She was so helpful.Very Perky,Very understandable,Cute sense of humor,and she rocks because i made a "A" in her class.I thought ENC1101 was goin 2 be Brutal and boring but it turned out to be my favorite class.Thanks to Ms.Bovee.Best believe I haunted her down so she could be my ENC1102 professor.

if you don't like to write run from this professor. too many papers and not enough help. she would just go through the assignments but she didn't really explain what is was what had to do and she was quite boring

Great professor. She makes sure to explain the assignments thoroughly, even gives you samples. She's also funny, and makes the class interesting. She gives a lot of quizzes as first but they are easy A's, if you read the material which is often short. I definitely recommend her!

Professor Bovee has been my favorite english teacher since high school. She is an amazing teacher, nice, funny, and willing to help her students 100 percent. What teacher emails their students paperwork if they loose it? Send emails of changer in her office hours and changes to always be found. She honestly is awesome unlike Ms. Niles from ENC1101

Professor Bovee is great at what she does. You rarely see a teacher who actually takes the time and explains things to you. She's helpful, kind, and a pusher. Her class focuses on a research paper which she prepares you; it counts for half of your final grade. Responds quickly to e-mails and really connects with the students. Highly recommend her.

Prof. Bovee is GREAT. Her assignments aren't hard and if you don't understand your welcome to visit her during her office hrs or email she responds fast except on the weekends. She is always emailing extra information to help you with the works she gives out I LOVED HER CLASS!(:

She's amazing! I'm in her honors class and it's still easy.I've learned a lot about local history.Super easy tests.You basically don't do too much in the class, so if you want a relaxed english class to learned and get a good grade, this is the one.I strongly recommend her.She's very fun and nice.

Don't think twice take prof Bovee. She is always there to help you on any assignment, whether its after class for a minute or in her office hours. I took her for both ENC 1101/1102, if you put maximum effort you are guaranteed to past, without a doubt. You will also become an educated citizen, your writting will definetly improve, thats a fact!

I just took this professor for fall semester. She is a great professor. She is very nice and funny. She loves to get the class to interact and teaches them about civil responsibility. She makes you very socially aware. READ/PRINT ALL THE HANDOUTS POSTED ON ANGEL. LEARN ALL GRAMMAR RULES. DO ALL HOMEWORK. You will pass.

Prof. Bovee is definitely a must to take english with! She was so helpful and made her assignments and essays really easy to understand and complete. She is very detailed orientated and expects you to do exactly what she says. DON'T miss her class. Don't text either, she'll embarrass you in front of everyone. Great prof. overall!

I dont remember using the book for her class specifically but you may want to have it to look up rules when you are writing your research paper. Fabulous professor broke down the paper into small easy steps and was an overall great experience. Showed us videos on current national and world issues. This should be your ENC1102 professor.

Although I received an F, she is a good teacher.She is another one that has favoritisim and can be condescending. IF you take her, it is at your own risk.

I actually learned how to write a GOOD research paper. her class was amazing I learned alot, not only about english but about society. the whole course is based on a research paper in which she guides you step by step. she may be a little ironic at times but thats just the way she is ! take her you wont regret it

If You Want To Pass ENC 1101, DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS !!! But She Is A Nice Teacher lol.

Shes an okay person and very sarcastic. Shes really stuck on grammar. She kinds of explains things and does try to help though. Start off good with her and visit her office hours. She is a tough grader as well but other enc profs. are not that amazing either.

Professor Bovee is an awesome teacher. She really will help with your writing. The work is easy and you know all of your assignments ahead of time. She answers any questions you have but may be a little sarcastic at times. She is easy just do your work and you will be fine.

Great teacher, she's VERY clear with what she wants for her assignments. pretty tough grader but If you follow instructions you should have no problem passing this class. I highly reccomend it.

Bovee is one of the most unique professors I've ever had. Throught out the beginning of the semester I didn't like her at all, but as the semester progressed all she really did was help me improve my writing skills. Not an easy A, but a great professor if you don't drop the class the minute it gets too hard. I recommend to any English majors!!

If you're seeking an "easy A" professor, she is not the one for you. A bit awkward, sarcastic, snappy at times, and a harsh critic when it comes to grading. However, she does help improve your writing skills. I didn't find the course difficult, but to each their own. If you're a good writer coming into the course, the odds are in your favor!

Awesome teacher i enjoyed her class and will be taking her for enc1102 . She offers extra credit which helps a lot if you're not a strong writter. Also, not very tolerate of slackers so if you want to pass do all your work and you should be fine.

Prof Brooke Bove is an overall an amazing teacher, she's a hard grader but if you do all her assignments and try your best you can pass with an A. I recommend her and I would take her again if I could. She's honestly great. TAKE HER CLASS! You won't regret it.

Great professor really detailed grading lets you know what you need to improve on.

This is my second time taking this professor and I absolutely loved her class. She's a great teacher, gives great feedback, and has a great sense of humor. I honestly feel that after these two semesters my writing has improved immensely! I would take her again of I could. ENC1102 was definitely a lot more challenging though. I highly recommend her!

She really makes you work for the grade. Research Paper was pretty difficult but she defiantly makes sure to help you along the way. She also is very specific on the papers and will mark every little thing wrong with it. Alot of Papers and work for this paper but she does care and she does love her students and wants to do well.

She was a wonderful professor. I learned to perfect my writing skills in her class. She gives you good feedback on your writing.

Had Professor Bovee for both 1101 and 1102. She is a good professor can come off as a bit rough at first and has a weird sense of humor but she grows on you. Her class is not too difficult if you show a bit of interest and do the assignments (not last minute) she has not difficulty putting anyone out there either. Overall her class is an easy A.

Professor Bovee is a great professor, she does use all the class hours (I had her from 8-11:20). Her lectures are super interesting, she's knowledgeable and inclusive, and discussions aren't hard at all. It's not hard to pass this class, unless you don't do the work. I would definitely take her again.

ENC 2300 -This a professor you want to take. This professor was truly amazing. She provides clear guidelines for the work she expects, she responds fast to emails. Easy to get done and shes not a tough grader.

Best professor I've ever had. She truly cares about her students and wants them to understand the material. She is extremely understanding and not afraid to work with her students. You actually have to work in this class but she does a great job at making the work fun and digestible.

Professor Bovee is by far one of the best professors I have had. She does count attendance! She cares about your grade and does everything she can to make sure you pass. She offers numerous opportunities for extra credit! Although she does not prefer to do it, she does allow retakes for certain assignments. Overall, SHE IS GREAT, TAKE HER!!

Her lectures are great, work style is amazing. She really wants you to participate, wants to be your friend, loves to talk in a good way lol, very understanding. She will not let you fail so if you do that's because you're just lazy. She just wants you to put in effort, come to class!, be ready to learn, and respect her. I love her so much.

She's great and funny in an awkward way. She genuinely cares about her students and tries to be as helpful as possible. The passive-aggressiveness was annoying at times. My biggest complaint is that she points out some of your errors but leaves the rest for you to find, which I found counterintuitive. Overall, though, she's great.

I loved this class and professor she is super sweet and funny. she really wants us to succedd and really cares about her students. her class is pretty easy a textbook is "required" but i never used it. she accepts late work depending on what it is just dont take advantage. do all your assignments its a easy A. Professor Bovee is one of my favorite teachers. She does a couple of group work and the work is really not hard. She is quick to give feedback and she actually cares about her students. Professor Bovee was one of the finest ever for me. She is not going to pick you up from the pool but make you learn how to swim. I loved her classes and how she went on to provide the classes with road maps towards a passing grade. If you are willing to work hard and learn, she is a great one to take.

ENC2300. The class consisted of two recorded speeches, a few papers, and assignments. Professor Bovee is really kind and truly cares about her students. The only thing is that she graded a few assignments late, but other than that she was great. The projects are easy, just that you have to really understand the instructions so you get a good grade.

She's such a good professor. She actually cares about what you have going on. It's honestly so hard to fail her class. She makes sure you're on top of it and is so helpful!

Proffesor bovee was amazing, i took the ENC1101 summer mini term and she made it really easy. 2 papers worth most of ur grade, most of the hw was easy 1 paragraph assignments. Shes very lenient and always tells people to let her know if anything is going on so she can help. SHES GREAT TAKE HER CLASS. Really caring so its hard to fail her class.
