This Professor is so nice and I took his class in fall 13'. He he explains everything well and will answer any of your questions. I didnt know much about Stats but he taught it so well you learn from this class. I read the chapters and reviewed his online notes and came to class everyday for lecture. He curves the tests and I got an A in his class.

Welcome to the next generation of professors! There's no second guessing with the way he teaches - super clear & straight forward. He makes an effort to make class fun to attend, although its not mandatory. I attended the winter session: 2 application essays, 2 exams & 1 final. You're gonna want to this HIS class.

If you actually want to learn Stats he's not the best at teaching it. Other than that he's a very easy teacher whose straightforward. Stats is more than juts the math, it's the concepts behind the math. His tests are also very easy and straight from his lectures and practice sheets he gives out. Not one of my favorite teachers.

Could have taken any other teacher as good as Brian Gendron. Gendron is such a good teacher always helping out and explains the topics and lectures in the most simplest ways. He also gives only 2 very simple essays and hands out a study guide for all of his test. Great Teacher, I recommend him for anyone interested in Psych.

I honestly learned more from the book, but this is probably due to my learning style. He gave out helpful handouts and answer keys. The assignments were also good practice for the tests. He designates review days before the tests. Provides extra credit questions on the tests. Overall, very helpful guy.

I adored this teacher! He was such a nice little guy and he was downright adorable so I found it easy to pay attention to lecture. He makes the class easy to understand and posts his slides every week. On top of that, he seemed enthusiastic about what he was teaching and had fun teaching it. I wholeheartedly recommend him to everyone and anyone.

The only thing I didn't like about his class was his powerpoint setup. It's not very detailed. It's a lot of listening and gooogling what something means. Although, it's very straight forward and it sticks to you. I hope next semester he gets more detailed in power points. Easy class, good professor, would take again.

You could print his notes before class. Gives study guides for test but you shouldn't focus on the study guide alone.

Great teacher. You get a short easy moodle assignment every week. Test are multiple choice with one essay question. There is a jeopardy review before exams and most of those questions you will see on the test. Gives opportunities for extra credit. He looks like Dennis from IASIP

Literally this professor is AMAZING!! he teaches so well! if you fail his class you are a magician! his tests are straight-forward and his teaching style is very clear and understood! you don't have to attended to lectures but its necessary for passing his tests. def. recommend him!! take him you wont regret.

I had his class fall 13 i believe. I think he was fairly new, I'm sure some things have changed but I felt obligated to come write about him. I'm at UCLA now and I must say he probably teaches it way better than those professors. I use to print his lecture slides out and write notes as he talked. He cares about his students. Amazing professor. I wish he taught more Psychology classes. I definitely recommend taking him. His lectures are to the point and answers any questions you may have. There are 10 small assignments on Moodle and three tests throughout the semester. He doesn't take role, but you should go to class if you want a good grade.

Tests are super easy as long as you read the textbook, practice the problems & understand the concept. He has a lot of energy while teaching the material which makes it easier to stay focused & he is also extremely nice + attractive. Assignments were like free points & he gave a lot of extra credit towards the end of the semester.

Probably one of the best professors I have ever had. He is very clear and specific on what he wants his students to learn. Also, he makes sure that everyone knows the lecture because he reviews the previous lecture before going into another chapter. his tests are really easy as long as you read the lecture!

He is so helpful and makes sure to answer questions with precision. He definitely knows how to teach a class, and although the lectures are a bit long, he knows what he is teaching like the back of his hand. 100% would take again.

very very helpful teacher- he does offer extra credit which raised my grade to an A- its super easy too. hes not that tough of a grader on his essay questions on the exams, just make sure you show up to class because he's really thorough explaining what he wants written on the essays. very funny prof and u can tell he really loves what he does!!

Amazing Teacher!! Took him for Psych 41 and loved it so much I am going to take him for Psych 1 & Stats as well! Make sure to register from before though, because the line to add is always super long! He says to refer to the textbook too but you don't really need it. Just know how to apply everything on the study guide and pay attention in class!

He was a good professor and made the material as easy as possible. There were only a few tests and homework assignments. He also gave us extra credit. The last test before the final was horrible (we were warned). Study guides were very helpful!

This professor is definitely one of my favorite professors in pierce. Just pay attention in class and do a little bit of studying and you should be able to get an A in the class. Im definitely gonna take him for psych 1. He's very nice and understanding too.

The 3hr lectures 4 days a week flew by. He was very well organized and his tests and essay questions were very fair. 2 essay questions per test. Great teacher, he is one of my favorites so far.

Most amazing Professor I've ever had! If I could take every class with Gendron I would! All the slides taught in class are provided online in case you miss a class. He also provides the most helpful study guides (online) before every exam. Hard to find an easy A class that you actually learn something in but this is it. Take his class!

When I first attended his class, I was shocked at how monotone he was. I found myself dosing in his lectures. However, I got used to it over time and he makes topics interesting because it pertains to everyday and future lives. If I have to take a psych class, I'll definitely look for him again.

Professor Gendron was honestly wonderful, he was the greatest teacher I've ever had in complete honesty. He cares about teaching the students and explains things thoroughly, also answers all your questions. He is very respectful and as long as you pay attention, take good notes and study your notes you will do great in his class!

One of the easiest classes I had at Pierce. Gendron is a very sincere and caring professor. The stuff he has on his tests are super easy as it's pretty much all based on his slides. The only problem is his monotone voice, but that's just a tiny nit-pick from me. Show up to class, study his slides/study guide, you pass.

The class is easy if you show up. You don't really need the book, his lectures are good enough just make sure to take good notes. He uses slide shows (which he posts up on canvas). 7 assigmnets ( which were fairly easy), 4 test including final. Trust me he's a good teacher you wont regret it

Gendron is such an amazing professor, his class is pretty easy. His lectures are interesting and he does not give out a lot of homework and test, ( 6-8 assignments and 3 test including final). Take this professor, he is a really good professor with an easy class that you actually learn in.

Although I just took this class just because it is required I really enjoyed his lectures. He is passionate and knowledgeable about the material, it may not be an easy A but he really would help out with any questions or concerns you may have.

He's an overall great teacher, I've had him for psych 01 and psych 41. Print out all the lecture slides and bring them to class. Great tip to get a good grade is record his lectures, it'll help you study. He's very straightforward and likes to hear some feedbacks. I did notice that in psych 41, he went in a faster paced than psych 1. He's chill!

Attendance is not mandatory but I would recommend it bc he explains some of the concepts, gives hints for the test, & offers in class extra credit assignment. Easy online homework. Dr. Gendron is one of the better professors at the campus. His quizzes are not difficult and what I mean by this is the questions and answers are in the book black and white. There have been many times I've seen this issue with other professors. He takes his time to provide lecture videos and his textbook is free online. I recommend!

One of the best psychology professors at Pierce. He is super nice and willing to work with you. Ask him for feedback and you won't be disappointed. You have three exams, eight online quizzes, discussions every week and an essay. Don't stress it, this is a really easy class with a really great professor, he really cares, but just show him you care.

Professor gendron made a class that was supposed to be hard easy to understand, and easy to do well in.

PERFECT online class because the syllabus lists everything that is due, when it is due, and there are no surprises. Online postings are regularly graded so you always know where you stand. Dr. Gendron gives great feedback and I really learned a lot in this class.

Exams are pretty easy just study off the study guides he gives you. Lecture can be boring at times. Pay attention and take good notes because some of the things he says can show up on the test. Quizzes are easy, free 20 points and done online. 1 online discussion per week, also easy points. 1 paper which is really short. Overall, easy A.

I took a 5 week session class in the summer. Quiz's are open book. Lots of reading I personally could not keep up with it due to work however, His online Lectures are clear and easy to understand. I plan on taking him again for psych 41. Would have gotten an A if I could have dedicated more time to studying.

I never took a Psychology class before wanted a challenge by taking it online. Having taped lectures, helped and being able to replay them along with the textbook helped. I am a passive student in class, so this prepared me to now to step out of my shell and pursue psychology further. He is great, and great for introductory psychology

Pick a major you love and he's happy He is willing to help with any questions He makes Psychology fun, relatable the exercise of survival was fun. If your not a fast test taker he won't make you feel pressured to hurry if the class finishes an exam early

As a psychology major, I really loved his class. I took AP Psych in high school and had a horrible teacher, didn't go in depth like he does, and now I have a high grade in Psych. High school made me feel like psychology wasn't my major, but I am glad I gave it a second chance with this teacher. Amazing guy.

Professor Gendron is one the best professor in the college. If you pay attention to his lecture and take notes and study them, you will get A at the exams. He gives you an assignment after every two chapter.

Mr Gendron is really clear with his words and he accepts all the questions. He gives his quizzes online, you can take them twice. There are only 3 tests you have to take including the final and the study guides really help for the tests. He gives discussions once a week which are really helpful for the class. Definitely recommended. Easy class

He gives feedback on discussion forums, if you take his psych 13 you will always have something cool to do as a class exercise I missed two weeks of term. I managed to finish well, highest grade on psych final ever. I am grateful for that class, and hope to mirror his optimism as a professor in the field.

I took professor Gendron's math class to get credit for math, and I couldn't have made a better choice. He's a great teacher and very clear and detailed in his lectures. I'm terrible at math but got a good grade in this class because of the way he teaches. I 100% recommend this class to social science majors.

Take Psych 13 as its all about the power of the situation. Its a cool field and may interests psych or criminal justice majors. Social presence, and understanding correlations in theories. Take either Psyc 13 or Psyc 41 his classes are great, if loaded with heavier classes. Psych Aa degree at Pierce counts this as a foundational course. Watch the vocabulary new word construal. I like Gilovich as the text author. He speeds sometimes with powerpoint

He is straight forward, lectures were easy to follow, and assignments weren't painful to do. He won't move on from the topic until he feels everyone is on track and has made his point clear. He makes it clear what will be on the tests and did not miss information for the test. There were around 5 assignments total, and test after each assignment.

Gendron is the best professor I've had. The reason I say "Skip class, wont pass" is because the tests reflect the lecture notes, you DONT NEED THE BOOK!! its not necessary and will save you some money. Just go to class, study before tests, do the discussions, and you'll definitely be fine. He's a great lecturer so you wont be bored:)

I cant say enough good things about this class/professor. I took stats online over the winter session and Im awful at math so I was super nervous. Brian made it so manageable, hes so helpful. It was a lot of work but it was also a 5 week math class so that was expected. The way his class was set up was amazing. Highly recommend taking him.

I took online stat 1 during winter and I have to say that professor Gendron was amazing. Everything was very organized and I knew what I needed to do every week. 5 assignments, 3 quizzes, midterm, and a final exam in total. I really recommend taking him :)

Took Psych 1 online and I was very satisfied with the organization and structure of the course. He uploads a personal video of himself with a webcam and talks about the upcoming chapters and the topics we will be reading about. He also allows two tries on the weekly chapter quizzes. I would recommend this class.

I Just took him for the spring semester, and i couldn't have made a better choice on picking him. He's very patient and goes over what is important. He as well has videos where he explains problems from each chapter he covers, which are super helpful. Tests are not too difficult.

Super easy, just make sure to be acquainted with the terms, concepts, and he really goes over the concepts that you need to know on the study guide which will be your exam overall. Mostly MC on the exams and has one short answer on the back. Super easy assignments and overall, this guy is clear on what he's asking for.

Overall, this class was way too easy given that he just gives you all the formulas on a sheet paper. As long as you know WHAT to do with the formulas, you should be in good shape. Make sure to show up in class and know what he's going through because some concepts can be a little tricky. Yet the main of it is just exams and some assignments

Amazing professor. Took this class with some friends. They recommended him. There are weekly discussions online. Some course work. It does not take alot of your time. At most one hour or two. The tests are straight forward if you study and pay attention in class.

This is the 3rd class I've taken with Professor Gendron. Took his Psych 41 class for winter session and was great. It was tough because of so much info, but he gets the main points of each chapter and makes it more understandable. I definitely recommend this class to anyone and would definitely take another one. By far the best professor I have ever had. His online class had clear and concise videos and lecture summaries, the textbook is electronic and FREE and it's very up-to date and easy to read. His assignments are easy and relevant. Two discussions per week, one quiz per week, one exam every 5 weeks. Very understanding during COVID19. A+

Dr. Gendron is an excellent professor, He gives you lessons were you're able to get ready for his discussions. His exams are a bit easy you just have to study, study! of course. There are about 2 papers which are pretty easy as well.

I took him the Spring Semester 2020 during this whole Corona Virus and stay at home, and I have to give it to this guy, he did incredible. He would record every lecture that he did so if you missed a lecture or two you could just go back and rewatch all the lectures. He explains everything so well and overall really funny, nice, and amusing guy.

Professor Gendron is a gem! He made the transition from in-class to online (because of COVID) as stressless as possible. I recommend that you pay attention to lectures and take notes. Assignments for the class included: 3 exams, 7 quizzes, 8 discussions, and 3 one-page essays. It might seem like a lot of work but trust me its not. Easy A.

Dr. Gendron is such an amazing instructor, It may seem like there's a lot of papers but it's manageable. take notes, pay attention and you'll pass. Don't think he's class is easy though and take him for granted. he does check your assignments pretty good and will take points off if he has to, but in the end, your effort is what it counts. take him!

Prof. Gendron is a great prof. His class consists of 3 exams, 7 quizzes, 8 discussions, and 3 assignments. We had either an easy discussion or 2 attempts quiz due once a week. We switched to online due to COVID-19, but not a big difference. He had zoom lectures, they were recorded. Exams and quizzes were open book, not proctored. Take notes, study!

Mr Gendron was a great prof and made stats pretty easy, I honestly just struggled because he didnt really go over questions he would put on the exam and it would make it hard to understand the questions on the exams and how to do them since we hadnt went over it enough. Overall it was a good class and i shockingly did great on the assignments.

Lifespan Psych with Dr. Gendron online was a great class. His lectures are interesting, and he makes them very relatable to every day life. Professor Gendron is a gem! Excellent, straight forward and good grader, he gives amazing feedback regarding your responses and assignments. I really recommend him because he makes you feel like you're doing good, trying your best and you're doing fine. I feel like that's important because school can be stressful so it's good to have.

Gendron is a really great professor. The tests are harder than what you learn from the modules, but overall they were fine. Scored a B and above on everything. You have discussion posts every week and you have to keep up with the modules if you want to do well in this class. Zooms are mandatory, he records them but you better watch them- they help!

I knew he was a good teacher at the very beginning. He really shows he loves teaching Psychology but he cares about his students more. He understands every student has their own problems to deal with, he's the best! His nonmandatory lectures can take place in very early times or times that you may be occupied but he's always available when in need.

Professor Gendron is very caring and makes everything clear and easy to understand. Just watch his lectures and do your assignments and you will pass his class. he gave us extra credit opportunities every week.

Amazing professor and super understanding. The material is fairly easy as long as you do the readings and so are the quizzes. He is really nice and provides great feedback on your work. 10/10 would recommend.

Professor Gendron is a great teacher! His class did not require the textbook, and you didnt really need it because he already goes over the important ideas in his lectures. Very approachable when you need help. He cares more about students learning than just memorizing. Recommend!!

Review for a SUMMER course: RAPID LEC delivery (time), so plan to record it & reshape notes as needed. The TEXTBOOK SUMMARIES are helpful. He ends LEC 10m early, so prepare Q's you may have. Offers study guides & lecture slides. ATTENDANCE HELPS as the quizzes & exams are heavily LEC based. Casual language use makes the content very digestible.

I attended the Summer 5-week hybrid class. His lecture is easy to follow and he makes sure his students understand by making it less complex. His grading criteria are simple and he is an easy grader. He allows late submission. Although I was late for my essay, which is supposed to be turned in on the last day of the course, he still accepted it.

He mostly gave us discussion assignments and the tests/quizzes weren't difficult. He is a light grader, not strict, not rude, and he is great at explanations.

He's one of the best professors I've ever had. Attendance is not mandatory, but I highly recommend going because you learn so much. All the quizzes and exams are online and open-book. Even the final! He's caring and is really passionate about what he teaches. Very easy class if you pay attention.

If you are planning to take PSYCH 001 I definitely recommend this Professor. He provides the textbook online for free, PowerPoints slides to take notes, and very understanding video lectures if taking him online!:)

Psych001- Weekly extra credit, discussion and open book/note quiz. Three exams, 2 interesting essays. Engaging and interesting lectures and he is very approachable and cares about students. Responds to emails.

Best Professor I've had and class is very success-oriented. You have weekly extra credit opportunities and discussions. Not many papers, and quizzes every few chapters. I didn't use the textbook because he goes over the chapters on recorded zooms. You have to watch 10 zooms per semester and summarize, but otherwise not mandatory. Highly recommend!

Professor Gendron is great! I have learned so much from his lectures. He knows his stuff, and if he doesn't know something, he says Idk. Also, he is very respectful toward his students and their comments. Truly a great professor!

He's amazing. Lectures are very easy to follow along and fun to participate in. If you don't want to attend classes, read the textbook. If you go to lectures, the textbook isn't as needed. Regardless, the lectures are better. He's also eager to learn, which makes him even more respected. I enjoyed his class.

I took Psych 41 as a Winter Class, no zoom meetings or anything. Professor Gendron is one of the best professors I have ever had! The exams aren't too difficult as long as you study but he covers most of the material. In the discussions he gives you feedback along with your essays. He's super chill and I loved this class, definitely recommend!

Currently taking this Professor for P41 atm, I'm not even done yet but here to say He is an awesome Professor. He goes over slides during lecture and make sure everyone understands. When you asks questions He always answers them in detail and gives great examples and always says "great question". Great class taught by a great Professor.

Just wants to teach us and the work is very easy as well. Every other week we have a discussion, and a quiz on the weeks we don't, and a test every 5 weeks. Overall his class was really easy to pass. He is a great professor with really in depth lectures. He is accessible outside of class and attendance is not mandatory.

This is my second class with Prof Gendron, and he is amazing. I highly recommend him for any class. He has a knowledgeable way of teaching stat concepts. He has assignments and discussions and three tests including the final that you take online. You should take him for any of the classes he teaches! I highly encourage it!

Brian is such an amazing professor. He tells you exactly what you need to know and is always happy to start a discussion on the topic during class. He wants students to pass and truly cares about his students. The lectures are amazing and I was always excited to go to this class. The material is easy if you just look pay attention to what he says.

Professor Gendron puts out what is expected of you in assignments which makes getting high marks on assignments very easy. Attendance was not mandatory and all quizzes and exams were online, open-note and open-book. He gives you good feedback on your assignments and this class was generally very easy as long as you keep up with up.

Such an easy, yet interesting class. I stopped attending after the first few weeks and still got an A. Most of the answers are on the slides/textbook, and the two papers are pretty easy, just email him if you have questions. He also rlly nice and his quizzes/exams/discussions are all pretty easy!

Brian is an exceptional professor! He cares deeply for his students and their learning. There are 2 discussions posts each week followed by a short quiz; all quizzes and tests are open-note. Brian provides honest and constructive feedback for many assignments. You are bound to succeed in his class. I highly recommend.

Dr. Gendron is an awesome professor. First, the class is well organized. He ensures students have many opportunities to ask questions, Such a wonderful professor and I highly recommend to any student who values learning and getting something out of a class that they can apply to their everyday lives.

Incredibly understanding professor. There is weekly homework, with common sense there's no reason you shouldn't get full credit every time. Tests are very easy to study for, multiple choice questions. There are a handful of small papers/assignments. He really values your perspective and appreciates participation. Very easy class.

I had a good time in this class, the professor is always patient with questions and has humility when he may not know an answer (he'll almost always get back to you with an answer the next class). I think I wanted a little more diversity on the way things are taught, it is pretty lecture heavy, but overall it was a good class and I would recommend.

I took Professor Brian for Stat101 and Psych13, his class was genuinely the highlight of my week. He is well-organized and keeps students engaged in the subject. His materials were always available on the class page and he even provided practice problems for quizzes in my Stats class! He really is just a chill guy, I hope to learn more from him! :)
