Dr. Woodfield was a great teacher! Other people complain about how he talked about his life for half the class, but it made class enjoyable and he still taught the material adequately. He focused a lot on getting the students to learn how to work hard and take more initiative in their learning. This made the class hard, but meaningful.

Would take again

This class is just hard. Despite what others might say, Prof Woodfield does want his students to succeed in the class. I felt very prepared for exams, which were very similar to hw and practice exams. He is sarcastic and he does not teach from slides. Use the provided resources. He is very knowledgeable and is clearly passionate about the class.

Take with Woodfield if he is your last option. I got an A so it's definitely doable, but he makes it hard because he doesn't use the slides like the other professors. The other professors also will drop your lowest test score while he didn't for us. He's funny but makes it so everyone feels uncomfortable to ask questions.
