Great teacher! She will deffinently improve your writing abilty and grades papers very fairly (revision for a better grade is allowed). One of the best aspects of this teacher is that she is very personable, helpful, and available to help with papers during office hrs.

AWESOME TEACHER. this class made me like English. I've always hated English until I had Prof. Kominek. There are 4 essays, one in class. She gives really fun topics to write. Overall great teacher. She'll even let you email your essay prior to turning it in and she'll reply back with inputs and tips.

She is a great teacher. Very personal and helpful. She will go out of her way to give you the best advice as she can. She lets you email any of your work in if you do not have a printer (very helpful at times). She is an all around good teacher. *my advice take her for an A!!*

What an outstanding professor. Very clear, organized, understanding, helpful, motivating. Great class, first time I looked forward to an English class ever. She is funny and keeps the class fresh. Loved Prof. K! I took honors and AP English class all throughout highschool, but I learned the most valuable essay-writing techniques in Prof. K's class. Her teaching style is fun and effective and the textbook is great as well. Come to class, do your homework, and bring your textbook. Super helpful and very approachable!

She was prob my best English proof I've ever had. But, it almost seems that the final grade she gives you is a judgement not a record. I had an A on the midterm and the final. Always turned in my homework. Usually got low B's for my essays. My final grade was a C. She doesn't round percentage wise, I had a 79% but she refused. :( There goes my GPA.

OMG she is AMAZING! She is so helpful and really wants you to pass. I took her in the summer and it was the BEST choice I ever made. I ended up getting an A with hard work. The work is challenging, but doable of course. She is so nice and friendly too! And she looks exactly like Katy Perry! :)

Prof. K is a nice helpful smart teacher. She is easy to understand and loves helping her students succeed. There are group interactions n essays. As long as you show up and do the work you will get a good grade.

Profess K is absolutely amazing. i can say her joyful attitude brings the class such a positive vibe. her class work is understandable and really gets us thinking even when it seems really simple. she is great about teaching us to be better writers. i defiantly recommend to take HER class!

This class is a lot of work there are about 8 essays but she grades them kindly. You will learn a lot in this class. If you want a nice laid back teacher and a comfortable class environment take her!

Kominek is an outgoing teacher, always willing to offer extra help when needed, and she has a ridiculously hot face - which was my motivation to make this class happen. As the respected class clown, she was pretty legit. She hooked me up with a grip of smarties, those wonderful candies. So she is nearing perfect in my books.

This was my favorite class last semester,she actually wants her students to pass. We had 7 total essays 3 in-class 4 out-of class,3 Unit quizzes&gives lots&lots of extra credit! Group work helped a lot and going to her office hours. 1 portfolio (final) Not a hard class but definitely challenging but just do the work&you'll pass with a B or higher!

Pretty cool professor, though I think she can be kind of hippie-ish with her teaching methods. Very outgoing, always available to assist students with assignments, and very clear with what she wants done. Plus as an added bonus, she is very attractive.

Overall kominek was a good instructor she only gave out 3 exams and 2 essays and let's you revise them to get a better grade. She assigns the essays like a week before it's due which sucks because it doesn't give you time to write a good essay. She's really big on plagiarism and cheating she's not stupid she'll catch you.

If you are lazy ass and want to have an easy class, then this class isn't for you. But if you want improve your writing and actually learn then Professor Kominek is the person to take. Yes, she is a tough grader but she is passionate about what she teaches and her students. She has engaging lectures and goes out of her way to help her students! 3

Professor Kominek made the summer not only bearable, but enjoyable. She's very realistic and understanding, but don't think that means you won't have to work for your grade. I was impressed with her teaching style, clarity, and helpfulness. Don't miss class unless absolutely necessary.. you will regret the points lost.

Awesome teacher and she is always there to help you out. On exams she allows you to do revisions for a higher grade. It was not an easy semester but I gained so much knowledge and I am thankful for that. Not an easy A you will have to work for it. Don't skip class and do ALL the readings. Highly recommend taking her.

Professor Kominek was an amazing professor. She really knows the material and is very helpful in making it understandable for the students. A lot of the in-class work is done by groups, which makes the class much more entertaining. I took her for both American Literature classes and I recommend her for either. Just an awesome teacher all around.

One of the best English teacher's I've ever had. She gives good feedback and helps you with whatever you need. Not a hard grader when it comes to group discussions and homework, but is when it comes to essays. But again, she gives good feedback and pointers which will help. Quizzes aren't so bad. It was fun being in her class.

Bridget is really great. If you're looking for a teacher that will be involved in your work she is the one! She is ready to give you good ideas. Also if you're struggling for personal reasons she's willing to work things out with your assignments if you just communicate with her. Great professor! Makes the class so much fun! RECOMMEND

As my first class at Fullerton College, I had Bridget as my first teacher for English 100. Bridget was a great teacher and I can firmly say I am a better writer from it. She is very caring and super flexible with you and gives extra credit opportunities. That being said she is a tough grader though, that is the only thing I would say is bad.

I honestly hate taking English but with her as my teacher she made it fun and interesting

This professor is soo AMAZING! She is patient, kind, and funny. For an English professor she's pretty chill and she likes to give her students reading that won't bore them. For example, in my class our theme was on love and her readings were based on that. Who wouldn't "love" that? You get to redo quizzes and essays. By the end class felt like fam!

The best class I have ever taken however being a critical grader shes the sweetest human being ever. I had her for my first semester at Fullerton college, she made my semester really great I would definitely take her again she understands & will work with anyone about anything .

If you took a previous English class, she chooses to grade differently and expects you to learn a different way to write, compared to her other class. Her expectations are higher and she gave off the vibe like you shouldn't have taken her class again, although it's a different English class.

Kominek is so sweet and great at giving feedback. Her class is somewhat lecture heavy but the lectures are relevant to the class and the midterm/final. She gives plenty of opportunities for extra credit and is a professor who will do everything in her power to help you pass. She makes the class feel really informal and fun in the best way.

She is a great teacher helps a lot, she explains the prompts for the Essays during the week so you have a clear understanding and gives extra credit.

My favorite professor. So kind and flexible. Syllabus and grading straight forward. Took English 221 and had 2 essays, like 4-5 discussions, and 3 exams that help you get you on the right track to complete essays. A lot of group discussions but very fun. Textbook required but she gives us a free online pdf

Her class is really easy and she's very flexible with assignments. She will remind you by email when work is done and she also gives out lots of extra credit if you go to tutoring. She is a really nice teacher and all she wants is her students to pass.

the absolute BEST!!! my literature skills and even writting have been improved! i took her spring 2020 so it was weird being in class 8 weeks and then another 8 weeks online due to the pandemic, but she definitely did her utmost best to make sure her students had all the resources they needed in order to succeed ! shes caring and compassionate!

Prof. Rosales is by far my favorite prof. at Fullerton! She really cares about her students and is so passionate about her job. My uncle took her class and recommended her to me and Im so glad I took her class! You do have to do group projects, which I loathe, but I found it very enjoyable in her class. Highly recommend!!

took online during covid* Professor K is a sweet lady who tries to make it easy on her students. There is reading and discussion most weeks, but she gives specific pages to read if you're short on time. If you keep up with the reading and discussions, it's not difficult to pass at all. There are extra credit opportunities as well. She's so nice!

She is a very well structured professor. You have about 4 papers, but you are slowly working on them and if you turn everything in on time, you will not fall behind. Along with papers, you have discussions and quizzes that are easy. She is there for any questions that you have and is willing to work with you if you ask!

She is very kind and understanding when it comes to your papers. Provides great resources to help you in your writing process. Gives very helpful feedback. There are 5 essays in total and you also need to read a book. The course is very organized and simple, just make sure you turn in all your assignments.

She's an amazing teacher for ENG101. All thought the essays she gives amazing feedback and she never marks anything down to a zero, just to make it easier for you to bounce back up she marks it as 50%. Each essay is a unit, 5 units in total. with each having their own work due by that unit. You can turn anything in until that specific unit.

Professor Kominek was so much fun in her classroom! She showed genuine care for all of her students and was very understanding in all situations. She is willing to work with you and make sure that you are in a position to pass her class. She grades her essays very fairly and gives good feedback. Would 100% take her again if given the opportunity.
