awesome teacher, very interesting. nice views on the world. class is very exciting. you take a midterm, a final and then one big paper. all questions are handed out before tests, makes them very easy to prepare for. i would take his class again.
Amazing teacher, probably one of the best I've ever had. Keeps your hand racing on the notes, but keeps lectures interesting. Two short answer+essay tests, one major research essay. Keen, interesting, witty, and very open to discussion.
Not only is he your pal, but he is your most knowledgeable pal ever. Interesting, fluid and comprehensive course, esp. considering the huge amount of subject matter that it covers. The Perfect Prof.
Excellent teacher. Material is interesting, he has great humor, his study guides provide all possible test questions and he is quite fair. Will work with you if you have special issues.
Very easy to listen to, almost want to stay beyond class. He knows an incredible amount of information. Exams are easy + he gives u the questions beforehand. You'd have to be a moron to get anything less than an A.
Endless is a GREAT professor. He's one of the bets teachers at Loyola, take him if you can. No surpises on tests, only 1 paper. Very interesting class, not hard to make an A.
He's leftwing, I'm rightwing...but somehow, I agreed with 99% of what he said. I've never heard such fair treatment of pretty controversial material (Israel/Palestine). I agree, I wish this class was longer! Woah, never thought I'd say that! FANTASTIC!
Great teacher. Learned a bunch and takes things slow. Literally gives tests out a week before test date. Follow notes for research paper and you'll do fine.
Hands down, one of the most knowledgeful and greatest profs in the U.S. Take it from a guy who studies around the world. Gives an unbiased viewpoint and lets you know the facts. The guy is great for the critical thinkers.
Lectures are not bad;he is a very good lecturer, and very clear!Knows his stuff-he's witty, open to discussions, and willing to answer ANY question you could have. TAKE HIM - you will NOT regret it, i guarantee it!
like seriously he was the best teacher, yo. endless rocks mad style. he knows his s@*T!!!, and is a total hottie to boot! take his class, you'll learn a ton.
Wow, just wow. His class is so much fun! Never knew international politics was so much fun! His reviews for midterms and finals are so easy!! Nobody in his class fails, well only if they don't come to class and don't do anything! You'll love him! Witty, charming, funny, and helpful. You'll walk out of that class with a new perspective on the world.
Great, great, great...the guys knows what he is talking about. You get the questions for the midterm and final before the test, you have one term paper (that is an easy grade), and one current event presentation; there is no reason anyone should make anything lower than an A in this class.
GREAT teacher. Very knowledgeable, very fun.
Endless really is the man. The course is MUCHO helpful and MUCHO interesting if you want to understand IPE. Midterm and a final with a great study guide, and a research paper plus 2 shorter papers. Go to class and you will do all right and learn a ton. Endless kicks nutz
An all around awesome teacher. Very unbiased views about everything. Never enforced an attendance policy, but most people showed up anyways just to hear what he had to say about certain issues. Very open to discussions and simply amazing
What a class. Endless is very liberal, but you'd never know it. The man presents very honest, unbiased observations of our world and its various organizations that prevent it from falling apart. Go to class, take notes, and for God's sake LISTEN TO THIS MAN. He is very helpful, you write one paper, and exam questions are distributed. Have fun!
Endless is God. If you're a major, for goodness sake take this class. If you're not, take it anyways. He's smart, laid back, knows the material cold, and will make IPE your new favorite subject. WORK HARD on the short papers and reserach paper. One of THE BEST teachers at Loyola. Too bad they don't have him on permanent staff.

There's too much of a hype on this prof. but he is pretty smart.
Endless cuts through the crap. He exposes the simple, logical, direct beauty of economics and international theory and makes it coherent to his students extremely well. He's a little goofy. He's a little too proud of himself. But he's really an excellent, quirky, coherent teacher with a profound knowledge base and a worldly/unbiased view on econ.
I took him for the Model UN class, for International Political Economy and for Globalization, and I could not be more happy. He knows his stuff and is there for the students. He is bias (likes to be called a communist), but he admits to it, unlike most professors. I must take!!!!
Definately a good teacher, I suggest him for non-majors & majors alike. Although, in all of his lectures he relates politics to boating. I don't boat or anything, so sometimes he lost me with his use of nautical terminology. Other than that he's a great professor
Had Dr. Endless for globalization (300) and Relations of International economic something. he is a fantastic professor very clear goes on tangents but regardless it ties everything in with the real world take him if you have the chance
Professor Endless knows his stuff. He can make anything interesting by giving his own experience or some research that he did. He only gives 3 short essays, 1 research paper, a mid-term, a final, and a current event presentation. Really fun class.
Excellent professor. Whether or not you have any knowledge of international politics, he encourages and facilitates great discussions. As someone who previously had no interest in this subject, I left the class with a desire to read more about current world events.
Amazing profesor. Really knows his stuff. Fostered a lot of excellent class debate and discussion. Gives lots of opportunities for extra credit. One term paper, a midterm, a final, a current event presentation and 3 issues papers. Gives study guides for all tests. Extremely helpful when it comes to term papers/class questions.
I wasn't as enamored with Endless as some people are (the 9:20 in the morning class time might have had something to do with it), but he really knows his stuff. Use the book to do the study guide instead of his lecture notes and you'll do fine. He's at his best when he's explaining out of class events or material. Very nice and accessible.
This teacher is good. He is enthusiastic and knowledgeable on the subject. He is a little unstructured and very easily goes off on tangents. It is usually somewhat relevant to the subject material but we spend more time hearing stories than learning. Tests are based on the text book with clear study guides.
I can honestly say that Mr. Endless was my favorite professor by far! He presented the material very clearly. He was entertaining. Outside of class, he was very helpful. He is friendly in class, and outside of class, and he makes himself as available as possible. He gives a list of test questions, and anything on the test will be from that list.
Dr. Endless knows his stuff. He is a great guy and a fair grader. His lectures are some of the most stimulating I've had at Loyola. He is very quick with communication. Do yourself a favor and take a class with him!
One of the best professors i've had at Loyola. He really makes discussions fun, does not simply lecture at you but brings you into the discussion. 3 small papers, 1 final paper, 1 midterm and 1 final. Easy A, and very interesting even if you're not a PLSC major.
Endless is a genius. This is NOT an easy A class. This class made me work harder than I have ever had to work in my life for an A, but it taught me countless things, opened up my world into international law, and introduced me to one of the best professors on the planet. He will make you work, think, and learn. A lot of work, but highly recommended
Awesome, awesome professor. Hilarious with sarcastic humor that leaves you attentive for hours. Textbooks are mandatory. theres aton of things due like papers, projects, and presentations, and its not an easy A at all, but you get a study guide before all the exams so if you work at it for while, you can get an A.
Dr. Endless is absolutely fantastic - one of the best by far. It is actually fun to go to his class, and he is extremely helpful if you go to see him outside of class. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
He is As amazing as everybody else says he is, but they make it sound like his class is easy, which it is not at all. You will work a lot in his class but it's worth it.
Absolutely riveting, is passionate about the topic and loves to discuss current events. You don't have to read but you must be informed and take very detailed notes in exchange. Very friendly and loves answering your questions.
This class is so interesting. Endless is a great professor especially for this Genocide class. If you have the opportunity to take it do!. He makes time for each student and he is very prominent on campus.
Politics of Genocide was an extremely interesting class. We went off on huge tangents at least once per class. Endless is funny and entertaining, but also very knowledgable. He uses some humor to make it so you're not extremely depressed. 2 5-pagers, 1 10-pager, midterm and take-home final.
Not the easiest grader or the most organized prof but Endless is awesome! He clearly loves what hes doing and if I had the opportunity I would definitely take him again.
He is a nice guy, but I feel as though he is too political. What I mean by this is that if you are not extremely to the left you will feel awkward in his class. He also lets students run the class and he's not very organized. Good class though.
Brian's great for Model UN. It's a lot of work but not too difficult. The trip to NYC is a blast and totally worth the work and lack of sleep while there.
He wasn't the most organized professor and went on many tangents, but it was almost always an enjoyable class, and I feel like I learned a lot. It is difficult to get the most out of every class if you're not very involved in politics, but I managed. Attendance is taken randomly, and the grading is very easy.
Dr. Endless is awesome, he makes everything fun and super interesting, whether you're a poli sci major or not, if you have the chance, take his class!
Bendles is the best teacher ever! Everyone loves his class. Especially fun are when he chills with us... although he never wants to play soccer he will go eat with us :)
Bendles is a great teacher, lots of fun talk about the subject. Rabbit trails a plenty! He makes IR interesting and fun. If you study hard for tests and listen to the very explicit instructions on the assignments you'll get an A.
My favorite Prof DA BESTa lot of fun and cool guy very helpful plenty of extra credit opportunities & very interesting
Bendles is a master in friendship and karate. He will eventually form a step-mother like relationship with you. The only problem is sometimes he forgets to turn his swag off before he comes to class. And he arrives covered in ladies.
4 issue pprs(1-2 pgs, lowest grade drops), mid term&final. u get study guides w/Qs that are in the exams & he gives extra credit. An easy A if u do whats required.. Great teacher! Endless will make you learn & want to know more! He knows about world issues and their inside scoops. If you pay attention you'll get interested. Book for guides& review
BEST PROFESSOR EVER!!!!!!!!!!! Super nice and really helpful! 1 midterm, 1 final, a research paper, and a couple other assignments! TAKE HIM!!!!! YOU'LL BE SOO HAPPY YOU DID!!
Sets students up to succeed. Offers significant extra credit, grade is a term paper, 2 concept papers (choose from 5, can write 3 and drop worst grade), midterm and final (gives all possible questions, will put half on the test) Great teacher, very knowledgeable, content is very interesting. Lectures are enjoyable.
Awesome teacher! Loved his class; really sparked my interest in international relations. Great lectures despite the tangents, great presence in class and outside of class, great sense of humor. Class is enjoyable everyday, and you learn more than you think you are. Just overall a great professor- take him!
Overall, great teacher! One of the best I've ever had. He's really opened my mind to new ways of looking at political issues in the world. The class is easy as long as you take good notes, skim the readings well, and study the review guides he gives you. ENDLESS FOR PRESIDENT!
If you want a good grade, take this class. If you're seriously interested in internal political economy and want to learn the theory and practice- stay away from Dr. Endless. His classes are hardly more than informal conversations and its insulting how little he cares to comment on the 2 short (5-7p) papers and 1 long (10-12p) paper.
A bit overrated. His lectures are clear and engaging, but we often don't accomplish what he set out to do. He's fairly nice but, despite what he says, does not reply much back to emails. You learn more about current events than real international theory and relations. He also tends to take a long time to grade things. Overall he's pretty goodthough
One of the best professors I've ever taken! Taking this class has truly made me interested in international relations. He is truly a cool professor that you will learn a lot from. Overall, an excellent professor!!
This is NOT an EASY A class. It is a lot of work, and make sure you understand what you read otherwise there is no hope in getting an A. Highly recommended, if you are up for the challenge. 3 cases (pgs150+), one midterm, be a judge for 3 parts of a case, ( 11 questions per section 30+)and be an advocate for a case. HAVE FUN!!!
PLSC 353 Endless is one of the few good ones. He knows his stuff, is actively involved, and knows how to teach (and likes it)! The class isn't an easy A, but it is attainable, and worth it. Go to class, do the reading, and be thorough on your case. He even gives a study guide for the midterm. This is what college is supposed to be like.
He is an amazing professor and very helpful. Class is engaging and I have learned a lot of useful information in his class. The only problem is that he dislikes cats.
Endless makes class both EASY and ENGAGING. You will learn tons with him. Do the assignments on time and pay attention to lecture, all the test questions are given to you during that time, not from the book. Two textbooks are required. If you can, share them with someone else since you rarely use them.
Dr. Endless is phenomenal. So intelligent, and so engaging as well. I genuinely look forward going to his class - in fact, this intro course and his extensive knowledge of International Affairs, as he's a world renowned genocide expert, is what made me realize I want to go in to Politics. Hands down best teacher at Loyola.
Save yourself the trouble of reading anymore. Take him. You can thank me later
He is a really good teacher! The only problem was I took this class for core, and I had NO interest in the class whatsoever- I found it boring tbh. But if you enjoy these kinds of classes, definitely take him. He's a cool teacher and very down to earth. 3 short papers, midterm and final (questions are given, current event and final paper.
I always looked forward to class with Endless. Incredibly interesting topics and applies it to current world events. He even gives you all the possible questions that will be on the midterm final. Take good notes, do the papers, and study and you'll get an A no problem! Definitely take Endless
Learned a lot in this intro class. Goes on a lot of tangents, but it makes the class interesting and shapes it around the students' interests. not reading or writing intensive. gives questions to midterm and final ahead of time. knows so much and can give infoopinion on a lot of topics. highly recommend
Really cares about the material, and about making the world a better place. Good class discussions about ethics and philosophy. Funny stories. Meanders but gets away with it by being entertaining. Not clear in syllabus what he wants from papers, but if you ask clarifying questions, he'll answer them all. All around really enjoyed class.
Loved Dr. Endless! He can make everything (including IPE) interesting. He goes off on tangents sometimes, so you get a little behind on the syllabus but it doesn't really matter too much. Two short paper, one long one, midterm, and a final. I didn't read a ton but it helps with midterm/final questions, which he gives you before the test.
Great professor, has done so much work with Rwanda and is an extremely knowledgeable person
Honestly possibly the best professor I've ever had! Before his class I could not have cared less about political science, but Bendles is the man!!! He is hilarious, gives great lectures which are the perfect mixture of fun and free form class led discussions filled with tangents and incredibly insightful and informative, if you can take this class!
Amazing teacher! He is truly passionate about what he teaches about and wants students to care about relevant issues. Lectures are never boring, he does side track a lot but then always goes back to the point. 2 papers (about 7 pages each about the readings), midterm, and a group project. No final. He's also super chill. Take him if you can!!
Professor Endless is very clear and direct with what is on the midterm and final. He discusses most of the information in class, so it's crucial to attend class. You do have some in book questions and very little readings. Also, a research paper, but he's a pretty laid back grader just make sure to be as detailed as possible. The class is very fun!
Lots of tangents.
He's a nice guy who makes his lectures easy to listen to but he goes on a lot of tangents. They're usually interesting but when you get the study guide for the final and see that half the stuff on there was hardly even talked about in class, the tangents become a bit much. I did enjoy this class just wish he stuck to the material more.
I loved having Dr. Endless! He made class super interesting and always kept the students that showed up very engaged. He can connect to the material and more modern examples very well. He goes on a lot of tangents which is fine except the Final Exam had info we hardly covered. But he gives the questions before which makes it okay.
Incredibly cool guy. He encourages you to contact him outside of class, even if it's to talk about things other than politics. Very discussion-based and the class takes the shape of what the students want to talk about, even if that means going a little off the syllabus, but he tailors the tests to the students' interests. Don't expect to get an A.
Endless is a great professor however only take him if your a political science major. PLSC 102 is offered as tier 1 core class but he makes it very difficult if you don't have previous experience in the political science field. Its honestly not his fault though, Loyola should not put this on their core class list. Take intro to sociology :)
Dr. Endless is a great guy with an amazing personality but talks rarely about the subject he is teaching and more about off topic info that is not necessary. His class is great to be in but when it comes to the mid term and final all the questions were never discussed and you literally are on your own. I would not take him again.
My favorite professor by far, he made me realize what I want to do with my life.
ENDLESS IS GOD. I took him for 3 classes and wish I had time for a 4th. He's helped me see political science from a more critical, global perspective. He knows an intelligent student when he sees one. The amount of writing can be a challenge, but if you put in the work, attend his lectures, and show him you care about the material, you'll do well.
Dr. Endless is one of (if not) the best professor in the political science department. EVERYONE take capitalism and its discontents with him! this is a great current events class with insightful resources on how and why the world works the way it does. He is FUNNY, and makes a difficult topic simplified and easy to understand. Ill miss him!
Dr. Endless is AMAZING. He is so knowledgeable on Africa and I've learned more in this honors course than I have in any other. He's super funny and as long as you can write a good essay, you'll get an A.
Take him. Expect lots of tangents that are fascinating though may not be relevant for the test.
His lectures are a little bit all over the place, so if you struggle with that i would not recommend him. Otherwise, he is amazing! He gives great insight and information on things you would never usually hear about. It is obvious he is passionate about the subject but he also wants you to do well.
Dr. Endless shared his friendly attitude in the classroom. This made him approachable and the class quite enjoyable! I wish we spent more time on the UN, but do not regret the attention to detail about Iran!
I do not recommend this class, this is not an easy class. It is a ton of reading, you have to write 2 case outlines, be a judge for a case and advocate for a case. Overall you are reading at least 200 pages per case. He also is not good at lecturing, he is always going off on tangents and in a typical class over half is him on a tangent.
Bendles is such a cool guy, he really makes his classes enjoyable and allows for open discussion to be had, really lets you get your opinion out there. His lectures are a little over the place, but gives you a study guide for exams and pulls the questions directly from there.
Bendles is the man. Genocide was admittedly a depressing class topic but he made it bearable and it ended up being my favorite class that semester. Don't expect the class to be uplifting (just based on the subject material) but every class with Dr. Endless is always enjoyable.
Bendles has a wide knowledge base, especially about Africa and the Middle East, and he tailored discussions and tests to our interests. Class isn't hard, but he seems reluctant to give A+'s out on papers, so I never felt I had a comfy A. It's tough if you have limited knowledge on Intl Politics to begin with, but he's good at explaining the basics.
An amazing person! He has lived a fascinating life, and he is the funniest prof. A real gem, he is a good lecturer and a fair grader. You have to work for your grade at times, but he is super available for questions, and you can tell he really cares. Take him if you can, he made online class enjoyable and had me looking forward to it.
Bendles is an amazing professor and a great choice for an Honors class. He is extremely intelligent and knowledgeable in all things Africa and is always more than willing to help students. If you keep up with the readings, participate, and can write a good paper, you'll do well in his class. He's also hilarious and tells great stories!
Endless was my favorite professor this semester! He is fascinated and has great stories, and a unique perspective on a lot of issues. He doesn't grade easy, but is very willing to help. One 5 minute pres, 3 super easy mini papers, 1 research paper and 2 tests. Lots of extra credit opportunities. Definitely take him!
Endless was my introductory professor to Loyola's Political Science program and from day one I knew that the class was going to be incredible. He is a quippy, outstanding lecturer who isn't afraid to put you on the spot to make sure you know you're stuff. If you keep with the readings and give yourself time for that research paper, you'll get an A.
Great professor that keeps you engaged. Not a class where you dose off cause you it bores you. Professor goes on tangents that are funny and relatable keeping you engaged. Grade depends on reading and writing. Class is more so just talking about world news, current event projects, and tangents which make it really fun to attend. Would def recommmen
This class was okay. The content was interesting and pretty easy to engage in class. Just be ready to write a lot of papers! Put in the time and you'll do well- but you'll have to put in the time.
This professor truly knows what he talking about, he is really cool and good to have if you actually care about IR. He prepares you well for the tests (literally just memorized his study guide and I got an A), and his papers are easy. Do the extra credit opportunities he gives you (it is not hard at all). Tend to off topic but its good discussions.
Professor Endless has been one of my favorite professors by far. His lectures are far from boring, and any questions are always welcome. If you show up to the class and put in some effort, you should be fine. He gives very clear criteria for all papers, and gives good feedback on each.
Dr. Endless is your stereotypical 300+ level professor. He's super chill and flexible with deadlines and gives 0 busy work, but knows so much about the subject he teaches! Be ready to participate in class discussions. This class had a 5-minute presentation, 3 short papers, and a 10 page research paper. Would definitely recommend!
Peak professor.
Professor Endless is an engaging lecturer. There are no slides for the class, and he is prone to going off tangents. If you prefer slides and clear organization, this might not be the class for you. Class participation will be very helpful, and you can always bring questions. Keep up with the readings and stay on track with the papers!
I personally did not love Prof Endless. His class is super easy so def take him if that's what you're looking for. I felt like I didn't learn much, there was very little structure or planning for the course. However, he is very knowledgeable so if you just want to hear some educated dude ramble about random things this is the class for you.
If you're actually trying to learn the course material, this isn't the professor for you. He often goes on unrelated tangents and keeps you guessing for answers rather than providing you with material that will be on exams. He's funny for sure, but not the greatest in terms of actually teaching.
Bendles is my fav prof at LUC bc he doesn't do lecture slides and I don't do lecture notes in non-STEM classes. Genocide was v heavy but he kept moods up with humor and tangents so nobody jumped out of windows. Grades are mostly writing based, exams might be take-home, he grades tough always but gives good comments. HE WILL HELP YOU IMPROVE PAPERS!
Live Laugh Love bendles. Best professor ever. Really hard class but you learn a lot. Don't regret taking it
Brian is so cool and so easy and fun to listen to, I highly recommend. Class is very interactive and often revolves around class discussions, so prepare to talk and be apart of it. He doesn't have many assignments so make sure to do your readings and make sure you know about all the authors and articles and books. Brian makes class very enjoyable
his humor is belittling students.
Endless enjoyed playing games of asking questions where he thinks there is only one right answer and the right answer is his own answer. He constantly talks down to students, which he thinks is funny, and stopped following the syllabus. His Class was super easy but sitting through endless sessions about irrelevant material was endlessly boring.
His class was super fun, engaging, and funny. If you're a stickler for the textbook or syllabus, don't take him. He talks about random stuff half the time, but most of it is relevant to international relations, like current events. The criticisms I've seen on here are somewhat fair, so just be prepared. Very knowledgable and interesting guy overall
He was a cool guy, he loves what he does and you can see it when he teaches. His lectures are long but are always engaging with his humor. He is a tough grader so be prepared for the midterm, the final, and the research paper. I had no problems with him.
Great professor! Very personable and understanding. Course load was very manageable.
Professor Bendles is the reason I switched my major. I loved this class so much- so fascinating and something new every day. He comes in with a seemingly very vague idea of an itinerary and yet still covers so much relevant and important info. A couple of short, 2 page papers, 1 oral presentation, 2 online exams, and a few in-class debates.
If you're a poli sci upperclassman who has put off taking PLSC 102, I would probably take this class with someone else. If you're anyone else, I think you'll enjoy this class. I think this class does a good job of getting freshmen interested in going further in PLSC which is always great.
He begins the class by saying we won't always follow the syllabus, he is right. I didn't find this an issue at all because he is so smart and engaging. Just take notes on what he lectures. Perfect for people who have no background in politics, he'll answer ANY question no judgment. He's so funny too, I never had a problem going to class. Great man
Endless is very intelligent, a nice guy and genuinely cares about his students. The type of professor who you would include in a hypothetical smoke circle. But, his loose approach towards lectures, and lack of discipline led me to not learn much about Africa. More readings, more structure, and higher expectations of the students was warranted.
Take him if you truly want to learn. He helps you connect to the outside world and current politics with a unbiased and very educated perspective. Funny and very tuned into student wants and allows students to help guide the class.
Professor Endless is a cool guy who usually goes on tangents during class. His grading is fair; however, it is tough to get an A. His midterm is online and open note. His final is a 7-page research paper, which is not that hard if you allow yourself time to do it. I would take his class again.
Endless is very smart and has lot of experience with the subject matter. He loves a tangent or to tell a story. The structure of the lectures is...minimal, but you learn a lot regardless. He wants you to engage with the material, wants you to ask questions, and wants you to challenge what he says and what you read (it is a lot of reading).
Endless is a great professor and I will definitely take him again. As a political science major whose main area of study is not international, this class was very easy. You have a midterm/final and a few short essays + one long one at the end of the term, but he is a relatively easy grader as long as you follow directions. Show up to class though.
Prof Endless is great, very funny and cool person and good at making lectures interesting. The lectures aren't super structured, with a lot of tangents, but you still learn a lot. There is a required presentation so be prepared for that, but it's easy. I definitely recommend, it's not the easiest class but rewarding.
he is a very easy grader and very knowledgeable about the class. the content of the course is very interesting and keeps you engaged. lots of reading for homework, class discussions over 3 books, 1 midterm, optional final. hes very full of himself, but other than that hes a great professor and HONR 210B (africa) is a super easy class.
Endless knows a lot about Africa but can go off on tangents. His lectures do not have slideshows, which makes it a bit difficult to take notes. You can skip the weekly readings if needed but definitely read the three novels. He is a pretty easy grader when it comes to writing. Attendance and participation are pretty important.
I really enjoy endless and his classes they are super interesting, be aware there is a lot of papers and the class is a little unorganized material wise but he is a fair grader and everything we learn is always so insightful. This was a heavy class but he was able to make it light hearted when need be.
The professor is knowledgeable and engaging, but the class can be unstructured at times. Attendance is mandatory, and the textbook is used. While easy, the course may not provide the depth some students seek. unstuckstudy proved helpful for study prep.
Take Dr. Endless!! This is the easiest class I've taken at Loyola. His grading is fair on both exams and papers. All exams are online, there are no quizzes, and the bi-weekly papers are manageable. He keeps the class engaging and enjoyable—it's one you don't have to stress about during the semester.
I really like him and this class, my biggest problem is just that he doesn't have any rubrics or guidelines for any of the papers. I got an A- or B+ on like every paper with little feedback which got really frustrating. My best advice is to just follow the prompt as literally as you can and answer every part of the question equally
Very knowledgable guy who enjoys the presence of his students. Straightforward written assignments.
Ya just take him. A lot of his classes are shaped by his own experiences in Africa which I think is super unique. He structures the class so well and it is very manageable to do. He is super reasonable & caring - gave me an extension on paper when I was out of town. Very accessible outside of class too.
Love him. He's very clear on what he expects from you and gives amazing feedback when asked. His classes are mostly made up of talking about whatever's on his mind so it makes up for interesting lectures. Both the final and midterm are take home so you're not graded on anything in class other than attendance, participation, and a presentation.
Endless is a super passionate and intelligent professor. Lectures were more of a class discussion and while there were required readings, we often got sidetracked on some other interesting topic. All assignments are writing and research essays. Very interesting class but emotionally distressing at times. Class could really use more structure tho
Bendles is a great professor. He tries to make his classes very engaging and encourages side talks (mostly about the topics related in class). He is super chill and mostly grades on papers, but definitely book heavy (you are required to read/purchase many books for this class). Overall, great prof!
Super fun and easy grader
