Prof Kram teaches well sticking to detailed lectures and slides. He's helpful to the extent of answering most questions. He is very friendly and jokes around often. In lab he explains things well (for the most part) and gets involved with every student on their own levels. His patience is okay but can be tested. Keep in mind he is fairly new to pgc

Great professor! Always willing to help. Just pay attention in class and you should definitely do well. The lab quizzes are weekly and easy, you just really have to make sure you pay attention and take good notes. I rarely studied just paid attention and did well! He is really nice! I really recommend his class!

Professor Kram is a nice instructor. You have to pay attention during his lectures. The great thing is that he post everything on blackboard for review. Just keep up with the weekly Lab Quizzes which coincide with the Lecture Partner Quizzes (Classroom Quizzes). You get to partner up with a classmate for these quizzes which was a real benefit.

I HAD MR. KRAM FOR LAB AND HE WAS AWESOME. HE KNOWS ALL HE IS TALKING ABOUT AND HE KNOWS HIS MATERIAL. HE IS VERY FUNNY THROUGH THE STRESSFUL COURSE. HE KEEPS YOU INTERESTED IN THE SUBJECT.

He is a quite decent teacher. If you fail his class, it would kind of be your own fault. His teaching is straightforward and clear, plus he is reasonable. Just study (or memorize) key points from the lecture and you should be fine.

Prefessor Kram is a great professor. I took him for summer 2 and past (YES! you MUST study everyday and do all work and you will do well. I am so glad I had him for Biolody1010. he does not have the red pepper for nothing. Take him if you wan to learn, pass and not be stress. I wish there were more professors like him.

He was a thorough yet easy-going professor which is a relief for summer. He didnt require us to buy both textbooks only the lab manual which saved us all money. He was professional, yet funny, articulate. This was not an easy course but gives good study guides. I definitely recommend taking his class if you have the option!

His handouts are helpful and the power points are always available on blackboard. Unlike most teachers, what he teaches in class is actually on the test. STUDY and do your work, don't be afraid to ask questions, go to him when you need help and YOU'LL PASS! Honestly if you fail its because you played yourself.

Hands down the best prof I've ever had. He is very clear and patient. Gives study guides and practice exams for lecture exams. Lab quizzes are fairly easy. You must pay attention to understand material! He works with you if you have trouble understanding. No reason not to pass this class. I hated science before his class, got an A.

Professor Kram is one of those professors who will make you love the subject by introducing the material in a very dynamic way. His classes are fun, interesting and very CLEAR. If you do not understand something he will take extra time to help you out. Make sure you study super hard and he will give you an A.

Mr. "Kramberry" is an amazing teacher. I loved biology before taking his class, and it's great to have a teacher who loves the subject he's teaching. He doesn't give useless information, and gives a fun jeopardy review before every test. His study guides and practice tests are to closed to the real thing, there is no way you can fail doing it.

Mr. Kram is a brilliant teacher who is really knowledgeable in his field. He teaches his subject with such eloquence and clarity that most anyone can understand. He is also really nice, and helpful. This Professor is really awesome! The best professor I have ever met in PGCC. He is very helpful and make students are interest in Biology. He doesn't require the students to buy lecture books except lab book. You can get an A if you take notes in class and review them before the test. He is very hot teacher too. Professor Kram was one of the best teachers I've ever had. He told you exactly what was going to be on the test an what to study. He did not require a text book in my class so I didn't spend hours reading things I wouldn't need on the test. Makes class fun by giving fun activities such as jeopardy. Very approachable. Don't be late on the quizzes!

Professor Kram is the best, he has a great way of teaching that students can learn and have a good understanding of biology on a intro level. His teaching methods are not over the top and you will learn the basic of biology. I recommend this class to students that want to have a good teacher that honestly care about his students learning.

Took the summer class which lasted 1 month but passed! He makes it easy to learn and a lot of hands on activities. I wasn't good in Bio in high school but he has a great way of teaching!

Professor Kram was a very very very very TOUGH grader, He is one of those professors who expects his students to be very specific when it comes to short answers on his tests. His lectures aren't boring at all just long. Just take great notes and study the power points and the study materials he posts on BB and you should be fine.

Mr. Kram was my fist college professor and he did an awesome job in easing my nervousness about college professor stereotypes. He's a really great and easy teacher (as long as you follow his rules and respect him).

He's an overall great professor. If you do all your assignments and don't skip class you should be good to go as he drops your bottom 3 lab quiz grades. Make sure you study for tests as far in advance as possible because the tests are the hardest thing that I've ever had (I am a 3.0 student) that's what dropped my grade so much.

Biology can be a tough subject. With your own hard work and Mr. Kram help you will pass. There are 3test 13 quizzes and a Final he drops of three lowest quiz grades.

Prof. Kram is the best. He is extremely organized, and fair. I dont recommend missing his class, if you miss one class you will fall behind!! He gives very detailed study guides and tests are easy (study like hell for the chem one though). If you are looking to truly LEARN Bio, take Kram. He also talks fast: non-native english speakers beware.

I really loved his class. He is very structured and he really knows what he is talking about. He explains everything in depth and also posts it all online. You can access him outside the class in his office and email. His exams are kinda hard but if you study hard and ask questions, he will answer and you will pass. He's also very hot LOL

He's very straightforward, you have one shot at everything. Keep up with the quizzes and homework. Take notes, submit all work on time, STUDY and you'll be fine.

Bring a video camera record to all the lectures because the tests will have a question on a random fact that he says out loud that is not on the powerpoints. Also, buy the recommended textbook that explains more in depth ( if it is in your budget). That was something that I regret not doing.

I took Prof. Kram last semester and I can say he is a great teacher! He was very clear and broke things down for students. He also drew some things out on the board to break something down even further. He gave extra credit by playing a jeopardy like game before an exam.

Kram provides study guides and PowerPoint's on Blackboard that will prep you for the lecture exams and Blackboard quizzes. A textbook is not necessary since all of the content is taught during class and from PowerPoint's. He will occasionally crack jokes, which is a nice break from his straightforward demeanor. A fantastic professor that can teach.

Professor Kram made one of my worst subjects enjoyable. A great balance between giving students the information needed to pass exams and making lectures fun and engaging. He uses review games to help motivate students to study up right before exams, and it works wonders. He also makes sure that students' needs are met. A solid choice.

Really good professor, was able to pass with an 85% but I missed an exam. Really dedicated to being a BIO professor. Learned alot and retained alot. Keep on top of due dates as he won't remind in class but he'll have a schedule or assignment calendar online.

I enjoyed having Prof Kram. He is very respectful and well organized. You will have to make sure you study for the exams! It's a lot to study, but it all ensures you will pass. If you don't study, you can forget it. I would have like to have a study guide for the lab exam however. I could have got a B, had I studied better, sooner.

I took his class in fall 2019 and unfortunately I could have changed my C to B because I wasnt putting in much effort. Just read all the slides he gives and follow the study guides he gives. The extra review games he does give extra credit

I was worried of taking Biology 1010 online in the summer during a pandemic because of the labs. Though it did make it a bit harder, Professor Kram posted narrated PowerPoints with YouTube videos and explained the material in great detail in a way that is easy to understand. I didn't use the textbook much for the lectures, but I did for labs.

I loved professor Kram's lectures because it was very direct and broken down thus easy to understand. He constantly sent out reminders for upcoming assignments and tests. He was also very understanding to his students throughout the semester. The best part was we did in-class revisions of chapters and possible questions before every test opening.

Prof. Krams bio 1010 class is pretty easy in my opinion, you just gotta watch the pre-lecture videos which are usually graded as homework, and it explains most of everything that will eventually be on the unit tests. There is a lot of assignments but they tend to all be pretty easy.

Professor Brian Kram is one of the best teachers I have had this year. He is organized and ready to answer any questions you have. The only bad thing about him is the amount of work he gives, but other than that, he is a great teacher. I would highly recommend him for a BIO1010 class

He is an amazing professor, literally one of the best at PGCC. His lectures were easy to understand and if you had any questions, he was quick to answer in brevity. His quizzes were only easy if you attend his lectures and complete/read over your workbook. Also, very caring and funny. I would take him again.

He was not bad at all, although he did have to go on maternity leave so I didn't have him long. However, he left a nice structure of work and weekly assignments which was not confusing at all. Although biology is hard, I think it would have been way worse with another professor.

Professor Kram is honestly the best. His lectures are well spaced out and straight to the point. I would recommend coming to class because we so have graded assignments that we do in class. We only used the textbook for lab and the quizzes and exams are easy if you pay attention in class. His slides are very informative and gives lots of help.

Professor Brian is one of the best teachers in PG. Take him you won't regret it. He gives extra credits. He cares about his students and is always available if you need help. Professor Brian has a study guide in each unit. The study guide will help you prepare for exams and lab quizzes; so be sure to study with that.

I absolutely loved Professor Kram's class. He would have us work in groups and play little games to help us get engaged and actually enjoy learning. If ever you do not understand something, just ask him and he was always accessible during office hours. Take his class and I promise you will not regret it. He is very passionate about teaching.

Overall a good professor. But, if you are a student that also has more responsibilities and other classes to tend to, this is probably not the class for you. His assignments are tough and he does a lot of group work which sometimes creates an inconvenience. My fears of lab were confirmed and rather would have taken it in person than online.

Professor Kram was a great teacher. Class was completely online, quizzes were open book. As long as you do the work, you're going to pass. He is very professional, can be a little boring at times and lack personality, but does not matter if you are passing I guess! Email can be a toss up, but overall take this class for an easy grade.

Professor Kram is a caring respectful professor. I took him remotely for BIO 1010 and passed with an A. He's not really a tough grader. He'll give you chances if you have a valid reason. Just do your work and you'll be fine. You will have to read a bit and watch a lot of videos. Good luck!! :D

He's great at answering emails. This is in person class but most quizzes and classwork is done online outside of class. He is pretty chill overall and his work is easy just need to study to understand the material.

This Professor was the best honestly. Take him and go to class you'll get an A. the quizzes and HW are all do Sunday but some things are due in class so make sure you go to class. But super easy just read the material or use (chat) you will pass. he is super nice and will take time so you can understand the material.

Professor Kram makes biology engaging with interactive lessons. The workload is manageable if you stay on top of it. Using unstuck AI and the free textbook really helped me ace this class.
