VERY helpful. He's always ready to check email all the time. I'm doing great in the class too!
Very helpful and patient with all the silly questions we have. very quick to respond to questions by email. Really knows his stuff

Mr. Morgan is very professional with his classes. He is very intelligent and knows what he is teaching. Always looking for the lastest on the edge of technology. very easy to talk too
Best to take for any computer course. Exams are self-explanatory. Take him for the INTERNET course if you can!!!!!!
good teacher, quick with email returns, and easy to get along with.

Awesome teacher and a christian, what more can you ask for in a teacher!!
A lot of people don't like his style of teaching. But it made class simple, I passed with a minimum of effort (and with A's, I might add).
Very Good Teacher...Quick with E-Mail return messages...Very nice guy...Very willing to help if situations arise.
Brian Morgan is the best teacher I've ever had a MU. Always very helpful, VERY friendly, Christian, KNOWS his technology, and always available through e-mail. Very easy to talk to and very understanding. Take him if at all possible!!!
His grading style and personality has greatly improved, or at least for this course it has. Very knowledgeable and quickly returns email.
Very helpful...computer froze on one of my tests and he didn't give me any crap about it just asked for a new date when I could make it up..Tests are easy and he is very understanding...A+ teacher
Very clearly explains every detail and won't hesitate to help you out if you need it. I've learned a lot in his classes! Best teacher I've had so far! He's a smart, sexy beast! Yummy! LOL :P
He will help you anyway that he can..... Expecially if you are not good with computers... Should get cood grades!!!!!
Took Intro. to Internet and learned a lot. Brian is a great teacher and a great person. Schools need a whole lot more teachers like Brian. He really cares about teaching and every student.
Awesome guy. Very funny, and great to have in class, and a great lecturer. He very clearly explains concepts in a down to earth way. I would love to have him for as many classes as I can. Just come to class and study, and DO THE LABS!
He is a great guy who will spend all his free time trying to help all the students he can! He is especially knowledgeable about his subjects. Great teaching methods and also nice to look at :)
At the beginning of the semester he downplayed his ability to lecture, yet I have learned more from his lectures than from any other professor. He makes the material easy to learn and understand. Also a great storyteller.
Great Professor
mmmmmmm... ohhhh yeah.... sexy beast

GREAT!! VERY HOT IN JEANS
Both of my Linux b0x0rZ agree, Morgan is awesome!
He is an excellent professor and, although you can only catch him in the mornings, he is more than willing to take the time to help you via e-mail or in person. Course content is not so easy, but it's programming, not my strongest talent. He is very fun and comes highly recommended.
Very helpful and knowledgable. Makes class very interesting, funny, and enjoyable.
Mr. Morgan will go out of his way to help you. He will answer you e-mails at all hours of the day, and is always ready to help you during his office hours. The assignments are hard, but he will help you get through them if you get stuck. Makes class interesting and fun.
Brian is very helpful and I enjoyed this course from him. This was his first time teaching it (summer), and he was definitely very clear and I think he explained the concepts well to those unfamiliar with them. Overall a wonderful person and very funny. Just don't throw footballs in class. Or joke about his lawn.
I have taken quite a few classes from Brian and he is by far one of the best at Marshall. The assignments can be tough but he goes out of his way to help you. Highly recommended!
The internet class is pretty easy.Only consist of 4 assignments and 2 tests.Easy A.

I'm really enjoying his class, he makes it easy to learn and not bad to look at either.
Brian is a wonderful teacher. I would recommend him to anybody, especially people that do not have a clue about how to program. I highly enjoy his class.
This is the worst class I've had all year.
Excellent Teacher, excellent sense of humor. It is important that you turn in your assignments on time or there will be a grade cut. He is very willing to help, don't expect him to tell you how to do it but he will answer any questions. Wonderful professor.
Took this class online. Homework assignments not too bad. Wish he had given more idea of what to expect on tests. They were all different formats. You had to put work into it, but he was fair. Extremely helpful and responsive to questions/emails and replies quickly. Would take him again!
he is a good professor, easy on the eyes. the class seems very simple all the way through until the final which took my A to a C. Very hard final so study hard. Good professor.
morgan is a good teacher, especially considering that he teaches a hard subject to teach. funny guy, keeps class interesting, but not easy. I woudl recommend
Nice and funny. Class was not easy, but it was interesting and not terribly hard. I would definitely take Brian again. He was very pleasant.
Morgantron was the best proff I have had in a long time, he was very helpful and always fun! Awesome guy! Class was interesting and easy if you pay attention and follow along!
Amazing professor. Intro to Programming with him was a blast. He's a great guy, very clear, very helpful, and very funny. His homework assignments aretough but fair, he's a somewhat strict grader, but that's a good thing! He never seemed unfair at all,and he always pointed out where you went wrong and how to fix it for the next program assignment!

Everyone talks about good professors. He's absolutely one of the best. Very tough grader, but extremely helpful at all times, responds to email questions quickly. Hard tests, but you learn a lot. Actually knows the material he's teaching and gives clear lectures and great examples. If you're looking for easy A, go elsewhere. You have to earn it
TERRIBLE! He expects way too much for beginners learning C++. Does not explain anything! EXTREMELY PICKY! Hated Every Bit of It!!!
Do NOT take this professor. I regret taking him for this class. Yes, I learned in there but would have better from someone else. He grades WAY too hard and needs to spend more time with teaching and less with assignments. I highly advise against this professor.
Great professor. Last two reviews are bizarre. All time spent teaching programming examples on screen as we followed. Always asked if questions--usually met by crickets chirping. No time wasted, always teaching. Not an "easy" class, but A's obtainable if you worked. He even gave extra credit if you read ahead and included code not yet covered.
Brian Morgan is a wonderful professor. He knows what he is talking about and his classes are entertaining. He has an awesome sense of humor. He is a tough grader, but that comes with the territory of technology. You have to learn to do things right, or you won't be successful. He is always available to assist his students when they need help.
Good professor. He explains the material well and has a great sense of humor. The class seems easy at first, but about halfway through the semester it gets very hard. The examples he provides are nice, but some aren't relevant and aren't very helpful when you are doing your homework. Attendance isn't mandatory. Overall, good professor.
Knows the stuff he's teaching. For someone without prior coding experience, and even for someone without, the last few assignments will get rough. Overall great guy and professor.
If you have no coding experience then this will be very hard for you. He focuses on his cheering section in class of people who have had prior programming and the rest of you will just have to hang on. I did well but not because of anything he did. He does a poor job of conveying the concept a usually will be above you. Be careful!
Cannot convey the material to his students. By the 4th project, half of the students (about 26) were failing. This is not an easy class. If you have prior experience, then that should help you a bunch. Look for another option instead of this guy.
Dr. Morgan is an extremely helpful and knowledgeable professor. No matter the time of day, he'll always respond to your questions. He won't give you the answer, but he'll point you into the right direction. You need to read, or you'll be completely lost if you have no programming experience. Overall, he's a great guy and great Professor.
Be ready to work and walk out of the classroom confused if you don't have a background with this stuff. He is very helpful if you email him and is always ready to answer questions in office hours. You just have to motivate yourself to go.
Brian Morgan is a great professor, that strives to make sure his student's learn. He's quite the respectable man, with a passion to prove you are more capable than you had first believed upon beginning his class.
A tough grader but in all the years I've known him he's always done his best to help out his students, even more so than is helpful to his mental state, he'll be up at 1-2 AM some nights helping me with a project so he's always dedicated to his students. A harsh grader but the amount you learn is outstanding, a great guy overall.
A great professor overall. He can be tough but he's fair and will help you out if you ask for it. He doesn't take attendance but I highly recommend you DO NOT skip his classes, as there is a lot of important information in his lectures. Overall a favorite professor at Marshall, because he is helpful, funny, and friendly.
I didn't do well on the presentation, so this dropped me to a D. But very helpful and offered assistance, even on the weekends.
Brian Morgan isn't a bad guy, but he can be extremely rude and cocky at times. Has a "stuck in high school" personality. Also likes to act like his class is the only class you are taking.
Brian is a very tough professor. He is cocky and sometimes be a slight bit rude. The class is alright, but he needs to understand that the content should be taught for learning and not for the projects. I feel my learning was sacrificed for the projects. I would not recommend.
You do not want to take this class if you haven't taken any programming courses before or have had some prior web programming knowledge. Brain is a very skilled programmer and will make it tough on students to weed out the weak from the strong. This class is project driven and Brian will grade your projects hard. Expect to work hard in this class.
Great Professor. I loved the guy. He kept the class entertaining and was always helpful. If you email him, expect a reply the same day, no matter weekend or holidays. He is a tough grader, but the projects aren't too rough if you do them early and ask him for help.
Ask questions. Morgan will always get back to you and keep working till you get it.
He will work with you until you are sure you know what you're doing. Can contact at any time with questions and he will help you out. Does lectures assuming everyone's read the chapter, so read the book!

No time wasted, always teaching. Not an "easy" class, but A's obtainable if you worked. He even gave extra credit if you read ahead and included code not yet covered.
I had Brian Fall 2016. I thought he would be like the tough man ever but honestly, he is the one of the best programming professor. He might be a little cocky but it really didn't bother me at all. He has funny stories about his family & experience not something you get from much professor. willing 2 help you with anything if you put in the work
Good professor over all. Grades very tough though. Class can be very tough so ask questions.
the first 30 minuet will be about his x-wife, current wife, daughter, son and his home projects and then when only 30 minute left he rush and finish the course he doesn't gave you to practice in class and help you how to get there he expect you to know everything.
Professor Morgan is the best whenever it comes to the higher level CIT courses. He does have high expectations and grades highly on specific things, but he is also extremely helpful and passionate. His life stories are truly entertaining for those early classes, and he is very well rounded in technology no matter what.
Intimidating at first, but if you want a good grade always go in to office hours. Seriously-before EVERY project. However he does not care at all about people failing his class and probably won't curve so be aware.
Professor Morgan quickly noticed I wasnt striving to be the best I could be. This man never gave up on me. Encouraged me to work on passions. Remembered things about me, learned how I learn, and utilized this to our advantage. He made me go from failure to an Engineer at multiple Fortune 100 Companies. Cant say enough good! He doesnt give up! <3
Tough professor, but he is definitely willing to help as much as he can. Encourages students to ask questions. You will have to work really hard at this class, but you can definitely be successful. It's not easy, but again, ask for help if you need it, and he will respond quickly.
Extra difficult for no reason.
A class average exam was failing in the 40% mark. Said the exam was too hard but still didnt curve it or drop it. Lowest score was under 10%. If you dont need it: dont.
Answers emails back extremely fast but the course load is a lot. You work for your grade. Grades critically.
