Summer is a very quick paced course, you get a lot of information in a very short time. He has experience in communication, although political, don't hold that against him. Very enlightening class.

Awesome teacher, very helpful, extremely laid back, class is boring but he makes it interesting. Very knowlegdable. Take this class. Political but funny in a way. Great all around.

Yeah the class is easy to get a B, but hard as F*** to get an A. You will not get anything higher than a B+ on your papers, thats just how it is.

I really liked him. It is easy to get a B but hard to get an A in this class. I got an A, but I was always in his face trying to find out exactly what he wanted. Sit up front, be on time, and participate. That means contribute to the class discussions and you will get that elusive A. The work is as easy as it gets.

B is for Brian. He grades well and an A is an excellent well prepared paper. Follow the writing rules of each letter and a B is easy. Writing skills get the A. I like his style.

Take this teacher. Class is entertaining and not too dificult. The in class papers can be a challenge but are open book. 3 tests which weren't too hard. Final exam was an in class resume. Research paper took a lot of time but if you start early he'll grade you fairly. This class will prepare you for a business career.

I took Business Communication during the summer. Brian made the course entertaining and useful. The research project was time consuming but reasonable. Brian was available for consultation when needed.

great teacher! quizzes are a breeze, just read the book. Report assignment kind of hard but ask him for help and he'll let you know what's missing. Got an A but I honestly thought I deserved a B since I didn't bother to proof read my report. he is upbeat and interesting. A short 3 min speech is mandatory, just make sure to do all assignments.

Brian, is an excellent teacher! I truly enjoyed his class. Material can be somewhat dry, but tests are easy! NO HOMEWORK! Just make sure to read the material. He has a style of teaching that draws you in and keeps you interested! We talked about current news related to business. Very interesting! He tells you exactly what to study for on tests!

The class is very useful and Keliher makes it fun to come to everyday. Top 2 favorite professors I have had in college. It is difficult to get an A but also difficult to get a C. Pretty much it is a guarenteed B if you complete all the assignments which were not difficult. The final is a piece of cake. No studying needed.

Professor Brian was a great teacher. I had him last spring and enjoyed the class. Reading the text book is a must otherwise you will be lost when it comes to the test. No homework and one out of class assignment. Definately recommend him.

He is very organized and uses powerpoint to go over the chapters. He only collects 2 homework assignments and there's a short paper you have to do. He teaches in a way that keeps you interested and he goes over current events that relate to what you're learning. He also tells you what to study for when it comes to tests. Take him if you can!

Great teacher and easy class. If you already know about business this class will drag slowly, but he does a great job overall. Fairly easy assignments and tests are a breeze. Don't waste your money on buying the book, only two assignments from it and there's a copy in the library. I have to take BUS 125 and I plan on taking it with him.

Had him in Bus 125 also. Great prof!!! Made classes fun & exciting. Bus 128 was much harder & required more work, but less tests/quizzes. Grade is mainly from assignments including an 8-10 page analytical report. Overall, it's still worth taking his classes because you really learn something & he's always willing to always stay after & help you.

One of the most helpfull and energetic teachers i have seen or taken a class from. He always answers all of your questions and even though he seems like he has been doing this for years he still has the drive for teaching a new teacher would have.

Mr. Keliher is a fun teacher to have. He makes jokes in class and makes the material interesting to listen to. It's not an easy class though. He requires book reading and tests every couple of chapters or so with optional written portions. He also has a couple of homework assignment. But he is worth taking as a teacher definitely.

Great teacher, not too hard and not too easy, just right. He uses powerpoint slides for all chapters, which makes the material much more comprehensible. He always gives you a list before each test on what you need to focus on so that really helps. For the tests I always studied both the powerpoints and the book and i always got Bs. TAKE HIM!

Great class! The content wasn't too difficult. Tests were tough but manageable and there is like no work for the class. He grades fair and is understanding of hardships. He makes a seemingly boring topic fun by adding in up to date scenarios. Great, fun, entertaining teacher.

Fairly easy class to pass. I love that the final was just a letter, made my finals week so much easier on me. He's entertaining too. Only con: I bought the book, and we didn't use it. :( Wish I had that money back.

i took this class in the summer, very disappointed that i would be learning business law during break. but he made the class extremely interesting and makes his lessons easily understandable, even if its a confusing concept. he also a very funny guy. i got an A by just going to lectures and studying the powerpoints

Interesting, and so funny! Makes lectures relatable to real life, engages students with discussions, and cracks jokes the whole time. Even the exams have jokes, I had to stifle my laughter during tests! I highly recommend him!!

All I can say is: TAKE THIS CLASS! This guy is hilarious. I didn't open the book once. All I needed to do was take notes on his lectures. He's also extremely helpful. He will answer any question you have.

his lectures are fluid and simple with relevant examples. they fill in about 75% of what each chapter's about, and he recommends reading the textbook for the other 25% and it actually ties everything together. there's a test every 3 chapters, but he provides a study guide, so that chill. it wouldn't seem so at first glance, but he's pretty funny

This class ROCKED, even at 9:30am. I thought I would be so bored, but Professor K is super nice, funny, and knowledgeable. That, and he is super fair. Just do the assignments, go to class, and do the study guides and you'll be fine. :)

Keliher BUS LAW 125 class-LOVED LOVED HIS CLASS!! He does lecture with powerpoints & gives side storieshumor to understand the material to make class enjoyable. There is no HW! A couple tests which are easy because he gives very helpful study guides-KNOW the VOCAB. I EXTREMELY RECOMMEND his class regardless if its mandatory or not! FAVORITE CLASS

Professor Keliher is one of a kind. I would totally hang out wthis dude outside of class. Hilarious and you learn a lot! I knew a lot of the material from just having a pulse but it's interesting to learn the other stuff and he gives a lot of examples of real life cases. I'm seriously considering the attorney path because he makes it interesting.

Loved this class and professor!! I made sure to go to all of his lectures because they were extremely interesting and he's hilarious! The class time went by very fast each day just because he made it so interesting to listen to. Highly recommend him and I would love to take him again.

Quizzes were only online as five questions-very simple. We did not get through all the material on the syllabus and his tests were fair in evaluation and understanding of the legal business world. His lectures were directly from the textbook and asking questions took away from some of the material we did not learn, but was open forum.

This teacher was one of my favorites. Very funny, charismatic, and obviously loves teaching. Tests are fair, and the way he presents material is top notch. 1010 would take again.

This professor does not issue homework, but if you want to fully comprehend the material either you read the book yourself or show up for class. He makes attending class fun by using his sense of humor to make the material fun learning. Only downside is you must score well on test if you want to pass.

Second time taking Mr. Keliher. This class wasn't as great as Bus Law, but the subject material isn't his fault. He is great, very humerus, witty, sarcastic, encouraging, etc. Would take again. He likes participation. Read PP's, take notes and you're pretty much good.

This is an OUTSTANDING professor! You will learn a lot about the law in this class. He provides Ppt's on Blackboard for you to use as study guides and to take notes in class; this is extremely helpful. During the lectures he comes out with some seriously funny zingers that will make you laugh and interested to participate. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Easy teacher. Likes to get the class engaged in the lectures. Tests are pretty easy if you follow the available study outlines. Didn't really use my book at all. He is very approachable and easy to talk to if there is a problem.

He gives out study guides for exams and if you complete them you'll do great. Make sure you know the cases he goes over in class. Other than that little homework.

He's funny and smart; he'll admit something he doesn't know. I don't feel dumb asking question in his class. I'll miss him when this class is over.

Professor Keliher is really cool and funny. I always had fun coming to class and I really learned a lot about personal finance. The online quizzes and tests were super easy, and even the projects didn't require much effort. The discussions were always based on interesting things. Super easy GPA boosting class.

His lectures have some boring material, particularly bus com. He makes the lectures a little bit lighter and less boring with his personality. Tests are based on material covered in class. I took him for business comm and business law, he is an outstanding professor. I highly recommend him. His lectures aren't not boring, he makes them interesting. There is no homework just be sure to study for test. He says to be sure to read the book but I don't find it a requirement. I didn't open the book.

His tests reflect lecture material and current events from class completely. I don't think I used the textbook; consider not getting it. His class is easy if you show up and study for an hour before each test. He makes funny jokes sometimes but my class never laughed. I appreciated them though. The course is interesting and you learn useful things.

Brian is a good teacher and is very funny! show up on time, take notes, and study for the tests. Some questions asked on the tests and on the final have nothing to do with the study guide review he gives us, so study your notes that you take in class! if you do this you will receive an A or B for sure!

Keep in mine that I took this class over a 6-week course. Kehiler was an amazing teacher. The lectures were clear and engaging. You have to read the book to full grasp any concepts or notes that you missed in class. He is funny and organized. I regret not taking this class for a full semester because an A is extremely attainable with this teacher.

He's my favorite professor i've ever had. Seriously, hes great. I have bad test anxiety but he sneaks jokes every couple of questions and it makes me smile which is relaxing. He references relevant topics we can relate to every day, making lecture memorable. He doesn't give a lot of homework but he does expect you to actually read what he assigns.

Brian was a nice older man. We always started off class talking about business-related &/or law stuff happening in the U.S. which I loved bcuz it made it relevant. Sometimes he moved fast through the ppt but he posted it sometimes. The exams were really hard so study like a week or two in advanced! I was at a 78 or 79 & he gave me a B-, I love it!

Prof. Keliher honestly had me looking forward to talking about pensions & insurance. He is hilarious, knowledgable & very approachable (even if you have a stupid question!). I only used the book a couple of times because the tests were largely based on his lectures/powerpoints. Be sure to study those since he pulls test questions directly from them

Professor Keliher was able to take a drab topic like Law and make it fun. He is constantly cracking jokes and keeping the mood light while still giving out good information. I only read the book when I needed to study for a test, and the assignments are not too difficult either.

Prof. Brian is a really enjoyable teacher. His online class was very organized and clear, and his lecture videos were informative and funny as he often cracked small jokes in them. He pretty easy. You really dont need the book. Just show up to class, do the projects take a bunch of notes, and study for it for the exams and quizzes.

Prof. Keliher is the best! His lectures are short and to the point, relatable, and easy to understand. I took the class online, there were 3 tests (2 unit tests and 1 final). The tests consisted of essay questions and as long as you read the book and listen to his short lectures, you will get an A. He is also very caring and easy to reach out to.

I took this class over summer, and I quite enjoyed it. The class covers lots material, using two free online texts as well as many readings of court cases. He posts videos on canvas that are unlocked week by week, and the power points with him explaining the material are quite educating. I found the class easy and enjoyable. Great professor!

Lectures are short and straightforward. He adds humor with quizzes and videos I learned a lot about the business world and how to write different letters, give an oral presentation, and analytical reports. The analytical report project is worth 35% of your grade (300 points total).

I loved this class! It's super informative and you can go at your own pace with the lectures. The textbook is free and the workload is usually 1 quiz and/or 1 discussion aweek. The information given is super applicable to everyone's life and can genuinely impact your finances and ways of spending. He gives you all the tricks in and out of the book!

Funny professor to take which took away from the difficulty of the class. im actually taking him again for my next business class and still a pretty decent class. He gives you enough attempts to get the quizzes right the first. Just take notes of the lecture and you'll do fine in the class.

Literally the best professor. I took him for BUS195 and I cannot express how much I loved this class. Yu will literally learn everything he talks about and keep it in mind all the time.

Super easy course his lectures are funny his tests are extremely easy as he jokes and practically puts only the answer on the response key as the only option. Great professor. You definitely learn the material but he just does it in an easy way

Mr. Keliher was a great instructor. He actually teaches you things clearly and visually in his lectures and is pretty chill. One thing though is that he will not let you make up late/missing assignments so if you miss any, you are out of luck and will have to take the 0. But, as long as you are on top of everything, you should be fine.

He doesn't expect us to be lawyers, so he doesn't grade us as such. Considerate for test grades because he wants you to do well, if you obviously get the gist of the content and tried to explain it in good terms. He has charisma even on camera. Favorite phrase "This is fascinating stuff", you end up seeing how fascintating law really is too.

The class I took was half in-person and half online. Loved it! Awesome Professor!!! Really funny, great & easy class! He gives great feedback and will help you if you ask. He is very funny and gives great lectures! He is one of my favorite teachers! You will not regret taking his class.

Be on time. his weekly Quizzes are easy. Tests are fairly straight forward and he does allow 1 sheet with notes. take your time when reading his Quiz/Tests they can get tricky. For the most part, you know what you're to have to do. Pretty easy just apply yourself.

I loved this class, I learned so much and it was so well explained. The videos made it super easy to retain. The only critique I have is that when answering questions he does play devils advocate to both sides without specifying, so be sure to touch on that in responses. Take notes on the scenarios as well, they do come up alot in quizzes!

Make sure you watch the lecture videos and take lots of notes. Everything you need to know for the weekly quizzes and midterm/final is on those videos. The midterm and final were written answers, he was a tough grader on those. The weekly quizzes were pretty easy. No extra credit, so make sure you do good on all the assignments.

Professor Keliher is one of my favorite professors at Grossmont. Taking him in FA-23, even though I am not a business major, I took this class because I want to go to law school. He is so knowledgeable and caring. I learned SO much from him and he is truly an inspiration. Two exams: midterm and final, in person and free response. Be ready to study.

He used recorded videos of himself for lectures - really helpful as it helps you narrow down what to learn for quizzes and exams. Lectures were insightful and easy to watch. Quizzes and discussion boards were easy tasks, but exams required you to think more. Instructor is goes above and beyond.

Lectures were full of information but were really interesting! Prof. Keliher wants you to succeed & helps with anything you need. There was a midterm and final, both in the same format (IIRC, mostly free response). Use the study guides he posts when you're making your cheat sheet & take note of all the case examples because they'll show up!

Professor Keliher's BUS125 class is a solid option. The video lectures make the content accessible, and with some diligent note-taking and study using Unstuck ai, you can do well on the assessments. The workload is manageable if you stay on top of it.

I've taken Keliher three seperate times for business 120,121, and 128. He's a great professor, and makes sure you learn the material without making you suffer haha. Lectures were always interesting. If you take in person then attendance is mandatory and tardiness isn't allowed or you can risk being dropped.

The assignments were all pretty easy, he only had quizzes, discussions, and exams. You can get an easy A just by paying attention to the lectures and knowing the content from the free online textbook.

This class was pretty easy but the exams were pretty hard, he does give you a chat sheet for the exams though and he is pretty funny too. His lectures were basically the same thing every day just different topic, he would show us PowerPoint slides and we'd do notes. He also was very leanient on grading, good professor overall.

I took the 6 week summer course so the workload was much higher than most classes, but even then it was manageable because of the really helpful lectures the professor provided. You should 100% take this course if you need bus125 cause he's one of the best professors I've ever had.

Took his hybrid course, and tbh you won't regret taking him. Lectures once a week in person and assigns 1 quiz a week (online multiple choice), sometimes a discussion board too. Provided a free online textbook, I honestly didn't open it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND WATCHING THE VIDEOS. Ur allowed one cheat sheet for the midterm and final (10 questions each).
