I have only had one class meeting with this guy but he seems really nice. Be warned, he will keep you the entire class time. We didn't even get out early the first day of class. However he seems nice, helpful, and willing to answer questions. This is his 1st semester teaching. I will post again at the end of the semester.

Nice guy, seems to know his stuff, IB 333 was pretty easy with him as a teacher, however he always keeps you the whole class period

Fantastic teacher. One of the best I've had at WSU. He really knows his stuff, doesn't waste your time, will ALWAYS help and is such an agreeable guy I can't imagine students hating him. The only drawback is that he kind of spoon feeds the tests to you so getting an A isn't exactly a special achievement.

Took his presession class and was one the the easiest presession classes I have taken. He goes over the review right before the test and even states how a questions might be changed on the test. If there is an especially hard question on the test he tells you the exact question verbatim along with the answer.

Great Teacher, knows his stuff. Class consist of 3 test, group project, and a personal project. Go to class, do your projects and you should get an A!! He does a great review before each test.

Brian is one of the best instructors I have ever had at WSU. He brings real life experience into the classroom which is very beneficial to learning. I would highly recommend this instructor. You will not regret it.

Brian has a passion for teaching. He is a great instructor. He cares about the students learning. He makes his classes interesting and fun. He is my 2nd favorite instructor at WSU, my 1st is Bob Keefer for STAT370. Take as many classes as you can from Brian, I promise you will learn a lot and enjoy his classes.

Mr Rawson was a very good professor. He is probably one of my favorite teachers at WSU. He was very helpfull and used a lot of his past experiences as examples. His class was very fun to go to. Take his class if you get a chance, you will like it better than your other classes.

LOVE LOVE LOVE!! this teacher. He helps you out on ur study guide but also switches it up for those who try to memorize the answer. HAS ALOT OF PAST EXPERIENCES that are very interesting. HE KNOWS HIS STUFF!! really wants to help the students out. TAKE HIM!!!

He is very helpful and easy! Gives you practice questions for exams, all of which are on the tests. Sometimes he switches it up a little but it's very easy to get an A. Take him!!!

Very helpful instructor. I took him for MGMT 360 and am going to take him again in MGMT 460. He gives you a study guide that actually covers what will be on the test. Great teacher and I recommend everybody take him.

By far the best teacher I have ever had. He is the first business teacher I have had that worked in the business world. He knows his stuff from his life corporate experiences, not from a text book. You will get an A in his class if you try. Many people say he is easy, I thoink he just teaches that well.

I thought Mr. Rawson was excellent. He brings real world experience to the classroom and knows what he is talking about. He has a very conversational style and I enjoyed his lectures. Tests were fair and he seemed to be truly interested in teaching and in us learning the material. I would not hesitate to take another class from him.

Favorite teacher at WSU! Really makes you think about different points of view and different organizational styles. Helps you stray away from just doing the norm because it's 'what everyone else is doing.' Great teacher - got a lot more out of this class than anticipated.

Take him for all you can! though he goes the full class each time, he's very interesting and brings a real world experience. Our class had no book but had to buy a coursepack of case studies/readings. Quizzes are open book, and tests weren't too bad at all.

He is a great teacher! Probably my favorite at WSU. He does keep you the whole class time. He is big on projects, but they are really easy and most of the time about improving yourself somehow. I have taken all classes that he teaches and would take more if I could.

The most useful class I have ever taken. Period. If you want to learn how to be a successful businessperson, then take his class. It doesn't matter what major you are. Even if the class doesn't help you towards your degree you will be extremely happy you took it, and it's not a heavy workload either.

One of the best teachers i have had while at WSU. His lectures are heart felt, and he really does care about the students. Its a shame that some students only showed up for the exames. Not a heavy work load, he give a good study guide as well. Wish he taught Mgmt 681 would awesome!

One of the best professors I've ever had! He has real world experience that applies perfectly with what he teaches. He includes lots of interesting and fun techniques that really facilitate retention of the subject. It would be a sin to not take a class from him when given the chance!

Mr. Rawson tells some great stories and tries to give you some real insight into the world of business. The tests are multiple choice. There is a project with a report at the end. The book is a custom job that he has put together.

He is as good (if not better) than everyone says. I really enjoyed going to class everyday to listen to him lecture. He made me a lot more interested in business "theory" with the way he presented concepts. I took it as a pre-session (no projects) and it's an automatic A if you do the homework and go over the study guide.

He is great for an international business teacher because he has real world experience. He is a bit long winded, and I had a hard time figuring out how some of his stories pertained to the lesson. The quizzes are easy because they are open book open note, but alot of the questions you have to find in the book rather than learning them in class.

If you can, take this instructor. He gives you a study guide which is all you need to study to get an A on the test. I never dipped below 90% on any of the test. Attend the class following the test to get a lot of extra credit. Go to class is another great idea if you want an A.

Very nice instructor! Prof. Rawson actually cares about his students. He wants his students to learn something from his class and tries to make sure that they succeed. He gives insightful real-world examples and treats students with lots of respect. I would highly recommend taking his class!

He has a huge knowledge about business in real life . You don't have to show up in class but you can miss his extra credit. There are study guides for the exams. The book is quite complicated sometimes. Anyway, you just follow his study guide then you will be OK. Project is easy, no paper work.

Best professor in the school of business. I've taken three courses, about to take a fourth, from him and they have all been spectacular. He applies real world experiences and makes everything relatable. If you have the opportunity to take negotiation with him, take it, it will change your life. Read, study and pay attention, duh.

The best professor I have ever had. His 3 hour class flew by because I enjoyed it that much. Participation is important as he gives extra credit almost every class. Simply go over the study guide to ace the exam.

Mr. Rawson is an awesome teacher. He does teach for the entire 3 hours of class. His lectures were long but very interesting. He is not boring at all, attendance is not mandatory but do come to class if you want to learn. 1 or 2 quizzes a week and 3 exams total. Study his study guides and you will do well on his exams. Highly recommended.

Great teacher, gets students involved in lectures, and has a professional background in international business. Would recommend. Make sure to do quizzes on time and be prepared for him to not respond to emails.

Great professor! He makes me feel like I've actually got my moneys worth. Learned a lot from him about international business and just business in general. We discuss current life events and evaluated them together as a class. Very helpful and Intelligent. Definitely recommend!

Mr. Rawson is a great professor, it was a great experience to take this class with him. He really cares about us, and wants us to work in group for our project. All the group projects were amazing and this is because he is very inspirational and very devoted to his work. The quizzes are very easy if you read the cases. His lectures are long but fun

Brian Rawson is a really great professor. I would definitely take him again. You can tell he not only cares about your success in this course, but also your success in life. As far as work goes, there are 1-2 short quizzes online each week, 1 project, and 3 exams. If you fill out the study guides he provides and study them the exams aren't bad.

Brian Rawson is literally the best professor I've ever had. He cares about the course, the material, and, most importantly, your understanding of the material. He is one of the best business professors at Wichita State. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Brian Rawson has been one of my favorite professors by far. I'm not usually one to speak in class but his lectures are both interesting and relevant it's hard not to want to ask questions. The class is long but attending will help you learn so much more than just reading the book. I can't wait to take more of his courses!

Mr. Rawson is amazing! Probably my favorite professor, EVER! He is so compassionate and caring and he really knows what he is talking about. I will go out of my way in the future make sure I can take any classes he offers! He tries to give some extra credit. Attendance isn't required but he STRONGLY recommends you try and make it.

Mr. Rawson is great at actually using real life examples to show how and why the material matters. His lectures although long are easy to listen to. He also really cares about students and it shows. He purposely uses an old text book that one can rent for cheap! I think that is great!

AWESOME TEACHER! If you get the opportunity, take his class. He was able to give personal insight in IB since he lived and did business in Japan for years. His lectures are long, but they have so much substance that are related to other business principles besides IB. Just take his class; you won't regret it.

You're gonna have to present in this class. 20% of the grade is class participation tho and tests aren't that tough.

I liked Professor Rawson! We didn't have a textbook; we just bought a code for series of online PDF's. Cheap. Every class we had to make a post grading ourselves for participation. We had 1 semester long group project which was easy. Tests were okay, just make sure you do his study guide! His lectures went on tangents but it is worth going to class

Ive had 3 or 4 classes with Rawson and he is easily the best professor ive ever had

Went over real life examples that pertained to the cases we read as well as discussions of the cases. The only required materials was a case packet that you purchased online but I split with a friend. Afterwards you filled out a debrief of the days lesson which was normally up to your own interpretation with no wrong answers. Discussion heavy class

I love this class. I can tell Professor Rawson really cares about his students. He is my favorite Professor that I've had so far! With classes being virtual due to COVID, we are required to attend zooms and write a brief participation report after every class. They are easy points. If you show up to class, it will be very easy.

Mr. Rawson has a world of experience running a $1B company. His lectures consist of invaluable real world stories and lessons. Would highly recommend taking every course possible from him. By far the best professor in the Business School.

Brian was my favorite online professor. I loved his class and he has been one of my favorite teachers at Wichita State. I will be taking my final 2 courses before I graduate from him this spring and am looking forward to those as well. The courses I'll be taking from him this spring are MGMT 464, and IB 601!

Professor Rawson is a great teacher! Class is typically always engaging and he gives you real world scenarios with his stories. He takes no bs and will not baby you. Easy class to pass as long as do your readings and the exam reviews are the tests. You have to really not try to not pass his class.

One of the best instructors I've ever had. Fun and personable, yet still incredible instruction. His lectures are easy to listen to for the full 75 minutes, which is impressive.

Amazing class! I am taking two classes with Rawson right now and both are honestly the best classes I've taken at WSU. He's the first professor in 3 years that has made me interested in the class and a lot of my classmates will even stay late just to chat with him. Good class with useful information coming straight from professor Rawson's personal experiences in international business. 8am so not many people showed up, lots of opportunities for extra credit if you do show up. Just do all the work and you'll get a fair grade

This class is painfully simple. Show up to class and be wowed by the professor telling fun stories the whole time (he barely lectures, and when he does you don't even notice). Tests are simple, but can be tricky if you pay no attention at all. Take this class with Rawson he's a great dude and will make sure you pass.

Professor Rawson is a great instructor to take from, especially this class due to how it is formatted! I have never had a class structured like how he has it, and it was extremely interesting! There is a big group project at the end, so make sure that your teammates are dedicated, hardworking, and passionate about what you choose.

He's a really great guy. To be honest, I don't think I learned much in this class but that's okay. He's big on rambling a little bit but he's a really great person who truly cares about his students. Attendance matters, you'll have an attendance self-report due after every class.
