The class is half in a classroom and half in the math lab. She is very helpful and wants you to understand the info. She's really young so she isn't hard to talk to and she makes sure that everyone understands the info before they leave the class. Recommend.

Mrs J is great. I hate math and I actually looked forward to going to her class. She's funny and sweet and extremely helpful. She relates to students more because she's so young but the way she explains math problems made everything super easy. It's half math lab & half classroom but theres redos on homework and quizzes for hundreds. TAKE HER CLASS

GREAT teacher. She goes over problems with a ton of examples, which helps students understand math. She's very easy to relate to and funny :) I have always hated math, but since being in her class I have started to actually "get" it and enjoy it. I look forward to attending this class. I highly recommend picking her as your teacher!

If you are not great at Math like I am, then take professor Juraszek, she is the best math teacher I've ever had! Overall Mrs. J was a good teacher. Make sure to attend all classes. If you start missing, you will fall behind quickly. I tend to like to push my limit on missed days and this is not the kind of class for that.

It's obvious she adores teaching Stats, energetic & enthusiastic every class! Stats is difficult but she goes above & beyond to help guide her students. She gives chapter handouts, class activities, exam/quiz reviews, extra credit, available before/after class & responds to emails promptly. I would not be passing, if this was any other professor!

Prof. Juraszek's acumen for statistics & penchant for teaching is proven evident while enrolled in course. She is able to teach concepts in a manner which serves students best. Her willingness to spend extra time tutoring students is only bested by her propensity to go above and beyond the requirements of her work thus making her an excellent prof.

Ms. J is literally the cutest/hippest/friendliest math professor you will EVER have. This is my 2nd time taking her because of how great of a teacher she is. I took her for MAT1033 and it was such a breeze with her teaching the class! she wants her students to pass and gives a lot of bonus points opportunity. I highly recommend you take her! Attendance is pretty much mandatory and she does notebook checks which should be an easy 10/10. So going to class would be worth it.

She's great. She made everything easy as possible to understand and tells you exactly what she wants. However, you do need to go to class, not because it mandatory, but because there is so much to learn you won't pass if you skip. She gives you all the formulas for the test which is beyond helpful. Take her. You won't regret it.

Depends on your class MAT1033 we had 2 HW'S & Quizzes every week (it's not as much as it sounds). Take her YOU'LL LOVE HER! I've never rated a professor before but if you have to take MAT1033 she is the professor to have. She teaches how to solve problems differently and in a clearer way. She is very young and in grad school while she teaches at sf, so she understands students struggle! and she will work with you if you show effort.

Ms. Juraszek will definitely do anything she can to help you out but if you're not the best at Algebra you really need to put in the effort to pass the exams. She is very fair and will ask repeatedly in class if anyone has questions. Thanks to her I now know how to do Algebra!

She a great teacher but the class is really hard. Be prepared for a lot of homework every night. Also, the test are really hard and you have to pass every test with a 70 to pass the class. However, she is very helpful and will sit down and explain it to you multiple times till you understand.

I have never been good at any kind of math and I got my highest grade ever in math in her class. She is very helpful, gives clear instructions, gives a good amount of extra credit opportunities, and is very funny lol. Take advantage of her office hours!!!!!!! Loved taking Stats with Professor Juraszek. She makes it easy to take notes by having you print out a notes packet and you fill in the information during the lecture. I have never earned an A in a math class before this class. She is really passionate about stats and is a UF student so she understands the stress of college.

Cool teacher, very funny. Had her in a morning class so nobody in the class was really feeling it lol but she managed to make math not too awful. Only problems I ran into were like, I would be doing the homeworkquizzes and I'd notice stuff that we never went over in class. Happened 4 or 5 times probably

Great instructor, will help you pass this class. Clear lectures, but don't miss them or be late. Goes to the math lab with you to help. Grading is the same policy for all Mat1033classes. Would definitely take her again.

Juraszek is a really nice and outgoing professor. As long as you make it to all of the lectures it will be really hard for you to fall behind in this class. Tests are not overly difficult and there are plenty of opportunities for extra credit. If you need help she is always there for you! Would take again.

Prof. Juraszek made Stats. easy. I'm sure Stats is a lot more difficult but not in her class. I found that her notes truly helped me make an A on the tests and the final. Go to class and take great notes and it will be difficult to fail her class.

I have taken her twice and she is truly a great teacher! Tests were a little tough for me, reviewing the notes and test reviews will help a lot! There are many opportunities for extra credit.

Professor Juraszek is THE BEST professor I have ever had. I am a student with ADD and a learning disability, I have always sucked at math. But she took the time to help me, and is always there. You just have to be willing to go to her. She worked with me and helped me pass because she saw I was trying. Had a 69.8 in the class, passed with a B.

Prof. Juraszek takes crystal clear step-by-step notes on her projector for the class to copy down and is very open to any questions and never makes anyone feel dumb for asking. She is the best math teacher I have ever had. Plus, she is an excellent "artist" ;) Unfortunately for SFC, she is going to UCF in the Fall. UCF students: take her class!!

Awesome professor for stats. She really broke it down for you when you needed it. Also, she's pretty funny and not an absolute bore to learn from. Three tests, a final, and random activities dispersed throughout the semester. HW is not graded but will help learn the material better. She made stats interesting and more than passable.

Part 2: She really breaks down the material, and I love how she does hands on activities to engage learning. She is pretty funny, genuinely cares for her students; don't get it twisted she isn't handing out As and Bs, you have to work for it. She is willing to help outside of class, very down to earth, test are a reflection of HW and lectures.

Juraszek is hilarious, goofy and really sweet. She is definitely NOT a tough grader, her exams were multiple choice and the homework is automated so there's nothing for her grade.
