Excellent. Had him at SCC this summer and had a great class. Great sense of humor. I will follow him here at ARC for ECN 304 this Fall.

Most of the teaching is done from printouts from his website. He attempts to create a fun learning atmosphere - he played eco jeopardy and gave out candy prizes. Extra credit is available. Quizes are as expected.

Macroecon was pretty easy. I loved Professor Rosario's examples in class and I loved his teaching style! He makes econ interesting and hilarious. =] 4 exams. 4 homework assignments. 4 quizes. & extra credit opportunities in class. I highly recommend this class!

TAKE THIS CLASS!He is the best. online he has all the tests/quizs/hmwks from last semester which are almost the same. always talks about food and beer. I never read the book, and passed with B. He's a real cutie! Great sense of humor and makes a dry subject interesting. He's very fair with grading and does what he can to make sure class succeeds. He's GREAT. His powerpoint slides (you can print from online) cover what U need 2 know for tests. Very funny, great sense of humor. He awards lots of bonus points so you shouldn't have any problem passing. G an A with hardly any effort. I understood everything from his lectures and didn't need the book at all. Omg! This guy made economics so much fun! Powerpoint slides very helpful. No real need to take notes as he posts them on Blackboard. Has a GREAT sense of humor. Also has occasional bonus in-class assignments. Uses Scantrons for tests. Easy multiple-choice. Certainly knows his stuff! Very genuine guy! Lol! Also very particular about his Asian food.

He is the easiest economic teacher I've ever had had. But I still learned alot in his class and had fun. There's not alot of hw, The tests are all lecture based, and the quizzes are pretty simple. I think I pulled a 97% in his class without alot of headaches. He even lets you out early almost every class. He's a funny panda bear. Highly recommended

Just finish this class with B. Homework is once a week and it takes 20 minutes with like 30 mutiple choice. Agree with the other person with practice exam are not similar. Plus dont always got to show up because his notes are online.

Prof Rosario is one of the best instructors in ARC! If you show up and get the work done and give some effort, you should get the grade you deserve. He is new so not the best not the worst. Lectures are kinda boring. Jokes about girls being hot but think its serious cause he talks about how single he is. He needs a gf to make him happy and dress him in neater clothes not sloppy and holey. All in all a cool teacher if you are awake most of the time.

Rosario is a really cool professor. He gives you a lot of extra credit for doing the classwork and he pulls some of the questions from the practice exams and quizzes to the real thing! He lectures off of powerpoint, and they are also posted on the website you have to buy to do your homework. DON'T buy the book-it's online! Very easygoing and funny!

I learned so much about economics from this guy! Extremely easy-going and funny and really does care if you understand. He is a very easy going teacher. I only studied 2 hour before exam and got A's. Home work is online and not very hard. A lot of extra credit and fun to be in class. Take him, you will pass for sure.

There are two websites; one is aplia and the other one is D2L. In aplia, you pay $70 for the textbook and homework. In D2l, you just do discussion, quizzes which is every week assign. Even though I just started this class a few weeks ago, this instructor is very helpful and has such a great sense of humor! I went to his office hour when I had questions about HW and he explained it all very thoroughly.

Take him! he's good. come to class do all the online assign and you'll pass his class w/ a high grade. but of course study for his tests and read the chapters cuz like every class thats how you'll do well on tests. He is very nice and easy grader. Just do the homework. He provides alot of extra credit. He curves up the grade. Take him, you will definietly pass his class.

His tests are hard, but you get 2 chances for the HW, and it's online. Around time for finals, he hands out A's like candy! If you bring him a pizza on the day of the final, or if it's your b-day he might give you an A if your grade isn't too low. But you have to show up to class and don't leave early.

It's completely wrong If anyone who said he tried to confused you. I took his econ302&304 and both got A s. He gave us a lot of chances to make up if we did not do well on the big exam. Read the book and do the homework & quizes you will be fine, plus he normally tells you what will be in the test ,listen carefully in his class, take notes.

I really don't understand what all these people are complaining about. Rosario is an awesome profesor! Come to class, take notes, do the hw, and read the book. You will surely get an A. This professor is the coolest. Knows his stuff. I think the complainers are really stupid (and I can sense that), they either can't spell right or just mad because they got a low grade. Rosario is extremely helpful when you go to office hours.

Rosario is very knowledgeable and realistic about economics. He bases his lectures mostly on the book but includes real world examples. I thought his jokes were funny but then again I also have a peculiar sense of humor.Class isn't too boring if you're intersected and like economics.I recommend him. This professor knows what he's talking about. Gives you lots of extra credit opportunities. You have to do online work, but it's easy if you read the book. Great teacher and very understanding if you need an extension on a due date, even though the first day of class he scares you a little. He uses everyday examples to get the point across.

Professor Rosario was a really good teacher. I took the hybrid class, and enjoyed it. It was pretty easy - the homework, quizzes and tests were all online and open book. Mr. Rosario gave a lot of extra credit and really gave good examples of the harder math and graphing concepts in class. I didn't have to take the final, and still got an A.

He's one of the best econ teachers ever. Dry sense of humor, but that's what keeps it interesting. He's tough, and makes you work, but he's got an excellent way of explaining. I failed because I never showed up, it was entirely my fault. The funny thing is- I learned more from him in a few days of class than from any of my other econ profs.

Rosario knows what he is talking about, but I can see where students may have problems in his class. I thought the overall course was very easy, but remember to do the online homework and quizzes. I took this class over the summer - 8 weeks. Professor Rosario made the class interesting with his jokes and sense of humor. There were extra credit opportunities. The two lowest homework and quiz scores were dropped. Exams online open book - still very hard. Advertising project worth 40 points - very easy) Did not like My Econlab-glitches often.

I spent the summer getting ready for this class by reading AP prep books and getting the text one month in advance. Even with that it was necessary to read the book carefully to do well. The Pearson lab was invaluable to me. The lectures elucidated what I learned from the text. The professor was clear in his approach and easy to understand.

Total possible points: 540 (3 exams 100 pts each, homework 120 pts, quizzes 120 pts) Homework/quizzes online. Many extra credit opportunities that help at the end of semester with grade. Teacher very laid back and funny. He uses PowerPoint a lot and at times the board. Class gets out early often. If you want a fun class, take him. :)

SUPER EASY CLASS! anyone that says differently does not pay attention. He is extremely flexible. I missed a whole week of class, as long as you tell him in advance he should be fine with it. the whole grade has points from each exam, test, and quiz. As long as you do well in one area and get enough points you will be fine.

Hybrid onlineclassroom format. I liked his lecture style - he's funny and makes a dry topic interesting with relevant, real world examples. He is much easier to understand than the textbook. Tests are open book but still challenging with graphing, math, etc. Offers plenty of extra credit, sometimes just for being in class. I'd take him again.

Lectures were pretty clear, didn't have to do much reading, just do the homework. Was able to ace the tests. Pretty funny sometimes.

Hes funny, lectures are interesting, but my problem with him was that he taught the theory/key words of econ, but not the math part. When you got to the hw, you had to figure it out urself. However, hw you could do twice. Tests are hard, class average- around 65%. If you do all hw/quizzes & study for exams, you will get a B/C at the very least.

Hybrid class (face to face once a week and online). Awesome professor. Just show up and do your work.

Rosario is a great professor. His lectures are prompt and usually have some funny analogies to go along with the material. As long as students read the chapter whilst doing the online homework, you should get a passing grade. He offers plenty of chances for extra credit, making the class an easy pass.

The professor is funny, but straightforward about what he expects from his class. He gives three tests, homework on every chapter discussed and gives extra credit quizzes in class. Honestly, just do all the homework and don't miss class. His teaching style is okay.

As long as you show up to class on time, be respectful in his class, and do his assigned homework and tests on time, you will be fine. His lectures can be a bit vague, but ties it more to real life scenarios. Do all the extra credit and you will have a better chance of getting an A. Despite being stern at times, he's a funny guy as well.

Best Econ professor ever. I took 302 and 304 with him and got A's in both. He gives examples from real life that makes it easy to understand the material. He offers a lot of extra credit. There is no way you would do bad if you do the work. Just do the HW and quizzes on time and you should be fine.

Prof Rosario is fair and grades on a curve! He tries real hard but if your on your cell, he will call you on it. Puts real life experiences, great board examples, explains well, answers all questions.

I really liked this professor. He was funny and gave a lot of extra credit out to the students who actually attended his class. His homework is all online and his lectures are a bit confusing but he posts the powerpoint online so you can look over them yourself. 2 midterms and one final, none of them are cumulative.

Not inspirational so I would not recommended him to an econ student but if you just want to pass with a good grade he is your guy. Very clear grading will give extra credit if you always show up. Short tests and quizzes every week that require little reading to do well.

Good lectures, but too many stories. I wish he did more practice problems than just talking. Took 8 week course so every point counts. DO ALL THE EXTRA CREDIT HOMEWORK. Trust me, it's worth it for an 8 week course. Easy A as long as you do all the work without failing any of it. Would take him again.

If you are worried about taking econ then you must take this guy. All work is completed online he gives plenty of time to complete exams. Open book/note. Really glad I took him math is my weakest subject but in his class I was able to get an A. He offers lots of extra credit too. Really great guy

I took his summer 302 and 304 hybrid class. He's very responsive to emails, even late night. Lectures are hilarious and kept our attention at 8am. He's willing to write a letter of recommendation if you need one for a university. Extra credit assignments offered. Knowing graphs is half the battle. Applied lectures to real life. Organized online.

Ive taken him for two economics classes now and Ive actually learned a lot and his lectures are really to the point. He gives so many opportunities to get extra crefit and his rules are basic manners. If youre sleeping in class, talking during the lecture or just being disrespectful hell call you out but for the most part hes so chill.

I was terrified to take econ, I know very little of the topic. I got my bachelors in humanities. I had to study a lot to grasp the topic but I got an A. He is easy to communicate with and has really funny lectures. his homework is easy and provides a good about of Extra Credit.

I wasn't econ major but I nailed that class because I finished all assignment which is online on Pearson which is expensive 75 $ without ebook. I just open book once for extra h.w otherwise you can just rely on PowerPoint slides to pass this class. Never miss extra credit because you can avoid final exam if get 440 out of 520. Rosario explains the material so well and answers all questions fully. He gives so many extra credit opportunities for the ones who show up to class, drops your lowest scores, and gives you the option to take the final or not! Awesome dude and knows his stuff

One of the best professors I ever had. He gives a lot of extra credit options. The grade is point based and if you meet a certain criteria you dont have to take the final. Homework is just 10 questions w/3 tries and quiz is about 10 q's also. He made class time very interesting with real life examples. He has a good sense of humor and super chill.

Gives you relatable examples so you can understand the material. Grading structure is clear as day and if you do well during the semester, the final is optional. Offers extra credit randomly so make sure you attend class. He drops a few assignments and quizzes off total score as well.

Thoroughly explains concepts and tells you what to focus on, what will be on the test, and what to skip on. Hws are due every week or so on MyEconLab, and tests are on the current CHs. Final is NOT accumulative. No attendance, but it helps to come to his class to know when extra credits are due. He does not update announcements online. Take him!

You have weekly HW and quiz on pearson, lots of extra credit opportunities if you dont take advantage of those then your loss, and 3 exams in total.

LOL this professor is so funny. The professor was extremely honest and sometimes made me laugh. Although it was online and everything, the class was easy. I passed his class relatively easily, he offered a 20 point boost on the final exam if you took a support reading class which was nice. He gave extra credit for attendance for some days. When we transitioned to online things kinda went down the train but I can't fault the man for that

He posts prerecorded lectures, work at your own pace, hmw and quizzes due @ end of week on MyLab. He drops your lowest quiz and hmw grade. also posts lecture slides. I had him first 8 weeks and it was a breeze.

ECON 302 was an easy A. The etext he uses had alot of video within the text which helped reinforce concepts you just read. Plus he has video lecture in canvas so that helps too. quiz+HW in pearson myeconlab every/every other week or so and 2 exams. All open book/web/notes exams, not proctored. I took both Econ302 & 304 with Professor Rosario. I find him very well organized & caring because he constantly reminds you what is due during the week with his emails. Econ is not easy subject but he posts his video lectures which help a lot. Maybe people wont agree with me but I think he provides you every tool to get a good grade. Hes awesome

I had Rosario for an 8 week asynchronous class. It was fast paced but not too much work. There were video lectures, hw with unlimited trys to get 100% and a quiz for each chapter. There were 3 exams and they were similar to the example problems we did. Couple EC opportunities and optional hw to replace bad scores. Definitely recommend him for Econ.

Summer asynch: used Pearson for HW and tests. Provided lectures that summarize book info. Tests are always about the HW. Straightforward and simple. Do the work, study, and you'll be fine in the class. (I only got a B because I missed a test bc of a vaca, haha)

Prof. Rosario is awesome. Little homework. Textbook was free & online. Not much reading. The exams are what most of your grade is comprised of (3 exams, each worth 20% of your grade), you NEED to study for those. Weekly homework is easy. Lecture heavy but he makes them interesting and applicable to real life.

Every class is a lecture, but they are really involved. He goes on a lot of random stories but they are funny and connect to topic. expect 10-15 question quiz and 2-3 short answer each week. some weeks he doesn't bust most he does. He's a professor that's been there forever so not as formal and cracks lots of jokes at just about anything. free txb
