Ms. Puckett has been awesome. She loves math, and genuinely wants us to learn (and even enjoy) the material. She tries to learn names and talk to us. Her notes are done by an iPad connected to the screens, which makes it super easy to follow, since she's essentially taking notes with us. Gives you a week to complete online homework. Great prof!

Professor Puckett has made math very enjoyable, coming from someone who is not a big fan. Her lectures are very understandable! Of course there will be a few concepts that take time to grasp, but she truly does a great job explaining. One homework due every section, with some pop quizzes. She drops the lowest test grade out of 4.

Ms. Puckett is so sweet and a great prof. I am terrible at math, but she makes it easy to understand and is willing to work with you and help. Very few chances for extra credit, but if you come to class and do the work on ALEKS you will do fine. Homework every week due on sunday on an online program. She is super sweet and absolutely recommend. <3

Amazing class! One of the best math teachers I've ever had. She thoroughly explains the material and answers any questions anyone has. She is also very nice and peppy, which makes a traditionally boring math class entertaining. GO TO CLASS! Her lectures make the material clear. Professor Puckett is the sweetest professor I have had at KSU, you can tell she cares for her students. Always available to answer questions over email, in office hours, and in class. Just make sure you attend class to best understand the lectures. Would definitely recommend!

She was so nice and a great teacher. She explained things very well so I'd recommend going to class even if she didn't care. She'll definitely help you if you ask and she makes a lot of jokes. The only thing was that the homeworks were online but take forever, but they count for a lot so DO THEM ALL! Also go to the review days because they help

She gives guided notes for every chapter. She is very enthusiastic about math, which kind of rubs off on you. Highly recommend taking her class. If you struggle with math, this will be a lot easier for you. She is open to help, always responds to emails quickly and has a teaching assistant. Easy A if you go to class, pay attention and do the HW.

Ms. Puckett is without a doubt my favorite professor i've had at KSU. She makes a real effort to get to know every student in the room and she truly cares about everyone. This was a difficult class for me as most math classes usually are but she was always willing to help in anyway she could. If you have a chance to take this class definitely do.

She is one of the best professors at Kennesaw State University. She's extremely knowledgeable, detailed, and personable. I took this same exact class with a different professor before and had to withdraw. On the other hand, I ended this class with an A+ thanks to her doing a stellar job teaching the same content in a way that was clear to me!

Such a kindhearted professor! Truly wants you to succeed. I had her summer semester during the COVID pandemic and the course was taught through ALEKS. She was accessible and eager to help. Only negative was that she either takes 5 minutes or 5 days to answer emails. Exams are graded through ALEKS, but she'll go back through and give partial credit.

Ms. Puckett is a genuinely kind person, which does wonders when you despise math and are trying to survive a pandemic on top of it! Unlike my previous professors, the online lectures were concise yet very informative. The homework isnt light, but shes open to answering questions and is very helpful during office hours. The class I took moved online because of COVID-19, but despite that, her online office hours were extremely helpful and she always provided homework summaries for the tests. At the end of the semester, she offered extra credit. She truly cares about her students and wants them to succeed.

Initially signed up for this class in person, but it switched to online b/c of COVID. I was worried about taking a math class online, especially during the summer where everything is fast paced, but she was very helpfulshe posted videos, had office hours, replied to emails quickly, and explained confusing topics very well!! Sweetest professor.

I took this course online and surprisingly had very little difficulty with it. The professor posts video lectures for every unit, and they are great at teaching the material. The tests used lockdown browser but they aren't difficult and you are allowed to use a notecard with notes written on it.

Prof is the best math teacher I have ever had!!! I struggle in math normally but I swear Ive gotten a 100 on every test, quiz, and hw assignment. Prof used to teach little kids and her ways of teaching the notes shows that!! Her tests are short and easy. Each unit has 1 quiz which is open note and hw is due at the end of the unit. Best teacher.

Definitely take her, you won't regret it. She has a very nice way of teaching and is always willing to help. There are 3 tests that are in lockdown browser and she prepares you very well for them. There's homework in my math lab that isn't bad at all and 3-4 quizzes throughout the semester. Amazing teacher.

Professor Puckett is fantastic! There was homework for every unit, but you can do it until you get a 100. Studying the homework problems helped for the quizzes because they are on the same program. The tests were a combination of multiple choice and written, but she fully prepares you. Her notes are very detailed and organized. And she cares:)

Professor Puckett during online/Covid was actually quite smooth. Her workload isn't too hard to manage in my opinion. If you are not understanding something, you can refer back to the videos she posts (im not sure about in person) or email her. And her grading is very clear. I ended with an A with no stress from her class but do be prepared to work

Such a nice lady, drops a quiz and homework and grades more than fairly. The homework app is a little irritating and difficult but if you focus its a breeze.

She is the best professor to teach MATH1160. She used to be a tutor so she knows how to help her students. The content is difficult but she gets you through it. The typical tests and quizzes with weekly homework that is based on what we learned that week. She is the best, take her!

Prof. Puckett is very nice and cares for her students. Unfortunately she did sometimes do math problems incorrectly or just never upload the answer key to homework. I also didn't know there was a class groupme and SI until the very end of semester. Wish she had included all of her students in the opportunity to talk to the SI. Easy class for easy A

What a great professor! I absolutely dread going to math class usually, but I don't dread this one. It's hard material, that's for sure, but when you're having a hard time in this class, she will help you, and does a great job at helping as well and she will not stop helping you until you understand it. I've never met a professor this caring before

TAKE THIS PROF. I loved taking her Pre-Cal course. She explains everything so well and makes sure everyone is comfortable with the material. She really cares about her students. She somehow made math fun. There is homework every week but it is easy and you can keep trying until you get a 100. Tests were easy-study lecture notes and homework.

Ms. Puckett is probably the best professor here to take MATH 1160 with. I've never taken any calculus, pre-calc, or trigonometry related class in the past. It was really hard but with the help of her and the SI leader this class had, I was able to pass. If you have to take this class, take it with Ms. Puckett cause she will help you if you need.

Prof. Puckett is a good teacher. Out of Math 1111 and Math 1160, I'd take her for Math 1111. She teaches super clearly, but tended to rush because it was only a 50 minute class. The SI was SUPER helpful and they offered lots of review sessions so make sure to go to those. MyMathLab was our homework website and tests were in person. Put in the work!

Did a good job of teaching calculus. Insanely hard class but she does everything she can to help. Make sure you go to class and SI sessions because I was lucky to pull out a D without going to the SI sessions. Don't take anyone else for this course.

Hardest class I've ever been in. It wasn't her, just the subject she's teaching. DO NOT take anybody else for calc though because you won't find any better. Take pride in the homework because you can do it until you get a 100.

Even tho it was her first year teaching as a full prof, you can really tell she has a lot of prior experience tutoring and that she genuinely cares about her students. ALEKS HW every week, a quiz every chapter, 4 exams, and a final. Don't get me wrong, it's precalc, which sucks, but Professor Puckett makes it bearable. Great professor all around.

She cares a lot about her students and goes above and beyond to help you understand the material. Make sure to do the HW and she lets you use a note card for tests. Miss Puckett is the best math teacher I've ever had. Very understanding and takes her time teaching. Her class was the first time I learned math skills that I will use in real life. She does a few participation grades, so showing up is important. Study guides are thorough and you can have a notecard on all quizzes/tests! Definitely worth it!

Shes literally the best. She really takes her time to try to help you understand and makes math easy to understand. Shes so sweet and nice and really cares for her students. Just take her. Hw is on Aleks which are easy As. She does take attendance for participation though.

Loved her! She has such a nice soul. She tends to rush through topics (because the class goes by super fast) so make sure youre focused. The software we use in the class for the HW can be really annoying but Ms. Puckett is helpful and understanding.

I took Bridgette for College Algebra I loved her so much that I am currently taking her for Pre Calculus. She always makes sure to break down each problem so that it is comprehensible.I will tell you she gives a lot of homework on ALEKS, if you do not plan accordingly for homework you will be screwed. Especially if you are assigned 18 plus topics

Mrs. Puckett is very good at explaining complex topics in a simple way. The grading criteria is based mostly on weekly ALEKS work, with occasional tests, and as such is not in her control, but not too difficult. Her lectures are worth attending and very informational. Would take again

I usually really struggle with math subjects, but Prof. Puckett made pre-calc so much easier than I was expecting. She explains difficult concepts really well and is very open to questions during and after class. Such a nice Professor, I wish I could take calc 1 with her! (4 exams + 1 cumulative final, weekly hw in Aleks using pie progress)

I took Professor Puckett precalculus summer course. She is very kind and cares about her students. She is great at explaining things and all around just a great professor. Precalculus isn't easy for some, but this professor will make it much more manageable. Main grades are two tests and a cumulative final. ALEKS homework twice weekly also graded.

If you are going to take quantitative reasoning, take Ms. Puckett's class. She is the best math teacher I've ever had. She is very understanding & it is clear that she cares about her students. Homework assignments are twice a week & they are about 20 questions each. The material isn't very hard & she does a great job at explaining the topics.

She gives clear concise lessons and explanations of the material. The homework is manageable and adapts to your ability. She cares about her students. Definitely want to take her. Very comfortable for freshman.

She's honestly the sweetest person! She really does want to help you. Her homework is pretty easy, and her tests are pretty easy too. My suggestion would be to do the study guides for the tests. Attendance is mandatory, but if you have something come up, email her, she usually is pretty cool as long as she gets a heads up.

Mrs Puckett is very sweet! The class consists of 4 tests and a cumulative final. There are about 13 ALEKS assignments. The class can be a little challenging at times but she offers plenty of extra help out of class just don't be afraid to ask. She does grade assignments slowly but for the main part, she is an amazing teacher and I recommend her!!

Ms.Puckett's lectures are extremely helpful in learning the material. She has an outline of notes for you to either download or print out for every chapter. These come in handy since they have terminology that help you understand the material and the question that you will do in class for the day. She is extremely caring and very approachable!

Professor Puckett is an absolute angel. I have a complicated schedule due to my current work obligations, and she has been so understanding and patient. Her lectures are crystal clear, her positive attitude is contagious, and she obviously wants all of her students to succeed. If you attend the class and do the online homework, her class is easy.

This was the easiest math class I've ever taken. There is no algebra involved it is a lot of critical thinking. There are a few topics that are a little difficult but she makes it super simple to understand. There is homework due every Tuesday and Saturday but it really isn't bad. There are 4 tests the last one being a group project. Take her 10/10

Love her, she breaks the silence. She made math easy to understand, gave random extra credit. She did 4 tests and a final. and she uses ALEKS for another grade. If you're not sure about your test grades being good all semester long, I would do ALEKS 100% so your grade can go up. The open lab is helpful, look at the resources folder for more help.

I took the first Biocalc class(1197) with her. She is the main reason I did well. She provides fill-in-the-blank notes for each class. Nice, funny, flexible. Slowed things down and pushed back tests/due dates when we needed. Provided extra videos and practice questions. Lot's of hw, but it helps. Biocalc is easier than calc 1. Best math prof ever!

Absolute angel of a professor. Terrific lectures, and she makes them very funny and engaging. She has 4 test grades and two of them were free 100s as long as you were there. There is a lot of hw but it helps you understand the content better. Overall I would definitely recommend her!

Prof. Puckett was a great teacher to have. I had her for calc science and it was ofc a difficult class bc of the material. but she does try to give many practice problems to help + hw. some extra credit. very nice and has some good dad jokes.

Know that this is a professor who actually wants you to pass! she offers SO MANY chances to bump up your grades and get in touch with her for help. she has amazing lectures and notes- and will work with you personally if you need help (I am proof)! I am genuinely so thankful I took her class freshman first semester because she helped me so so much.

Professor Puckett was an amazing teacher, I would take a class from her again in a heartbeat. She provides printable versions of the worksheets that will be covered in the lecture and goes at a good pace. She is super nice and approachable and will personally help you if needed. 10/10 professor.

Super nice would give out extensions on homework if you asked beforehand. Paper exams somewhat based off of ALEKS Homework, and she gave out partial credit for each exam, No retakes on test. She really wants her students to pass, though you have to work a bit for an A . Pay attention in class and do the homework and study-guide and you'll do good.

She is such a great teacher-- so caring and you can tell she's genuinely passionate about educating. The class itself was very easy, and she took everything at a slow pace to make sure everyone was keeping up. She has printable notes pages that cover the lecture material, and the tests are easy if you come to class and pay attention.

She takes forever to grade, but her lectures are helpful and the homework is not a waste of time. Get ready to listen to corny jokes and feel stupid for a while, but it gets easier. She answers questions and the class environment is chill.

The sweetest and most patient math teacher I've had. I understood everything very easily. She takes a bit long to update grades but she's a good and fair grader and uses grade scope to let you view your test corrections.

Professor Puckett is super caring and super engaging. She's a slow grader for the tests which makes it tough to know where you stand and there's a lot of online homework but you've got ages to complete it, she gives extensions on them without question and definitely wants you to succeed.

4 exams, 1 project, and the first few exams are the hardest. She does take forever to grade, but it's not a course she tries to make difficult. She tries to make lectures interesting and get the class to know each other.

Her tests are similar to the study material she provides. My only complaint is that she took long to grade exams and left us not knowing our grades most of the semester.

she was really sweet and funny. she made learning calculus at 8 am a lot better. her teaching wasnt too effective, she could've explaining things a bit better. and in my class, the only grades were online homework and tests. she was a pretty slow grader too so i wasnt able to keep up with my grade in the class like i wanted to.

I took Ms. Puckett's class in the fall of 2024 and she was the best math teacher I've taken at KSU. Her test aren't difficult if you study and the HW is NOT ALEKS which makes it less stressful. For her CALC 1179 class she also allowed the TI-84 CE PYTHON on test.

Ms. Puckett is very kind and understanding. She is a VERY slow grader and slow to answer her emails though. Other than that she's super sweet and made the class easy and very digestible in material. Definitely worth taking if you want a good grade

Very sweet & caring lady who wants nothing but the best for students. Material wasn't too difficult to understand if you came to class, completed the homework, and practiced. Homework was based on textbook (due Tuesdays and saturdays). At times, she does respond to emails slowly, and takes a minute with grading.

Very sweet professor. I have never passed math with higher than a C since early high school until her class. She sent me a few lectures on days I was gone as well for good reason. However, she takes so long to do grades or respond to emails.

good professor, attendance was 50/50 she had a sign in sheet early into the semester and then stopped requiring it, homework is a big part of grade, she uses Cengage. Really tries to make sure you understand and does not make you sound dumb, always takes questions and stops if she feels like she's going too fast.
