There's online homework that's fairly simple and will be a good portion of your final grade. If you don't miss any of the homeworks you should get an A or a B. Also she's very attractive.

Graded by online hw, online quizzes, and in class exams . Going to class is necessary to understand the material. Notes are provided but set up as examples that you work through in class so, again, go to class. Material is challenging but she has office hours. Do all the homework to really help your grade. Drops lowest homework and quiz grades.

She is a great teacher, probably the best math teacher I have ever had. She gives extra credit and will answer any questions you have.

Excellent course and an excellent professor. Very no-nonsense, don't try begging for extra credit or taking the test at a different date, she makes it very clear that it's inappropriate. 5 points of extra credit per test contingent on doing well on a bonus quiz. I stopped doing the homework after the 1st test because she let us use cheat sheets.

This is probably one of the best professors I had this semester. She makes an outline of notes that you print and take to fill out in class. Coming to class is not mandatory, but please do come, she explains the concepts and examples when writing the notes for everyone. Homework and quizzes every week, but the exam is just like the quizzes.

The class is kinda tough but she's very clear in her lectures. Grading criteria is specific. NO extra credit! But you can bring in cheat sheets (one page front and back for regular exams; 4 pages front and back on final). Fair grader and is pretty excited about statistics

This class is honestly as easy A if you don't skip class and keep up with the words. I got a B but thats because I stopped going to class and skipped a lot of the homework assignments. Exams carry your grade so make sure to go through the homework assignments and use the review quizzes to your advantage. Make sure to print the guided notes.

Easy class! If you attend lectures, do the homework, and make good cheat sheets you'll be fine! The study quizzes she makes on MyStatLab are super helpful when studying for tests. There really is no reason not to pass this class. You get a full sheet of paper for notes for each test and 4 sheets for the final. Easy A!

Pretty good professor for a typically challenging course. Can use a cheat sheet for all the exams, so passing is pretty easy. As long as you show up to class and take notes you should be fine. The MyStatLab reviews are a must for exam prep. You can teach yourself with the online hw, but I don't recommend it (speaking from experience)

If you are taking Stats, TAKE HER! I am horrible in math but she made everything SO simple. She makes your notes for you (print them before class) and you just fill in her examples. She lets you bring a cheat sheet for each exam (4 cheat sheets for the final) Theres a lot of formulas so this is super helpful. She always has funny stories too

Four exams and one final. Allows you to have a cheat sheet for each exam. Doesn't take attendance. Overall, pay attention in class and you'll pass!

she's an entertaining professor and does make things simple. the one thing i will say is that the exams are much harder than the homework and quizzes so it can be difficult to prepare yourself for them at times, but if you put the effort in you'll be fine. you get a cheat sheet for every exam and 4 for the final.

Very funny, engaging, and helpful inside and outside of class. The class is extremely easy so long as you show up consistently. She lets you make a reference page to use on each of the 4 exams and the homework quizzes in class are all based on the notes, which she provided the outlines for. I couldn't have asked for a better Stats 2 professor.

Very nice professor and enjoyable course. Subject matter was interesting, but the professor moves a bit slow. Also the course was a breeze.

Mrs. Durrani is a VERY good choice! I'm HORRIBLE at stats, but she makes it really easy to learn. She makes a GroupMe for the course for any missed notes & HW help, drops lowest quiz & HW grade. I recomend not skipping class bc she teaches really thourough so you're able to grasp info. Tests are slightly difficult but do HW & practice test for help

Prof. Durrani was super cool and sweet. Her notes were helpful to a point, the homework, quizzes, and study guides don't match up to her notes or exams very well. It's not the easiest class but not the hardest either, just put in work to study and ask questions during office hours if you have them.

Professor Durrani is like, a standard good math teacher. You print out the notes and fill them out along with her in class, so if you skip, be aware that you'll have to just try and understand it without any explanations. I missed about 3 classes, but did all of the homework, and had a 98 before the final. Totally doable even if you're bad at math.

Professor Durrani was very good at explaining the material in a simple/understandable way. Uses mystatlabs for quizzes and hw, test is worded differently since she makes it but is no way harder. Drops 1 hw and quiz but exams are weighted more. Recommend going to lectures as she gives you an outline to fill out and she likes classroom participation.

Professor Durrani made me actually look forward to my stats lecture, which i'd never thought i would be able to say. She explains concepts in this class so well, and the notes she provides to fill out in class help tremendously. She also allows us to bring a cheat sheet for the exams. Take her!

Amazing prof- she understands the material and can translate it effectively to her students. You can have a full page cheat sheet per exam & 4 pages for the final. 4 exams in total & they are weighed heaviest. Try really hard to get A's on every exam so that you have wiggle room for the dreaded 3rd exam. GO TO CLASS & do review quizzes before exams

Professor Durrani is AMAZING, I loved her class, she is definitely there to help you out, and she is SO FRIENDLY. I loved taking her class and she made me want to take another stats class with her again!

I usually fail math classes but Prof. Durrani makes it so easy to understand and follow that I am actually enjoying stats. She gives you a note outline to print and then go over in class to fill it out. Homework every week and quizzes at the end of each chapter. You are allowed one sheet of notes for exams which is so helpful. Definitely recommend!

Mrs. Durrani is by far the best professor I have ever had. She is funny and you can tell she really cares about her students. She explains things so they are very easy to understand, even if you arent good at math. Print out the notes and attend lectures!! She doesnt post them anywhere. THE BEST math professor you will ever have. If you get anything less than an A you either were trying to do so or you constantly skip class. Literally show up, follow along with her teaching, and get an A. Excellent at conveying the concepts of stats and not just the methods. I love stats now. Good stories too. Textbook is useless compared to her.

I took her in the fall of 2019 and have to say she is a good teacher but you have to work for your grade and try to get on her good side because it may help you in the end if you want to round up your grade if it's an 89.5.

Math is a subject I consistently struggle in, but Durrani is such a fantastic professor that I actually got an A. Her lectures are engaging and she explains concepts very well. You get to bring a cheat sheet to every exam, which basically guarantees a good grade in this class. Shes a stellar professor, you wont regret taking her.

I was already pretty well informed on statistics before taking this class. But a lot of the material was new to me but was made easy thanks to Professor Durranis lectures. If you attend them and take notes you'll easily pass with an A

2 words cheat sheets. She allowed a cheat sheet filled with whatever you wanted during every exam. Also, she provided the note outlines for the class. She gave examples, that were actually like what was going to be on the exam. Also, her lectures were easy to follow. Gives extra credit every exam. Highly recommend taking her.

As someone who absolutely sucks at anything math related (I had to take college algebra twice cause I failed it the first time), I was really nervous about taking this class. However, Durrani not only made the course easy to understand, she actually made me WANT to learn the material! 10/10 recommend her she rocks!

Professor Durrani made stats just about as simple as it could be, even with the transition online from COVID. Even though the class size is large, she has a GroupMe for the class that she was very active in if anyone had questions, which was super helpful. I highly recommend her for anyone looking to take stats.

Professor Durrani is the best ever! I have seriously never rated a professor, but I had to with her. I took stats twice before her, and I failed both times! I signed up for a summer flex class (Yikes!) and Professor Durrani made it not seem crazy! She is so helpful and clear, always around for office hours, and really does want you to pass!

I was SO scared to take STATS as a nursing prereq but Durrani is LITERALLY the BEST teacher, ACTUALLY explains complex statistical concepts & makes it relatable, truly CARES about students. Has so much patience. Lets you use NOTES on the EXAM (which are straightforward af). If you don't get an A, its bc YOU didn't try & not bc of the professor!

I took her as my first stats class and she was amazing. Our class was online and there was no lecture but she recorded videos for us and notes to follow along. She accessible outside of class and genuinely wants to see you succeed. She's around for office hours for anything, even if you think it's a dumb question. Take her if you can, its worth it.

I hate math so no matter what its a struggle. Made video lectures with demonstration & extensive worked out notes. Usual mystatlab hmwk,quizzes,tests. Tests are open note & book. Always ready to help, quick to answer emails, groupme set up for peer help. Very clear about everything.

I was extremely nervous about having to take a statistics course, given that I'm terrible at math. However, Professor Durrani made this class seem so easy! I took this course during summer B, so we had to complete quizzes, homework, and an exam to complete every Monday. It really isn't a lot of work as long as you don't wait until the last minute.

Professor Durrani was amazing. Her lectures made the class SO accessible. I watched every one and filled in the study guides she makes for you. I have never done so well in a math class in my life. I was scared of stats but she makes it so understandable you are bound to do well. The class is test heavy but there are other grades to help you.

She is really straight forward with what is asked of you. Each chapter has a quiz and homework. Every test is on two chapters and we can use the homework, old quizzes, and our notes on the test. Her lectures are extremely helpful and they are recorded. I recommend watching them in 2.0X speed though because they're boring sometimes.

Brittany Durrani best stat professor! Everything is clearly explained in her lecture videos. Make sure u understand concepts before taking quizzes/tests as they're 1 try each. She drops lowest quiz and hw grade, but no curves or exam drops. She is friendly, fun, and ready to help you understand! (GroupMe 4 class , started by her, was good too!)

Best math prof and course Ive ever had. She texts in the groupme and her recordings doing the problems on her shower door were the best. Take this class if u need a stats class. Homework is through mylab so you'll have to pay for an access code. Didn't use the pearson text at all though. Her personality is awesome too

WATCH THE VIDEOS. she posts videos every week, takes u step by step thru problems that are very similar to the questions on the exams. ppl who didnt watch these videos struggled hard. u have to make time for them. takes abt an hour every week to watch them. im awful at math and these videos saved me. homework is helpful, u'll need the practice.

I struggle with math classes but professor duranni explains things very clearly. I took this class during COVID so the lectures were pre-recorded which I liked because my biggest problem in math is needing things slowed down or repeated. This class although homework heavy is pretty do-able. sections 6 and 7 are the most difficult but omni helps.

Durrani was an amazing instructor. Her notes and videos were super helpful. Was the class hard? Yeah, it's statistics, but her lectures make it really easy to understand.

Now i might not have the best grade and thats my fault not hers. Shes literally the best professor . Has excellent lectures and helps you with homework questions if you dont understand

Prof Durrani was such a sweetheart I enjoyed all of her lectures. Admittedly I'm math-inclined but I think she did a great job explaining everything and breaking down all the concepts. She also provided us with her own filled out notes so you could always refer to that. All the assessments were open notes so you had that as a crutch.

SO SWEET and so interactive in the groupme in the most caring, funniest way possible. Seriously take her class. The content is difficult but doable and it's not her, it's just statistics. Use her notes and understand the content and you will do absolutely fine. At the end, every one of my exam grades were rounded up and I got easy 100 on every hw.

Professor Durrani was a wonderful teacher who was very straightforward with the work she expected. Her videos and lessons were very easy to understand, this coming from someone who has always hated math. You get out what you put in for her class but she is very helpful!

By far my favorite professor this semester!! There was a few homework assignments for each exam and the semester had five exams altogether. Each exam had an extra credit question to go with it. I felt that it was an easy class but I had taken statistics before in high school.

Definitely a pretty easy A if you watch her videos and copy her notes. The homework and quizzes will be based on her notes. The tests get progressively harder, but she gives 1 extra credit problem per test and you can use your notes on the test. If you put in a little work, you can easily get an A.

I did not even need to finish the semester to write a good review for her. Her online lectures are awesome. Her tests are exactly what she teaches and she does not grade you on unnecessary assignments. I wish all professors taught how she does!

Online lectures where she actually taught and did practice examples, usually under 10 mins each but definitely helpful. She organized everything by the week with all the links and notes right with the lectures. This is my first statistics class and I have an A, shes great. Tests arent too challenging, 20 qs with 1 e/c. Graded on hw and quizzes.

This was my first time taking stats and she explained everything perfectly in her notes, gave examples, and had videos of her working through the problems. Unlimited tries on homework and non graded review quizzes. She really wants you to learn and makes it accessible even remotely. She also sends a weekly statistics joke in her emails. 10/10

She is wonderful! Her online teaching format is the best by far out of anyone else Ive had. She walks you through the problems and is very easy to get ahold of if you have any issues. Shes compassionate and takes the time to teach you why youre learning the topic not just to memorize and forget! Im not good at math but I excelled in this class.

She gives her own written notes as well as a blank copy to make your own so you can follow along and I cannot stress enough how helpful it was. Prof. Durrani is amazing! I have always hated math and barely passed with a C in other classes, but the only way you can fail in her class is if you deliberately do no work at all the whole semester. Not only does she explain stats so impeccably she also gives you many chances to gain extra credit.

I failed the first time i took this class w another professor. When i took it with prof. durrani she was amazing. She is one of the best professors ive had at UCF. Her videos were very clear and understanding and you can finish the course earlier if you want.

Ms. Duranni is the BEST math teacher you will ever have. I've struggled with stats in the past and thanks to her I ended the course with an A. Never used the textbook. She lectures so clearly and repeats information several times throughout the lecture to ensure that you get it. She is also super funny and she wants her students to do well!

This is tough class, but she really makes it easy to understand and offers tutoring 4 days a week to those that need it. She replies fast and thoroughly explains the lessons.

Great Professor. We had homework on mymathlab every week and a quiz almost every week. She posts short lecture videos and notes that were very clear and helped a lot. The exams were slightly harder than the homework, in my opinion, but still not too bad. If you are taking stats I would definitely recommend Professor Durrani!

This lady is a godsend. I am terrible at math but her notes are very detailed and she is super friendly as well. Exams were only like 20 questions each time. Lots of homework, but it helps your grade.

Professor Durani's "worked-out notes" were a blessing. They were simple, yet so effective at making us learn the content. On top of this, she was super organized. The homework assignments were unlimited attempts and were great practice for the quizzes and tests.

I LOVE PROF. DURRANI! Every math professor should be like her, I would take every course with her if possible. Awesome lectures, even through COVID. Normal amount of hw (it is a math class so it is needed), quizzes were identical to the hw, and she makes her own tests so there are no surprises!

I literally loathe math and hate it! However, she's legit the best math teacher and teacher I've ever had. She makes it easy to understand and I had ready failed this class prior w/ a different teacher. I told her she could teach a box of rocks & they'd understand. I wouldn't take math again, but whatever she's teaching I would. I love her!

There is a book but I think I only opened it twice. She has videos that she gives links for each week that go along with the lessons for each section of the chapter. She does provide zoom tutoring once a week as well as in person tutoring for those who need extra help. All work is done on Connect Math except last 2 chapters are done on canvas.

Everything was done through connect math except the final and last 2ch. HW & Quizzes worth 20% of the grade, Tests 60%. Quizzes had 10 Questions and Tests had 25. She Offered 1 extra credit opportunity. Does not extend deadlines, I caught the flu and missed 2 HW assignments, still managed to get a B+ in a C-term fully online class. Not bad at all.
