Straight forward class. Weekly journals and 3 papers single spaced. Submit things on time and you will be fine. No midterm and 1 paper for final.

If you don't understand a grade he gave you, you can sit down with him and he'll go into it in depth, and allow you to revise it. Great teacher and guy.

Mr. Maj is the best professor I've had, granted I'm a freshman. He goes above and beyond and shows that he really cares about your success. He is always willing to help and will give you extensions as long as you communicate your problems with him. Amazing professor! He actually cares about you but not only that, his class is easy in general. Although there are papers every week, they are simple papers that don't takes only a little over an hour to finish. His lectures however are boring and you may feel like you just want to skip class but it's better to stay as attendance is a key grade.

My favorite professor at DePaul so far. His class goes far beyond writing, I learned so much about life and how to interpret knowledge. There are weekly writing assignments, but they are simple and approachable. If you miss class, you have to write a one page response, but you probably won't want to miss class because his lectures are so engaging.

Professor Maj is a very down to earth and thoughtful professor and is also very knowledgable about the business school and DePaul in general if you ever have any questions or just need life advice. I took him for Discover Chicago and we had company visits every week which was really unique, though there was a fair amount of homework each week.

There isn't much you can say bad about Professor Maj. He's an amazing teacher providing insightful lectures and allowing for students to lead in-class discussions. Class structure consists of company visits and in-class analysis afterwards. He's a fantastic professor to have as a freshman as he is a great source of advice and wisdom. 10/10!

Brian was a very chill and fun teacher. He was a great professor, but the content in BUS 101 made me dread the class every week. His only flaw was how fast he moved through powerpoints because some of the content "wasn't important," even though they were for the quizzes.

Such a great class! We visited many companies and got to interact with them. Assignments are straightforward and teach you to think critically. Professor poses great rhetorical questions that get you thinking. He cares about students' well-being and encourages them to connect what we learned to the real world. The final consists of a written paper.

This was a brand new class that, from a student's perspective, needs A LOT of work. Brian seemed like a good professor, but the weekly content of the course was nearly unbearable. PowerPoints drag on and lead up to a midterm that most the class failed. Second half of the course consists of group paper and presentation.

This is the best LSP 100 class. You will visit many businesses and he always makes it fun. If you turn in all your work you are guaranteed an A in his class. By far, one of the most impactful courses I have ever taken, led by an incredibly passionate and intelligent individual. I would recommend this course with no hesitation and gladly take any others offered with Brian. It is truly inspiring to watch someone this passionate and dedicated teach.

Star Trek: Voyager and Ethics is an easy once a week class on Wednesday where you have to stay the full class period from 6 to 9:15 but it is very easy so long as everything is turned in on time. He allows revision on every assignment and gives full credit even for late work.

He gives good feedback on assignments, there is a lot of reading but it is manageable. There are also a couple of essays but those are also pretty easy.

Professor is very kind and empathetic, if you ever run into an issue he is open to helping any student. I recommend him for your LSP 112 or any class he might teach.

Amazing and understanding. I'm so lucky to have taken his class, he's changed my life for the better. Take the time to get to know him on an individual level, you won't regret it.

I took him for a 5-week course, and his assignments are easy. He gave me 100% on all of my assignments and allowed me to redo an assignment. If you have him for a 5-week course, beware of 4 assignments each week with two discussions and two assignments to do which are easy to do! I recommend taking him.

He says at the beginning of the quarter that students guide the class discussion and are required to participate. Don't sign up if you walk in late nor talk

This is THE BEST professor at DePaul. Cares so much about students and makes your life easy. He MAKES STUDENTS TALK AND ENGAGE in class so make sure to participate. A couple kids failed for showing up late or not talking in class. He also wants you to write your open mind and life experience in your essays so he caught a couple kids using AI

The class was graded and WEIGHED HEAVILY ON PARTICIPATION. Make sure to arrive to class early and be prepared to contribute to pass. If so, you will have a great time and pass

Good class. Grade is made up of participation which is class contributions + attendance/timeliness. He does not accept tardiness and will mark you absent at class start. More than 1 absence and you fail the course. Outside of that, great class discussions and thoughtful assignments. It will make you think about your life and debate other students!

One of my favorite professors. He is funny and caring. His lectures are great even though the topics can be really technical or difficult. The way he speaks just gets your attention which helps. He interacts and talks with the class keeps it interesting and he is very responsive and willing to meet outside of class hours. PARTICIPATION MATTERS

The professor was kind, but the class was challenging. Participation played a big role, and there was a heavy workload with lots of homework. The final included a handwritten free-writing assignment, followed by an extended lecture. While the structure felt demanding and outdated, the professor clearly cared about student engagement

Difficult seminar on the future of work. There were papers, debates, and discussions with 2-4 questions due before class that were easy. Reading about every night that go along with the discussions. I found that I did need to meet outside of classes because the 3 graded class debates were difficult and took hours of preparation

This class was difficult, but I learned a lot. We had to write essays for key ideas/ questions and turn them in before each test. You'll need time for readings. Study your notes a lot. Essays involved writing philosophies from a list of key readings and a multi page essay question. He's a good guy and accessible outside of class if you need help.

This class was a lot of critical thinking from reading and writing papers. I spent around 12 hours a week outside the class preparing for the discussion but it was so worth it. If you are looking for a great liberal arts seminar, this is the class. He fails you if you miss more than 1 class, show up late, or don't contribute to the discussion

I found that this class was a lot for me but if you want to take an engaging liber arts course, this is it! Before the class started, we had to read an article on the philosophy of AI and work. He then assigned us into debate teams within 10 minutes of class. I dropped the course as it wasn't for me

So much reflective writing but it was my cup of tea! We had to watch 3 hour long lectures and quote parts of it in our weekly essays. Not the class to take if you are looking to pass by. Still recommend it for those Aristotle nerds out there!

This class was really rigorous but interesting. Only take this if you are looking for a liberal arts experience. There are 2 readings for the week, 1 ethics and 1 real-world. You then write an essay that ties those concepts to your life. You take those ideas and have a class discussion that you must contribute an idea that furthers the conversation

Honestly this was one of my hardest classes. I am so used to showing up to class and then going home to do my homework. This class was very much the other way around, you read and write and then present your ideas in class. This was too much for me but if you like open discussion seminars, take this course!

BUS 392 is one of the best classes I've taken at DePaul. He's strict about attendance and being on time, but it sets a professional tone that prepares you for the real world. The class definitely requires effort readings, discussions, and assignments but everything feels meaningful. You'll leave a stronger writer, thinker, and communicator! Take!!!

We read and do reflections on the readings for a majority of the class, but he encourages us to focus on them being genuine, not perfectly written (DO NOT USE AI, HE WILL CATCH YOU).
