This teacher is one of the easiest/best teachers i have ever had. He truely cared if you passed or not. The tests were extremely easy, infact one test was open book, and the other one was open class, yeah you were aloud to ask other students the answer!

Subject matter is not difficult and Professor Findley makes it fun. He really cares about his students and is always willing to help out. If you take this course, prepare to be inspired.

I did not get a chance to take the Health class with Mr. Findley because I only got to know him after I had taken the class but I took an Honors Nutrition Course with his friend Ms. Boone and I found him to be a very nice, helpful, and caring teacher. I very highly recommend him.

Finley is great! He is taking classes at FAU so he can relate to his students. As long as you do your articles and debate the class is easy. His tests are pretty easy if you study; he gives an awesome word for word review the class before the exam. Overall, he's awesome, he gets really funny too! TAKE HIM IF YOU CAN :)

He's an extremely easy teacher and very laid back. If you take him online you can have all the material in front of when you take the test. You're allowwed to take the first test twice and he drops your lowest test garde (online class of course). For the book report pick "Tuesdays with Morrie" because it;s short and a good book. Garanteed A online.

GREAT Professor! I took him on-line and it was the easiest class! Makes you read a novel and write a paper on it. Very easy! (Read Tue. With Morrie) Tests are on-line 50 min to do them with 50 questions. I never ran out of time and got a B on every test. Make sure you follow with the class discussion on-line and you are bound to get a good grade

I LOVE MR. FINDLEY! I got an A+ simply by making sure I studied for all the tests. He made class so much fun that you actually would want to show up and never miss a class. I only took this class as a requirement, but in the end I ended up learing more about life & myself.. through a health class!! Hes awesome. If you listen to lectures and read the chapter before the test, then there is no reason you shouldn't pass this class.

I took HSC2100 online with Dr. Findley. His online class is fairly easy, your participation is required. He does grade your paper rather harshly, grammar is very important to him. Sadly he is not very involved with the online discussion board; His comments are very insightful when he does participate.

Dr. Findley is a pretty funny professor; he teaches with his shoes off. He loves to teach, and it shows. You definitely have to pay attention. His tests cover exactly what he teaches; also, pay attention to test reviews (super helpful). Go to class and enjoy.

I have only taken his class, Health Concepts, online; however, out of all of my online classes this is the least organized. Took several days after the class started to post ANYTHING on the blackboard. You have one day to get tests done and there is a lot of reading to be done. The class is not hard at all just very time consuming.

Took his 8am class, so glad I did. No mid-term, no exam. Go to class to take notes, its not a huge deal if you miss a couple. Don't be late, its just rude. We do a lot of note taking, i dont mind taking notes so it was easy. 5 test and drops the lowest one. He is very outgoing, never boring. He makes his lectures fun to listen too, take him.

I took Findley for health concepts over a 6 week summer class. He was one of the nicest people I have ever met. I wish he could teach every class at PBSC because this guy loves his job and his students. He does expect you to study for his tests and doesn't just give A's out for his projects but it's not very hard. need the book, buy used or rent

It's important to read the chapters in the text and pay attention during his lectures, definitely not a hard class but you have to study sufficiently to get a good grade. His class is really fun and enjoyable! One of the best professors at PBSC for sure.

Dr. Findley's class was very enjoyable because he is so nice to everyone and he does not grade the 1,000 word essay too harshly. There are only 5 tests, but if you want to get an A, you must pay attention, take notes, and read the chapters. I would personally take any class that he teaches, so I recommend taking him.

Profesor Findley is super clear on how he wants his assignments done, and will grade based on that. Paper is super easy just do what he says to do. Homework is very easy. Tests are easy if you read the chapters and listen to the lectures.

Super helpful prof, asked him to help me w my essay and was super kind, helpful, easy to communicate with. All assignments clearly laid out in syllabus w due dates. No surprises. Hw usually took about 1 hr per lesson; quiz 10 min; test 50 min.; dbas 1 hr a lesson. Overall about 5 hrs of work a week for someone who works slowly. Start essay asap!

Physical book isn't necessary however the access code 100% is. One big paper worth 100 points. LearnSmart online textbook reading quizzes every week, one per chapter. One exam every week. One discussion per chapter per week. Discussions are basically almost essays. Work can be done the day it is due; however I don't recommend it, it's stressful.

Great class, just do your work because he is not lenient with retakes. Discussion boards, easy tests, and a few homework lessons that are easy, just time consuming. Really easy class if you just take the time to do the work. Stay organized, and don't forget due dates!

Took this has an online class during remote learning. He is very clear with his grading criteria and as long as you read and keep up with it youll pass. if you do about 2 assignments a week its not hard at all. ALL of the quiz questions and homework questions are found in the reading, if you read you will pass. He explains everything so clearly!

He is a super easy grader. Homework is for a completion grade and the tests/quizzes are similar to the homework. The discussions are easy, but can take a bit of time to finish. Overall, an awesome class and professor.

I took Professor Findley for Introduction to College Class last semester. I would 100% recommend taking one of his classes again in the future! Lots of energy in the morning, I used to not be a morning person and I took his class at 9:30am, not one morning I dreaded getting up to go to his class. This health class is awesome, I was a high school dual enrollment student. The assignments are super clear, so you always know what to do. Very fair grader. We have discussions weekly, and they're actually pretty interesting. I totally recommend this class if you want something not too stressful.

Yes he does gives homework like any other class you will take as a college student. One 1000 words essay super easy just follow instructions and you'll be fine. He always tries to respond email as fast as possible, very communicative and supportive teacher. I do recommend taking his class. (My class was hybrid)

I took HSC2100 in the 12 week course. The material isn't difficult, but there is a fair amount of work so time management is key. I spent around 30-45 minutes 5 days per week or would have to make up the time on the weekend. The standards and scoring rubrics are very clear. Also, I'd recommend leaving a few days to have your final paper proofread.
