Easy to understand & if you have a question she is very quick to answer it.She works with the student so they get the best grade possible.Take this class if you are tired of having bad professors! GREAT professor! Bridget was nice, understanding, extremely knowledgeable about psychology, helpful, and willing to work with you. You definitely have to go to class to get an A, but she makes class fun and shows lots of interesting videos. Lots of textbook reading, but very manageable. Easy A if you apply yourself.

Cool, kind of quirky, and very knowledgeable about the subject. I am disappointed that she only teaches Psychology! I would love to take another class with her--she's up front and open about course objectives, and will tell you EXACTLY what she expects you to learn, really good, thorough study sessions as well.

I took this class in an accelerated form over the summer. It was a LOT of work but a very interesting and fun class overall. I WOULD take her again!

She is energetic which makes the lectures fun and not boring. You must read the chapters to do good on the tests. However, she does allow you to use one side of a 4x6 note-card on the test. She is great at communication what she wants and that she is here to help you pass the class. Attendance is key to gain extra credit at the end of the class.

Loved her! She lets you write on a notecard and bring it to exams. She is also very funny. I'd take her again if all her classes weren't full!

I have taken two classes from Bridget and I have really enjoyed both of them. I took the first one online and the second one in class. I would recommend online or in class, both are really fun. She is really willing to go out of her way to help you. Her assignments are easy to understand. Her tests are harder and you need to read the book and study

I you don't think Psych 1110 is easy, you don't think! She grades easy and gives second chances. She drops your worst test. So I just skipped the FINAL! And its not that she is lazy. She is super nice and helpful. Nearly no home work. just some group work! You want a good class and an 'A', Take it!

Absolutely loved Bridget! Pretty easy class. Took her online for life span. Lots of time to finish assignments and tons of extra credit. Knows her stuff and replies to emails very quickly. Requires a lot of reading and some effort, although simple stuff. I would take her!!

VERY enthusiastic and colorful. You can tell she loves her job and the subjects she teaches. Took Developmental Psychology -Life Span with her and loved it. Hard class made easier. Expects you to read and come to class but explains things thoroughly and always takes questions. Very approachable and extremely friendly. Makes hard classes enjoyable.

She is a fun person and the class is an easy A. Literally the most difficult part of the class is listening to her radical political rants. I really don't care what you believe just stick to psychology

Bridget is 100% the best professor I've had not only at Normandale but in any of the colleges I've attended. She's warm, funny, light-hearted, and a great professor and educator all at the same time. Her class is fun!! She truly cares about her students, too. She's the only professor I've liked enough to keep visiting even after the class is over.

No tests the whole semester, but there was online quizzes that were really easy. Her lectures are extremely fun and interesting. There's never a dull moment.

Since now, I have a perfect grade in this class :) To get an 'A', you just need to pay attention to her lectures (which are hilarious), read the textbooktake notes (the book itself is "interesting!") do the online quizzes (with your trusty textbook in reach), and write a couple papers (mostly based on your own experiences).

This is my second class that I have taken with her. She is a great professor who absolutely loves her job. Her main objective is for you to learn the information related to the course, not to overload you with assignments. There are a couple short papers and one longer one. I highly recommend Bridget for any Psychology class at Normandale!

Bridget was the best professor I have had at Normandale. I took this class online, but she had such a great layout of the semester it was easy to follow. I went to her in-person office hours just to chat. She's just a great person! I wish she taught more classes I needed for my major. Take her if you can!

NO EXAMS YAYYY!!! instead of exams you do service learning and write about that. Make sure to show up to every class because her lectures are amazing and at the end you write a paper (with other classmates) worth 20 points.

She's so sweet, bright, and enthusiastic about her classes that it's hard to skip! A couple in-class group "papers" (more of a list of what your group talked about), a 5 pg research paper, short writing assignments (worksheets) and online quizzes (textbook is helpful here). No exams, yet I learned so much! Discussions are always interesting too.

When I say you will read the whole textbook, you will read the whole thing. There is an online quiz for every chapter. Bridget is a big ball of sunshine and you better laugh at her jokes (srsly tho). You get attendance points and will have to do in-class papers which are done in groups. Actual discussion can get the class out of doing the papers.

I hated the idea of group papers every class period, but Bridget made them so much easier than expected! She gives great lectures and keeps everyone laughing, while also relating the material to your life. I would recommend her to anyone at Normandale.

Lots of extra credit opportunities. She also drops lowest two quizzes and writing assignments. Research paper at the end, however if you follow all of the guidelines and give her what she wants, you'll have a solid A. She tells you her opinion on random matters.

There are many in class homework/groupwork, but it mostly ends up as small group discussions for credit. Expect to show up for class and read textbook to do well on quizzes. She is very passionate about the topic, which makes class fun and more intersting. She genuinly cares about her students. I would highly recommend taking her class.

took her evening nigh class and it was a great class 2 quizzes every two weeks, papers every week but there group papers. Bridget was very into the topic and never made lecture boring i would recommend this class to anyone

Dev. Psych. - Lots of group projects, which I usually HATE, but Bridget makes them fun. Basically, if you show up and participate, you get full credit. Chapter tests are online, and easy A's if you can flip through the book and find answers fast enough. Final project is time consuming, but not hard. Bridget is fun and caring. TAKE HER CLASS!

I not not great in psychology. While I taking her online, I started to like her more! The beginning of the semester seems intimidating, but you will get an easy A l if you follow her instructions carefully and complete all the online learning curve, quizzes, discussions, and writing assignments on time!

Bridget is fantastic, I had a small class of about 14 people and it made the lectures more tailored to what we wanted to learn about. She is very easy to ask questions to and encourages students to connect to the material. One of my favorite professors I've had for sure!

Bridget is great. I took her online course and she responded right away with emails, and graded things fairly quickly for having so many students. You have plenty of time to do your things as there's a couple big due dates but don't do it all last minute or you will struggle. spread it out throughout the weeks she gives you. 100% recommend her.

This class doesn't have any tests, but there is a lot of quizzes and assignments. These are easy if you keep up with them and don't get behind. I also love how she gives you the option to write a paper or volunteer. I chose to volunteer because I hate writing papers and have been wanting to volunteer. She also gives great feedback!

She's highly knowledgeable and able to answer most questions that aren't addressed in the text. Lectures are in-depth and engaging. You will learn something. A large portion of your final grade comes from in-class group work, which is why attendance is so important. She's also energetic and that's always infectious.

I took Bridget's online option and I enjoyed it. There was weekly discussion posts that layout exactly what she was looking for. I choose to do the volunteer option because I did not want to write a longer paper. I enjoyed the volunteer and it was an easy way to get an A on that part of the class. If you follow the directions you will get an A.

Amazing Professor! She is kind, compassionate, hard working, and fun as all get out! She made the transition to online because of Covid really easy. Understanding and forgiving with mistakes. More than happy to help if you have questions. It is definitely a hard class, but she gives you plenty of resources for help. Lots of homework, but it helps!

Her grading was very clear and concise, if you do the work you will be graded fairly. I noticed a lot of classmates not following the DUE DATES closely. just do the work!

Master at online class organization, presented class information and grading opportunities in multiple different styles & methods, provided a structure that allowed students to work at their own pace, and shared helpful & caring insights along the way. Wish I could take from her again!

For a class taken entirely online with no scheduled days, Professor Reigstad is highly communicative. Her class is very organized with crystal clear grading criteria and expectations. The discussion posts require a lot of thoughtful research and writing, but she gives great personalized feedback for each post.

Professor Reigstad is FANTASTIC! I finished the class halfway through the semester, since we were able to work ahead. The discussion posts, quizzes, and case studies were actually fun to do. Going to lectures was also entertaining. This class was overall very interesting and Bridget was the icing on the cake! I have nothing but good things to say!

Professor Bridget is amazing! Her classes are well structured, though at times it can get confusing in the beginning because of her optional homework assignments. Overall she provides amazing resources and videos. She cares about her students and grades assignments promptly. She is super caring and available. Excited to take more classes with her.

Honestly I would give this Prof a 6/5 if I could. She is kind, fair and passionate about making sure her students succeed. Her grading style is unique but its April and I am done with her class, if I continue I can work to an A. If I do no more work for the rest of the semester, I will keep my B. If you work hard for a few months, you will succeed.

I took 2210 asynchronously. TONS of reading, test questions are sometimes very obscure. That said, her grading system is unique and forgiving. It's designed to let you choose what work you do to earn the grade you want - this was a refreshing experience. Very accessible and caring. Opportunities to make up late work with built in catch up weeks.

Dr. Reigstad is incredible! Definitely recommend her as a teacher. The class is time consuming but generally really easy and straightforward. 10/10!

Prof. Bridget is AMAZING! The way she teaches the course is so clear and easy to understand. It's all pretty straightforward. So many great things to say about her not enough room. But overall, she truly is amazing and understanding of her students. The only thing that can be concerning is the way she grades stuff using points.

I have learned a lot from Dr. Reigstad, and honestly she is one of the best professors at Normandale. The class is both fun and easy. The grading criteria is a little confusing in the beginning, but after you figure it out its smooth sailing from there on out.

She is AMAZING!! I can't say enough good things about her. As a PSEO student, she really makes sure to help you and offer support if needed. This class is a lot of work and takes some time to understand the schuedule and grading but after you did its very nice.

Amazing Psych Stats class. Very interactive. Seating arrangement was grouped at tables. allowed for students to interact with each other rather than sit in a lecture and work alone. It was a lot of fun and made it much easier to learn the content and ask others for help

Her class is very easy to follow and enjoyable. The textbook readings are a lot but nothing too difficult. She gives in-depth feedback on submissions and updates grades regularly. Her course is set up so you can skip certain assignments and still pass with a good grade. She is also very willing to meet with students who need extra help.

I absolutely loved Professor Reigstad's grading system. I made it very easy for me to stay on track and I ended up finishing all my work 3 weeks before the semester was over. She is super sweet and has 4 makeup work weeks through out the course.

Class is set up in a way that you could finish the course whenever you want, I finished early in March! Chapters are quite long to read and the discussion prompts are long (still easy), i prefer to do the Case studies. She has many options on what assignments you can do, as long as you get a certain number of points. Gives many catch-up weeks.

There is a lot to read and watch in this class, but Prof Reigstad really lets you set your own pace. Plenty of extra credit opportunities every unit, and you get to choose which units you do the discussions or exams. Outside perspectives are built in to discussions, so I really felt like we got a broad base of knowledge. I thought she was great.

Bridget is an incredible instructor. She understands that we're all humans, is very kind and understanding, and has a one week grace period for assignments. She makes classes engaging, and she isn't afraid of having conversation and throwing humor into the class period. Additionally, there are more points available to earn than you need for an A.

Stats is a hard class for a lot of people, myself included. But Bridget truly wants everyone to succeed in this course, and does her absolute best to achieve that. She will work *with* you to get the grade you want. She's very accomodating, but not enabling. She's never once made me feel stupid or incapable. I would take any class she taught!!

Although this is a material heavy class, professor Bridget organizes it in a way that makes it easily manageable and navigable. She gives you a few maps on how to get an A in her class and all you have to do is follow one. She also checks in with feedback often which is very helpful. As long as you stay on top of the deadlines, you should be good.

While attendance is not technically required, being in person to get the in-class activity points makes a huge difference to your grade and can help you with the other parts of course work if you get your other stuff done. Good class, helpful with grades, and really just wants you to do the best you can with everything going on in your life.

Bridget was an amazing prof. She made a hard subject (to me) bearable. Lots of in class activities and fun lectures. Lots of feedback on homework You can get away with writing notes from just doing the online homework and not having to read the textbook. No exams, just a semester long group project.

Professor Riegstad is an AMAZING teacher. She is passionate about her course, is clear on what she expects from her students, and has her class neatly organized into weekly modules. Bridget is probably the best professor I have ever had. She makes learning fun and manageable. The course is flexible and everything is available and well organized. She uses a points system that allows the student to select the assignments they are interested in doing, GENIUS! Sends progress emails with encouragement and likes to joke!

Instructions were clear from the start. You have the ability to work ahead if you had travel plans or whatever else. Always very responsive and would let you know where your grade was at multiple times throughout the course. She was also so encouraging. Also allows late work for some credit which not a lot of professors do!

Highly recommend! Although there is a lot of coursework, the due dates and no exams/quizzes seem reasonable. She is very understanding, and her grading is amazing. I finished the class a couple of weeks early due to her grading policy; she is very transparent about it, you just need always to read the syllabus and weekly posts.
