One of the most disliked professors at USC (even though hes new). Ruined geography courses and made it miserable. He grades like a tech school professor and will ruin your gpa. Subtracts from your final grade for attendance including if you are a few minutes late to class. Boring lectures, passive aggressive attitude problem, avoid like the plague

I can tell that Dr. Grabbatin loves what he does. While he uses the book as a resource & foundation for the course, he is very knowledgeable about the goings-on in the world and teaches from his experiences and his passion and not just from the book. He gave me a greater perspective on the world. Yes, there was a lot of work, but it was rewarding.

Professor Grabbatin is a cool person but not a great teacher. His lectures make you fall asleep faster than Thor love and thunder and If you miss one thing, He doesn't even give you the chance to correct it. He does care about students and sends helpful emails to everyone.

I thought he was caring and wanted to make sure you understand what your talking about. The material itself is not too hard but you do have to read a lot of the textbook.

Prof. Grabbatin is an awesome professor. I enjoyed his lecturing method. He uses powerpoints to teach the material but some questions will have to be found in the book. As long as you show up, do the homework, read the book and participate you'll get a good grade. Participation is key in group projects. Very caring and also provides extra credit.

Professor Grabbatin is fantastic. Even though GEO 205 I01 is an online class, he makes the content enjoyable. There are weekly open note quizzes, along with mastering geo assignments and weather and national park reports. The course is fairly simple, but each work must be done on time. However, Professor Grabbatin is always here to help everyone.

Prof. Grabbatin's class is fantastic! Engaging lectures, short research projects, and challenging tests. It covers economy, government, and culture-related issues. Extra credit and 5 points are added to test scores and are highly recommended! Take World Geography 102, it's the better than history 202.

Another great geo class with Grabbatin. Took online. Fun projects (going to Congaree Park, identifying clouds) and he stays easy to reach outside of class. Midterm and Final are hard because it's a lot of info to remember, but the projects and weekly assignments aren't bad. Quizzes are open book. Take his in-class person when you can, he's great.

Prof. Grabbatin's Geography class was excellent. I visited Congaree National Park, learned about weather reports, and identified clouds. Also, we studied Mesa Verde National Park. Assignments included weekly quizzes, study guides, midterm and final exams, and extra credit opportunities. I recommend taking this class in person.

One of the worst teachers Ive had thus far. I took his geog 101 class at USC and it was extremely boring. Im a history major and was looking forward to this class, I used to enjoy geography. At the end of the class he made us write a 7 page paper on Main Street. It was complete busywork, he graded on quantity not quality. I dont recommend.

My favourite professor at Midlands Tech! I find his lectures to be engaging, the research projects were simple to do, way better than writing an essay. He provides plenty of resources to succeed, such as study guides, mapping practice, & practice tests. Always there if you need help w/ anything. Would definitely take one of his classes again.

I was really nervous to take my first ever online course, but Prof Grabbatin has made it SO easy! If you stay on top of your work, there's nothing to worry about. He provides you with all the resources you need, posts weekly updates, is very available outside of class, and genuinely wants you to succeed. I highly recommend taking his class!

One of my first classes at Tech and great first impression. You will have to put in a bit of work to get good grades consistently, but the subject is interesting and Prof Grabbatin is passionate and caring. Loved it, would take it again.

He's nice and a pretty good professor that establishes a very friendly classroom setting, as you'll have multiple group projects to do. Sometimes the class is boring but it's fine. He's a good professor.
