He is a very good teacher

I took it during summer and got an A. Very organized notes, which you will have to write down word by word if you want an A. Not intimidating, but somewhat demanding, Gives you credit on labs. Good professor.

Lazy people will definitely not pass! Very approachable, good detailed notes. Write everything he says. Aim for an A and you will get an A. Take memory supplements, they will help in this demanding class.

Am I too smart or what? I got an A in his class in a summer session! Yeah, I know. I'm a showoff, but do you think I got the grade simply by going out and partying. If you are afraid of missing out on life for a few weeks, then he is not the right proff. for you. I spent 6 hours a day in the learning center with body part models. You will work!

His tests are hard but if you study a little bit you will do fine. He is a very good and kind person.

He definetly is monotone. Great teacher but exams are not so hard if you study.I got an A. Tips for his class. Learn to write fast and abreviate some words so that your can keep up with him. If you can write down everything he says and read the book and do some index cards he is an easy A. Skeletal and nervous system was the most intense for me.

if you have questions, instructor is good at helping you find the answer, which I found is of more benefit in learning than just getting an answer. course is difficult, have to work hard, but I highly recommend

When I enrolled I did not think I was going to like anatomy. Professor Hill made the class interesting to me and even fun at times, especially in the lab. I studied hard and was able to get an "A"

Class is not easy, but if you really want to learn about anatomy and physiology this is the class to take. Professor Hill is very knowledgeable. Detailed material is presented accurately with an organized style and he never has to use any notes.

Professor Hill is a great teacher. He knows his material. His tests are hard, but if you study a little bit and go out less..you'll do fine. He offers lab quizzes, extra credit for attendance, and points during the end.

he's a great teacher. Even though english is my second language, i can understand him clearly. He speak very slow, so i got his notes words by words. He care about student. His tests are not that hard. As long as you study you will be fine. I got an A in his class. So i bet you can do it too.

Professor Hill is awesome! He lectures everything necessary in the book and does it in a nice and organized manner. He is not an easy grade--you must study, but he is indeed the BEST for anatomy. HINT: take good lecture notes and you'll be fine. Fun labs and some Extra Credit points. If you need Anatomy take Hill, you'll be happy you did.

If you have a chance take him for both anatomy and physiology, there is no better professor than Hill. He is detailed, organized, professional, and nice. He knows everything! Exams are not easy, but he prepares you well for them. Lab and quizzes are easy and fun. If you want to learn heaps and have fun take him, indeed he is the best @ ELAC.grade=A

Hints: Whatever is on quizzes will be on exams as well. Take good notes and turn all lab work in. Show up and get Extra credit. Exams are not too bad if you study your notes. People complain that he is too detailed, he is the BEST, covers everything! Take bio 20 if possible so you can get the best professor @ELAC for both physiology and Anatomy.:)

Hill is the best anatomy teacher! He's hard but he helps you out if he sees youre trying. I took his summer session and got an A. I didn't buy the book, I just studied from the lab manual. He gives quizzes and his tests and multiple choice and short answer. He's really organized and really knows his stuff. i definitely recommend him!

This is not an easy class, you really need to work hard for an A. But if you go to every class, take good notes and review throughly before each exam, you will be fine. He gives extra credit for coming to the class on time; full credit as long as you complete your lab reports and lab assignments. I would recommend him as I really learnt a lot.

Took his Ana001 over the summer: face paced. Tests: difficult - very difficult. Quizzes: super easy. Got an A. Advice: Read ahead and absolutely DO NOT miss class. A lot of info - take good notes/pics of models/dissections. Ask questions after lecture or during office hrs. Study for at least 2 hrs outside of class each day. GL!

this class is intense hill gives allot of useful info in his lectures attendance is a must. wouldn't take this class with anyone else. i dropped due to pneumonia but you need to read the text and take good notes this class needs you to read on a daily basis.

Attendance is DEFINITELY mandatory for extra credit (adds up every pt. counts) & if you want to earn a good grade on those tricky exams. I highly recommend bringing a recorder and taking notes on everything he says. Great prof, & crystal clear. Indeed an intense class but also interesting. Got an A! Warning: final is pretty difficult.

He makes the class relatively easy by covering just the most important parts. I'd bring along a recorder and do not miss a class. The better you do on earlier exams and quizzes the more room you will have to breath come finals. But don't mistake "easy" for "not hard", if you don't study or slack off on attendance then your grade can nosedive.

Took his anatomy class for summer 13 & got a B.His class is super easy! You don't have to really use the book for the tests. Attending class is a must. I have a very busy schedule & managed to only study 2 hrs for each test & managed to still earn a good grade. Something is wrong if you don't earn a good grade in his class.

Great professor. He is clear in his expectations and lecture. Extra credit for attendance. Don't miss lectures, plenty of quizzes, tests are long. I am really glad I took him. He is always available for help too.

He is super helpful!! Class is not easy, record his lecture!! I got an A because I studied hard! A good trick is to record his lecture and replay them when you get a chance to review it! He thought me a lot!! If you want to learn a lot, this is the right class!!

Attendance is a must for extra credit. I took Hill and I must say read, take good notes and record lectures. Although his tests are easy it does require a lot of your time to study and memorize. I highly recommend you take this class.

Great Professor! Just memorize his lab reports and you will pass. Hardly read the book. Got an "A" for every exam. Gives extra credit for attendance. Make sure to attend every disection lab for easy group quiz points. Again, memorize the lab reports, that's all you need to pass.

Everything about this class is straightforward: his grading criteria, lectures, tests, etc. Gives extra cred for attendance which is worth every. single. point. because he grades on a point system. Make sure to stay the entire lecture bc he tells you at the end what diagram will be on the exam. Besides the diagrams, everything else is from lecture.

Professor Hill is great. If you listen to the lecture and take good notes, the tests are not that bad. He is very clear about what he wants and expects, he also gives group quizzes and offers extra credit just for being on time.

Love Pro Hill. His lectures are clear and organized. He makes this subject easy to learn. However, there are a lot of memorization, study after lecture will definitely help to pass. He covers almost everything, but for the exam , READ the book !!!!

5 tests and 1 final. Lab is easy. Tests are based on his lecture. Go to class every time, Record his lectures and focus on them. I only used the textbook to look at the illustrations. He gives out extra credit for attendance. So far I have an A. you have to dedicate a lot of your time to study the material.

Offers EC for being on time. Definitely take advantage of it. Also gives out GROUP QUIZZES! They're easy A's. The only hard part were tests. You need to study & commit most of ur time to ANAT. Study buddies/Txtbook/Recording lecture, use anything that will help. He also drops the lowest midterm! Don't lose focus in ANAT! Studying is super important

Professor Hill is your typical excellent instructor. Grades fair, gives study guide. Can turn in for extra credit! Everything on study guide will be on test. No surprises. Hes got some good jokes as well. Enjoyed the class, be ready to study.

Prof. Hill is amazing if you want to learn and have a strong foundation. He gives study guides and a lecture manual. Record his lectures it helps to go back if you are not sure about something. Ask questions and we will answer. 5 Test, drops lowest, 1 final. Easy group quiz. Show up for every class and get extra credit. Overall great!

Took him during the 5 week summer. It's a very fast paced course so you need to have good study habits. Study the material after each lecture don't wait till the day before a test to study. I managed an A by studying everyday for 4+ hrs. The professor was wonderful and presented the material very clearly. I highly recommend this professor!

1 of the best Anatomy teachers. I switched from LAHC to enroll in his class. Audio or video record his lectures AND take notes, re listen to lectures, stay to finish labs and study body models! No book needed, only the lab manual. Study what he tells you and your grade will show. Hill curves exams & offers extra credit if youre on time to class!

Prof. Hill is a good prof. He helps out with what you need to study but I wouldnt pass this class with good grades if I didnt read the book. You can pass with the study guides but if you want an A, read the book. He gives lots of extra credit which helps a lot as well. Lab is easy and you get group quizzes. Make sure you write good notes.

I took a friday only class from 9-4 and initially though it was going to be tough given that class is once a week however, if you read the assigned chapters and review the study guide, complete the labs, and ATTEND CLASS, youll be fine. Its all about reading the chapters and linking it to the info he provides during lectures for the study guide.

Awesome professor! Tests off of lectures so record them and follow along his lectures with the study guide. You don't really need the book but the pictures help (he shows them in class). Reading these reviews it seems ppl forget their taking a college course. It's not easy but it really shouldn't be. He will challenge you so study your ass off!

Professor Hills lectures are very well put together. The material is clear. He cares about his students and is always available to help. He offers optional zoom meetings if any questions. I would take his class again.

A lot to study but he is very helpful he gives a study guide for all the exams. You do have to study a lot but if you study you will be fine. Always gives out extra credit points and is always willing to explain anything.

this is probably the best professor you can take for anatomy. sure lecture can be a little boring he plays slideshows with him reading the notes but this teacher is so nice you don't have to take any notes at all everything is typed out for you already if it is not in his notes it will not be on his test. lab is super easy we do everything together

Professor Hill was a direct and relaxed professor. He provides study guides for all exams and doesn't burry us with work. This is anatomy so there is a large amount of terms to memorize but overall the class was easy and nice :)

Professor Hill was an amazing Anatomy Instructor in my experience! Anatomy is a TOUGH subject, so be prepared to study a lot. However, professor Hill makes it very doable. He gives you transcripts with everything that you need to study, he hands out study guides and is such a nice person overall. He also provides a lot of extra credit!

His lectures are very long and dull. He gives out handouts with all the terms and definitions being covered and with what will be on the test which makes studying easier. A Study heavy class. Exams are 2 parts: Lecture (multiple choice) and Lab (naming selected parts on models). Drops lowest exam and offers extra credit on every exam. Very caring.

There were 5 exams, 1 final, 6 lab reports, 3 group quizzes. He gives extra credit for being in class on time, and extra credit questions on exams. I have a full time job + 1 other class. I had to study every night for the whole semester, and all weekends. I sacrificed a LOT, but wanted the A. Its doable with extreme time management and dedication.

had him for summer and i recommend he gives study guides beforehand and as long as you keep up and put in extra time outside of class you will do just fine.He does like group "pop quiz" and gives extra credit in the exams.The lectures are a bit long but they are clear.I personally thought the course was easy.

Very clear on what to know for tests and gives extra credit as well. Pop quizzes here and there but nothing impossible. Gives extra credit for being on time. Lots of information so get ready to study, same for the lab portion. Obviously is a difficult course but can be done.

Professor Hill is a good professor, be ready to study for hours , lab is easy, also might give some lab quizzes during class not a big deal because it can be done in a group.

Awesome professor! pretty straight forward and he will give you all you need to pass. All you need to do is study his recorded lectures and outlines side by side and attend his class every time and you will pass this. As an immigrant, this is my first class after attending college 15 years ago due to a career change, I highly recommend Mr. Hill.

Lectures are easy to understand. Professor gives you a outline and it based on his lectures. I took him for Saturdays class so 8 hours with him. the lectures does take long but again everything you need to know for the test will be on the outline. Come to class everyday, dont be late. You get extra credit

Professor Hill is kind, it is obvious that he enjoys his job. The course itself can be difficult due to all the info, but he does provide an outline which he goes over w/ the class, make sure to study it and you'll be fine on the multiple choice part of exam. Took him for winter so it was tough might be better to take him longer. He is so adorable!

Professor Hill is very knowledgeable about Anatomy. In order to pass his class you have make sure you read and understand all the materials he presents to you, as it is what you will be tested on during exams and practicals. He is a very laid back professor and if you study all the materials he provides, you are sure to pass.

To be honest, this is not my first time taking anatomy. So at first I was kind of scared to take it over the summer. But let me tell you..Take this professor! His lectures are spot on, he provides you an outline with his lectures and labs are pretty easy, just pay attention. Passed with a C, if I would've put more work in, it would've been a B.

Professor Hill is very lecture heavy and his tests consists on the material that is ONLY out of the study guide, which I love and thankful for because I don't waste my time studying what's not gonna be on the test. + lab is done together, easy A there! You have to do your part though and study lec. final is NOT cumulative only 2 chapters! :-)))))))

Professor hill gives you all you need to pass this course, no homework, no group projects, no smoke and mirrors YOU decide the grade you get by how well you study the lecture outline and lab manual, you can easily get an A.

Great professor! Got an A, but it wasn't that easy... although he doesn't give out homework, you HAVE to study. Got low B's on the first few midterms, studied twice as hard for the next tests and ended with a strong A. GO TO CLASS! He gives out EC if you are there on time, but doesn't say anything til the end. study, study, study! take him!

- 6 exams total (He'll drop the lowest exam grade if all 6 are taken) these are v lecture heavy w/ ~90 questions each SO STUDY but there is extra credit! - no hw - has a vocal cord condition so he'll usually play the lecture vid during class and speak during the lab portion - VERY sweet - Doesn't show your cumulative grade unless you email him!!

Anatomy is hard no matter who teaches it but he was pretty reasonable with his lectures and tests. I honestly like the structure of the class because I'm more of a study on your own kind of person. But he'll go over any Questions and help you out with lots of EC. Just make sure you don't study last minute

Professor Hill is a fair professor. This was among the most challenging courses in my college career. Extra credit opportunities are given on exams. 6 exams total, but are allowed to drop 1 with no consequences. Textbooks are not needed; but DO purchase the lab manual. Lecture slides are available on CANVAS. Learning Center is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED!

He teaches his labs at a very constant paste. Labs can be easy and challenging, but he provides lab reports in which are used as study guides. There's a lot of terms you need to memorize and spell them correctly at the top of your head. As long as you practice the spelling the body parts, you will do well on the exams. I took this class seriously.

Great prof TAKE HIS CLASS IF YOU WANT TO PASS! I was nervous about taking anatomy I hadn't taken a real course in 10 years but he was easy. Class is black and white no in between, with study guides that let you know exactly what's on the test, he give EC and drop lowest quiz+exam. You don't need a label just download good notes and label everything

Professor Hill is truly amazing! He cares about and is kind to his students, such a sweet professor. He gives opportunities for extra credit, has 3 exams, and allows you to drop the lowest exam/quiz score. I was really worried about this class, but he made everything smoother. If you don't pass, that's on you. Highly recommend this professor!

The best lab professor! Clear lectures, tells you what's on the quiz/exam. Provides lab reports and lab manual. Extra credit for showing up on time. Lab practicals are 50 questions with 2 extra credit. Won't be easy unless you STUDY!!! Drops the lowest quiz/exam. If you do well on the first 2 exams, you don't have to take the final one.

Professor Hill is the best! His class was so straightforward and he gives extra credit just for showing up. His teaching style is what I liked the most plus he lectures at a good pace so everyone understands and is able to ask questions. 3 hour class fly by fast and you learn so much, no off topics just lectures. Wish he taught other subjects.
