she is the first and only teacher to teach me math so that it makes sense. i was in basic skills math since elementary school and barely passed with a C...i got an A in her class!! problems from homework were used on the test also.

This teacher was great. Clear, easy to follow algebra instructions. A great choice for someone who is a little shaky in math.

i had to take the rem. alg. because i am 30 and forgot and HATE math. this woman is clear and concise in her delivery. i took the home study by mistake and still got an A. did go to tutoring for help. specifically took her for the next phase. excellent!!

awesome teacher quick easy to the point! she teaches an entire chapter per day which is about 5 lessons but since shes so quicka dn doesn't get you bogged down in useless details it's so easy to pick up even in the 5 week course that i'm taking now!

Very easy class. She was very helpful when you had a problem. I recommend her for any math class.

I failed algebra in highschool twice, and eventually passed with a D. I left Feneis' class with a 103 final grade. Outstanding class, I think it helps that she cowrote the textbook. TAKE HER CLASS.

Awsome teacher, wonderful lady. She moves a little fast, but other then that, she is always willing to help, even on a test. I would definatly take here again. Everyone i spoke to about her, loved her to.

works very fast but easy to understand, i am good in math and i loved how clear and fast she worked, if you don't understand it you may get a bit lost. a lot of tests but is very generous, will help you if you do not understand. answers any questions and is very organized. i loved her.

You need math classes to graduate. Math is not easy. With home study, you are home studying. She knows the subject and presents it clearly. Tutoring is offered. Having problems, it's the subject itself, not the teacher. I recomend this teacher. If math is a problem for you, take the fall/spring class. 5 week class goes fast. A chapter a week.

Homestudy is just that- home study. It is what you make of it. As for Prof. Feneis, she's nice, easygoing, and helpful. She goes quick but will not hesitate to answer any questions or go over something you don't understand. I recommend this teacher!

Best Math prof ever! Doesn't go too fast or too slow. Delivery is clear and consice. She's a nice lady. She understands you have a life and she's very understanding. She even lets you retake tests!

Very very helpful, I went into her class thinking it was going to be hard. Instead I came out with a huge understanding of algebra, way better then any high school teacher could teach. Very nice, quizes to help with tests were not that bad, and she even gave practice test you could print out to pratice with. Just do the homework and you'll pass.

prof. feneis was really cool. her class was SO easy, and it was 5 credits. I liked her and the class alot! In fact, im going to look to see if i can take another class of hers next semester

My first semester will be ending soon and i have her now. If you just show up and take notes, you will be fine. She tries to be funny but its not rlly that funny, but anyways its an easy A if you take notes. she helps you out if you need it, and its also a class you could definitely fall asleep in...

I took her online and the class was very straight forward. If you're good with Algebra then welcome to an A. I personlly suck at all math but I enjoyed the class. She really does want you to do well. Great professor!

def recommend feneis! great teacher! extremely helpful, great teaching method, very clear & organized. such a nice lady & really cares about students. u really learn a lot in this class. i hate math & ended up loving this class. easy A if u do the work & put in effrt. anyone who complains that she is hard is just lazy &/or is afraid to ask for help

i am HORRIBLE at math (i've faile several classes!), but with the textbook (that she helped write) and her online course presentations, i've managed to get a good grade :) very helpful, considerate, and nice.

I am horrible at Math and got a B+ in her class...this Professor goes over tests with a study guide the day before, answers any/every question you may have, and is caring for her students. She gives Algebra a much better understanding and is a terrific professor -- she provides extra credit assignments, so it is hard NOT to pass; love herrr!

Prof. Feneis is a great professor! Highly recommend her class. She is very helpful and will review material until everyone understands! Tests are straight from material reviewed in class and homework.

i absolutley loved her! highly reccomend taking her I Stink in algebra but managed a B+ in her class when in highschool i barely made a C. She realy is a great teacher.

Professor Feneis, is an amazing math instructor and I would recommend her classes 100 percent. I took this class Algebra twice before and could not make heads or tails of what was going on. Bravo to Professor Feneis for caring about her students.

Nice lady, yet still strict to her policies. She doesn't take late assignments so don't slack. Adjusts her class according to the learning level of her students. Gives extra credit assignments. More than willing to give extra help. Tests and quizzes will be easy if you study and stay up to date on homework and math XL. Great class experience.

Prof. Feneis is extremely helpful when I didn't understand a section. She can move a bit fast pace sometimes but will stop anytime you ask questions. Uses MathXL, do not skip them because it will reflect on your grade. She does not bend rules, no late assignments, but she does give extra credit. I would recommend her class.

Sometimes I feel like we took baby steps in class but that's okay! She was great at explaining how to do problems along with giving you tips to remember how to do it. She randomly gives everyone 100's on quizzes boosting your grade up also, she drops your lowest quiz! She is very nice and really helped me understand math a lot better.

Great teacher! Always willing to help before, during and after class. Gives extra credit with your text book. Must hand in on time. However, if you are absent(not recommended) you are responsible to get the work. She is very good at explaining 011. I am AWFUL at math and am coming back to school after many, many years. I got an A+!!

Professor Feneis was ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC!!!!! College Algebra is a very hard class because it is 5 credits but she goes through everything and doesn't move on if anyone has questions. She gives a fair amount of work(not more then you can handle) and she is always willing to answer questions and help you when needed.

I took math 165 half on site, half online, and I wasn't aware. Lectures in class, and homeworkquizzes online. I found it very tough to do online. I would probably never do that again, I prefer in class. But she kept on having some mistakes but she was clear majority of the time, and shes nice.

took online. you have to do a homework on each section. a quiz every 3 or so sections. and 4 tests. you're teaching yourself but you have the book infant of you while doing assignments. each test is worth about 15% of grade. gives a pre-test so take those for extra credit and it'll help you score well on the tests.. MUST PARTICIPATE & SUBMIT ONTIME

Not the best professor I had but that's because she's just extremely strange. She's a tad bit all over the place so if you're good at organizing your notes, you'll be good at organizing her notes as well. As for homework, it's usually bookwork and she just walks around to check it. Tests are easy as long as you're understanding the material. Easy A

The usual math teacher. If you skip a class, you'll have to teach yourself. If you miss a test, u retake it at the end of the semester. She gives extra credit like it's Halloween. Homework is optional. She is always willing to sit down after class and help if your stuck. Take her if you are looking for a good math teacher.

I do not like math and this was the first person who explained it so that i understood it. She's a great professor, she knows her stuff and she is very easy to get along with. She really has a knack for explaining everything clearly. I highly suggest her.

I took her for online college algebra. Math has always come easy to me so this class was an easy a, keep in mind you are basically teaching yourself though so for people who struggle in math, online may not be the best forum. However, Professor Feneis is always available for questions and doesn't mind helping her students understand the work.

I found the material in MATH151 to be very easy. However, for an easy class, she was very good at teaching the material, which, even if the material was easy, could be confusing at times. Just make sure to check online hw all the time. Tests are short, and class ends early almost half the time. Very nice and entertaining.

I'm usually am terrible at math and hate it. Prof. Feneis made math easy to understand and enjoyable. I found myself looking forward to math class which is surprising. I highly recommend Feneis and if I had to take another math I would choose her.

I LOVED Professor Feneis, she changed the way she did homework this semester. Instead of mymathlab, she assigned homework as practice and when you tested you earned ten points higher on your homework than the test grade. For example, you get an 85 on your test. Even if you didn't do homework you got a 95 on it. Her quizzes are all extra credit.

Im good at math so hearing her talk makes simple math even simpler. All her quizzes are extra credit and she makes everything easy to understand. Ive missed multiple classes and come back easily able to pick up what I missed in the last class. Definitely would take her again

Great math professor. Quizzes in class are extra credit. She prepares you well for all of her tests. If you pay attention during class and take notes/do the worksheets, you'll definitely pass. She is great with explaining the material she teaches and helps you when you do not understand something. Finished her class with a 98.

Great professor to take for math! Sometimes she spends a little too much time explaining, but it's good because you'll always get the chance to understand. All of her quizzes are extra credit and only help your test grade. She encourages you to do homework from the book for practice, but it's not mandatory. Take her if you're not strong in math!

Let me just say that math is my weakest subject as a liberal art major and on top of that I signed up for this math class not knowing it was actually for the pre-calc track... Well, look at me now! With quick and helpful feedback every time I had an issue, Professor Feneis helped me succeed in something I always considered a struggle for myself!

Was terrified to take this course.. Professor was great! mainly self taught and I had to teach myself to use shortcuts on Excel and find other online calculators, but the professor was always extra responsive, gave extensions understandingly for my holiday, gave handwritten examples, and regraded hw probs wrong (rounding). hw is lots of probs, hrs!

Prof Feneis is just awesome! She is super chilled, and looks out for your success. She explains the math very thoroughly and doesn't just assume you know everything. She will go over and explain anything you want. If you are very quick at math you might find that she goes too slow, but she's a godsend for anyone with a weak background in math.

Professor Feneis takes her time with lectures and ensures all aspects of the lesson are understood. She provides notes for students, but be prepared for a lot of printing. She gives plenty of time for homework, quizzes, and tests to be completed, although it is time-consuming. If you are good with math, you will be set up for a great semester.

Professor Feneis makes learning math really easy. She will introduce a new topic and you will spend a lot of time going over everything and she gives you so many different problems to solve. The amount of time she spent on each topic really helped me grasp every concept and fully understand the content we were learning.

Best math Professor ever!! I really do mean that! Super nice and a calm person. Amazing at teaching anything to do with math. Goes very slow and she is in no rush to solve a problem. If you have a question she is more then happy to help. Overall a great person and really knows how to teach! Gives you plenty of time to do assignments as well.

Wonderful College Algebra professor. You will succeed in her class as long as you come to class and do the non-mandatory homework assignments. She is always willing to help anyone who doesn't understand the course material. There are a great deal of quizzes but it is in your best interest to come to this class regularly.

Really sweet teacher. I am currently in survey of Mathematics and my grade is an A. I know nothing about math but my grade is overall amazing and I would take any of her classes if I had the chance to do so. She's very understanding in class and very helpful and funny. No final exams, pop quizzes, or anything stress-related with her.

Professor Feneis is a wonderful statistics professor- she's very communicative, goes out of her way to find all sorts of helpful resources for her students, and is clear about her expectations. Just make sure you participate, do all the work & tests, and ask for help when you need it. You'll need to understand the material to succeed in her class!!

The class was accelerated online, easy to follow, clear, straightforward grading. Discussion posts were required. She was incredibly helpful, provided extra info. I was initially nervous about taking this class, her support helped me end up with an A. Highly recommend if you're looking for a professor who genuinely wants her students to succeed!

Professor Feneis was definitely one of the easiest math teachers I've ever had. She explained in detail each section and tried her best to explain it in the best way possible. The homework is optional, and it is more difficult than the quizzes or tests. Lecture heavy. If you understand the lecture, you'll be fine on the test/quiz.

Professor Feneis is a wonderful teacher with great lectures that helped me learn about algebra. As long as you go to class and write the material down and study it you will succeed. Homework is not mandatory but it is helpful if you miss a class. Lots of exams and quizzes but it does cause them to be shorter and easier.
