I had this professor in the past..He is just great! At first he does give you the idea that he might be difficult, but once you talk to him he is cool! I enjoyed his class and the way he teaches is great! He's easy going and a fair teacher, he listens to the class and their opinions. He really makes learning easy and effective.

He is a great teacher. He understands the students in the class, and helps you when you need it. He is very friendly and easy to talk to during and after class. The assignments are fairly easy and can be easily completed. If you are taking SLS 1503, then he is your teacher. 9/10

This guy is chill. Just don't talk while he is lecturing. He'll stop whatever he is doing and ask what you are talking about. He doesn't play that****. trust me you don't want to see that side. So stay quiet and you'll be straight.

Mr. Montalvo included many outside resources to supplement the course, such as various media and guest speakers. He was very original with his presentations and made the class very fun! His ongoing parallels with running and being a college student are simply brilliant!

Mr. B is a well-informed and educated man. He has a quirky way of relaying messages which I think is appropriate especially for the younger students.

Warning if you are looking for an easy A, this is not the guy to pick. If you are intrested in learning something you can take with you, than pick this guy. He is easy to talk to, has jokes and really is an excellent professor.

I couldn't of asked for a bettr SLS teacher. Brian Montalvo kept the atmosphere of the class very laid back and comprehensive. He was eager to answer any questions I had regarding class, ad was willing to stay after class to answer them as well. Overall, the class was alot of fun, and taugt me a good deal about writting and time managment.

This will quickly become your favorite class, and professor montalvo will become your favorite professor. he is inspirational & cute!

Brian Montalvo's encouragement was a great help during this course. He does more than teach, he gives you the opportunity to learn. If there is a person in this class that does not pass, it is not because they weren't given the tools. Brian is an exceptional teacher and I will look for chances to take him again.

I have taken Professor Montalvo twice because of his great teaching abilities and I definitely enjoy his classes. When I transfer to FAU I will possibly take his class again.
