She's pretty good. Do the webwork and attend class because she will throw pop quizzes in a heartbeat. Plus you won't be able to do webwork if you don't go to class and fill in the notes. Webworks are like cushion grades, so do good on them!

Professor Love is a pretty good math teacher. As long as you come to class and actually listen to her and take notes you should be fine. Webwork every week, but not too much and it keeps you on top of everything. A review period before each test…small class size, willing to help and I would definitely recommend her to incoming freshman!

While she can get mad at times, she was a pretty great teacher. I had no problem understanding the class whatsoever.

Everyone said she was going to be mean and a tough teacher, but I loved her class. It isn't a hard class and she really explains everything well. I think you should have a basic understanding of math before going into her class because she does speed through material, but she does provide a lot of opportunities for extra help outside of class.

She is very aggressive, and moves through material lightning fast, however she is also approachable and VERY willing to help. She lets us work together on pop quizzes, and is giving a 10% curve on our final homework grade. Tests are difficult, but teach you. Overall, she's pretty cool. I would take her again.

I am not a big time math person, but Professor Love made this class a breeze! She is easy to get along with, dedicated to her students, and makes learning and understanding math a lot easier. I absolutely hated math in high school, but loved Ms. Love's class. She gives "pop quizzes" but you can work with the people around you, making it easy to get A's on all of them. Study over those quizzes when she hands them back, do her review guides, and complete all WebWork and you'll get an A! She's always willing to help you when you need it.

I'm surprised Ms. Love doesn't have a higher rating. She goes out of her way to help her students succeed - by the very end of her class I had a 130% quiz average, which set me up for success going into the final. Take this professor if you've never been good at math, but still want to get an A; she will do everything she can to help you.

The class seems fast paced at first, but once you get into the routine of it it's not difficult. Just come to class and do the webwork. She doesn't put notes online so if you skip, what you miss is on you. She's pretty sarcastic and a bit intimidating, but overall not a bad teacher. If you do what you're supposed to do, you should get an A or B.

Brittany is an AWESOME teacher, if you do you're homework and ask questions I really don't see how you can't get an A in the class especially with the group quizzes and extra credit at the end! I deff would take her again if possible. You won't regret it at all

She is a great teacher! She gives homework but you have a week to complete it and she gives group quizzes throughout the semester. There are only a few tests and the final. She is a really good teacher and its an easy A!

Great Math teacher. I had her for College Algebra. She claims to get the highest class averages at the end of every semester. You get a good amount of online work called WebWork. You can knock it out in an hour if you use Mathway. Quizzes are group quizzes so you can get an easy A there. Tests are exactly like study guide. Takes attendance.

If you did well in Algebra 1 and 2, this class is super easy.

Moves fast, but I wouldn't say it's a hard class at all. Print out the notes, pay attention, you'll get an A. Emails back very fast, and is generally pretty helpful. She really wants you to understand the material. She even came in the day of her grandmother's death, just to make sure no one had any questions that went unanswered before the final.

Moves pretty quickly, makes people look stupid when they ask a question, but I passes with a 92, so she can actually teach if you pay attention

She's tough in class, but the homework, quizzes, and tests are a breeze. DO NOT BUY ONLINE TEXTBOOK... you don't use it.

This was the easiest class I had this semester, she gives extra credit on every test, and at the end of the course so I ended with a 108. As long as you do your homework and go to class everyday there is no reason to not pass this class, she's there for you in every way, highly highly recommend. Also don'y but the online textbook, I didn't use it.

The first day of class I swore I was going to hate her class, but I grew to love it. She is a wonderful professor if you participate and do what you're supposed to. SHe does move through lectures fast, but there are plenty of resources that she offers if you didn't get it the first time. Trying to take her for Statistics as well.

This teacher was all business. If you aren't there to learn she will not tolerate it. With that being said, she is a great teacher and helps explain each math problem step by step so that you understand it. She provides online notes for you to print out and use in class. Take advantage of this because they are really helpful.

Ms Love is an awesome professor. She genuinely cares about her students. She can come off a little harsh sometimes but it's just because she expects the most from her students. She WILL call you out! I've taken her for two classes, I got a B and an A. Put effort in, she wants you to succeed. Lots of opportunities at the end to boost your grade.

Ms. Love is a solid teacher. She's not incredible, but of all the choices you have in the math dept. it's an easy choice to pick her. She's very direct and I thought that helped me understand a lot. She went over study guides (which is really nice) and most of the class is based on the online HW and tests. If you do well, the final is no worry.

We didn't use the book. Do the homework. Skipping it, as well as class, will not benefit you at all. Study the material and you'll do fine. She teaches at a fast rate but it worked. Don't be afraid to ask her questions. She may seem intimidating but she is an awesome teacher. Would definitely take another class of hers.

I love her (no pun intended)! She's hilarious! She can come off as kind of passive aggressive but as long as you listen and pay attention she won't direct that towards you. She will go over the notes pretty quickly in class so you'll need to focus in order to keep up. Her class is 100% easier if you look over the lesson notes before class!

Ms. Love lets you take group quizzes because "you work better together". Shes a recent graduate of UNCC so she can relate to her students (ie bumping grades, group quizzes, extending deadlines past 11:59). She knows her stuff and will make sure you do also. Highly recommend any class with her, just make sure you put in the effort on your end.

She is super easy, there are group quizzes and there are 4 tests. The first 2 tests are not hard but the material for the next 2 requires time to study. Amazing teacher.

Took her for BusCalc and Stats 1220. Shes a fair grader, gives lots of homework. Will call you out, if you are on electronic devices. Pay attention, she goes at a fast pace, but will help you, especially if she sees youre trying. Attendance matters in her classes, so dont skip. Group quizzes and test matches her review.

I absolutely loved Professor Love I took her for STAT1222 she does move fast with her topics but she gives you time to go over problems on your own and with your classmates, and she always says use your classmates to help you which is true. Shes hilarious but will call you out if you do something dumb. Print out her notes she gives you and do hw!

She is overall a decent teacher. She does move through topics in class rather quickly, but it is beneficial because at the end of the semester, you have so much time to review for the final. Homework is long but manageable. Quizzes and tests are almost identical. Overall, an easy class.

Really laid-back professor. Attendance is a big part of your grade. Quizzes are taken in groups. As long as you show up for class and do the assignments, you'll do great. Notes are fill-in-the-blank style. As long as you don't ask stupid questions or interrupt her during class, she's really fun.

SHE'S AWESOME. Very tough when you slack, like a coach. I'm an athlete so I like professors like her. She allows you to do group quizzes which helps you for the test. I took her for college alebra, which wasnt hard at all. She gives you notes to print off and take to class, which helps you when you study. She gives a lot of homework, but its all online, a lot of it but very manageable. She wants you to get an A but she will not give it to you. Very fast paced lectures so pay attention! Professor Love can be very intimidating but if you show up, pay attention, and give good effort she will do everything possible to help you. Attendance is mandatory, but a lot of assignments are given out online which is nice because you can work at your own pace. Online test are harder than in class test.

Very compassionate about her work and her students. She goes over the material in-depth and makes sure that her students actually understand. If there are problems with understanding the material, she has office hours for a few hours a week. She's the best! Just don't skip class and pay attention and you will do great.

The only time this woman was angry was when a student was on their phone, disrupting the class by talking, on their laptop, blatantly not paying attention or asking the same question after already going in depth in explantation on the same exact question. If you like to slack and be disruptive then yeah, you'll have a bad time. She's great though!

Great professor. Every lecture is pretty much the same. We go through section notes with her explaining problems. There are always pre-class quizzes, hw, and practice exams on HAWKES. The book is also available online if needed. She gives a ton of practice finals. She gets SUPER mad if you are on your device or go to sleep.

Love is one of those tough love kinda professors and can come off a little rude but overall has a solid structure you can easily follow. If you like following deadlines and a repetitive structure, you will flourish in this class. In the end, she even replaces your lowest test score with your final. I liked her class so much I am taking her again.

If you don't come to class, you won't pass! Do the assignments in a timely manner and finish them as quickly as you can and work ahead if possible! Practice makes perfect when it comes to learning the material in this class.

#1 Class is difficult to begin with. She teaches it well. Form a study group with other students this is key to getting an A in this class. She gives you 10+ Points on your final grade in EC Its at the very end with test reviews. GROUP QUIZZES Easy A on those JS. If you can teach yourself take it.

Strict, but respects you if you respect her. The best teacher I have ever had. She has the whole class planned out on day 1 of the semester and follows it pretty closely. Love cares so much about her students and only wants to see them succeed. She is always available via email with quick replies and is willing to help during office hours. TAKE HER

I loved taking Ms. Love. I have taken two of her classes and did very well in both of them. She isn't necessarily the best at teaching the material but she gives out a lot of homework and quizzes so you end up learning it. She does a good job of distributing the grades so you end up having 20+ grades, which can really help out your grade.

She's a really great professor that lays out what she wants right from the beginning of the class and if you do the work and print out the notes, you'll be fine, but participation is mandatory.

I never did well in math in high school, but Professor Love's Algebra class made me believe that I wasn't "bad at math." She is a demanding teacher, but she supports you if you are working hard, and she really really prepares her students for the final. I took her for Stats because my experience in Algebra was so positive, and I am glad I did.

She moves VERY fast, so actually pay attention and don't talk to your friends the whole class or be on your phone. She gets mad a lot which is unwarranted for but she's not a bad professor; she knows what she's talking about. Sit front row and pay attention and you'll be good. Just don't mess around all class and make sure to print your notes.

Y'all I got a 102% in this class. it's SO easy!!! Even though she can be rude, just don't talk. It's that simple. Don't be that goofy freshman that socializes constantly. It's an easy class if you pay attention and take notes, just find friends to do HW with outside of class and you'll be good.

The professor gives you guided notes to fill out while you watch the lecture, making it extremely easy to follow. She does seem to get annoyed at certain questions but its understandable as everything is laid out. Very accommodating by posting all lectures and even extra practice videos. You will learn how to work problems by hand & calculator.

She had quick concise lectures. Spent the last 2 weeks reviewing for the final and did not feel stressed about it. She can come off a rude sometimes, but she really wants her students to do well.

Professor Love is an alright professor. She is very fast paced. She does let you work in groups on the quizzes. The homework assignments are easy and you can easily pass this class. She doesn't like for you to have phones or computers out and will call you out on it. The attendance policy is also a little strict.

She gets a bad rep. Can be a little rude but for the most part wants you to do well and help. Was never rude to our class but she expects you to listen. Literally got a 100 on the final exam, never got lower than an 85 on a test, good teacher tbh. She was gone for 4 weeks bc she had a baby but my TAs were great. Drops grades at the end, easy class

Attendance is mandatory and she really emphasizes that too. Some people get annoyed by how she is but if you're there for every class she's very nice. her tests are easy and she was really nice. just make sure you always show up to class.

Great teacher, strict about phone use and sleeping in class. Fast-paced teaching may not be suitable for those who need step-by-step guidance. Homework and quizzes are easy, and in-class group quizzes are easy if you have the right peers. Understanding quiz questions is essential, as tests are literally the same questions just different numbers.
