Very rude and not at all helpful. Worst professor I have ever had.

UGH! Horrible! If you value your GPA, stay AWAY! This professor wouldn't give me anything above a C regardless of what I did (and no, I didn't have attendance or study issues). When I asked for help, he refused. What a jerk!

I have no idea what this guy wanted from me (or anyone else in my class, for that matter). The man's a screwball who seems to get a kick out of watching his students squirm. Completely immature and NOT HELPFUL!!!!

Pretty much a total sarcastic jerk. I coudn't stand sitting through the class and I almost dropped it because he was such a jerk. I ended up getting a C and not learning a single thing. Don't buy the book because it is a total waste. Just avoid him and you should do well!!

I thought at first he was a nice guy but after the first speech i noticed that he was a total jerk. I would recommend that people not take hime but if you do make sure to keep all the grades he gives you b/c at the end he may try to give you a C when you really deserve a better grade

He's a fairly easy prof, but he's never clear on anything. I could never figure out what it was we were to do in his class. he is very picky about his speeches and isn't clear on what or how to do them. He seems quite sarcastic when you ask him Q's. It was the worst part of my day.

by far one of the worst teachers i have ever had. always sarcastic, looks bored during your speeches, tests seem easy but are hard, NEVER clear on what he wanted. do not take this professor.

There is NO pleasing this man! Email your outline to him, correct it, email it back to him, correct it, repeat process 123 times. He will find something NEW wrong with it everytime! He is also snide and borderline rude, and totally has the "**** mustache" look going!

I failed the first test and speech and dropped the course. He wasn't clear and I didn't feel comfortable enough to talk to him because he was so condensending. I took the same class with another instructor and made an "A" the very next semester.

I thought you had to have communication skills to TEACH communications...? Very. Very. VERY rude. Acts like he doesn't even want to be in class or even alive.

He is not a good teacher. He does not explain anything in full detail. Never email him a question or you will get back an aweful remark from him. Everyone does! He does not care about his class. I think he enjoys being mean to the students! He always looks like is going to fall asleep during speeches. He really could care less! Don't take him.

DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY!!! He's very vague about assignments, doesn't grade fairly and generally unapproachable. I was actually excited about taking speech (I love public speaking) but had a hard time comprehending what was expected because of vague assignments. Take Allison Ainsworth instead.

Unpleasant, did not make the class fun at all, and was rude. Most people feel intimidated by public speaking, and he did nothing to ease their discomfort. I dropped the class because of his lack of personality/bedside manner. He's boring, speaks in a monotone, and should be replaced by someone who likes to teach.

was really interested in public speaking going into the class, he was not. He gets so hung up on proving your sources were good he doesn't listen to your speech. He grades unjustly.

Horrible. Decides early on who he likes and who he doesn't, then treats - and grades - everyone accordingly. He has no business teaching.

Brian Kline is the lamest excuse for a teacher I have ever met. He is extremely vague in his assignments and will not help you if you have questions. He is very demeaning and makes you feel like a little child. I would not recommend taking him to anyone. I use to enjoy speeches, but he ruined my views the subject. Terrible!

This guy is probably one of the worst teachers. He tells you something one time and expects you to remember to the last day of class. He makes you feel like an idiot if you ask him any question and he does not help you at all. I would not recommend taking him because he is boring and does not want to be there at all.

DO NOT TAKE THIS GUY!! He might have been ok in his Maymester classes but not in his regular semester hybrid class! He never helped with anything unless you pried it out of him. He switched books this year but did not switch the test questions and assumed that the book went over the questions on the test....well the did'nt! 2/3 got a C.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST TEACHER IN THE WORLD!! I cannot believe the state pays this guy to teach. The textbook does not apply to the class at all. He will not answer any questions you have and he gives you a 5 question pop test during the semester! Terrible Terrible experience. Dont take his class.

This guy is the crappiest teacher i have had my whole college career, does not listen when you have problems, no lead way what so ever, and very very boreing. I would not take him agian

I attempted to take his online COMM class & it was a joke. He had jumbled up dates from 2006 & 2007 when I was in his class Fall 2010. I emailed him for help because his poor directions were useless and all I got was smart responses that were unhelpful. Save yourself the headache and waste of time and do not take him.

I dont know what everyone else is talking about. This class was easy! Only touched my book twice, he use mostly power points But warning: this man is so utterly vague! If you need alot of teacher-student interaction to survive then he's NOT the one for you. I got an A and I hate public speaking.

He is a very vague teacher. If you need clear instruction on something FORGET IT. He grades pretty rough and he is really hard to learn from/listen to because he doesn't have very much enthusiasm. It is mainly power points. It def. doesn't seem like an "intro" class to me. He throws you right in. I took the interpersonal comm. class.

I am taking his class online as a dual enrolled student, and I am frustrated by his lack of communication skills (especially considering what he teaches). He has responded to most emails in a rude and unclear manner. Just trying to work hard & get good grades and his condescension is frustrating. I have good grades so far so no complaints there :)

Took him for an online communications class; his communication skills are awful. None of the quizzes had due dates; he put everything in the course calendar- never posted anything else. The names of quizzes to take on the calendar didn't line up with the names of the quizzes under the quiz tab. Would not take online ever again. Easy assignments tho
