I have learned more about acting in about 5 minutes than I probably ever will. ever. Brianne is helpful, extremely nice, and she knows what she's doing. You will definitely learn and love her methods and be a MUCH better actor than you were before you took this class, Trust me, your eyes will be open and your mind will be refreshed. Meisner rules!

Had her for speech class and made me feel MUCH more comfortable with my nervousness standing in front of people. Down to earth and would do anything in her power to help you succeed in being a more powerful speaker.

Bri is really outgoing and friendly. She also has a good sense of humor, but sometimes targets kids in the class and makes fun of them--never anything mean... If you have any sort of sense of humor, you'll love her. This is the first 8AM I ever looked forward to.

Bri is awesome! It took me a few classes to warm up to her bubbly personality, but she is extremely loving, understanding, and accepting! She makes everyone feel totally comfortable with themselves, and we have all become better speakers. She's also HILARIOUS. If you have to fit an 8AM into your schedule, make it this one! I was not looking forward to an 8 AM on Wednesdays and Fridays when I enrolled for the class. I walked into her class on the first day and I knew it was such a good decision to keep the class. I've learned so much and I wish I could take her again and the semester isn't even over! Definitely a MUST TAKE course!

If you're looking for an easy A and a wicked nice teacher, take this class. Her assignments are so easy,and even if you hate public speaking, you will love this class. She's very young and a fun person to be around. If you can get into this class, I highly recommend taking it with her.

I took Professor Beatrice's class this past semester. I don't agree that it's an easy A. It's easy to get an A because her class is so awesome at you do all the work and enjoy it because you like the class so much. She is serious about attendance and you MUST do all the assignments/speeches. BUT... she is amazing, funny, and a fabulous teacher.

Great teacher. She makes the class fun and engaging. My only negative thing I have to say is that she says to buy the textbook & I literally did not pick it up once. I tried to return it and I couldn't. Waste of money. Other than that, she's awesome and I highly recommend taking her, she'll boost your confidence and make public speaking seem fun!

Brianne is a high spirited and very positive professor! If you need to take public speaking I HIGHLY recommend taking it with with her. She will boost your self confidence and help you grow as a person. (she also comforts students after they speak which is very helpful)

This class changed my life. Sounds like I'm being dramatic, but it's true. I honestly HATED the thought of taking Public Speaking and now I hate the thought of it ending. Take her 8 AM section and talk about Bagel World and Orange Leaf and it will be a blast. Be open to discuss, and don't be close minded. Take the fall section, it makes the howto more fun

I LOVE HER SO MUCH. She really cared about her students and wants to see them succeed. The class is basically mini and major speeches. The mini ones are pretty easy and aren't graded, just do them for completion. The major ones aren't too hard but you get a grade on them. I wish I could take this class again, very light hearted and easy.

Every good thing on here is true, she really is one of a kind. Makes everyone feel comfortable in a public speaking class where a lot of people really didn't want to be there initially. By the end of the semester no one wanted the class to end.

As an autistic and socially anxious student, I was nervous to take this class. Brianne helped me connect to a love of performing outside of theatre and choir.

She's amazing and one of my favorite professors I've ever had. She's a very easy grader and when she says you can do a speech on anything she means it. Please take her for speech she's so good.

She is kind and charismatic, the class was a presentation class so attendance and participation were mandatory, overall she is an easy grader, with clear expectations, and does not post Canvas other than when she cancels class, take her if you want a laid-back class, and to develop some confidence in oral presentation.

Amazing teacher, she gave us 3 major speeches that were 3-5 minutes in length, and then 3 small one which you pass for just doing it. Gave us many days off to work on our speeches outside of class. Shes very funny and a truly amazing teacher I would definitely take her class!!!
