Great Teacher. It's really hard to fail the class.

This class is really easy. The teacher is cool and he is really determined to teach us what he knows. I would recomend Mr. stewart to all of my friends attending Henry ford Comunity college!

The best teacher i ever had to this day he is very layed back he gives you extra credit that really helps and he will cater to all your needs he gives worksheets but he explains them real well, if you dont take him your crazy he is by far the best teacher and you actually learn. and he has days where you can make up all ur work

Mr. Stewart is one of the best teachers i have come across at HFCC. He's not only helpful but he's also very understanding if anything ever comes up. He made me actually want to come to class i'd recommend him to anyone taking a CIS class he really knows what hes talking about. ii hearts him =D

If you can't get an A from Mr. Stewart then college probably isn't for you. Very good teacher.

Very easy class. I recommend if you have any computers skills at all, you test out and take a more advanced course.

he's so fun once you get to know and for some reason he always gets sick on the weekends but ends up comming to class on monday....

Mr. Stewart uses clear language and lots of visual aids that make the material very easy to follow. He is very helpful.

I took him for VB. He assigns a lot of work for THIS class and the requirements he wants for his programs are a lot of work. I often spent about 3-8 hours a week just on homework, and the class is only two days a week. Often felt overwhelmed with all the assignments at once. Oh and btw he tells a lot of corny jokes, so just laugh and move on.

Mr.Stewart is a great teacher, I highly recommend him to anyone. He is helpful and very nice!

Class went 10000MPH but loved every second of it! He really enjoys the topic and has contacts that are brought in that make this class worth its weight in GOLD. I've had Brian in two other courses and he's always fair; this was my favorite one!!!

My favorite CIS teacher ever. He does give plenty of work but its worth it. I have taken several classes with this instructor. He's the best and very intelligent. He'll teaches beyond measure. Highly Recommended.

AWESOME TEACHER!!! Very down to earth..teaches you everything you need to know about a computer. A very helpful class. Lots of work but well worth it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

My third class with Mr. Stewart and he is still the best. Teaches everything you need to know to be the best. Labs are tough but he helps when you ask or sees you struggling. Hope to have him again in the Winter!

Taking two of his classes this semester so have to rate twice on how AWESOME he is. Makes everything simple anyone can get it.

I just got out of this class it was nothing like I expected it to be. The workload was heavy so it is easy to get behind. Mr.Stewart is very nice but don't mistake that for being a pushover. He will smile and laugh with you then flunk you if you don't do what is expected of you. Overall the lab assignments is where you do more hands on work.

He helped me more than anyone. I took 4 classes with Mr. Stewart and he always had time to sit with me to help. There's NO better teacher at HFCC. Work was hard but he gave tons of help and you had lots of time. Gives lots of Extra Credit also.

I'm dyslexic and he would spend 2 extra hours with me each week to make sure I got it. Tell me another teacher that would do that? Thank you Mr. B!! You made my first semester the best!

The group project was sweet...we built a IM client from scratch. He made everything simple because the textbook was a really tough read. We had a blast in this class. Wish he taught the advanced one too!

Will go the extra mile to help you understand. I highly recommend this teacher. Just be sure to keep up on the work.

Great teacher! He was always humorus and knew to teach the class in the easiest way. Do your work come to class take the tests seriously and youll pass with an A. There is no way you can fail! You turn in work whenever and all tests are open book even the final! Most are at home some in the lab. TAKE HIM HES THE BEST!

He was an awesome help in this class. Always came in early and on his off-days to help us, would recommend him for ANY class. Lots of chances for an A in his class!

if you come to class, and do all homework (ma by miss a few and do all extra credit (108 points) you can still get an A+)you WILL get and A+++, mid-term and final are 1 page notes front and back (I suggest typing in the smallests font you can read, IF you absolutly need notes)

Was really fair for a 50% online class. The other ratings are right, lots of chances to get a A+, is always there after class, and gives each student lots of attention. I took 100 with another teacher and he blew me off each time, not B-Stew...thanks sir!

Loved the class, they need to make a part 2 so we can do web stuff too. His style is awesome, you get out what you put in. Million times better than some other teachers there

Brian is an awesome teacher!!! I took the summer class which was a lot of info packed into a few weeks and it was almost fun. He tells funny stories sometimes and does his best to help anyone who is having problems with anything in the class. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone who wants to learn more from the computer world.

No other teacher offered so much guidance in my career. I'm now graduating with a Bachelors from UofM thanks to his skills. When no one would help, he sat with me for hours to look at course choices. Thank you!

Gr8 teacher. Helps with everything, fun projects and he never lets you quit. Tests were long but open book. Most fair teacher Ive ever had. Why can't he teach my other classes?

He knows his stuff and teaches in a way so everyone can understand. Cracks jokes to make the learning atmosphere enjoyable. He is not hard on anyone and encourages students to ask questions. He just might be the best instructor at the school.

Retook this class with Brian and he explained it a lot better than my other teacher. He stayed after class with us until they kicked us out. really dedicated. Hope to take him again before i graduate

Brian is an amazing professor. He's extremely knowledgeable but doesn't take himself too seriously. He has a great way of putting abstract information into understandable terms, and he really goes above and beyond to answer questions and help with problems. I can't recommend him enough!

Brian is not only a great teacher but also a great guy! He knows his material very well and is extremely helpful. All you need to do is ask. If your shy come up to him before or after and he will help, or in the CIS lab. His only negative is that he is a Toronto Leafs fan! If you like hockey he is for you!

he was a really cool guy. substituted for shannon scanlon the whole semester. he was easy, funny, made me laugh, helpful, just make sure u dont fall behind on assignments.attack em early on. if u procrastinate it will pile up in the end. i highly recommend him. he knows what he is doing, and explains it all in a way us non-computer nerds get.

Brian is extremely funny guy, really clear on his lectures, and always makes the time to make sure that he gives you extra credit and help if you need it. Trust me! In the first few months I was pretty sure that I was going to fail and have to retake it.I left with an A- and bursting with knowledge! Brian rocks!.

Great teacher. Lots of homework, but if you pay attention to lecture you're fine. Always stayed late to answer questions and was in the lab a lot too. Look forward to taking his spring classes too.

Very Helpful, will meet with you and stay after class. Excellent at presenting information to beginners. Funny guy, a good deal of homework for you to practice with. Midterm and Final are long, but you get a page of notes and he picks the easier style HW questions for them.Randomly chose the class, lucked out and got prolly the best teacher for it.

Very helpful and thorough. He explains any questions you have and makes time after classes if you need to ask questions or need help with homework or general information.

Mr. Stewart should be a full time teacher, I can safely say he is the best teacher in the technology department. He goes above and beyond to help students with anything, whether about jobs, education, scheduling classes, you name it, he has a lot of helpful advice. You don't need to retake his classes if you are paying attention and show interest.

Brian's a great teacher and this class was fun. He always pushes us to make our programs marketable and the books were cheap. This is the third time I've had Brian. Too bad he doesn't teach every class here!

Mr. Stewart is hands down the best professor in the Computer Science department. He is the most credited programmer from any professor in the department and has a lot of experience in coding. Easy homework with redoes, tells you whats on test a class before the test. Defiantly worth your time.

Mr. Stewart is an excellent teacher. Allows you to do redo's and is VERY understanding and laid back. Very qualified (over qualified actually) for teaching but it's something he enjoys and it shows. Will help you with any homework issues you might be having and which classes you should take. Explains things very clearly, would definitely take again
