Mrs. Bastian's class was easy to understand and the material that she used was straight from the book. There is alot class participation and this helps to understand the material. I would recommend taking a class from this instructor.

LOVE HER! You will too!! FUN class! Not too much homework. Book is an easy read. Tests are straight-forward. YOU HAVE TO SHOW-UP! If you do, and you pay attention, you will do well. GREAT introduction to concepts of Psychology. Stuff you will use in your everyday life.

The information taught in this class is really basic, and mostly common sense, but she makes it fun and interesting. She REALLY loves this subject, and it shows. If you show up to every class and participate on a regular basis, you'll do well. Keep up with the textbook reading because many of the questions are directly from the book.

Down to earth, fair, humorous, keeps it interesting. Would not hesitate in taking another class from her. Not too shabby on the eyes either. ;)

Take a different teacher. If you voice your opinion about a particular topic and she doesn't agree she will count it against you on your participation points. She likes her students to put definitions in their own words but when they do she corrects them with a textbook definition. Major superiority complex this one.

She's great! I wish she taught other classes. She made fairly boring material totally interesting and relevant. I would recommend her to anyone.

Ms. Bastian is great! She really engages you and forces you to think about what the material means to you. She seemed very prepared and came up with a lot of fun/different ways to learn. She took awhile to return things but I would definately take her again. Highly recommended!!

She's a pretty good teacher. quizzes every week and her tests are pretty hard, but if you want a no nonsense non-personal approach she's your best bet. If you want a little more challenging class that makes you get into it, find someone who didn't get a psy degree to use in business, because that's the approach she uses.

I thought the class was great. Ms. Bastian used group activities and a variety of handouts to teach the class. She also used short clips to go over what we discussed in lecture. You could tell she put a lot of thought into it! Would recommend her to anyone.

Smart, funny, and loves Psychology!! I am taking her again next term for Psych 202... You can tell she really does this because she cares about her students!

She is a very fun and bubbly teacher. She's is very well versed in the course lectures. The way that the class is structured works very well my learning style. Their are quizzes on each chapter but the quizzes only have 12 questions. Its easy to get a good grade if you have good attendance and study for the quizzes.

Fun class, I learned a lot. Details: Test every 3 chapters appx 40-50 multiple choice questions and a couple essay. The homework she assigns can mostly done 15 minutes prior to class starting. There's a 4-6 page paper due toward the end of the term and a final reflection project due on the last day. Do the work, show up everyday and study- easy A.

This was a fun and interesting class. Class discussions were great but wish they were tied more to test questions. Overall, learned a lot.

Briana is very relaxed and casual. Lectures are interesting and engaging. Class overall is very easy however tests are directly from the book and are difficult because they entail memorizing terms and brief in class lectures. Everything but the tests are very easy in this class, be prepared to read or at least memorize a lot of terms for test.

Ms. Bastian is a good professor and encourages dialogue with the class. There are three tests (definitely read your book and take notes!). Attendance is a must, or you will be totally lost. I would take her class again.

This was the best class I've ever taken. The lectures are entertaining and the whole class is engaged. She assigns a lot of homework (not too difficult) but the assignments are interesting and really make you think. Would definitely take her class again!

Gives interesting and engaging lectures, but that is all the class is composed of. She maintains her high energy for the whole 4-hr. class somehow. Quizzes (10-question, scantron) on each chapter in textbook (one a week). The quizzes are pretty difficult (they aren't fact-based questions, they're applying-your-knowledge-to-the-world questions).

Brianna has a quiz every week, so you need to go over the main points of each chapter. Some quizzes were harder than others, but sometimes she would give points back if scores were low on average. The final was open note, and she assigned an analysis paper that wasnt too difficult to get a 100% on. Straight forward entry level psych class.

This was one of my favorite classes. I took this class because it is required for my major but because of Brianna I am thinking of changing my major to Psychology. Lectures are fun and interesting and she uses class time to really get into the topics.

Absolutely loved her! Lectures were fun and engaging, she makes it easy to speak in front of the class, even if you hate speaking in front of the class you wont after this class. Very comfortable and welcoming environment. Lots of online hw and reading to do, final is 50 questions open note. Quizlet is going to become your best friend;)

She was amazing and made online learning a breeze. I would jump at the chance to take another of her courses.

Mrs. Bastian is great! Everyone has their camera on and she makes sure that people are participating. I look forward to class even though it is on zoom. I can't say this for my other classes. If you can I would take her class!

I took this class online with Ms. B and thought it was pretty good. All the topics were pretty interesting and there wasn't really any busy work. I would take a class from her again for sure.

By far one of the best professors I've had. It's obvious from her teaching style that she loves teaching anything related to psychology. This was a really great class. I took it in the hybrid format and that worked well for me. I liked being able to do most of the work at my own pace but still meet each week over zoom to be able to ask questions. Ms. B is very knowledgeable and helpful.

This was a very fun class. There was always a quiz, discussion, chapter reading, and homework every week. It was a lot for an online class, but I actually learned a lot about myself from this class. I would recommend getting the hard cover textbook, unless you like having your textbook read out loud (shoutout to Pearson!!)

Briana was amazing for psychology. Some of her software was outdated and could be tough to use at times. Overall I recommend her to anyone. Her workload is very light, but you learn so much from her.
