Prof. Jennings is awesome! 3 exams & 6 quizzes, lowest of each gets dropped, as well as a research paper on a political theorist, which he will gladly look over if you have a rough draft done early. No HW. There are also 10 points of extra credit. No required textbook and the quizzes and exams come straight from the lecture/powerpoints. Take him!

I am glad that I was able to take Political science with Professor Jennings. Many of the quizzes and discussions are based off the powerpoints, so reading through them will help you to get a good grade. There is only one paper for the online class, although, the topic choices made it an easy paper to write. Overall, great class!

The reviews speak for themselves. No homework, quiz and exam answers come straight from his powerpoints, one paper which he grades quite leniently. But my favorite thing about him is that he respects his students even if he disagrees with their beliefs; a trait which is hard to find in a political science professor. A truly wonderful guy.

Second time with this Professor and still like his style and teaching approach. Very easy to follow, though he can get off on a tangent. Pay attention to the PPT and you will do fine.

Nice guy. Book ended up being unnecessary (quizzes mostly from lectures), but it was cheap anyways. Not a lot of assignments, quizzes aren't tough. Discussion assignments can be time-consuming but there's not a lot of work in the class.

One of the worst professors I've ever had. He failed to meet the curriculum so he started speeding through the course content the last three weeks of the semester which resulted in inadequate lectures. His power points do not help his students learn nor does his poor study guides. He also goes off on multiple tangents in our lectures. Don't take.

I was pretty irritated that I'm paying for a class where it's not based off of any facts. He sites information in his PowerPoints but doesn't provide any backing for the information. So I'm paying to learn someone else's agenda. I went into this class wanting to learn, and felt like I got a crash course in the liberal medias agenda.

Took this class over intercession & was worried at first, but turned out to be an easy class with amazing lecture slides he provided. One research paper was required, 2 midterms, 1 final, 6 quizzes, & discussion posts, which were not that bad. He drops the lowest quiz & midterm if you have turned in all assignments on time! Extra credit was given

Jennings is what I would call an ideal professor. He's the type of teacher who strives to really push his students to actually understand the material and learn how to apply that knowledge outside of class as well. He might come across as intimidating but I can assure you this guy is the opposite of a jackass and genuinely wants you to succeed.
