What can I say, she did an awesome job and left no stone un turned. We got into christianity and we also got into atheism. It was a wonderful class with some wonderful lectures and reading.
She was clear, but was too easy. I learned nothing more than I had learned in my 8th grade logic class. I can see some people would benefit from this. But I was looking for a much more intense class. It did not seem qualified as a college course.
I loved her so much! She was very funny! She always told me where to read before the lecture. She was very helpful. You would get good GPA from this class! I strongly recommend you to take her classes!!
I took this class because I did not want to take two math classes! I got 4.0 from her. I did really bad on one test, but each test she gave me extra credit. I loved logic!!
Britni is younger and motivated, and she knows that logic can be a very boring subject, so she does her best to make it fun and exciting. For example, calling a desk "an idea" and then going up and hugging it. She has a pretty cool nose ring too.
Britni is a very motivated, energetic teacher. I love her style of teaching as she makes it fun to learn logic (which at times can be boring). I strongly recommend her as a teacher.
Really nice teacher. She is funny too.
really good teacher. real layed back
She's very helpful and she really explains the subject.
EASY! Take her!
Great!~!Explains a lot. Great lectures that get your motors turning. Even though i don't like the subject.
Fun and easy!
She is very helpful, and if you don't understand something she will take time out and explain it to you. I was expecting logic to be difficult and I wouldn't be able to understand any of it, but she made it so simple to understand. Show up to class and you will do fine, just don't take it at 7:30, its too early to think :)
She's cool, however her classes are a bit childish, we played with crayons all the time and had "circle" time were we sat around and did nothing. She's fun and totally easy!
fun and easy class, but you need to get 100% for a 4.0

Britni creates a fun and interesting class environment. She clearly enjoys what she teaches and exhibits a good sense of humor. Exams were only scheduled when she was confident that we all understood the material. Her approachable demeanor and availability outside of class makes Britni one of the best professors I've ever had.
very nice teacher! fun and easy class! love it.
she is a babe!!!
there is no test for her philosopy 101. fun, easy, i would recommand her to anybody. Easy A
Britni is an awesome teacher. She's energetic, and really cares that we understand. She's not full of herself like some other teachers are. She's funny, and doesn't make you feel stupid for getting the wrong answer when doing problems. She doesn't bog you down with homework. Because she's so good at teaching, it makes you wanna do well and succeed.
Britni Weaver is an awesome teacher. She is clever, intelligent and HOT! Definately take her classes, you will enjoy the time you get to spend with her.
Premieres the class with good energy. Good at mediating class discussions. Pay attention and stay on task with the class pace. she's Supa cute too.
Easy teacher. Even those students who have missed many days of class will likely pass no problem, but Intro to Logic can get confusing if you miss the wrong days. Stay on top of your reading and you should do fine. She is very approachable and willing to help whenever necessary. Take her class...Easy A if you attend.
Britni is an extremely helpful teacher. If you ever get confused, find her, and she will help you out. I recommend her for logic.
Right, like others say she's hot and easy - very nice, feels like she's one of the group (which I'm not sure was always a good thing, though it was fun anyhow, just sometimes a bit childish). Take others if you're of the more serious sort though.
Britini is able to present controversial and difficult to process concepts with ease and grace. She is a joy to be in class with, she thinks deeply about everything everyone says and always can respond to even the most tangential statement and bring it back to the topic at hand. She really respects her students, and its evident by the extra time
She seems a little scatterbrained at first, but is really one of the most analytical people I've ever met. The material is presented in a clear and direct manner and she answers questions in a way that makes it easy to grasp what you're struggling with. Not just a good teacher, but also a fun class.
This was an excellent class, Britni is VERY helpful (especially if you don't have the textbook, she has a few that she is usually willing to loan out), there is a good amount of extra credit for each exam if needed, and you notes aren't entirely necessary as long as you READ the textbook. All in all, great class, wonderful teacher :)
she is a great teacher, she is willing to dumb it down for anyone if you cant get it. For logic her test are from the examples from the book and lectures, and philosophy was amazing....Loved the subject and would recommend her to anyone who needs a social science credit LOVEEE HEEERRRR!!!
Britni is amazing and she presents us a lot of examples of what the test would look like. She gives us extra credits to help our test scores. Great and cool professor. Definitely recommended for students who don't understand Philosophy.
Easy class, very nice and cool teacher, but very boring if you're good with reasoning. I had a friend taking Kramer's class at the same time, and they learned way more and had a lot more fun. Britni won't get as far or get you as interested. For Logic, take Britni for an easy pass, Kramer if you love to learn and like a challenge.
Britni tries hard to explain things so that everyone understands and welcomes questions. It was still a difficult class for me to learn as it is a lot of formula memorization and less what you think logic would actually be about. It was also difficult to learn the formulas as they build on each other quickly. So attend class and do the extra credit
she is really easy and she will pass everyone! also really cool!
she is such a nice person super helpful but omg the concept its self is impossible. i thought like oh its into to logic cant be that bad YEAH RIGHT!!! stay away from this subject, but if you have to it then take it with her she is amazing! buy any year text book, like i got mine for four dollars so just buy one, it'll help!STUDYgo 2class eveyday!
Britni is a great teacher. She's very approachable, and is able to explain things very clearly. Don't worry about the subject, she can break it down for you so anyone can get it. She's very clear and helpful and offers extra-credit, so there's no reason to fail. I highly recommend her Intro to Logic. It's required for the AA and useful in real life
not good...try taking some1 else!!
Britni is a mostly nice lady but she talks to her classes like they are a bunch of kindergartners. This class was extremely boring because she will work on one chapter of the book for a week, going over the same thing everyday. And I missed a quiz once without it being excused and she was very mean to me. Take someone else you wont learn anything!
Britini is a great teacher. Yes you have to go to class and do the reading but if you want to get anything out of college you have to do that anyway. Loved her intro class and found it extremely interesting. She does a great job of making the material understandable and fun.
Mrs. Weaver is a bit on the ditsy side; she is sometimes difficult to follow and chooses odd topics. But she is a nice person and wants everyone to do well in her class, and offers TONS of extra credit opportunities!
Britni is a very likeable teacher. She has a very friendly, cool and youthful way about her. TAKE HER for intro to philosophy. She gave me a 4.0 on every single paper I did, and I didn't even fully understand the concepts. Get the book, but you will hardly need it. I never brought it to class. Great teacher, plus she's really cute to look at :)
Britni is a cool teacher. She is incredibly scattered though. Her lectures are difficult to follow and I suggest you study a lot for quizes or tests. This class in general is hard to follow and all around useless. Britni makes is kind of fun because she is kind of crazy. You'll laugh at her. But don't inspect an easy A in this class.
I love her as a person! As a teacher I have a really hard time understanding her verbally, because she can speak very fast and has a different speech pattern. The subject is difficult and I feel she doesn't present clearly. She gives a lot of XC, and cares for the students. Everything is straight from the book.
LOVE LOVE LOVE Ms. Weaver! I have had several medical appointments this quarter and she was extremely understanding. She goes above and beyond to show that she actually cares for her students, without bending her expectations :) She is fair and fun! However, this course is SO hard! You need to make sure that you study nightly to fully grasp PHIL106
Britni is a wonderful teacher. she has discussions a lot and has us write half page journals every day and 4-5 essays throughout the quarter. It is really not that hard of a class as long as you don't procrastinate and get your work done. She is really nice and will help you out if you have any problems. I highly recommend her.
Took Britni for logic this quarter. If you are going to take logic, which is an EXTREMELY difficult subject, definitely take her. She presents it as clearly as you can possibly present logic. She also offers tons of extra credit if you do poorly on a test. I brought one of my scores from a D to a 4.0. Tough subject, but good teacher.
This was an excrutiatingly difficult subject, but Ms. Weaver was very helpful. Take her if you absolutely have to take this class. She's really nice and reasonable. She gives lots of extra credit. Plus she's really cute and I I loved the way she dressed! She's definitely a free spirit and just all around cool person.
This Subject is crazy to learn as the course goes on it gets more confusing, but stick with it and study the terms you will get good grades. There is so much extra credit that it becomes a relief seeing a bad grade you just, got turn into an A. If it wasn't for the extra credit, I would have only received a C instead of an A.
Not a very fun or interesting class. She is a nice a lively person but her teaching is a little blah.
She is a great teacher and really nice. Sure, its a little hard to listen to her lectures and such, but She will try to help and give out extra credits if you really need it. I really liked this teacher! Highly recommended.
Ms. Weaver is a passionate teacher although she can be hard to follow at times. She gives out pamphlets so no need to purchase a text book, but she mostly lectures the information you need to know in order to write the 5 papers due throughout the quarter. You receive credit for daily, half page journals and showing up. Don't show up and don't pass!
Easy A. On one test, I got about a 70%, but I was able to raise my grade for the test up to a 4.0 by doing extra credit. If you're trying to fulfill requirements and boost your GPA, then I would highly recomend this class. You can also miss quite a few classes and still be fine.
She's one of my favorite teachers. I always like her lectures and she kinda funny. You can tell that she loves Philosophy and would defiantly recommend her.
Great teacher, fun lectures. Helpful, nice. Don't be afraid to ask for help. Show that you are thinking in your papers and journal entries. Great rapport with students. Funny, engaging, really wants you to think. One of the Best! Above all she is nice and isn't trying to make it miserable, she wants you to think.
She's great at what she does. She gives good feedback and is clear in her lectures. There's a lot of reading. You keep a journal that is graded a few times throughout the quarter. You have a final paper. There's not much homework. Great class. You'll learn a lot. Text book wasn't needed. She printed out all the info you needed.
She is such an amazing professor, she makes the course very clear and understandable. Her quizzes and test are on the harder side of things but there is usually extra credit for the test. Do the homework or the test are unpassable, but she doesn't really check if you did it. Overall, a very good course and teacher.
I loved Britni! At first I was really worried that the class would be hard because I was taking it instead of a math class but it turned out to be very simple. There is a lot of memorization so flashcards are helpful. She doesn't check homework but if you want to do well on tests it's very important because she bases her quizzes and tests off it.
Took her religion class. She is more agnostic, but she illustrates both sides, and doesn't push any beliefs, she just states facts. She is very smart on these topics and is an awesome teacher. She gets a little scatter-brained sometimes, and isn't always super clear with what she wants in assignments, but this class is very interesting.
Britni is a great teacher! She gives a lecture every day, but tries to make it fun and interesting. She is very nice. If you do the assignments and papers this class is an easy A.
Ms Weaver went out oft her way to help me to understand the most difficult class I've ever taken. She is an amazing communicator, and very human on her interpretations of your situation. I would hang out with her if I could. I think the way that she sees both sides of a given situation would be a stellar example to set for other professors.
Boring class. I thought my handwriting was bad. White board is nearly unreadable. Says we have homework and doesn't grade homework. Email for grades. Attendance is graded. You'll fall asleep. Usual philosophy class structure. Teacher talks and talks and you write maybe a sentence or 2 and just listen idly.
No Structure. Bad class. Boring. She knows about the subject but is too caught up in listening to everyone who raises their hands and goes on tangents that are a million years long. How can someone turn such an interesting subject into mental mush? If only we had a structured lecture and consistent assignments.
Britni is a very friendly and caring instructor. If you try you'll get a 4.0. For every test she gives she also gives a hefty extra credit assignment. She is also very understanding with people turning in late assignments. Her classes are not difficult at all.
Love Love Love her. Her class is s easy and her lectures are not that boring. She gives good info and notes you can easily write your paper on. You have to do 4 to 5 papers in her class. 2.5 to 3 pg ones. but super easy if you are good at stating your point of view.
Awesome lady! The lectures are pretty interesting and you only have to write a few papers which only need to be a few pages long. Easy and interesting class!
Super easy and fun class. She was always in a good mood and made the class a happy environment. Whole grade is basically dependent on tests, but she gives extra credit on them.
She's very understanding and caring to both domestic and international students. She does give out tons of extra credits so if you're aiming for an 4.0, just do the work and you'll be just fine. Also she's always in a good mood and loves to dress up in class :D But her class can be boring sometimes because it is explicitly lecture-based.
Phil 101 with Mrs Weaver is SUCH AN EASY CLASS. It's too easy, frankly. There is no way you could possibly fail. Great for the credit, bad for if you want a challenging but rewarding course.
Adored Britni Weaver! She is so kind and always wants you to succeed. She accepts early work and she'll honestly tell you how to make it better. She had the best final for Phil. 101. Such a fun class. I now wish I was a philosophy major. If you can, take Professor Weaver.
Entire grade is based on papers and journals. You write a total of five critical papers, four 2-3 page and one 5 page. They are easy A's if you just have her read and critique your outlines before hand and possible go to a tutor. Very accessible for help on papers. The lectures can be boring but she encourages group participation/questions.
It takes a lot of listening skills for this class, although Britni is awesome and I highly recommend her for any class, she is always bright and happy. She makes class entertaining and enjoyable.
Shes great take her class. She made all the information very easy to understand. She had very interactive lectures, shes very lively, and the majority of her class is just discussion and lecture and the only assignments are journals with 6 entries, and then 4-5 essays, final is on the Matrix, the class really makes you think and shes fun.
Best professor so far.
The Most easy class that I ve ever taken. Just read the book and study for test. She gives you every test, one extra credit assigment.
She makes sure that everyone understands what she is lecturing about and the class is very student led. There wasn't a lot of homework, about 4 reflective journals and 5 short essays. She keeps it interesting, unbiased, and gives everyone a chance to participate. Very accommodating if you make it a point to talk to her about missed class.
Great professor and good class. As long as you complete all of the readings and take notes then you will get an A. Sometimes there were many readings/long lectures but still definitely an easy class to pass.
Took it hybrid in the fall. The lectures were optional but helpful. She always explained things really well and was happy to help you. Extra credit was offered. Only gripe is that the homework is a little tedious.
Mrs. Weaver was a very caring professor who responded fairly quickly. She doesn't have many assignments, and gives extra credit. The course is test heavy, and I would suggest buying the book. Unless you study, the tests will not be easy. Do the extra credit, it will help in the long run, recorded lectures are ok. Don't be afraid to ask questions.
There isnt a wrong answer in this class and Brittni is very caring and inspiring!
I always felt completely lost and overwhelmed in this class. There was a ridiculous amount of online homework, with 40-90 questions per assignment. I never felt like I had enough time to get everything done before a test. The lectures were long and not at all helpful.
No issues with professor Weaver but I would NOT recommend taking this class online. There were many times where I felt I would have benefited from immediate feedback with the material. I'm doing above average in the class but it's requiring a lot of extra work on my own including completing extra credit assignments. Have yet to take the final.
I wish I could have taken the class in person, but she's a great teacher! She gives extra credit, but get the book and read it if you want to do well on exams! If I can fit it into my schedule, I will definitely take another class from her!
She didn't give any clear instructions. Except for an initial hello, it is up to you to read large chapters, with section quizzes (not for grade) followed by a weekly test that ranged from 50-90 points. Overall the course was very confusing, and I got lost way to many times. When I reached out I got simple answers that didn't help, or no response.
She would give two weeks of assignments out at a time so you can work at your own pace. About 7 assignments each time. However, each assignment would take about 4 to 6 hours to complete, with lecture. Theres an exam after each homework drop too. Hard class but extra credit brought up my grade from 3.0 to 4.0! Do the extra credit and youll be fine!
I felt respected. The class was very easy. You should get the textbook. She gives quizzes based on them, however she does go over the material in class, so you might not always need to read it.
This class can be a bit of a tougher one. But the professor is very understanding will will work around your needs and help you when needed. She is great at responding quickly. I highly recommend taking her classes.
She was decent. A lot of homework but, there was plenty of extra credit. Exams are self paced. Homework due every other week. Make sure you read and do the assignments and you will be fine. Not a super difficult class, just time demanding.
I really enjoyed Britni as a professor, but the subject was not necessarily for me. There were 5 exams (including the final, non-cumulative) and then the rest of your grade is attendance and the homework. The homework was due every other week but was time-consuming. You could extra credit by going to philosophy presents too. The tests were short.
Weaver-Forsman is a wonderful professor who is very accommodating and understanding. She will work with you if you stay in communication with her. She provides detailed feedback on assignments. The class is lecture-heavy, with a lot of homework. It's due every other week, but if you stay organized it's manageable. Lots of extra credit opportunities
I had taken Britni's class in Spring 2021. It was the last class I needed for graduation but during that time I was going through horrible depression, especially since it was at the height of the pandemic of COVID-19. She was so understanding & worked w/ me through the difficulties I was going through. It was a miracle that I passed. Thank you!
PHIL&120 was not easy, but Britni was a stellar professor. She could explain and break down everything in small chunks. She doesn't really have due dates, she would rather you take time to learn. Easy to reach online. Very entertaining and helpful lectures. You may struggle but she offers EC so don't worry. I only wish we had more lecture time!
