She is sooo helpful and explains every speech and powerpoint very clearly. I recommend her to everyone that needs to take public speaking! She is GREAT!!

She is a great teacher. She understands how nervous a student can be before a speech and will not go hard on you, she just wants you to try! Do all HW, extra credit and always remember to cite sources when speaking and keep your outline to one sentence per point. She will deduct points for this but not for your speech which is really cool!

Ms. Hibbeler was a great professor! The speech class I took was a hybrid class so we only met once a week to give our speeches. She grades very fairly, provides excellent feedback, and is willing to help you out no matter what. She realizes that people get nervous and makes sure you feel comfortable while giving your speech. Take her!

As long as you remember to do the homework and write the outlines properly, you will ace this class. She doesn't really reprimand nervous speakers. It is a hybrid class, so there's online work and speeches in class. Highly recommended for nervous speakers.

She's a very tough grader for speeches. I started the class with 30 classmates now there's only around 12. I've gotten B's on all my speeches, make sure to go to her office before your speech to make sure your outline has no mistakes, so she won't take any points off

Britney, not Brittany!! Anyway, she's awesome. She seems to be pretty young and I thought she really connected with her students. Do the discussions and you get 100s. The exams were spelled out in the powerpoints. She emailed me back about help on the ONE essay we had all semester within 3 hours. I got a 96 and only worked on it the day it was due.

Prof. Hibbeler runs a relatively fair class considered that the topic of Public Speaking can be quite discretionary. She is helpful outside of class and is a very nice lady. Overall, I would recommend her.

Took this class online during summer session. Online assignments (discussion posts, peer responses, etc.) all have a minimum word requirement. 2 speeches - both required specified time range, full outline, note cards, verbal citations, visual aid and minimum of 4 observers. Rubrics provided for grading of speeches. Easy A.

I took this class in the Summer II session. She was literally the best professor ever. I communicated with her a lot, and every time I emailed she would reply within 2 hours. She is so sweet! This class was pretty easy. 4 speeches and everything else is pretty much common sense or out of the book. Take her for sure!!!!!!

Do the weekly quizzes and journal entries, easy 100s. Test questions come from the lecture slides. Speech 1 is a group speech and you don't choose your group, so take charge and get it done early. Speech 2 is individual - just follow the instructions STRICTLY. It's easy to forget about this class, which is why I made a B. TAKE IT, just do the work.

Ms. Hibbeler taught my online speech class. While you have to do a fair amount of work for any speech class, I enjoyed having her as the instructor. She graded fairly, had clear criteria while giving us a lot of verbal freedom, and responded quickly to emails.

Did public speaking online with her because I needed the class. Was really great for my first online class and posted lots of updates and reminders and the class is pretty easy if you are willing to read and care. Highly reccomend!

I feared having to take speech but taking this class with Ms. Hibbeler over winter break was the best decision ever! She was straightforward with her expectations, wasnt too nit picky about speeches and was very accessible! She gave a generous amount of time in between due dates, too.

I took her online portion of her speech class and she has it well laid out. All the dates are set at the beginning of the semester and she adds course announcements everyday reminding you what is due. If i had a chance to take this class again I would no doubt!

I took this class online. There are 10 short quizzes (super easy), 4 recorded speeches (around 5 minutes each), a midterm, and a final. Make sure you read the criteria for the speeches. Ms. Hibbeller provides all the info you'll need, and she's super quick with emails. The hardest part about the class is getting 4 people to listen to your speech.

I took this course as a winter minimester. This class taught me so much. As long as you read the lessons and listen to the lectures and take notes you should do well in the class. Also, make sure you keep up with your work and do not procrastinate because there is so much due in short periods of time.

There are 10 mandatory quizzes but if you read the assigned chapters they are easy to pass. Overall a great prof with a managable workload and really cares about her students and their needs.

Took her class as a minimester during the break and it was very manageable. She's very responsive to emails and helped me out a few times when i was in a rut! Gave good feedback on the 4 speeches on what to improve on and really cared to make her students succeed! Definitely would recommend her as a speech prof.

I have met very few professors that have made me feel like I matter. She is by far one of the best professors I have had the pleasure of taking. She is understanding and generous as well which is really great. I had to work during the winter minimester nonstop but the course was not to difficult to handle. 10/10 would take again :)

Took a Speech class online and was unable to take the final exam on the day it was given and she was able to be flexible with my schedule. Very caring and answers within the hour!

So I want to warn you this is not your typical Speech class. Its more like psychology. you only have 1 main paper to write and the others are just short essays. you also have one verbal speech to give. She offers a lot of extra credit. If you cant get the online book, dont worry you wont need it. The notes cover everything.

Easy A. I took her for SPCH1318 online and made an A. All tests are directly from the powerpoints. She offers great rubrics, breaking everything down. Always answers emails in a timely manner. I highly recommend!

Ms. Hibbeler was the best professor I could have taken for my Mini Semester! There are 10 quizzes that are all easy A's. There are 4 speeches overall during the course. She gives really good feedback and responded fast when I had any questions. I was nervous about taking my first online class, but Ms. Hibbeler made it so simple and enjoyable.

I wanted to list the difficulty to 5 because I felt that I was too old to go back to school, and I didn't have confidence in myself to succeed. I'm very thankful that I had a great professor that was able to answer all of my questions and encourage me through my worries. She's the best! :-)

Professor Hibbeler was such a great professor for a summer course! Assignments weekly were quizzes or journals. The quizzes we 10 questions, and you had 30 min to complete them. Prof Hibbeler isn't the most fun professor or entertaining, but her class was super easy. The midterm, final, and quizzes were straight off of a quizlet and the only other grades were the speeches which if you hit everything on the syllabus and give a decent speech then you'll get an easy A.

I took a May Minimester course with Prof. Hibbeler Honeycutt and it was by far the easiest course I have ever taken. The quizzes, midterm, and final are all on quizlet, and the speeches all took me less than an hour and a half to prepare for and present and I didn't get below a 90 on any of them. If you have the opportunity, take her!

All around great professor, I wasn't the best student and sadly will probably end up with a B but that is in no way the fault of the teacher, she gives you everything you need to succeed and it is up to you to get there. Extremely fair in what she asks of you, would recommend to anyone taking these classes.

The class was straightforward. She has set office hours but if you need to meet with her outside of those hours she is more than willing. she provides everything you need (you can opt out of the textbook.) You are not required to go to class (still recommend) She has extra credit at the end of the semester for speeches (major part of the grade).

Professor Honeycutt was a straight forward professor, she does allow extra credit for exams. She also always emailed me back within 2-3 hours of emailing her. She was understandable when it came to any health-related issues. She gives great feedback on work assignments and the workload for her class was not a lot! I would take her again!

She is such an excellent professor. she is devoted to her work and takes teaching seriously. Her class is so fun and easy, and you'll definitely learn a lot!

I took this class as a minimester, and I am so glad I did. We had 2 exams, 4 quizzes, 3 discussion boards and 4 speeches, but it honestly was not that bad at all. I was able to get ahold of her outside of class, which was crucial as this is an online course. She was very kind an helpful in her responses, and she was an easy grader. She was great!

I took this class to get my comm 203 credit at a&m and professor honeycutt was truly so organized and an overall great teacher. I got A's on every assignment and the speeches were super easy to do. 4 speeches, two exams, 4 quizzes, and 3 discussion posts in a minimester felt like a lot at first, but it was by far the easiest course ever. TAKE HER!!

Professor Hibbeler was great! I feel she graded fairly and was very reasonable. She was quick to respond to emails and offered help if wanted! I took SPCH 1315 as a 3-week May-mester course and didn't have any troubles! If you stay on top of your work you and meet all requirements you will do well!

She is a great professor! All tests are open note. There are a few writing assignments, but they are very simple and subjective. She is also very understanding. My dogs passed away during this course, and she granted me an extension on 2 assignments. I strongly encourage to take her class if you're looking for a great prof!

Professor Honeycutt was an awesome teacher for speech. She clearly explained the rubrics and what was expected for each speech. She was also very helpful in answering any questions I had. The class has a few online homework assignments and 4 major speeches. Without a doubt would recommend her if you need to take speech 1315.

TAKE HONEYCUTT!! She's the sweetest person and her class isn't hard at all, as long as you put in the work. She grades pretty easily and will accommodate your needs. The midterm and final were online and not proctured but it's all common sense. Towards the end, two extra credit essays took me like 30 minutes to do and I got 15 extra points.

Very good professor, most of the grade were the speeches which she is very lenient on grading, as long as you follow her rubric and make the time requrimen you will almost certainly get an A, assignment are typically very easy and the midterm/final are all based on those assignments. Extra credit was offered but I already had an A in the class.

Take this professor!! she is so sweet and helpful. i got an A on all except for 2 assignments. we got to use our notes on everything-even the final. literally if you read the textbook and turn your stuff in you will make at least a B. seriously, she is so nice and helpful. great class, I learned so much.

I would 100% recommend taking Professor Hibbler!! She is super understanding, easy to communicate with, and makes her assignments clear. I took this course in an eight-week session which was a heavier load, but she made all the assignments clear and made giving the speeches causal. Overall, the assignments take some preparation but great class.

Very free class, just show up for ur speeches and do the smartbook and u get easy A, speeches were not hard just practice them one or twice and use the notecards. Also very nice professor

Grades fast, responds to emails fast, and gives helpful and accurate feedback. Do yourself a favor and take her class. Being in her class is like winning the lottery. She is super sweet and amazing and I wish more professors would take after her. She is accessible after and before class and truly wants the best for you. Lots of online HW outside of class but nothing you can't finish in 2 hours. She also makes you do speeches and is a very easy grader and I had fun.

Professor Honeycutts class is manageable and well-structured. There are 4 speeches, 10 textbook assignments, and 2 exams, but as long as you complete every assignment and follow the rubrics, you will get a good grade. Attendance is only required on the days you give a speech. I highly recommend her class—she is one of the best professors I've had!
