She's happy and fun and peppy, but I don't think she's that great of a teacher. Then again, fall of 2010 was her 3rd semester teaching EVER! She's always reminding you that she's the teacher and your the student. I would DEFINITELY recommend SI if you get stuck with her.

She made math fun for me, and I was not a fan of math coming into her class. You have to be willing to put in the time to do well. Passing calc can be done, and Brittanney makes it enjoyable! Trust me, you will not regret taking her.

Professor Amento is freaking awesome. She makes calculus clear and semi easy. 2 exams 1 final (all online), and 1-2 quizzes a week online along with homework. She does not try and trick you. Her exams are exactly like her reviews just with different numbers. She responds to emails the same day! I wish every professor at FAU was like her!

WATCH THE LECTURES! My biggest mistake was getting too bored and trying to understand just by doing the hmwrk. Calculus would have been a lot easier if I did not wait to do this until the final exam. Professor Amento is by far and I mean by far one of the best math instructors I ever had. On top of that she is one of the most supportive, sweet, and kind professors out there. Her exam reviews are the exact exams just different numbers. She makes Calc beyond achievable. FYI your final exam (fairly easy) grade can sub as your whole class grade!!

It is an onlne class. Professor Amento was one of the best teacher I ever had. This is the first time that I rate a professorr on that website because of her. review are just like the exam you do not need a book. (save money) but you need to watch every lecture before doing homework because some of the quizzes are really identical to the lecture

Prof Amento is awesome. She makes calculus clear and even fun for you and help as much as she can. She is also very responsive when you have questions or requests for partial credit on quizzes and tests (make sure you take advantage of this!). Watch lecturesreviews+do the homework+take the quizzes and an A will be easy. I didn't use textbook.

Methods of Calc is pretty hard but she explains things really well and constantly reminds you of past concepts that will help with the content she is going over presently. She seems pretty nice. My second time taking the class so maybe that's why I didn't have too much trouble lol

I do not like math at all but she made it so much better. She gives you powerpoint with all the lectures to help you. She is really good about emailing back. She will also try and give you partial credit where she can IF you email her about.

I am terrible at math and needed this last class for my major - was hesitant about taking an online course but she actually records a lecture that you can watch, you don't "teach yourself". A lot of homework on MML, but it helps. Each test gets a review and the tests are the review with different numbers - if you're debating her, you shouldn't!

I withdrew from Methods twice at FAU, I am terrible at math and thanks to her I finally get it! Online homework & quizzes every week. 2 exams & final. I failed one exam badly, and Prof. Amento let my final exam grade replace the low exam grade. It saved me big time. MUCH easier than the in class professors. Don't be scared of online, she rocks.

She is awesome!!! This is the 3rd time I take this class, I guess 3rd time is a Charm. Calculus is not my thing, but she is beyond awesome, she always helps she checks our work and gives us partial credits. Please take her if you want to pass this class, Not an easy A but you can still do it if you do all the work.

Repeat course. I understand calc so much better now. She is clear cut and is always willing to help. three test and many small quizzes and homework. Nothing is busy work its all beneficial to passing. exams review is just like actual exam just diff. #s. Dont memorize actually learn concepts. NO WAY ANYONE SHOULD FAIL! I made 100s on everything!

Easily one of the most helpful and caring math professors FAU has. I'm terrible at math and she was always willing to help her students so they pass the course. She is willing to give extra credit as long as you email her explaining your mistake. I wish I would've studied harder for my first exam because you only have 3 so you need to do well.

Truly care for all her students. Gives a lot of extra credit and chances to bring up your grade. Take her! Slacked off in the beginning, but realized how easy the class was and went from a D to a B+ before the semester ended.

Uses both videos and powerpoints to explain the topics. Study these, do the homework, do the quizzes, and you'll be golden for the tests. Also provides thorough reviews before each test. Any issues/concerns about things like grades, email her, she will respond to them in a timely manner.

I was super skeptical taking this class online because math is not my strong subject area. However, if you keep up with the weekly HW and quizzes you will have no trouble passing the class. The lectures are pre-recorded and you can print out the powerpoint notes ahead of time; designed for you to fill in and follow along. She is nice and helpful!

Amento is the best math teacher, especially if you're not a fan of math. Her lectures are directly relevant to your homework & the homework mirrors the quizzes. Professor Amemto is the greatest math professors i have ever had; she one of the hardest classes at FAU seem pretty easy with all the resources and care she provided. The class consist of homework per section and really short quizzes, so study the homework sections for that quiz. For test there are only 3 ( 2 regular and a final) all very easy.

She is a wizard when it comes to math. Do not be scared of her, she is an angel when it comes to helping anyone who is struggling and who just needs guidance.

I scored a 100% on myfinal! My excitement is above the roof! The reason though is because she teaches so well! There are homeworks, few quizzes and 2 exams plus the final. She helps you a ton! homework problems are just like the quizzes so if you do well on hw's you'll do well on quizzes. And Exam Reviews are just like exams! She is awessome!!!

Oh Amento, how I love you. I hope you read this one day. You are an amazing person, mentor, and professor. Without your help I would've been stuck in another Calc class crying and failing. Take Amento if you want to learn Calc. Material isn't too hard if you have the right person to teach it (Amento).

I would recommend Mrs. Amento for Methods of Calculus. I took her online class. Lectures are great. Not too much homework and quizzes were only about 3 questions. Her exams were the same questions from the Study Guide but using different numbers so make sure you know how to solve the questions on your own. She gives partial credit on tests.

I would recommend Dr. Amento. Online class, concepts are difficult but study and practice so tests are easy. I did the extra practices on My Math Lab plus the exam review questions (about 4 times) to implement the concepts. Dr. Amento gives partial credit on exams. I got a B because I didn't study as much for one of the exams.

This was my second time taking Methods and let me tell you I'm so glad I went with Professor Amento the second time around! I was a little worried about it being an online class, but the review for the exam is exactly like the tests and you can still get partical credit as well! She was a very caring professor and helped me a lot when I went to her

Amazing!!! Only purchases the online mymath lab. Gives partial credit on test and quizzes. test's are taken on campus in a computer lab. If you understand the homework and do good on the Quizzes you can get an A. She is an amazing professor! I had no problem with taking this class online. Final is cumulative.

I thought there would be no way I was passing Calc. I took the "best" professor in person and was completely lost so I figured an online option might be best so I can re watch what I don't understand. Her way of explaining and her manner of using specific examples that you will find in the homework was so good that I almost got an A! Work for it

I failed this class once with a different professor and ended up with a B this time around. I would recommend taking her to anybody, especially those who fear they aren't good at math.

Dr. Amento-Adelmann is great with explaining really difficult concepts. She is very thorough and detailed with all of her explanations. Study guides are just like test! Do them! She gives so much opportunity for extra credit. She always encourages you to stop by her office even outside of her office hours! I wish she taught calc 2 and 3!

Dr. Amento teachs soo accurately, her emails... dude she gets back to you i like 3 hours, is alwasy at class and kills it.. A+ would take again. Exams are tough but fair, you will be prepared if you apply yourself

I'm not strong in math, but she made it easy to understand. Exams are based off the same format of the questions on the study guides. Practice problems in the hwk that look exactly like them and you'll do fine. She's a little quick in the lectures, but not bad whatsoever. Take her!

Yes she is amazing, and yes she does help a lot. My only critique is that she does fly through lectures, and there is not enough quiz time. All that being said make sure you study, and understand the material before taking the exam.

She is one of the best professors at FAU. Watch all of her lectures and practice the HW and you will get a good grade. Print out the powerpoints before you watch the class. Following the examples with the powerpoints help you understand the material better. Trust me

10/5. Probably my favorite math professor. In charge of Math Learning Center - created learning assistant classes for calc 1, 2, and 3. 50 minute lecture, 50 minute group work of the topics covered. Super easy to understand - very encouraging. Having trouble with math? Take her class, go to LA hours. Extra credit from H.W. and exam corrections.

A great teacher no excuse not to pass the class if you try and take advantage of given opportunities.

She is easily one of the best math teachers I've had. She's energetic, speaks clearly, and understands the subject so that she teaches it effectively. She's nice and willing to help out anybody that asks. Overall, a great teacher with an energetic teaching style.

She's the best prof and really nice. :) I literally suck at math and was sure that I was going to fail because all my friends failed this class at least once. Quizzes aren't bad- drops the lowest two. Her study guides are literally what's on the test. Final exam is super simple- I got an A.

I took this class online while also taking a heavy science course load. Therefore I procrastinated a lot, did not watch all the lectures and did homework last minute. (would not recommend) I would of got an A if I put more effort into it. The professor has great reviews that were very similar to the tests.

Dr. Adelmanns online calc class is great. You can replay her lectures, and she gives a TON of extra/partial credit opportunities. If you do the homework and quizzes, the reviews, and the questions in the online study plan similar to her study guides youll do fine. I struggle with math and I was intimidated, but she really makes it doable!

Taken as a hybrid class, best professor. She gives a lot of extra credit and responds very quickly to emails. I've been horrible at math all my life and yet this class wasn't as much as a struggle, I failed all the exams but I passed the class just from home work and extra credit. I would highly recommend her.

Honestly best professor I've had all together. She is so sweet and helps you whenever. She also is really easy to contact if you ever need anything. Such a good person and really cares for her students.

I am usually really bad at math but her lectures were very clear ! Do not worry too much about low exam grades. Once all the exams are in she goes back and adds in partial credit for showing your work. There are also 2 extra credit opportunities for the exams. I watched an exam grade go from about a 65 to an 80! She's the best and caring

Brittanney is amazing. She is a great professor and takes the time to explain difficult concepts. What makes the course difficult is the material you have to learn, but Brittanney does her best to make sure you understand. There was a lot of homework, but its to be expected for Calculus 2. She did a great job handling the changes COVID caused.

If you are taking methods of calc please take her class. I did distance learning and it saved so much time, I only would spend about an hour for lecture and homework every week. Her exam reviews are exactly like the exams and she gives partial credit as well. She is really understanding, when I had a technological problem she extended the due date.

AMAZING PROFESSOR! If you have the chance to take Brittanney for any math class DO IT. She is incredibly nice and understanding of her students. She grades fairly and teaches very well. Calc is hard but Brittanney & her LAs make the experience of taking Calc less awful. Seriously take her. She's an awesome professor who will take her time to help you really understand what you're learning. There's a lot of hw. Make sure you visit the LAs. They were so helpful & I don't think I would've done this well w/o bothering them every week.

She was amazing I had her fully online due to covid, she would post weekly lectures about 30 min long and 10 question homework each week. 5 quizzes 2 tests and a final that she lets you use a cheat sheet on. PLUS she offers extra credit just by going to online tutoring. Ended with a 97 and I felt like I learned a lot! LOVED HER

I never enjoyed math, this course was pretty hard for me because I dont understand something the first couple times, I wont bother to continue. This class takes a lot of dedication, organization, and explanation. You can always talk to the prof or teacher aids but I didnt do it as often as I should, Im not someone to want help.

She makes things clear and gives every opportunity to succeed. She's super accessible outside class and goes above and beyond for her students. It's clear she loves what she does!

I took her for both calc 1 and 2. Calc is not an easy subject and no prof can change that, but if one could then itd be her. You can tell she actually cares about students understanding and not just there to get it over with. Very communicative and gives more than enough review resources for the exams

Brittanney is thorough, funny, and super caring. She loves teaching and loves her students even more. She always does story times when she can tell we are overwhelmed with the material and constantly tries her best to make sure everyone is comfortable. Despite her being a great teacher, going to the MLC to see LAs is vital to getting a good grade.

I love Brittney. She is so nice! She really does care and her teaching is easy to follow. The only reason I got a C is that I have a learning disability, but she is caring and is nice about extensions and makeups. Weekly quizzes, lots of homework.

One of the best professors I have ever had! She is truly passionate about teaching and is so caring. She takes breaks during lecture for story time and she is so funny. Her classes are very enjoyable. She is a great professor but moves very quickly so make sure you are paying attention.

Brittanney is amazing! There are weekly quizzes (50 min) and class is about 1hr lecture & 50 min worksheet. Lecture feels long but Brittanney makes it interesting by sharing stories and telling jokes. Weekly quizzes are 50% of our grade, the final is 20%, worksheets: 25%, and pre-worksheet quizzes: 5%. Go to your LA for grade improvement!

She's super nice and funny, and actually makes lectures interesting because she's a super great person. The class itself can be challenging, especially if you don't pay attention during lecture, but she's always willing to help you if you're struggling. Homework after every class, some parts for completion and some for accuracy.

I loved Professor Adelmann! The material was difficult at times but she is very thorough in her lectures and explains things well. She is very funny and stops midway through the lecture to talk to the class and share a story which is refreshing with the fast pacing of her lecture. EC opportunities! This class is hard, but she made it manageable.

Although her teaching style was very middle/high school vibes, It actually helped so much more and she actually cared. We didn't have exams just weekly quizzes, and a final at the end.
