Mr. Cremins is a GREAT teacher. He's very understanding and extremely clear as well as flexible regarding his assignments. If you cannot turn in apaper, he will most likely give you an extension. All you have to do is show up, read, and do the assignments and a 99% in his class can be earned just like that. He's INCREDIBLY nice and not judgemental.

He is definitely a character!! If you love comic books and KISS he is the teacher who talks about his crazy 80's rock n roll Nerd bomber stories. He is a fair grader if u have good grammar then you basically can write about anything you want. His 101 class is so simple and fun take it!!!

The most helpfull teacher I ever met. His assignments are writting papers like 4-5 in a semester but that is what you are supposed to do in Eng 102. He will make sure you understand what to do. Loves students asking him for extra help if needed. He even helped edit my Sociology paper. The nicest guy on campus.

Dr. Cremmins is a really good professor... He helps you out a lot and goes over material thoroughly. Tough grader but it's to be expected, after all he teaches literature and English.

i took Dr. Cremins for eng 101 and 102, both of the classes were extremely easy paced and easy to pass. He is one of the most hopeful teachers and seems to be one of the few that actually care how you are doing in class. Papers are long sometimes but he usually gives a outline which is easy to follow. some of the books are weird but fun to read

Took his lit class and he taught us the different writing movements and prominent in the past. His is fair in grading and its best to take full advantage of the writing center because most of his grading scale is based off papers. To sum it up, I learned something new and Mr. Cremins provides the necessary tools to help you excel and I got an A.

By far, the absolute best teacher at Harper College. I had him for ENG 101 and I liked it so much I took him again for 102. He is not an easy grader but he is a VERY good teacher. I took Cremins for English 101 liked his teaching style so much I took him again for English 102. He explains all the assignments very well and tries to help his students as much as he can.

He's really nice. He is a semi- hard grader. You will get to re- write 2 papers tho. I didn't do well on my first paper but re wrote it and with a little help from him did much better. He is a good teacher and explains all his assignments well. He will give an occasional pop quiz tho so do the reading that he assigns. really good overall teacher :)

This teacher actually cares about his students. If you ask for help he will gladly help. Just pay attention to what he says in class and what he writes on your papers. He gives 5 papers on different books. 3-4 pages each. I'm really happy I took him.

I advise you not to go to the writing center because Mr. Cremins is better to help you. In class finals are great. For the finals you redo one of the papers.

The theme for our class was books that took place in Chicago. Tests are pretty easy as long as you've read the chapters. A bit of a tough grader on essays. He's really funny, tells some great stories, and is probably one of the best teachers I've ever had. I really miss this class! It was so much fun and I loved all the books we read.

He really enjoyed teaching his class and had very interesting discussions. We had 5 papers total and read a graphic novel for each paper. Got to choose our own topic for the final paper. Only downside is that he's a hard grader, but he is more than happy to read your rough drafts before the due date.

Funny teacher. You write about 7 papers on short stories. There are small, easy quizzes on short stories. Tough grader and sometimes unclear on paper topics, but if you ask questions, he will clarify. Fun class!

Bunch of whiners on here. He is extremely helpful and if you are stuck on a paper go to him for help! I will admit he is a tough grader but, that's a good thing because your writing will definitely improve. Had him for English and poetry. Also he is really funny. Take him and you won't be disappointed.

Awesome class. The books we read were all Chicago based and very relevant. I'm not a reader but I enjoyed all the books. He's also very accommodating if you have an excuse for why you didn't finish an assignment. Very funny, a little awkward but I loved the class. I'd take another class with him if I could.

Professor Cremins is obviously passionate about his topics. I took him for a duel English 102Literature 105 class called From Batman to Beowulf and he made the class fun. You have to show up, and you MUST take notes. If you do that he practically writes your papers for you. There are lots of papers though, and he is a tough grader. Worth it.

Dr. Cremins is not a great teacher, but an extremely funny individual. I took two of his courses and both were amazing. Prepare to develop calluses on your fingertips from typing multiple papers (one due about every two weeks). He grades them hard, but encourages students to hand in drafts early so he can help. You'll have a whale of a time!

Cremins is amazing. I am so glad my friend and I took him despite mixed reviews. We took him again in the spring. He is a tough grader, but if you dedicate yourself and ask him for feedback in person there is no reason you cannot get a B or an A. I wouldn't say he's an "easy A," so don't take him if you hate English and if you're a slacker.

Mr. Cremins is the PERFECT professor. He works with your schedule. Over the 2 courses I have taken with him I have received more than 6 extensions. He is very understanding, so contact him if there is a problem. If you miss any classes, he appreciates an email. However you can talk to him before or after the next class. Overall an excellent prof.

I took his 101 prior and both times I have had an amazing time in his class. There are a lot of papers but he lets you send in a draft for revision if you finish one early. He involves a lot of interesting culture and research into each of the assignments. But be sure you are ready to write a lot of papers, because there are ton.

He is an entertaining and helpful professor. He has about 6 papers and a few quizzes which aren't that difficult as long as you read the book and pay attention in class. He gives good feedback on papers and allows for the revising of them for better grades. The papers are majority of the grade so ask for help if you need it. Overall a great class.

Best professor for writing in class despite that we have papers in ENG 101. For one essay, you have to write a paper about either hearing or comic books and another one is for about 2 Chicago natives if you know your comic books and Chicago history.

I loved being in Dr. Cremins class. An hour in his class flew by, I learned so much from him (hopefully I can get him for eng102!) I felt it was pretty heavy on the papers, every 2 weeks we had a 3 pg paper due. The work is tough but fair. Don't expect him to be a pushover because he holds his ground when needed. I took this course over the summer so we had about 6 essays in total however he gives you many options on what to write about. He also provides many of the readings and his Blackboard organization is easy to understand. He is very caring and will walk you through your papers and will provide more time to complete a paper if really needed.

You are required to purchase 2 books, but they are both comic books which you can finish in an hour. He is an easy grader but still offers good feedback. I highly recommend him

I took him for 101 and now for 102. Again, the best decision I could have made for an English class. He gives us interesting topics for writing and tries to learn more about you as a person through these topics. Overall, a great teacher and an excellent grader when it comes to clearcut guidelines and feedback. Would 100% take again if I could.

Dr. Cremins is one of kindest people I've met. He is honest and truly cares about all the students that he teaches. He pushes us to do our best and wants to see us succeed. Also our papers and quizzes are very straightforward and are doable. I took him for both English 101 and 102 and I can't reccommend him enough to anyone thats taking the courses

Dr. Cremins is the best English professor I had. There are reading quizzes but they are easy as they open book. In addition, the papers weren't that bad as Dr. Cremins allowed me to send him my paper before I submitted my paper. As a result, I was able to get an A on every paper. I would recommend this professor as he is a caring professor.

Professor Cremins is a wonderful professor! I wish I had him for English 101, but I was grateful enough to have him for 102. His lectures are very well thought out, and it is very clear what you have to do to get an A in the class. The papers are self-explanatory, and he gives a clear outline for each of them.

He is so amazing. He was so understanding and helpful when I fell behind due to an illness. He worked with me to set up a schedule to turn in assignments late for full credit even after they were supposed to be turned in already. If you are struggling in any way, just reach out to him and he'll help you out!

Seriously the best teacher ever. He was clear on the expectations on each paper, and goes over the formatting. Gives great feedback on each paper, which there is only really 5 papers, which are fairly easy. You are also able to send him a draft of your paper and will help you make it before the due date. Gives you 2 weeks to work on the paper.

Absolutely my favorite teacher at Harper College. He reads all of your essays thoroughly and gives amazing feedback and lots of praise. Professor Cremins makes all the hard work of writing an essay, worth it. His enjoyment of reading my essays and the criticism makes it all worth it. Taking his class is absolutely worth it. 1000/10 would take again

Cremins was an amazing professor, I received a lot of good feedback on my assignments and decided to take him again for my 102 class. I hate writing papers but he would choose interesting topics to write about.

Professor Cremins is by far one of the best English teachers that I have had. He is super passionate about his material. He always makes himself available for help when needed. Couldnt recommend taking his class more.

As long as you do everything he says, your papers will all be getting an 100%. He's funny and really understanding. He'll give you extra time if you need it. The only negative is that the writing prompts are pretty boring and I'd much rather not write about the same boring books and movies throughout the semester.

Dr Cremins is by far one of the best and nicest teachers I have had in my 2 semesters at Harper. Was willing to look at papers before I submitted them. Always available for office hrs when I asked. Helped me with my personal life too. Very understanding and kind teacher. TAKE HIM!!

Amazing guy, lectures are very interesting, material is easy, same as quizzes. A few essays, easy grader, gives amazing feedback. Make sure to follow with material, read the short stories and watch movies in class, everything is based on them.

Professor Cremins is an amazing teacher - super helpful and understanding. The class is engaging, with manageable essays. I found Unstuck ai great for prepping for exams.

Dr.Cremins's classes are very outgoing and he is a very approachable teacher and very nice. He is willing to help you succeed in the class in the best way possible. i would 100% retake his class and have him as my teacher gain!

Professor Dr.Cremins was amazing for ENG 101. He graded based off of how well you followed the directions and how clear your writing was in relation to the subject. If you aren't good at grammar or spelling, he did not take off points for that. Take his class, he's really caring and understanding.

Best english professor!! Seriously suggest taking his courses. I had Dr.Cremins for both 101 and 102, he was really kind and cared about his students wanting to write and do well in his class. He grades based off the content of your writing not the grammar mistakes.

He is the best English teacher I know, and I'm planning to take him for 102 in the spring. Man, I will miss him when it's all over. But without him, I would not be great at writing. He told me to take my time on the assignments and not to worry about the grammar. I remembered before I took him, I failed English 101 with different teacher and got D.
