Ms. Holloman is a nice and friendly professor. Her class is straight forward and rubrics for speeches is very easy to understand. Very little homework or reading from the book. The only complaint I have are the two tests. The midterm and final have very ambiguous questions and you will not know these answers regardless of how long you study.

I enjoyed taking this class. If you are looking for an easy A, all you have to do is follow the directions and LISTEN! Sometimes she will mention something that is a little specific, so be careful that you don't miss it. Also, she didn't use the textbook very much in class, it was as if we had an open discussion every day. It was pretty neat

She's really great. Very understanding and is willing to work something out if you miss an assignment or class. She's also very funny and cool. She does give a lot of papers but they're simple and don't require any crazy effort. There's also a couple of speeches so you HAVE to practice and be prepared. The book isn't essential.

I took Brittanys public speaking course and it was fantastic! Such a sweet professor! Some group projects and only two solo speeches. Easy grader but if you never show up or do any work don't expect to pass. Both exams online, just go to class and you'll do great on them. Overall just a wonderful person!

I loved Professor B! Shes is young and fun and thriving. She is a big on mental health and gives you ways to feel more comfortable during speechs. Professor Holloman is a great professor for speech. I enjoyed the freedom that she gave us on our speeches. You are allowed to choose whatever topic fits the criteria which allows you to create speeches on subjects you enjoy or want to talk about. I would definitely recommend this course. If you follow the assignment guidelines, you will do well.

Professor B is a great professor, unlike some teachers, she is extremely open minded and allows students to express their beliefs and views. She also really care about her students and tries to make sure that they are doing okay outside of class and provides ways to help students with their grades.

I am not great at writing nor am I good at public speaking in any aspect. Yet, I still got a 100 in the class. Attendance is mandatory but overall a genuinely easy class. You dont need a textbook. If you get your stuff turned in on time, you will have no problem. If you have an A at the end of the class, you dont have to take the final.

I loved how this professor was always trying to get the class comfortable in having discussions that dived deeper into who we were (for speeches). She also loved when the class was able to participate in the discussions and was always there if you reached out to her. Was I worried about making speeches before, yes. Did this class change that, yes!

Professor B always tied in lectures to interesting stories. She cared about her students' opinions and wanted others to participate during class. Overall, she was very friendly and you could tell she wanted her students to succeed in both school and in the real world.

Professor Holloman has been my favorite professor so far, she is so real and genuinely cares about all of her students. Her class is so much fun, we had a couple group projects/ presentations and one or two individual. Also don't stress if you are shy or not a people person because by the end of her class that will change!

Professor Holloman is very kind and caring, but she overwhelmed herself this semester causing her to be late ever day and unorganized which caused a lot of confusion in our class. Overall the group projects are good and your individual speeches she will grade nicely on if you attend class. Communication is an issue and expectations could be clearer

I'm not sure why the other recent reviews were so negative but she's a really good teacher and the class is easy, as long as you follow the due dates that are published in the canvas calendar you will be fine. Two speeches, and a couple of written assignments which are easy but must be done in a specific format stated in the syllabus.

I took her Summer 2023 online. Amazing class I remember we just had to record ourselves 4 times and the topics are so easy and for 2 minute max. I highly recommend taking her if you want an easy semester and 0 struggle in this class. She is fast to responding emails and she gives you so much ideas to talk about.

I thought Professor B was a great teacher. Her class was easy to follow, and the assignments were helpful. She also responded to my emails the same day, sometimes within minutes.

An online group speech class was always gonna be difficult. Thankfully I had a good group and she was very understanding if anything came up. We had 1 personal narrative speech and 1 group speech through the semester. Course work wasn't too heavy, the hard part was coordinating with everyone in the group. She's a very easy grader.
