She is the first teacher I've had that was able to teach algebra in a way that it got through to me. She gives clear lectures and lots of practice work. She's fair and has a nice personality. She totally overprepared us for the exit exam which was cool!

She is the first math teacher I've had in my LIFE that seems to have the magical gift of making sense of the subject. I came into this class knowing next to nothing about algebra, and have gotten A's on every test so far. Its not that it's easy, she just teaches very well.(Before her class,I never received a grade higher than a D)Take her class!

She is the greatest teacher. She makes everything very clear, explains the problems with a fine tooth comb every time. If you are not an expert in math you need her.

Bridget has a very great mind and a keen eye for details. I can say I'm the dumbest in Math but now I can solve word problems and polynomials. She is definitely the teacher to choose. She's strict in a sense that she pushes the student to work harder.

I have been out of high school for 16 years, I hated math then and since I have taken her class I understand it and like it. (not love it) She is so willing to help you learn it. She is an awesome teacher and works with you. She'll even do some tutoring if she and you have time. If you don't understand she will sit down with you in class and try to help you. If you have a half a semester class though don't miss more days than you're allowed or she'll have to fail you. I passed! EVERYONE I TALKED TO HIGHLY RECOMMENDS HER!

If Algebra stumps you like it does me, take Middleton. She makes the work comprehensible. I took the studio class, all work is done online but you are in class everyday, 3 days in the computer lab and 1 day in the classroom for lecture. She is very helpful and will let you makeup things you miss and retake bombed tests. Highly recommended.

If you have difficulty with algebra take Prof. Middleton. She is by far the best professor I've ever had. She is extremely helpful, patient, will spend extra time on problems for anyone, and never ever gets angry at the class for not understanding. Other math professors would get furious with the class but Middleton is understanding. TAKE HER!

I have a very hard time understanding math, but the way Mrs. Middleton explains it, it makes so much sense. She shows us different ways of solving and let's us use the method that's easiest for us. She tries to give us immediate feedback as much as possible so we know what needs improvement.

SHE is an amazing teacher, as long as she sees you are putting forth your best effort, she ill go out of her way to help you. She wanders the class during lab/studio time and helps you, if she sees you need it. I wish she taught all levels fo math. You do need to get the paper packet & the key code for this class.

I had her for prep mat 0028. Highly recommend her. She always communicated with me, as soon as she got my email. One word of advice: don't get the text book (virtual), unless you are flat terrible at math. I hadn't taken any math in literally 10 years, and I used the book maybe twice. Her videos are very informative. The quizzes are very forgiving...you get FIVE chances! Seriously...hardest part of the class are the tests. But even then, she gives great practice/review tests before hand.

Mrs. Middleton is extremely helpful. Everything is done online on the computer. Come to class and do the work and you will pass. I achieved my highest math grade ever in her class. And I haven't been in school in over 10 yrs.

She gives you her office hours the first day of class so you know exactly when she will be in. You use My MathLab. It is a bit difficult unless you are just good at math. If you hate or are not good at Math especially if you are an older student coming back to school this is the professor for you. Clear lectures. VERY helpful. Makes math easy. Was completely ready for 1033 and now moving on to 1105. Grades very fair but gives you nothing. You will be ready for upper level math.

She was such an amazing professor! She always explains why she is doing something a certain way and makes math very digestible. Be wary even though this is a studio class, you need to dedicate at least an hour or so a day beyond the classroom if you can't finish the work in the amount of time given each day.

This is the first Math class I have taken in many years. Prof Middleton released the schedule on day 1 so I knew exactly what was expected from the start. There was homework every day and lots of quizzes but it all really prepared me for the exams. Prof Middleton was fair and supportive. Do the work and don't fall behind!

Hands down one of the best teachers I've had at SF. She goes into great detail during lecture and answers any questions you may have. You are responsible for any work you might miss if you don't attend class but she always answers you emails quickly if you have any questions.

She is the best teacher I've ever had. She helped me out a ton! She is very organized and made everything seem so simple. She responded to my messages fairly fast and whenever I had a hard time with a problem, she made it easy to understand. I highly recommend this teacher, especially if you're bad at math like I am.

Prof. Middleton is amazing! This is my second time taking her and I wouldn't take anyone else. She's there to help you understand the material, so make time to get office hour (that extremely helped me). Make sure you do well on all 3 test! Overall, I most definitely recommend her to anyone that's good or bad at math!

I love when teachers make themselves accessible outside of class and are more than willing to help you understand. I'm not good at math - she was quick to respond to any emails and met with me outside of class an hour after communicating with me via email to go through a couple problems. Great teacher!

Professor Middleton will go above and beyond for the students that actually work on improving their math skills. She is straight to point during class and will give you all the extra attention you need during her office hours. I would take her again in a heart beat. Do yourself a favor and take her class.

It's been years since I've been in a math class and this was my first class at Santa Fe. Mrs. Middleton made it super easy and although the class was a fast pace because it being Summer B, you still have no problem keeping up if you come to class and listen. She gives extra credit and is flexible for exam times if you can't make the scheduled one.

She is awesome!!!! Very patient and super good at explaining things, and breaking them down to make it easier to understand, Definitely would recommend :) she is a great teacher.

This is my second half term class with Mrs. Middleton and I'm still super happy. She is really helpful outside of class and her explanation of things is a lot easier to understand than other teachers/tutors. Gives extra credit options and you can retake one of your exams at the end of the semester. Easy A if you show up and pay attention.

She was personable to her students and did everything she could to make sure students understood the material to not only pass the tests, but the class. She's a great instructor!

Middleton is probably the only person on earth that can make me feel less anxious about math. I took her class online over a summer semester so the workload was heavy, but her lectures were so helpful and always covered exactly what we would be tested on. Make sure to show your work -- it may save you from an error being docked for points.

She also offers a TON of extra credit opportunities. There is a lot of homework and tests are often, but they really aren't difficult. 10/10 would recommend.

She was a great teacher who was always available to zoom with me when I had a question or was confused. I am very thankful she was as helpful as she was. The HW will prepare you for the tests. Complete everything because it is all for credit. She even offers extra credit on the tests. Tests are carefully proctored, quizzes are not.

I am taking a college math class in my late 20s and she truly great. Ive always struggled in math and professor Middleton was such a great help. I have always had problem with math usually Ill fail the class but with this professor I was able to get the highest grade Ive ever gotten in a math class! She takes her time to make sure you understands the lesson plans . Everyday of class (mine was via zoom) she always made sure to go over what she talked about previously. Take notes!

I loved everything about this class !! She makes sure you know and understand the material on top of allowing you to ask questions on class . Take notes , ask questions and use office hours and you will definitely pass ! I made and A in the class . BEST math teacher hands down

She did a great job going over everything that would be in the homework and the test. She really had set me up for success. I am really horrible with math but she made it so understandable and easy. She let me work ahead. Incredible teacher.

I can't say enough about Professor Middleton. I am a returning student after 20yrs and I have always hated and been scared of math. She explains things in several ways so no matter what way you learn, you will understand. I never was able to do math until now. She is very responsive. There's work but if you do it, you will be fine. She's the best!

I attempted this class last semester with Tekin and had to drop after 4 weeks. Middleton is an AMAZING professor. She offers extra credit for every exam and is super responsive to any questions. Her lecture worksheets outline everything you need to know and her teaching style really simplifies it. For someone who *hated* math.. 10/10 take her!

I took an MAC1105 course with another professor before Middleton but had to withdraw from it because I just couldnt get it. I took Middleton over the summer and was super scared because math gives me anxiety. She is an amazing math teacher and always answers emails/messages. Made me hate math less and went pretty slow which was nice. Take her!

Best math prof i've had. Her videos are clear and explains everything well. Homework allowed for extra practice for quizes and test, and she explains where you went wrong. She had 3 test that make up most of your grade, but she had extra credit and retakes so if you're a horrible test taker like me, you can still pass the class.

Middleton is an incredible teacher. I have failed this class with other teachers more than once in the past, so I was worried. Clear in her instructions. It was hard work, but all the work was relevant and worth it. It feels good to finally understand math. She is very helpful in class and at office hours.

I took Professor Middleton for MAT1033 & MAC1105. She is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. She has clear criteria for what she expects on tests. She is very accessible outside of class times and always answers in a timely manner. She even gave extra credit on all the tests. I wish I could take her for all my math classes!

Prof. Middleton is amazing. She wants to see you pass so she works with you. She gives feedback to help you understand where your mistake is. When you need help she's right there. All of her "lectures" are so helpful and if you still don't understand she is available to you. I'd definitely take her again.

Math scares me but I took her class online and I got a great grade. She gives a lot of hw and quizzes but they set you up for success for all the exams. She is so sweet with grading and reached out to me after an exam to help me go over what I missed, even gave me some extra points because she could see that I was trying my best. She is so great.

This lady helped me develop my math skills through her lectures more than anyone else ever has. She is straight to the point to show you how to complete the work that is expected of you. She is a great teacher, and if you pay attention, you will do well.

Professor Middleton is great. Her teaching is impressive and she gives many ways to solve things according to your preference. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT. DO THE HOMEWORK. It is tedious, but helpful + her exams are VERY similar. Do not take the 6 week version though. It's too much content in too little time, I had no life during the course.

I struggled with math my entire life. Professor Middleton has truly given me a new perspective on mathematics and more confidence. I also took 0028 with her; both courses are organized and efficient. She is there for her students and really wants you to succeed. I cannot say enough great things about her! Take her classes if you get the chance!

Excellent professor. I took her for a short semester in my worst subject and it's been 10 years since my last math class but she was still fantastic. It wasn't an easy class, but if you actually did the work and watched the lectures, she was very clear with the step by step processes and had it possible to understand no matter your learning style.

Amazing professor. I would 100% take her again. She is easily accessible out of class, and you can tell she wants her students to do good. Lots of homework, but her lectures helped you really understand the homework, so it was easy.

She is very accessible and offers a lot of resources to help you out. She genuinely wants her students to do well and she is very understanding. I took this as a hybrid class. Her lectures are easy to follow and help you understand the material. My only complaint is that sometimes she makes a few mistakes with her math but usually fixes them.

I took the 6 week course which I do not recommend, however Professor Middleton I do recommend. The videos she has you watch to help with the homework are very well done and she explains how to do certain problems certain ways. I'm planning to take her next semester which I'm excited about. If you struggle with math please take her, you will learn so much!

Don't walk... RUN to register for her class. She is an AMAZING Professor who gives the clearest, most easy and effective instructions. HW has no due date, though it has to be done before quizzes so you can master the concepts. You get 3 attempts on the quizzes; there is truly no reason you wouldn't pass. She is so very helpful and makes math fun!!

Not only does she do great videos for her note homework, but she's just all around a very online-savvy professor. She's an incredibly generous grader, especially on the big tests. She WANTS you to pass, and it shows through her approach. She has grades in immediately, even for the main 4 tests, with personal feedback on everything. 10/10 LOVE HER

Her lectures thoroughly explain the steps to each problem, sends reminders for upcoming due work you haven't completed. 4 exams total that you have to go to the college to take but exams cover exactly what we've gone over. There is quite a bit of homework but you can easily understand the material. Would take any math class with this professor!

Because of Prof. Middleton's concern, she advised me to get tested by a professional to see if I had a math disability, which come to find out I do (dyscalculia). I had to drop the class, but not because of her. She is awesome. She will go out of her way to help you, only if you are willing to help yourself first. She is an awesome teacher.

I took professor Middleton for MAT0028 and MAT1033, and I wish I she could be my professor for every math class that I need. She breaks everything down and explains it clearly so that you really understand the concepts and how to do them. She even takes the time to teach several different ways to find the answer to a problem. She's amazing.

I hated math before having this class, and she equipped me with the tools and support I needed to succeed. Best math teacher I've had in my life. Don't hesitate to take her classes. She's a really good math professor. You only meet once a week, and she gives the worksheet out that day, so attendance is super important. If you miss class, you'll have to find a way to get it since it's due by the end of the week. She explains everything well on the board. She grades tough, but you'll actually learn.

Before taking Middleton I had previously failed this course. She's hands-on & goes through every problem thoroughly to make sure we understood the material. It wasn't hard to reach out for help as she was easygoing & took her time to make sure I understood before going on. If I could I would choose her to be my prof for every math course.
