I was nervous about taking calculus but after the first day with him, I was never nervous again. It is obvious through the way he teaches that he is extremely passionate about math. He explains things clearly and is hysterical. He will always have you learning and laughing each time you see him.

Brian is a great instructor. He is really good at explaining complicated concepts to make us understand. He used to be a high school teacher so we did a lot of activities to make the class more fun. He talks fast sometimes but that may be due to the fact that I took the class in the summer and we had a lot to get through. I would take again!

I literally hated math in highschool and this was my first time ever taking math in college . My experience was wonderful ! He gives you all the things you will need for checkpoints and tests . He gives test reviews as well and extra points for the final . If you pay attention and ask questions you will definitely pass its not hard at all.

2019: He is a great teacher. Do the work on time and the test reviews and study them. If you do all that you will do fine in Stats! If you are not clear on anything, ask him questions. Attendance is important for you can only miss a certain amount of classes and you do not want to miss lectures. Videos are very helpful with studying and assignment.

He is amazing! I would recommend to anyone. He is easily distracted (in a good way) and if you need a break ask if he will play Love on Top. It is his favorite song. He will play it and then get back to the lecture. He is funny, hard working, and he is always available. He will email you back immediately if you have any questions on the material.

Great professor, literally did the homework in class. I probably did homework outside of class once or twice. The only thing I did outside of class was review for tests. He's really funny and enthusiastic!

Dr. Pidgeon has such a great vibe it makes you want to go to class. He is funny and he always helps students understand the topics. He always reminds students of guidelines and he goes through a lot of problems in class so there is rarely homework unless you have to finish classwork.

I'm retaking this class and knew I was gonna pass the 2nd time with him. He really cares about students learning the material and helping us understand. He goes over everything with you in class and even does the homework with you. Everything from the assignments will be on the test, so there aren't any surprises. 10/10 recommend.

Mr. Pidegon is a good professor, he goes over the assignments in class, but reading has to be done outside of class. Overall, this is a pretty smooth class, just make sure you keep up with the work and come to class.

Took him for the summer, loved his class. He made the online lecture interesting to sit through. Class was graded by three tests, final, ten quizzes, and attendance. We had "optional" homework that was to help us better our understanding of course material. If you ever have any questions, email him and he'll reply to you ASAP. Highly recommended.

Summer 2023. Dr. Pidgeon is super chill, sweet, and dorky (in the best way). He responds to emails at lightning speed and he does everything he can to help students succeed. Expectations are clear. Professor Brian was a great professor to have. There was a lot of material in the course and he taught it very well. The quizzes stressed everyone out but if you do the optional homework they are taken from that. Tests were hard and really made sure that we knew the topics. Honestly, Brian's an angel of a professor. Probability and statistics is just a difficult class to begin with. Do the work to the best of your ability, study hard, talk to him, go to lectures, basically participate to the best of your ability, and Brian will make sure your efforts are rewarded. Office hours are a big plus too.

Took him for MATH 4752 but couldn't find the course. AMAZING! 2 tests (one is take home) and Final Homework due almost every week but not bad. Just do NOT copy straight from the internet he checks chegg and will write you up! Such an easy course for this level of complex math as long as you study the homework and attend class. Took him in the spring for 4752. He's extremely accessible outside of class (responded to emails within minutes), a very good lecturer, and highly knowledgeable. His grading is fair, but harsher than most profs. He will sometimes give extra credit though. 100% take him he's awesome.

Probably the best professor I've ever had, despite online summer class constraints! He packed a lot of difficult material I had struggled with in the previous 16-week semester into 8 weeks where I could understand the concepts.

He is very up to date with his lessons, 3020 would have been rated as a very difficult lesson, but the way he presents the content makes it much easier to understand. The homework exams are not intentionally difficult, he responds to emails very quickly, and he is very considerate of his students.

Super easy class, he literally gave "suggested homework questions" that were basically one to one to those on the final. You can earn up to 35 bonus test points for doing small assignments. He was also super accessible outside of the class. I emailed him couple of times at almost 12 am, and he responded in like 15 minutes.
