tends to connect his lectures with real world examples. You are allowed to record his lectures, & of course you can ask & speak on anything. He only grades 4 tests & a paper, if you take notes & listen to him, you will pass. I promise you he is fun!

Attendance wasn't a grade, BUT u had to come to class bc his lectures were him talking. No powerpoints or nothing. ur notes were just what u recorded in class/what u wrote down IN class. Only the exams were in the grade book plus a 5 page paper. no assignments. Hard to pass if u don't show up. Lectures were funny, very open ab his life. I had fun!

Professor was super interesting and fun, however, will get off topic and rant about his life. Skims through lectures often and would skip over what he deems unimportant or boring. Does have a lot of psychology based discussions in class with students. Work was easy and everything was open note and done online. Enjoyable if you just need the credit.

I love this professor! Although he didn't have any PowerPoints or anything for lecture, u had to come to class & listen to him to take notes. He made it worth it though. I just recorded the lecture & took the notes at home. He gives out personal examples that relates to the topic. Exams were MC & you have 1 essay at the end of the semester. Easy

Overall, I would say he is a great professor! He always tries his best to be full of energy even on days you can tell are rough for him due to him being sickly. All his exams are in person unless something came up for them to be online and they are strictly based on what he verbally says out his mouth in his class lecture.

Dr. Bramstedt is one of the funniest professors I've had! However his class lacks traditional lectures such as PowerPoints, meaning that much of your notes are taken from what he directly says so beware of that. I also wouldn't recommend taking this class in the summer as you'll really need the extra time in order to do well.
