Have had her for several classes. Took her on purpose. If you have had one of her classes you'll know what to expect. Tests tough, gading fair, generous on essays. You will need to read the book.

absent minded but nice person easy going

Requires you to actually READ the text (a real shocker for students with a h.s. mentality). Tests have far too many choices. All notes are easily copied from overhead or if you go to her office, get a copy. She's happy to help you out.

Read the book as assigned. This is not a high school course and she expects you to do a little studying. Listen to the lectures and she drops subtle hints as to what will be on the tests. Easily gets off topic and talks about her political past.

not the most clear or organized prof, but very helpful and seems honestly interested in your success. can solve any problem by merely dropping by her office.

Her lectures are awful. She's rarely on topic. She rarely discusses the assigned readings. She is way to self-involved. She is however very easy-going and very willing to help any student who comes to her.

Bridget Jeffery is a nice understanding teacher. Her class is a little boring, but if you read and pay attention it is a piece of cake.

Excellent professor. One of the best ever to teach at Edinboro. I would highly recommend her. She is very personable and sometimes outright happy. She is by far the best Political Science Professor at Edinboro.

Dr. Jeffery may ramble on in class... but her tests are straight from the book. Be prepared to do a lot of work, but she is probably one of the most helpful professors on campus. Go to her anytime and she will help you. The tests do suck, but just study (she gives out study guides and goes over them for heavens' sake!) and you will do just fine.

She?s a really nice person who genuinely cares about her students. She lacks confidence which deters her from completing course materials. Talk to her in her office, don?t take her class.

she is a good teacher. all the people on here just like to whine. if you want a challenge and some intelligent discussion take this class. apparently not many people want that though, judging by all the comments on here.

One of the best, if not the best Political Science professor Edinboro University has. Sure she has problems and she is more sharing than other professors, but who do you go to for help when you screw up? You go to Dr. Jeffery. This is college. Grow up already.

Even though she jumps around a lot during class she definately knows what she's talking about. It may not always be the clearist but she is willing to help you if you need her to. Just be ready for an extremely long test.

Everyone says she is horriable but I thought she was very nice, yes she talks about where she lived and her ex husband. But i think she is just lonley and sad. She really really knows what she si talking about and let you participate in class! The discussions are usually interesting, and i even hate government. I would take her again if i had to

she does talk about her life and son alot but she is an awesome teacher who really cares about her students. she loves talking to you in her office.i took her for 8 classes at edinboro and wished i could of taken her for more. pay attention, participate, let her know who you are. ask for extra credit on current political issues she loves that stuff

I enjoyed this class and this professor. She does present a lot of material, and shares bits of info about her life, but she is informative and really cares about her students. A little kindness and class participation goes a long way with her.

I love this lady. I don't know how ppl can not like her. If you give the woman some respect, show up for class, and participate every so often, you'll do fine. I bought the text and NEVER used it. She's a pretty sweet lady who knows her****.

Are these kids serious? What's with the bad scores? She's a smart teacher, really knows her stuff, and she really isn't that hard at all. She has a lot of letters for MC, yes, but if you read your book (yes, sometimes you have to do that) they're a piece of cake. And she is just generally a very nice person and is willing to help you out always.

Challenging but very fair, If you show up prepared and participate in a civil manner you will do well. Her M/C questions are hard, but she is very willing to help. I will take her again.

I loved her classes. She is so sweet and nice. Of course you have to study for the tests, But this is college people - grow up. For those of you who didn't like her 100 level classes and couldn't pass, be prepared to fail college - b/c it will only get harder.

BRILLIANT LADY. Extremely tough grader - you must include EVERY detail in your term paper and in your exams. The study sheets are a bit difficult and take a lot time to complete. Overall, shes a great lady who cares about students that care. Def. take her if you're willing to put effort in getting a good grade.

Dr. Jeffery is an excellent teacher. Many students don't like her because she is very thorough almost to the point of being overly thorough. She is known to curve tests widely and help students as much as she can. Students are able to see her outside of class for extra help and she will spend all day with you if you need it. Dedicated to job.

Very good professor. She gives you all the materiels you need to succeed on Blackboard, if you fail her course, you are just lazy. She sets you up for success, you just have to do the work.

She's quite a democrat, big on class participation, encouraging, will go out of her way to help you. Not too bad if you don't mind a little light reading and listening.

I think that she is a kind woman who is passionate about the subject however, she is not a good professor. She lectures by skimming over ppt notes. She also rambles on and gets VERY EASILY frustrated with certain students, and guilts them w/ her personal life. Her tests are confusing, especially the mulp. choice. Her lecture style is boring.

Easiest professor at Edinboro. Seeing as how this professor curves her tests, I don't see how her tests are "impossible". Read, study, and take notes. Also, I am not sure what some people expect, but this is college...

She spent more time discussing her own personal life than teaching. We were supposed to cover 10 chapters, only got through 5. I can honestly say I learned very little. The tests were pretty confusing, no matter how much I studied, but the extra credit was a huge bonus. She is really a nice person outside of class, but needs some help in teaching.

Really disappointed I took her class. WMST is my minor and I have learned nothing about WMST but more about her personal life. The whole class is based on discussions so therefore the exams are based on them as well. I heard its the same for her other classes as well. She is a nice lady but a TERRIBLE professor. DO. NOT. TAKE!

The class was all over the place. I did not learn too much but when she realized our class was struggling she really did her best to help us pass and get the best grade possible with extra credit. It was her 1st time teaching this class and it was obvious.

Some students struggle with Dr. Jeffery rambling, but I thought she was funny. She's very knowledgeable and has a lot of life experience, which I thought was helpful to hear about while listening to her lectures. When she saw that we were struggling (her tests are difficult, but I studied a lot and did well), she offered extra credit for each exam.

Dr. Jeffery cares about her students and it shows. Her class is interesting and entertaining while challenging you to learn. She relates theory to real-world scenarios and helps students to understand the implications of various concepts.

Take copious notes and do the reading and you'll pass every test.

Extremely informed on current events. Tries her hardest to make sure students succeed. Able to relate to easily. Some times rambles a little but never lost interest in what she was saying.

Have her for online class. She is the only professor willing to do zooms each week. Makes me feel like an actual student - expects you to show up. Provides study guides. Stays after zooms to help and has office hours. She knows her subject matter also
