Dr. Feltman is a great guy, I would recommend his class to anyone in the History dept.
Very clear teacher. Attendance is not mandatory, and the tests are very easy as long as you somewhat know the stuff. Three tests, three book/article reviews and a syllabus quiz are the only grades.
Makes History exciting! Lecture is a grand story that you CAN NOT miss because if you do you will be in trouble. There is no way to learn from the books what he teaches. Don't miss a class, take it seriously, be prepared and you will make a good grade. Lots of information, but he is the best teacher I have ever had! TAKE HIM
Take him!!! Really good teacher and knows what he is talking about! Attendance isn't mandatory but GO to class you need to hear the lectures. Three test, three article reviews and a syllabus quiz. If you have questions go to office hours it helps! Has both multiple choice and essay option for each exam.
He is honestly one of the greatest teachers I've ever had. He is so passionate about his work and makes his class interesting. I highly recommend Professor Feltman.
Dr. Feltman is absolutely incredible. I took his World War II class and thoroughly enjoyed it. His lectures are very gripping and interesting and flow like one long story. Attendance is optional, but you won't want to miss his class. Tests are written, and there is a research paper. But an A is possible if you attend class and do the readings.
Love Dr. Feltman. He is so passionate about history and even if you hate it, you can't help but be interested. The tests are so straightforward. There are 4 article/book review assignments, but they're only 1 page so easy. 2 tests and final. movie review extra credit and attendance extra credit available. Attendance not mandatory but you need to go
Feltman is a great teacher! He knows the information and makes it very interesting. Make sure you do the article reviews and go to class. He gives you the choice to either take a multiple choice or essay exam. I did better on the essay. If he gives you the option for extra credit do it and go to his office hours. Really nice teacher, take him!
One of the best professors I've had at Southern. Very passionate about teaching and makes everything interesting! I loved taking this class and he made me want to learn the material. If you go to class and take notes the tests are easy! I definitely recommend this professor! I hate history but loved this class!
One of my favorite teachers so far. Just go to his class, take good notes and read the online materials and two novels he assigns and you'll do just fine. Highly recommend him.
He is by far the best history professor ever! I was nervous about not having powerpoint notes, but I have never done so well by a professor just lecturing. He makes his lectures interesting and the exams are easy. Do the Reading Responses! They are easy and you will receive an A. I would advise going to class everyday. He gives out extra credit too
My favorite teacher I've had at Georgia Southern. I actually looked forward to going to his class. If you go to class, getting an A is not hard. His tests are word for word from your notes. So go to class and it's an easy A!
Dr. Feltman is by far the best professor I've had at Georgia Southern. Before taking his class I wasn't interested in history at all, and now I love it. You will learn a lot from his lectures. Class isn't mandatory, but he will give extra credit for going. 3 test, 4 reading responses. Very easy to receive an A.
Dr. Feltman was great! He was clear and helpful in his online lectures and his grading policy is good as well. Not sure how he runs non-online courses, but it seems knows exactly what he is doing! 6 out of 5 stars!
This class was harder than it should have been. You watch 60 minute lectures. Then, have 7 minutes to take a 5 question quiz, but then you have to write a 1 page essay about the reading. He gives you advice on your essay, but you basically have to read his mind in order to make an A. I can't say that I learned anything from this class.
Feltman was the most difficult grader I have ever come across. The course requires lots of attention and papers. I followed his directions specifically and he would still find something wrong. He is not good at explaining what he wants out of you in advance and penalizes you for not reading his mind. Disliked the class.
His class was quite time consuming, but not overly difficult. The problem is 75% of your grade for the online version of his class is based on essays. If you dont have the time or arent a good writer, this will be challenging. Overall, i think hes a fair grader and really challenges you to understand the historical significance of something.
Feltman is a FANTASTIC professor. He loves what he does and his enthusiasm is contagious. Don't be deceived by his pure awesomeness. His tests are not extremely easy. As long as you study a little and keep up. You will be fine. I defiantly recommend him.
Thus far, my favorite teacher. He is an amazing teacher. Sometimes he goes along with the material a little too fast, but if you as him, he'll try to slow down. GO TO HIS OFFICE HOURS AND TALK TO HIM!! YOU WILL GET AN A!! You have 3 extra credit opportunities worth 3 pts to final grade, 4 papers, and 3 test including the final. Loved his class!
Best professor I have ever had at GSU. His test come straight from the notes. Memorize the key terms and you'll make an A. He lectures are actually interesting to listen to and his grades fairly easy on the reading responses. I would take him over any other history professor. Worth getting an override into his class.
Very good professor with charisma and is very passionate about this course. Great teacher to have
Dr. Feltman was the best professor I've had so far. In a class of 200 students, he knew my name because I put in effort. Go to office hours and do the extra credit, and listen in lecture! He is very understanding. If you need help on an assignment or start to get overwhelmed during the semester, just go talk to him.
Great teacher. Get ready to take a ton of notes. Attendance isn't mandatory but if you skip you will definitely miss extremely valuable information. Listen closely to everything he has to say. If you write down everything he emphasizes and look over for 10 minutes a day before the test you'll be just fine. No trouble having success in this class.
He is a great professor. As long as you are at every lecture the tests are super easy. Tests are based off key terms that he posts. Just take notes on the key terms and you will get an A on the test. No textbook to buy. Two online readings before each class, but he talks about them in class so you do not have to read them. Would take again,
Dr. Feltman is an awesome professor. His class was by far one of the most interesting and enjoyable I've taken at GSU. There is a good bit of reading, which is to be expected in a history class, so be prepared. Also, he is a nit-picky grader when it comes to papers, so be sure to follow all instructions. I would still highly recommend him.
I loved taking Dr. Feltman's class. I absolutely hate history but Dr. Feltman made it a lot easier to deal with. I recommend taking him for any history course that he teaches. He loves what he is doing and is always willing to help. Make sure you go to class and read the assigned readings and you will get an A.
was a great teacher. attendence isnt mandatory but his lectures are so great i didnt even mind going everyday. is very into what he teaches so he makes this lectures interesting
I loved Dr. Feltman! He makes history very interesting, and as long as you come to class and take good notes, you will do just fine. He gives you chapter outlines of the major events that you need to pay attention to during lecture when he mentions them. Holds study sessions before each test and will go over any event that you might not have gotten
Didn't need this class for any sort of credit. Had I take him earlier in my college career, I might would have a history minor. Such an amazing professor! You learn a lot, & the course material is interesting anyway. Be prepared to read and discuss.
Dr. Feltman is awesome! I've never been much of a history person but he makes it so interesting. I won't say that his class is easy, but if you show up to every class, take good notes, and listen to his lectures, there's no reason you shouldn't pass. There's weekly readings and they help a lot when it comes to studying for the tests. Take him!!
I have always HATED history and could never put anything in order. Dr. Feltman has made European history very clear and I could even tell you a few things off the top of my head about a couple different eras. His lectures are very interesting and it gets him pumped so it is fun to listen to. TAKE HIM!
Dr. Feltman was an awesome professor. His lectures were extremely engaging and the 75 minute class would feel like 20 minutes. If you take him be prepared to write, but he grades fairly and gives excellent feedback. If you have the opportunity to take a class with Feltman, take it up.
He doesn't require a book so all of the information you learn is from the lectures aka you have to go to class. With that said, he is an awesome teacher and I actually didn't mind going to his class. He's engaging so it's not hard to pay attention. Replies to emails and grades tests really quickly! Like in the gradebook same day. 100% do recommend
Great guy! Makes history a little more interesting. Study his powerpoints and handful of readings assigned and you will be good for the test. Final isnt cumulative, and he provides 5 points worth of extra credit. I Bombed the 1st test because I didnt study enough but would have made an A otherwise.
The lectures are very interesting, You get 10 points for not missing more than 3 days. I was not required to buy a textbook just a TopHat membership which was like 35 bucks. He will meet with you to review exams and is there for his students when they have questions.
Awesome! I hate history, but he made the class so interesting. He loves feedback throughout his lectures. Allowed 3 days to be absent and anything after that, he deducts a small amount of points. There were 3 tests and then the final. All were easy long as you came to class, took decent notes, and then know the key terms!
Loved him! His lectures were great and I was actually interested in what was going on. He makes everything clear and his test are so easy. Take him!
Great professor but your grade is based solely on tests (mainly) and attendance. 3 midterms and 1 final. Only take this class if you are prepared to study hard. 6 extra credit opportunities but they are only worth 1 point each.
4 exams thats it. 70-80 percent is based on notes so show up everyday and take good notes. some light online reading (which is a blessing in a history class) but not bad that some exam questions are taken from. Very awesome professor all in all. Has a great passion for what he teaches and keeps class interesting. Would take him again for sure.
Professor Feltman makes grading criteria clear from day one. Attendance is mandatory, but it helps boost your grade. Amazing history lectures that are actually interesting. Tests come straight from notes. As long as you go to class, take notes, and study it's an easy A.
He's really funny. Lectures are long and boring, especially if you aren't interested in history. You can do 2/3 extra credit assignments. Tests are multiple choice, or you can choose essay. DO YOUR READINGS!!!!!!! Readings are important don't blow them off. Take notes off what he is saying. Tophat is used for slides. No textbook
I have never rated a professor before, so this should mean something... Dr. Feltman is the BEST history teacher I have EVER taken!!! If you have the opportunity to take him..... DO IT. I have never gotten A's on my tests before. His lectures are so easy to follow along too and they correlate to his tests perfectly.
Feltman is an amazing professor and he cares about the students who want to do well. No textbook but he assigns short online readings. He posts his slides online but all the test information comes out of his mouth so you really do need to go to class, but that's fine because his lectures are fun to sit through. Take him if you can, 10/10.
He is beyond one of the best professors at Georgia Southern. He tries to make the class engaging and fun and his test are straightforward from his notes, he doesn't try to trick you. Easy A especially if you took European History in high school.
Hands down the most amazing professor I've had, and I'm and Exercise Science major. He teaches the class as of its just one long ongoing story and it is wonderful. Not a lot of grades so be sure you over prepare for the first exam or it'll come back to bite you in the butt! 10/10 recommend this man if you ever get the chance. He's the best!!
He is a nice guy but his tests are very hard. I pay attention in class while taking notes but the tests are still difficult. Also, I emailed him asking 2 questions and did not get a clear answer on either, which was no help.
Professor Feltman is one of my favorite teachers ever! His lectures are amazing because he made a world history class seem like story time. He is such a good teacher because he cares about his students even in a lecture hall and he teaches so well you remember all of the information and then when it's time to take the test you barely have to study
I LOVED HIM! He made history so interesting and the tests were so easy! Definitely take him!
Feltman was an amazing Professor. He makes the material easy.. gives extra credit.. and his tests are so easy. He never tries to trick you.
Pretty easy class just study and do the readings.
Nice and funny. No textbook, but daily readings provided on folio (which you don't have to read because he just covers the main points during lecture). He gives you a list of every topic that will be on the exams. Only grades are exams. Option for each exam to write an essay (hard) OR do mc exam (piece of cake). Take him if you can!
Really great professor, makes history interesting. The readings can be annoying but the class is not hard. You are only graded on exams and attendance
I hate history but I loved this class. he makes the lectures really interesting and tells his own personal stories. he likes to engage with his students to try and make it more enjoyable. the exams are extremely easy. You get to choose either essay or multiple choice and I always did the multiple choice because it is just so easy. HES FANTASTIC!
LOVED HIM! Take him if you can! Best professor I have ever had! He is the reason why I changed my major to history. He is willing to help outside of class. His lectures are awesome, and really make you want to learn more about history. I really enjoyed his class, and HIGHLY recommend.
Really great professor. I've always hated history and never got an A in a history class, but he made me love it. Loves to have class conversation. 70% lecture 30% reading material for his exams but I always read all the readings the night before the exam and made A's on all of them. Have to look at the readings though. Uses tophat for attendance
If you do the readings and attend all his lectures you will pass all his test! He makes you fall in love with history and ACTUALLY makes it interesting. He is the best history professor I have ever taken.
I have never rated a professor before, but I will say he is my favorite professor at Georgia Southern. I'm a Fashion Major so clearly NOT history but i love his class so much I actually got upset one day when i had to miss it. If you are considering taking his class please do... you will NOT regret it!!
Dr. Feltman made the class interesting and presented the material in a way we would all understand. Attendance is mandatory and taken with Tophat. If you show up to class and take notes, and understand the main ideas from each reading in folio, you'll do fine.
One of the best professors I have had at Georgia Southern. He has a very good personality and makes history seem interesting. Tests are easy since he gives you a sheet with things to know. No textbook in this class. I would recommend for sure and I would take him again if I could.
You have to be good at just listening to a lecture and understanding the material, cause all he does is talk. All you can do is take notes from what you hear. He doesn't really go back and explain either. You have to study your notes, and go off of the terms lists he gives you right before the test. He is a very different history prof
Hands down the best teacher I have ever had at Georgia Southern. The way he teaches and lectures makes you want to listen and come to class everyday. The only grades are the 4 tests, and he gives you study guides of key terms before every test. All I did to study was fill in the study guide and I got A's on every test. This dude is the bomb
Fantastic. Makes lectures interesting. No textbook - uploads readings to folio, but he goes over them in class so don't bother reading them. Tests are easy as long as you take notes. You only get 3 absences but you need to go to class to pass because a lot of material is covered in one class. Only grades are 4 tests.
Loved taking Feltman! He was super interesting which you dont always get with history professors, and very funny. I wouldnt say hes an easy a because there are only 4 test and attendance grade. But if you listen to his lectures and go to class its great!
I hated history before taking Feltman. His lectures are awesome and allow you to truly understand history instead of dates just being thrown at you. You can tell he really cares about his students, take him!!!!!
Best professor I have taken here at Georgia Southern. Im genuinely going to miss his lectures and might even consider sneaking into his classes in the future. His lectures are interesting and captivating. He makes it very easy to be successful in his class and even records and uploads his lectures. HIGHLY Recommend!!!
I loved Dr. Feltman! Best professor I've ever had. His lectures are so interesting. I have never entered a classroom so excited to listen to a lecture. He tells history like its all drama and a fun story. Take any of his classes and I promise you will enjoy the lecture. He is very understanding and really takes student feedback into consideration.
I thought he was a fantastic professor. Show up take notes and it is an easy A. He really cares about the learning of students also.
Dr. Feltman is truly one of a kind. He turns a boring subject into one that is quite interesting. You can miss up to 3 days before it impacts your grade, but I advise attending class anyway because he lectures heavy. Expect 3-5 pages of notes each class. My favorite history professor by far!!!!
Overall great teacher, and perfect course structure. Keeps all material to an intro level standard. Tests are pretty similar to the lectures, key terms are pretty accurate, and gives an interesting lecture each meeting.
This is the only professor that I ahve ever take the time out of my day to rate. He deserves it though because he is very intelligent and makes class interesting. Thoroughly enjoyed his class. Take decent notes and study key terms, and you will be in great shape.
Dr. Feltman's lectures are amazing and packed with valuable information. This should be a required course for everyone.
Dr. Feltman is very passionate and funny. He keeps the sad stuff light and cares about his students, making an actual effort to learn everyone's names and connect with them. Truly an amazing professor who I wish taught every class. A few tests and quizzes, one project and our final was a take home essay with a prompt provided in the syllabus.
Awesome professor! Attendance is not mandatory, but you do need to find time to watch the lectures (he always uploads them). Readings are online so you don't have to buy a textbook. He offers review sessions before every exam and the tests are super easy if you study. You can tell he truly cares about his students/history in general.
He is a great professor. With things being online, you need to be prepared to watch lectures outside of class. If you take the time to watch them and take notes you will do great in the class. Attendance wasn't mandatory, but he is more willing to help you out if you attend class. Tests aren't terribly hard. Definitely recommend.
I highly recommend taking this professor!!! The way he lectures every topic is so interesting and you can tell he is really passionate about history. His class consists of quizzes on readings which are really easy as long as you understand the meaning. He also has 4 exams which are fairly easy if you watch all the lectures he posts.
I loved this professor! His class consists of him lecturing, but hes got a great spirit so its really not that bad at all. He does take attendance, but even if you do skip, I wouldnt recommend it. To take notes, you have to listen to what hes saying and write down what you think is important. The exams arent hard either, as long as you study.
Dr. Feltman's class layout is strictly lecture and readings on your own but is honestly the most I have ever learned in a history class. He is very passionate about what he does and lectures are very entertaining. Amazing class and great professor. 11/10 recommend.
Highly recommend
Only exams . So test heavy
I enjoyed Dr. Feltman's class, the lectures were long but as long as you listened and took notes it is an easy A. The class is based on test grades, no homework. He does give extra credit if you want to help your grade. He made the class very interesting and enjoyable.
He takes attendance on top hat which requires a code & uses geolocation to determine your location to make sure youre really there. Theres no homework. Just read the readings/take notes, youll be fine. Only 3 exams & a final. After 3 absences, he takes 2 points off your grade each class you miss.
I absolutely loved professor feltman! He is hilarious and very light hearted. He doesnt require a text book and all of his readings are online! He does require attendance, however he does give you some absences throughout the semester. He is very conversational, & made class very enjoyable. Wish I could take him again! Its impossible not to pass.
does attendance on top hat -- worst attendance app ever it always messes up!! He seems like a great guy but I think his rating is a little too high. You only have 3 exams, no quizzes or homework so the exams could make or break u which sucks, overall would take it again but glad I won't have to.!!!!
Professor Feltman was one of my favorites this semester! He is lecture heavy but makes it fun by relating it to our lives today and giving examples. He is always lightening the mood with joke and I 10/10 recommend his class!!
Easy A. It is only three exams but if you study you can easily get high A's on all exams. The final is not cumulative. It is a very lecture-heavy class so go to class and take notes. He does take attendance on top hat. He is a funny guy and enjoys teaching. I recommend taking him for a GPA-boosting.
Professor Feltman is awesome! He is super funny and makes World History fun to learn. I was engaged for the entire class. You have to read a bit because some exam questions come from the readings and he will reference them in lectures. The exams are multiple-choice. If you go to class and pay attention, it's very easy to get an A.
Great and EASY professor! He only has 4 exams, attendance and a bonus thats due at the end of the semester. His exams are fairly easy and they are taken in class on your laptop, 50 ?'s. The exams aren't meant o trick you so if you study and take them seriously & come to class, you'll definitely pass! TAKE HIS CLASS!!!! (He has great lectures too!)
Professor Feltman is an incredible professor. He really cares about students doing well and is always talking about his availability for office hours. He knows the material exceptionally well since he's been teaching it for 16 years. His powerpoints are just photos, and you have to listen to what he says so it's essential to be good at note-taking.
I really liked Professor Feltman, he was funny, outgoing, and super interactive with the class. However this class is a lecture class and you have to just listen to his lectures to take notes. I personally can't learn that way so I struggled. There are also a lot of online reading assignments that are on all of the exams. Attendance is mandatory.
I loved this class!! Prof Feltman is very interactive and his lectures are very entertaining. There are online readings before each class that are on the exams. If you miss a class, you miss a lot of info. He gives extra credit and is very open about his office hours, and responds to emails. Prof Feltman is great, HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
Chill guy!
Brian Feltman is a great professor! Taking his class encouraged me to change my major to history. His lectures are very engaging and hilarious. Attendance is mandatory but I promise it's worth it. His only grades in the class are tests, so if you're a bad tester be aware of that. Get ready to read because he assigns readings for every class.
Great professor who cares about his students. You can tell he wants everyone to succeed. The class consisted of 4 tests so it is test heavy but the tests are straight forward and not very difficult. If you pay attention in lecture and take good notes his class is easy. He makings things interesting and if funny. 10/10 would take his class again.
I got a B but that's bc I didn't study enough. His lectures are great and attendance is mandatory. There are readings to do so make sure you read them. The tests are most of the grade but they aren't hard. Def take him if you can
This is one of the best professors I have ever taken, so good he convinced me to change my major to history. Very accessible outside of class and truly cares about your success as a student. You have 4 exams and 5 quizzes, and his lectures are very engaging. Overall, I would recommend him to everyone and hope I can take another one of his classes!
I took History 112 with Professor Feltman over this past Summer, and while the class was only focused on quizzes and tests, the instructions and grading criteria were clearly written in his syllabus. He is very caring for his students and he answers his emails fast. I would definitely take him again down the road!
This dude is awesome. His notes are in picture form, (no bullet point slides), but he does explain the material very well. If you missed something in class, he has previous videos from years before that'll help you stay caught up in his class. Attendance is recorded.
Absolutely amazing professor, the best I've ever had. He knows his content very well, and all lectures are recorded for reference. There are a few tests to take and a short paper that you have months to prepare for and work on. Always accessible. Would give a 6/5 if I could.
Dr. Feltman gives great lectures and encourages his students to question him, to not just accept his authority. If you're worried about your grades, meet with him during his office hours, he will do the calculation in front of you, and recommend steps to follow. His lecture slides are only pictures, so it's sometimes easy to miss content.
Dr. Feltman is one of my favorite professors. He is very relaxed with class but still teaches very well. He managed to keep a holocaust class respectful yet still interesting. The other day I passed him and he waved, and I've only had the one class with him, so he's also just an all around nice guy.
Professor Feltman is just a great guy. He has such a talent for teaching, he explains things so clearly and makes things sound more interesting than they sometimes are. His lecture slides are only pictures, so you have to go to class and listen or take notes. I would not recommend skipping bc you'll miss a lot of content. He loves when ppl ask q's.
I really Dr Feltman's class. His lectures were detailed and you can tell he truly cares about teaching history properly. Test are literally just knowing the key terms so study those. Also the quizzes are open notes and there is no reason you shouldn't make 100. Come to class, use your notes/readings for quizzes/test and you will get an easy A.
He's a great professor and teaches history in a interesting way. Class is very test heavy so you need to study to pass. There are five quizzes to do other than the exams. He also assigns online readings to do before the lectures.
These ratings do not lie! Dr. Feltman is so incredibly nice and makes lectures as fun as he can! Even though the class is big, he really tries to get to know as many people as he can. Tests and quizzes are pretty easy, but make sure you do your readings! He is definitely one of the best History professors I have ever had.
For this class being over an hour long it is quite impressive how he keeps the attention of almost 200 students at a time. The tests really aren't that hard at all if you go over the readers and ASK QUESTIONS. He will literally tell you what you should know if you just ask him. There are 4 tests and 5 quizzes total and he offers extra credit!
Dr. Feltman is a wonderful professor who teaches his class through lectures. He gives many readings, but you must read them because they're on the exams. Three exams, a final, and some quizzes make up your grade. Take good notes, listen, and do the readings, and you'll be good. I definitely didn't study as much as I should have for this course.
Great personality and gives engaging lectures! Overall, he gave six quizzes, three writing assignments (5-7 pages long, but you only had to do two of them), and a character assignment at the end (4 single spaced pages). He is very thorough with his grading, and wants you to use your sources; that was my downfall into getting a B instead of an A.
He is hot, passionate, and funny. What more could you ask for...
Best professor i have ever taken in my life. Dude's a chiller.
Professor Feltman makes history engaging. Lectures are informative, and he's eager to answer questions. Focus on the key terms, use Unstuck study for study prep, and you'll do well.
Go to class and study a little and you'll get an A. Dr. Feltman is real cool.
Funny professor with fun lectures. Attendance is taken on TopHat app. Costs like $33. If you skip class you will not pass exams. Everything on exams is covered in lectures. Straightforward, multiple choice exams that don't try to trick you. If you pay attention in the slightest you shouldn't get less than a B. I didn't study once.
His lectures were fun! The work you do for this class is reflective of what you learn, and is an appropriate amount of work for being an online class. Take things at your own pace, but I recommend at least 1-2 modules per week to be ontop of things.
Great for a quick easy grade. I took his online 1112 history class and it was very easy. I enjoyed his lectures and as long as you take good notes you'll do fine. He did have a weird wording of feminism, socialism, and Germany during a certain period but it might have been bc he was trying to tread carefully. Final was not cumulative.
Amazing professor. Come to class and you will pass. He makes the exams and quizzes every easy and his lectures are actually entertaining. Don't hesitate to participate in class, it'll make it more fun!
Best teacher at Georgia Southern. He explained the material so well, and his tests are just like what he says in his lectures. Just listen!
The best professor I've ever had! I used to struggle in History until I took this class, he explains everything so well and actually cares for his students. Attendance is mandatory but he makes his lectures interesting. If you show up to class you will get a A in his class.
Great professor, but you have to go to class to do well. Lectures are entertaining, but sometimes can get off topic. We ended up taking 2 out of our 3 tests at home because of wifi problems, and we're taking our final online. If you study the notes you'll do good!
Professor Feltman is the best professor I've had at GSU. He has a clear passion for history, especially Germany, but does not force you to love history. It's important to attend lectures because attendance is mandatory and everything on the tests he explicitly says in the lectures. Take Feltman if you can!
Really Chill professor. Just take good notes and pay attention
Come to lectures and take notes and you will get an A. Very animated and teaches history in a way that makes you remember it. If you had an A in the class before the final you were exempt from having to take the final.
